Meet Sonny, 13.2hh brilliant 1st competition pony, he is bold and brilliant with the heart of a lion and years of experience under his belt.
18 yrs young Sonny is forward, responsive, and absolutely loves his job, equally he will step down and teach a more novice child without getting hot or strong, he is not a novice pony though and needs a child with experience.
Sonny has consistently been placed in unaffiliated showjumping up to 80cm he is bold and brave across country perfect for ODEs and hunter trials.
Established flatwork with 3 balanced paces, he loves to hack alone or in company.
- Great to shoe, clip, load, catch
- Sound, fit, and in full work
- No vices, a real lovable character
We bought Sonny 2 yrs ago when my daughter was just 7yrs old, he has helped my daughter jump up to 80cm confidently competing, he is a true schoolmaster for a capable, confident rider looking to learn and win.

This is a heartbreaking sale due to being outgrown. Sonny means the world to us and will only go to a 5-star, knowledgeable home where he will continue to shine. We have hundreds of photos and videos that we can share.

A 14.1 Irish sports Connemara Pony

Sire- Capparoe Lad
Dam- Holiday Silver Bell

Dusty has the most fantastic movements: the dressage judges love him and he often gets scores in the teens and lower 20s.

In 2023, he won the 80cm Cotswold Cup championships three day event and came 5th the following year in the 90cm class. He won at BE 90 cm at Dauntsey Park and Little Gatcombe; and 5th at Chillington Hall regional championships in 2024

He has qualified again for the BE regional championships this Autumn; and qualified for the grassroots at Badminton 2025.

He’s only ever been lightly evented; as it’s had to fit in around my family life and work.

This pony has still got a huge future before him be it eventing, pure dressage or showing.

He never been lame. He is good with the blacksmith, having studs put in, hacking, loading and around the yard, etc etc.

He’s only for sale as I want another project to bring on, I’m looking for a 5 start home for this talented pony.

Braeford Osprey

8yr old highland gelding approximately 14.1

Ozzie is a lovely boy I think he’ll excel in any discipline, weather that be the open classes , young rider classes or even workers as he has a super jump on him. He has 3 balanced paces and works very well on the flat.

Has previously been shown (not with me) and always been very well behaved and come away with a placing.

He will hack alone or in company , just plods on. He sees heavy farm machinery daily and doesn’t bother.

He’s got a fabulous temperament and a very sweet attitude.

Ozzie can be nervous with new people (nothing nasty he’s just wary, he’ll do anything for a treat)but once that trust has been built , he’ll do anything for you and be your best friend.

In no rush to sell as home is paramount to me , but definitely one to watch for the future.

After much deliberation, I've decided to look for a new home for May, my 14.2, 13yo welsh sec D mare

I've owned May for the last 5.5 years and we have done BD, ODE, showjumping, arena eventing, hacking, beach trips, camps, pole clinics. We affiliated BD in 2023 and have exceeded any expectations I had. She reliably achieves high 60s at novice, recently scoring 70% and has a very correct way of going and smart paces. She is qualified for novice summer area festivals. We have recently done our first elementary scoring 64%. She’s a trier and is a dream to compete, not phased by atmospheres or spooky at flowers. She is easily managed away from home and I regularly take her out schooling or competing on my own. May is quick to learn which has been really rewarding and has enabled us to progress without being in the school every day.

She would be best suited to a home focusing on dressage, hacking, fun rides, pole clinics etc. and would carry a small adult or suit a mother/daughter share. May is fantastic to hack and she loves being out and exploring, is helpful doing gates and if needed she happily stands while getting off and back on. She is enthusiastic whilst being safe and sensible and is always in a snaffle. Our nieces have sat on her and she has been a complete angel, my mum who rides very occasionally has ridden her, she's an extremely trustworthy pony. A lot of our hacking has been on our own, often turning back on ourselves and we have seen plenty of traffic and livestock.

May has mild sweet itch which is easily managed. She is a good doer and I am careful to keep her weight under control.

I have done plenty of jumping with May but she lacks boldness and can stop once jumps are above about 75cm. For this reason I am not promoting her as a child's all-rounder.

May absolutely deserves to continue being adored and enjoying what she does. I purchased her from her breeder and know her full history. Only  5* homes will be considered.

Midweek calls after 6pm please. Messages anytime and I will respond when available.

Pebbles is a very pretty, sweet pony. I bought her in October 2024 from her breeder as a long term ‘project’ and have really enjoyed producing her in that time, she has been in no way rushed or overdone.

Pebbles is great to hack, 100% in traffic of all kinds and happy cantering in groups and open spaces. She is great to load, travel, catch and trim – she is currently barefoot as she has lovely solid feet but I’m sure she would be fine to shoe!

She has recently been out to arena hire, a dressage competition and xc schooling where she was a pleasure to take out. Has travelled alone and in company. Has seen water, ditches, steps and is not fazed by fillers.

A forward going and fun type. Snaffle mouthed.

She is now ready to find a competent jockey to produce her further and get her out competing – I cannot give her this time as I am off travelling soon.

Looking for a petite adult/competent teen to further her education, no novices / young children please as she is only 5!

