A genuine, well produced children’s pony with an excellent all-round CV, now heartbreakingly available for sale.

Grace is a beautiful Welsh B mare who has successfully fulfilled the role of a first ridden and competitive children’s pony. She has extensive experience including pony club, NSEA, showing, and has confidently competed around 75/80cm, proving willing, straightforward and enjoyable for her riders.

She is a kind, mannerly pony with a lovely temperament, used to children handling her daily and sensible both on and off the ground. Grace is equally happy giving confidence to a younger rider while still stepping up when asked, making her an ideal step-up or family pony.


She is a correct, attractive model, a real show ring type with 3 outstanding straight paces.

She is an established pony with varied experience, a safe and genuine nature and is happy and tolerant of kids playing with her.

New Forest Gelding 8 YO 14hh
Ultimate all rounder pony, proven pony club pony, previously jumping 80-90 cms with experienced teen rider but currently only doing 50-60. Would be suited to a PC, riding club, showing/dressage home.
Used to all farm machinery, traffic, not spooky, barefoot, enjoys school work, hacking (prefers hacking with company & does need leg hacking solo if novice rider),
lives in or out (he loves nothing more than being in his field with his herd, so regular turn out is a must)
Suitable as a 1.5 or 2nd pony with an eager child/teen/adult (purely due to doing excitable buck going into canter on group pleasure rides when not at the front, not strong and can be brought back to trot. This is mainly in the ‘fresher seasons’ never unseated me and I’m a novice adult rider, I manage this by putting him at the front.
He steps up or down depending who’s riding him, can be more forward/responsive with older, experienced rider, but would happily plod along in the school whilst your child understands and learns his buttons.
Great at stay away camps/shows (chilled boy), good to catch and for farrier, previously won and qualified for multiple events/shows. Up to date with feet, teeth, jabs, physio, chiropractor.
Does have mild arthritis in right hock which has been injected with artharmid in Jan 2026.
Has NEVER been sick or sorry, never been lame and only seen due to X-rays.

• Pony Club race series, consistently placed (with previous owner)
• Raced at Cheltenham and Ascot, achieving top 4 finishes in 10 competitive races during his only season

We’ve owned Rosie for 5 years and she’s been truly amazing taking both
My girls from jumping x poles to confidently flying round a 65cm course !
Rosie has done it all farm rides,clinics,camps at somerford,pony club rally’s, hacks out in company,beach rides always trying her best and given my girls hours of fun !
Very very sad sale but outgrown and far too good to become a field ornament she needs her new best friend to teach the ropes too !
Up to date with everything,barefoot and always has been,Rosie does
Need to always wear a fly rug in midge season but is managed fine with that ! Rosie is happy in or out she’s currently out with mares and geldings !
The best of homes is wanted for Rosie she is not one to be missed !
