14.3hh 9yrs old WPB Black gelding. Charlie is a very smart horse, he has 3 balanced flashy paces and works into a contact. Competed at pony club, dressage, XC and SJ events.

Charlie has a lovely jump happily popping course of 80 with scope for higher. Has done unaffiliated dressage with ability to progress.Hacks alone and in company. Good to clip/ shoe/ box/ catch.

Charlie has been our much-loved happy hacker and leisure horse. He’s mostly been used at pony club, hacking and schooling by our teenage daughter, but unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances our daughter is no longer able to give him what he needs.

He’s a fun, forward-going ride with that classic Welsh spark. He’s never nasty, but he does have that cheeky, intelligent Welsh nature, so he’s best suited to a confident and experienced rider who can enjoy and channel his personality.

In the right hands, he’ll make someone an absolutely brilliant partner and go a long way – whether it’s for hacking, fun rides, or even bringing on further if you want to do more.

5* home only where he’ll be loved as much as he is here.

Up to date with dentist and vaccinations.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions or to arrange a viewing/ride.

CHOCCY
Gorgeous 2018 black Irish gelding standing at a full up 13.1hh, the perfect pony club pony / BS pony, allrounder pony. This lovely chap has done it all, plenty of experience in the ring but will do anyone’s job. He has previously hunted, cross country schooled and done plenty of showjumping, a real pony club type but equally quiet enough for a small adult to do low level things with.

Choccy is a sweet chap, he has three lovely paces and a great canter, an easy ride; he’s brave to a fence and will go off any stride. He’s fantastic to hack out on his own or with others, proven to be very sensible in open spaces and with heavy traffic and farm traffic, not spooky or looky and just wants to please.

A nice quiet type on the ground and very mannerly. An excellent ride who will do anyone’s job. Open to any vet or trainer £9750 trial period available

Sweet 14 hand gelding looking for loving home to fulfil his potential.

Hacks alone and in company with confident rider.

Been ridden by small adult and teenagers with us but needs someone to tell him to crack on, then he does.

Good in traffic, happy in/out, turns out with other horses. Can have the odd ‘cob moment in the yard but fine with experienced handler.

Would be a cool project for keen teen or small adult to have fun with.

Goes in the school but needs further education.

It’s not every day a pony like this comes along. Finn was imported from Ireland in 2024, unbroken. Finns owner did a superb job of breaking him in and giving him the time he deserved hacking all over the Quantocks, living in a herd and learning quietly how babies should.

Finn is a truly exceptional 4-year-old purebred Connemara gelding who combines looks, talent, temperament, and top breeding into one rare package.

Standing at a lovely 14.1hh and beautifully put together with outstanding conformation, making him a standout wherever he goes.

He has three naturally flashy, balanced paces and carries himself with elegance and ease, this is a pony who turns heads for all the right reasons. I think as a five year old this pony will float across show rings!

He’s schooled at many arenas now, indoor/outdoor and xc schooling, handled a wide variety of environments, and proven himself time and time again as brave, honest, and willing.

He has been ridden by a mother/daughter combination (daughter 11 years old)

He has been to weekly lessons - very good to load and stands quietly on the trailer.

Nothing seems to phases this pony. Old head on young shoulders out hacking, safe in open fields and regularly hacking on the lanes in groups. He’s completely accustomed to farm machinery, animals, and all the hustle and bustle of yard life.

He has been brought on carefully, never rushed, and is now ready to find his forever person — someone who wants a pony to learn with, grow with, and love for years to come.

I bought Isla (Robe Island Girl) earlier this year as a project after finishing university and what a pony she is! She is a lovely stamp of a Connemara, all Class 1 breeding, with plenty of half siblings out doing BE / BSJA- I am sure she could follow in their footsteps.

What sets Isla apart is her temperament- from the day we brought her home she has not put a foot wrong and is incredibly level headed in every aspect. She is totally uncomplicated and easy to handle, never sharp or bolshy, and very friendly- will trot up to you in the field, never grumpy or mareish. Easy to clip, bath, shoe, pull mane, good for the dentist etc. She is as perfect to load, travelling on a trailer or a lorry.

Dressage wise, Isla produces nice work. I have taken her to some unaffiliated dressage competitions in which she has placed and had lovely comments from judges. We have had plenty of dressage lessons, she is very willing and a quick learner, and I have no doubt she will excel in this sphere in the future.

Isla is brave and really enjoys jumping. She is unphased by fillers , planks etc and has been out to arena hires, an SJ training show and PC showjumping rallies. We have taken her XC schooling and it is absolutely her thing, she gives you a fantastic feel over a fence. She is bold over ditches, into water, up and down steps etc. It would be great to see an ambitious rider give her a competitive career.

