Fantastic PC pony, very sadly outgrown.

Tiko is a 14.1hh (142 LHC), 17yo (2008) Welsh Sec D, who has been there, done that, and won many, many rosettes on the way. He’s very well known on the Scottish PC circuit, and has many fans wherever he goes. He is looking for his next wee jockey or would equally thrive as a fabulous best friend for a lightweight adult or M/D share.

He’s a SJ superstar, really looks after his rider. Previously competed at 1m+ but now happier at 90cm or below. He’s done all PC activities including many stay away camps and competitions. He’s BE registered, and has done BE80 with ease. He’s been on the Scottish Tetrathlon team for the Junior Internationals at Moreton Morrell. He’s even proven his ability as a brilliant horseback archery pony! He can get excited when going XC or hunting, so isn’t a first pony for this reason, but with a confident rider, he’s brilliant fun. Great to hack, will nanny nervous/youngsters, usually on the buckle.

He’s easy to do in all ways, he’s happy to live out 24/7, or be stabled at night, and he’s turned out with both mares and geldings. He loads and travels perfectly in a trailer or lorry. He falls asleep for the farrier! However, he isn’t a big fan of the vet or being clipped.

He’s up to date with vaccs, teeth, worming etc, and we’re happy to share his full vet history. He's just passed a 5 stage vetting, but sadly the sale fell through (no fault of Tiko's!)

He comes with an extensive wardrobe. A great fitting Cavaletti saddle (only 2 yrs old) also available by negotiation. He will only go to the best 5* home, and we, and previous owners, would like to stay in touch with this much loved pony.

Many more photos and videos on request.

A nicely bred mare with great looks and a great personality. The easiest and sweetest mare who has taken everything in her stride.

Very well handled and has had a superb steady start to life after being purchased direct from the breeder by current owners as a foal. Backed in February and has come on in leaps and bounds. Walk, trot, canter in the arena is balanced and has good rhythm. Would happily go out and do a prelim test now.

Popping around a course of fences at 70/80cm ready to go out to a competition

She also hacks out proving good with traffic, alone and in company.

She travels alone or in company

Has been out to arena hires, showjump course hires and XC schooling.

XC happily jumped everything from logs, rails, tyres, ditches, steps and water without issue

A lovely type with nice paces and honest attitude to her work.

Has been shod in front and had her first clip without issue.

A perfect project for a potential childs PC/competition pony. Lulu has shown a lot of promise to be a super allround type but with the attitude to suit a younger rider or those more competitive.

  • 8 year old coloured gelding who is suitable as a second pony

Very sad sell of our much loved Patchy (or would consider full loan (lwvtb) to stay at current yard in Oxted, Surrey) due to him being outgrown by my daughter.

Due to lack of rider he has not been ridden since the beginning of the year, so being sold from field.

Patch is a 14h, 8 year old coloured gelding who is suitable as a second pony - not a novice ride. With a confident rider he has so much potential.

We have had him for 3 years and my daughter was riding him from 9 years old. Although as he has now been out of work for many months he will need an experienced owner to slowly bring him back into work and improve his current fitness.

Great all rounder, although does prefer to hack with company and he definitely takes his confidence from his rider.

He loved his work in the school but is known to put in an excited buck when initially being asked to canter.

Good to handle and up to date with all vaccinations, farrier (currently barefoot), dentist, worming. No health issues.

Vices - he can be grumpy in his stable and is dominant with food. Once you take him out of the stable though he is very relaxed and will stand for ages to be groomed and fussed

Being sold with tack.

This has been a very difficult decision, so please only genuine interest as he will only go to the right person.

Sec D gelding looking for an experienced home where he will get some proper work and mental stimulation.

He's a clever boy who wants to do a job, and while he would carry a novice rider most days, one day he will probably make his own entertainment and deposit them. So he's not suitable for a novice, and I won't sell him to someone who thinks they can spin him and make money.

He's great to handle, load, catch farrier etc. He's brilliant in traffic. Unfazed by farm machinery. He's a snaffle mouth, and loves to hack out alone or in company.

He hates riding circles in a school, and this is where he's been soured in the past. He will buck sometimes, and certainly if you push him around in a school. He doesn't like it at all. Nobody ever explained it to him properly, and we don't have a school anyway.

He wants to go in a straight line through the countryside, for miles and miles, at any speed.

He is very sound with no health issues at all. He's been checked for the bucking - it's just him. He has had some bad relationships in past. Haven't we all! I have his full and interesting history, happy to disclose.

I've had him / know him for years, and we always got on fine with him because we let him do what he enjoys most. However I now have too many horses, and he doesn't have a job with us anymore. If he doesn't sell, I will probably break him to drive as I think he'll be brilliant and he'd love it.