I am really fond of this mare and think she is sure to be a fab little jumping pony for someone,

Full history known, her breeder would love to keep following her journey; as would I!

‘Curry Freddie’ is a beautiful young pony with so much to offer. A forward going willing type the Oozes talent.

We have produced ‘Sally’ in a kind sympathetic way meaning she has 3 balanced paces working beautifully on the flat. Naturally Sally has 3 fantastic paces and shows great potential for some fantastic dressage scores in the future. Scores 67% at recent dressage competitions

To jump Sally is bold and good with fillers she has every intention of getting her rider to the other side of the fence. Proving to be carful and enjoys her jumping. Recently has clear rounds 80cm

Now cross country schooled - bold with ditches, water and steps.

On the ground Sally is a loving kind pony who stands to be tacked up and loved. She has even been ridden by a two year old.

Overall I feel Sally has all the attributes to be a very smart event pony.

Star has been with us 10 months and in that’s time he’s been to the beach, cross country, trail hunting, showing and show jumping.

Star is the kind of pony the whole family can enjoy he will take a tiny tot over a cross pole in trot to an older rider jumping a 1.05m oxer all in the same afternoon!

Ponies like Star are so hard to find he is truly the safest pony I’ve ever known. He loves looking after little ones but can step up when asked.

He’s done well with his introduction to BS show jumping and qualified for the Blue Chip Discovery (90cm) with my novice daughter. He’s also got his clear rounds for second rounds in the Novice (80cm). He’s been to Arena UK for a stay away show and was happily dressed up for the pairs jumping with flashing lights. Star has also competed in NSEA for the school team and been successful in 70cm, 80cm and 90cm. Star has also qualified for the sunshine tour in showing in Mountain and Moreland class - the judge had super comments for him and I know he could go far in showing and working Hunter we just haven’t had time to explore this fully!

Star is great to clip, farrier, load etc and has no vices other then slightly pawing when washed and he’s getting bored. He is up to date with vaccinations, farrier and teeth, worming and has regular chiro to keep him in top shape.

Star is truly an all round family pony who loves to please. He’s happy to hack alone or in company. The only time we’ve found him strong is trail hunting but my daughter is quite slight and he clearly loves it - it didn’t stop them staying out for the full days though. He’s taken her over hedges, ditches and all sorts. They’ve had so much fun together and I know he will always bring her home safely which is the nicest feeling ever. This is a sad situation but my daughter has just grown so fast (she’s now 5ft 8 ??) and she fits her full up 148cm better sadly.

The ideal place for Star would be doing a bit of everything he loves a varied life and getting out and about he is very special

Open to any vettings etc.

Bonnie - measures just under 14.2 on the stick , 5 year old mare. Connie x cob type but breeding not recorded.
Takes the leg well so easily takes an adult (riders in pics 5’4 and 5’6).

Theres only one work to describe Bonnie and that’s easy! She’s a really super no nonsense allrounder who just does whatever you ask her to do with no drama.

She was backed at the beginning of her 4th year, lent to a riding school for the summer where she was ridden by various types of riders. Schooling/hacking/jumping. Had the winter off and went back to the riding school over

Easter and is now ready to find her own person.

Loves her hacking, goes out happily alone or in company, good in open spaces and in traffic. She’s a lovely little mover and would easily flick her toes round a dressage test with more schooling, just learning about working on the bridle and has a nice mouth.

Jumps a course of fences and not bothered about fillers/water trays. Jumping around 70/80 with plenty of room for more if wanted. Good to take out and about and isn’t bothered being somewhere new.

Done some XC schooling and just popped away no questions asked.

Really easy to have on the yard, good to catch/load/wash off/farrier (barefoot with good feet). Doesn’t mind the clippers.

Loves a fuss and a groom, can be left until last to turn out and doesn’t stress.

Clean 5 stage vetting before import.

Would make a lovely pony for any job - ‘mother/daughter’ share, pony club, riding club, hacking, fun rides. Anything you want!

Chico would be the perfect second pony for an experienced teenager or small adult.

He is my first pony and has been an amazing part of my life for the past two years. In that time we have done child hunts, many unaffiliated show jumping competitions, Working Hunter and weekly lessons. He competes very well with great success.

He hacks out alone or in company and is happy to go first or last. He’s good to catch and shoe. He occasionally takes some persuasion to load.

Doesn't need daily work; 3-4 times per week.

Happy to be ridden bare back.

Lives out Spring to Autumn and is happy to be stabled during winter

Chico is up to date with all vaccinations, dentist check & sheath clean.

Chico would be best suited to a competition home with a competent handler.

He has been an amazing pony but, unfortunately I have now outgrown him and it is, with a very heavy heart that I need to find him a new home.

Tack available under separate negotiation.

14hh | 11yrs | Welsh x Arab Gelding | Bay

If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime pony, George is it. He has every quality you could wish for in a child’s pony—safe, reliable, experienced, and bursting with personality. He has taken our daughter from a nervous novice straight out of riding school to a confident, independent rider, and he has done so with total patience, kindness, and consistency.