Isla has been to PC rallies, including an all-day rally, with a young rider who had ridden her just once before. She would make a super pony club pony for a young person- she’s fun and so easy to do -and looks very smart among a crowd.

Isla recently went out with the Readyfield Bloodhounds on hound exercise among a big field of 89 and was foot perfect- sensible and unphased by people charging around her. She has been to hunt rides and fun rides and always behaves impeccably. I imagine she would make an incredible hunting pony for somebody.

She is super to hack out, impeccable in all traffic, including farm vehicles/ lorries and even a fire engine! She is good alone, not spooky, does not nap, and is not strong or silly in company.

Isla has a forward thinking mind, bold and loves to get on with a job, and would be perfect for someone as brave as she is. She would be ideal for a competent young teen or as a mother daughter share. Equally, for this reason she is not suitable for a novice, or for a young child. She is not sharp or silly, but she is ‘more go than woah’ and certainly not a kick-along.

Whilst I would love to keep her (and have been seriously tempted to!) I am going travelling and starting a full time job in the new year, hence the sale. A good home is very important, she is such a kind and gentle pony, and I would love to stay in touch, as would her previous owner.

She is up to date with vaccinations and teeth. No vices. No vet/medical history. A school is available to use for viewing and plenty of good hacking. Price includes her saddle, bridle, rugs etc and is certainly negotiable to a good home. Leicestershire

Toffee was brought over from Ireland in November 2023. He is a sweet, honest pony who thrives on attention, cuddles and fuss. His temperament, manners and patience are impeccable.

We bought him for our daughter who is just not experienced enough (she's 4 1/2 !). He was loaned to our local riding school for him to gain milage and was adored and behaved well.

He is now home and we feel he would be more suited to an older child who would like to do lots of fun, PC activities and although not hunted we see no reason why he wouldn't love it!

He has been faultless with us in traffic, leads from another horse, great with farrier, unshod and great feet. Loads and travels well and happily lives in/out. Always in a snaffle. Sadly we just feel, we need a smaller older version of Toffee.

This chap is only going to a loving, experienced home who will continue his education and reap the rewards. He is priced very sensibly and his new home is a huge priority to us as this pony has done nothing wrong.

We are Hampshire / Berkshire area.

Have videos on request.

Blaze, beautiful, uncomplicated, RDA type 13'3 piebald mare. 18 years young, in fabulous health. Non spooky type.

Ideal mother/child share (max. weight of 10 stone). Has always been unshod. Easy to do in all ways, currently handled daily by a 10 year old. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and hoof trimming.

Happily hacks out, either behind or in front, not phased by lorries, tractors, trailers, prams, dogs etc.

Happily schools in both an indoor arena (with mirrors) and an outdoor arena. Loads beautifully and has attended some local jumping classes.

Can be turned out alone or as part of a herd. A type that is hard to find. Was in her last home from the age of 5 until I bought her 18 months ago. I purchased her to be my forever pony, very sad sale due to me no longer being able to ride due to chronic illness, or she wouldn't be going anywhere.

Looking for somewhere in the region of £ 3,850, with tack by separate negotiation. Excellent facilities to try her in.

This is a very honest advert, i paid significantly more than I am asking for purely for her temperament, as I needed to be as safe as possible. Based not far from M5, Junc.22

FINN

Gorgeous little black sports cob who has the most incredible temperament ever! 4 going on 14!

Super pretty with 4 white socks. 3 lovely paces, very well balanced for his age. Snaffle mouthed for everything and the most safe, fun & easy young horse ever.

Has been out on multiple fun rides with a nervous adult rider and he was golden and totally looked after her. Happy to go in front of behind. Happy to go and pop fences on his own or lead or follow without ever getting strong or silly, even if another horse does.

Snaffle mouthed all the time. Politely responsive to the leg but not at all sharp or lazy. Exactly where you want him to make him an easy ride.

Jumps anything and everything you put in front of him. Popping round small courses and has also been xc schooling and has plenty of jump to develop while also being exceptionally easy.

Been ridden regularly by a child at my yard too who even hacks him out on his own sometimes.

Amazing to hack. Never spooky at anything including farm traffic and a spooky village. Great on and off road. Good in a group, pair or solo.

The easiest horse to have around. Happy to live in or out and no different if he’s not been ridden in a while. Super friendly and sweet in the stable. Easy to load / travel and deal with in every way.

A super delightful chap in every single way. I swear he’s been here before because he’s 4 going on 14.