I would love to find him an experienced home, where he can go hunting or do endurance or something similar. He's got a jump in him, but he might get excited and buck if you don't keep him focussed. (We have had him over a small course in a school.)

He could be perfect for a gutsy teenager, or would make a super little staff horse for a hunt. There's a job for him out there where he can thrive, and an owner who will love him even when he's a knob.

Don't buy this horse and come back to me when he's bucked you off. Buy him and then tell me what an amazing little hunter he's become.

The right home is vital for this little chap. A decent rider and a bit of work and patience will easily bring out the best of him.

12 years old piebald traditional cob mare. She would make a fabulous companion, pet and lead rein pony!

She has a passport and microchip, she is fully vaccinated for flu and tetanus. She’s up to date with teeth, farrier and worming.

I rescued her two years ago with a young foal at foot, she was in a bad way when I found her but is now unrecognisable in every sense from the horse that came to me.

She is such a special little soul and I will only let her go to the perfect home, after everything she has been through in her life before I found her, I need to know that she has found a home for life.

I ride her in walk and trot and she is a very quiet and steady ride. But unfortunately I am too tall (I am 5ft10) to progress her ridden work any further. I have however been teaching my nieces to ride on her, the twins are 6 and the eldest is 10 and all three are complete beginners. She has proven to be a brilliant lead rein pony and is very patient with them, it has been so lovely to see her looking after them.

I do have her bitless and am more than happy to explain why to anyone that is interested in her. She is very well mannered and good to handle. She happily lives in or out.

I won’t sell her unseen and homes will be vetted. She deserves to find her forever where she will be safe and loved for the rest of her days. I am in absolutely no rush, just patiently waiting for her special person to find us. And in the meantime I will continue to teach my nieces on her.

No dealers, time wasters, no loans or payment plans. Forever homes only please. Serious enquiries only.

Based East Riding of Yorkshire

I am very busy at the minute so messages are preferred, if I think you sound suitable phone calls can be scheduled.

  • Lead by children from field to stable without diving for grass

Dotty is a lovely lil pony who will step up to fast paced life, loves pony racing (has one more season in her) and will do a nice round of jumping too. She will also step down to the slower pace when asked.
She has entered a couple of dressage tests (coming first last year) and second just last week (May 2025)

She is currently in a paddock with my baby Connie and they get along really well often seen grooming each other

She is hacked out once a week and then arena work once a week currently as we are busy with new racing pony and baby Connie. Dotty is the same whether ridden every day or twice a month. She is easy going and a fairly good doer.

We feed her a small feed of pasture mix and chaff twice a day (only because we are feeding up the other two) and she looks well on that.

We usually give her 6 weeks off at some point in a year (usually winter) but this year has been early spring due to our other pony commitments. She lunges well and is ridden straight away after these breaks. She’s the same as before her break really.

Dotty is perfect on lead rein for unbalanced or loud small children (our 5 year old) and great for our confident daughter (her sole pony from ages 8-10) who has done all the above with her

I wouldn’t say she’s a first ridden though as she does step off quickly and stick her head up

This has never bothered my daughter much as after a bit of a fast walk will let her breath out and relax within 5 mins

See videos all taken within the last few weeks :)
She is up to date with vaccines back and teeth and has farrier on 29th May :) resy to go and have some fun this summer

The only “maintenance” I do as she’s older is plenty of stretches (she’s super flexible and can touch her nose right round to her ribs to catch a carrot both sides) and her hamstrings I stretch out before and after each ride. She has an “old age” supplement in her feed each morning so she’s healthy and well :)

Sadly for sale after being completely outgrown. We have owned her for 3 years, she has competed in all disciplines with us and we have had her since my daughter was a small 9 year old.

Good to do in all ways, a child can do everything with her.

She is very good on the lead rein and although we haven't used her as a lead rein pony I feel as she's getting older she may prefer this lifestyle. She is good to lead off of another pony.

She is a 2nd pony to jump as she can get speedy.

She has competed with us up to 60cm and would happily take another child from 40cm to 60cm.

She can be left days without being ridden and is exactly the same. She can be left alone while the others are ridden. Turns out with mares and geldings. Good to hack, clip, shoe, load etc

£4,000 to include tack and rugs. Looking for an experienced loving home who are willing to stay in touch as she'll be sadly missed.

11hh 9 year old grey Welsh section A mare. Fantastic lead rein pony. Snaffle mouth.

Taken part in all Pony club activities including mini camp, dressage, SJ, XC. She loves hacking and trips to the forest. We believe she would also make a fabulous hunting pony as she loved to be amongst others and is good in open spaces.

Bought for my daughter as a first ridden and she done lots on and off the lead rein with her however we are selling her as a lead rein or second pony not a first ridden as when off the lead and on her own in an arena she can put in a buck.

Not spooky or phased by anything, handled daily by a 7 year old (including loading, picking out feet, etc) would suit family with older sibling who could also go out and have some fun as she has taken part in pony club showjumping teams, with bigger jockey, as well as lead rein.

Up to date vaccinations, worming, teeth etc.

Very sad sale of this much loved pony.

Lots more photos and videos on request.

She is passported part-bred welsh and therefore would do well in any sphere. Sire is a showy Welsh B from Melau stud. Dam is a heavy well-feathered gypsy cob who has gone on to become a confident jumper and enjoys her work.

At 3, she has done basic groundwork including farrier, walking past machinery etc and has recently been introduced to the lunge. She is now ready to further her education and find her forever home.

Pumpkin is a proper cheeky chappie! Adored by everyone. He has done pony club games and really knows his job. He has started to drive so is excellent in trafic and not at all worried about things around his legs or noises behind him. He loves hacking. I say lead rein second pony because he knows he doesn't have to work in the school he won't so needs a lead or a confident rider. He is lovely in the field and happy to be groomed and bathed by children.

He has a full wardrobe including an extra western saddle which is fab for little ones!

He has had ulcers he would prefer to live out, this is where he is happiest, I don't want him to go to a home with restricted grazing.

Bubbles – Welsh Section A, 11hh. Are you looking for a unicorn disguised as a pony? Well, meet Bubbles – our wonderfully quirky, cuddly, and completely loveable lead rein legend who’s sadly been outgrown.

What Bubbles LOVES:
• Cuddles (a professional snuggler – available 24/7)
• Small humans (his favorite kind of people)
• Pamper sessions (think spa day, but with extra carrots)
• Trotting on the lead rein like a tiny equine superstar
• Walks both on and off the lead rein – he’s your trusty, plodding pal
• Hacking adventures (bonus points if there’s grass to snack on)
• Leading off a big horse like he’s head of security
• Babysitting nervous horses and ponies (he’s basically a hairy therapist for 2 legged and 4 legged friends)
• Believing he’s a Labrador – he’ll follow you around like one too!

What Bubbles DOESN’T love so much:
• Men (sorry, gents – he’s a ladies’ man)
• Cantering (he prefers a more leisurely lifestyle)
• Hard work (he’s all about the slower plans)

Bubbles is the perfect first pony for your tiny tot who wants a gentle, reliable friend. He’s a laid-back babysitter and an experienced leader of tiny human-parades. If your child wants a pony they can brush, cuddle, and trot happily around with, Bubbles is your boy.

Homes where cuddles are a daily requirement and snacks are plentiful only need apply.

Nottinghamshire | No loans | Loving home essential

It breaks our hearts to list this very special boy, but we simply can’t keep them all.

This registered black standard Shetland gelding (approx. 39”) was bought for our autistic son after a knock in confidence—and he’s been everything we hoped for and more. Kind, calm, and endlessly patient, he has gently restored confidence and trust in the saddle.

While still young, he’s got the most wonderful brain. He’s been ridden off-lead by an older child, and taken part in just about everything you can imagine—from gunfight cowboy games to picnic rides, football chaos, and noisy play sessions. Nothing phases him—he’s as spook-proof and bombproof as they come. We haven't had transport to show him but I've no doubt he wouldn't be phased.

He’s not *quite* ready to be called a first ridden due to age, but he’s got all the ingredients to become one. With the right family, he’ll go far—whether that’s as a much-loved family pony, a therapy companion, or a cracking child’s best friend.

Fabulous temperament.Good with children, dogs, and chaos

Standard size but not full-up Up to date with everything

This isn’t a rushed sale—we’re looking for a home that will truly value him.
He's worth his weight in gold, and we believe the right people will see that. We’re happy to wait for the right match.

Bought as a 2 year old as a companion now backed and ready for adventures

This cheeky pony has a lovely nature, loves a fuss and doesn’t have a nasty bone in his body

Will make a fantastic all-rounder, he’s easy to please and takes everything in his stride, unphased by new situations, it’s like he’s been in this world before

Can be forward going but is generally quite laid back without being lazy

Has been ridden occasionally by non riding kids on lead rein but wouldn’t be suitable for first ridden, needs more experienced rider due to his age and fact that can be more forward at times

He has mostly just been hacked out, will go alone or in company, also ride and lead

Good with traffic, not bothered by large vehicles

Had minimal schooling other than the basics, popped a few little logs but not really done much jumping

Loads and travels like a pro

Happy to stay on own in field or stable, currently out with 2 other geldings

Rocco is a lovely pony who loves lots of fuss and attention, he adores going for a walk.

He is fully up to date with his vaccinations and his feet were trimmed last week. He is good to handle and work with. Travels well.

Currently grazes very happily with another pony.

Rocco has been to a local Pony Club Fun Day and behaved brilliantly.

5 star home required that can give him lots of fuss and attention