George is incredibly straightforward, with three lovely, balanced paces. He has previously competed across the country in showing classes with great success. With us, he’s enjoyed a varied lifestyle including beach rides, farm rides, and arena hires. He hacks alone or in company and takes absolutely everything in his stride—nothing phases him, including heavy traffic.

While jumping is still relatively new to him, he has started popping small fences at home and is showing willingness. He would suit a confident little rider who wants to continue developing this area with him, but his foundations are there.

George has a cheeky, but lovable character that children adore. He’s kind on the ground, gentle around the smallest of handlers, and has impeccable stable manners. He’s good to catch, box, clip, shoe, and stands like a rock for grooming and fuss. He’s up to date with vaccinations, teeth, back, and farrier. He can live in or out happily and has no vices or quirks.

He passed a full 5-stage vetting in 2022, which we are happy to share with serious buyers.

Only available due to our daughter sadly outgrowing him and moving onto horses.

George means the world to us, so finding him loving 10* home is absolutely essential.

This is a truly special pony who still has so much to offer his next little rider. Serious enquiries only, please—he deserves nothing less.

Johnny is a fun and forward pony and an enthusiastic ride with excellent breaks! He is soft in the mouth, responsive and listens to every aid - a real pleasure to ride.

We have done all sorts with him; SJ up to 95cm unaffiliated, Arena eventing, Clinics/lessons, hunter trials ect. He excels in showjumping and cross country flying over any fillers put in-front of him. Recently he has been to many unaffiliated SJ competitions placing 1st and 2nd proving himself ready to step up a level and start affiliated. Johnny truly enjoys his work and is careful over fences and will help his rider out.

Great to hack, clip, bath, vet/farrier (currently barefoot) and to catch etc.

Johnny has been an absolute treasure to own for the past 3 years proving to be a quick learner and willing to try anything, he is only for sale due to him being sadly outgrown. He would suit a competent teen or lightweight adult to have lots of fun with and continue his education. He needs a knowledgeable and experienced home where his rider can continue to build his confidence, therefore not suited to a very nervous or novice rider.

We have owned Johnny since he had just turned 5 and it is very important that we find the right home for this very special pony. He’s also proven incredibly brave and sensible. He adored his first beach trip—straight in the sea and loving life like a seasoned pro. Hacks out alone or in company and is unfazed by traffic. We’ve taken him up the gallops, and he’s happy to lead, follow, or ride independently—never spooky or silly.

Very sad sale indeed. We have owned Tilly since she was freshly backed and my daughter was 11. They had nearly 3 years of professional instruction and have participated in a wide-range of activities together. For the past 2 years Tilly has been stabled at my daughter's school and has participated in some NSEA events. The yard manager says Tilly is the best pony at the yard! My daughter has never jumped Tilly more than 70cm because she doesn't have the confidence to do so. Tilly has led a pretty quiet life and would be considered 'low mileage'. She has also been very well looked after. Her teeth need checking every 6 months as she is prone to sharp edges. Tilly is safe to ride after not being ridden for school holidays. The only time that she can be fresh is the first hack in Spring! Tilly has no health issues and her veterinary record is available. Tilly is a sweet mare that looks after her rider.

Tilly has never been shod as we have always been stabled where there has been sufficient land & facilities. Tilly is good to load and does prefer a horsebox to a trailer. Tilly does prefer to hack alone or to be at the front with company. She is up-to-date with teeth and vaccinations etc and is open to vetting.

As my daughter is giving up riding to concentrate on her A-Levels, Tilly comes with a Wow saddle and a full wardrobe.

Tilly is a beautiful mare that my daughter has grown up with and we know her through and through. She absolutely does have another gear so would suit either a confident child looking to progress or an experienced teen to compete.

Tilly's new home is of the utmost importance to us and we would like to stay in touch if possible. Breeding details available upon request.

Standing at 15hh, this purebred gelding is a classic stamp of a traditional working hunter type, with the depth, strength, and presence that turn heads wherever he goes. Quite simply, he is one in a million.

From the moment you see him, Dancer leaves a lasting impression. He has the most beautiful expression and conformation, with substance and balance in all the right places. His movement is straight, elegant, and correct, and he carries himself with a lightness and grace that’s hard to find. His trot is fluid and expressive, his canter uphill and rhythmical, and his overall way of going makes him a dream for the show ring.

But Dancer is far more than just a pretty face. He is also an incredibly athletic and genuine pony, with a natural ability over a fence. His jump is clean and correct, with a sharp technique and careful hind end, showing real promise for workers, eventing, or showjumping. He is super honest to a fence—always straightforward, brave, and eager to please. Whether it’s coloured poles or a tricky cross-country question, Dancer will lock on and take you over without hesitation. He absolutely loves cross-country and jumps everything he is pointed at with enthusiasm and confidence.

Dancer is impeccably bred, by the renowned Smokey Dancer, out of a mare by Smokey Idea, who goes back to the famous Mac Owen line—some of the finest old Connemara breeding, known for producing sound, capable, and versatile ponies with the brains and bone to go all day.

As beautiful and talented as he is under saddle, what truly sets Dancer apart is his kind and affectionate nature. He is one of the sweetest ponies you will ever meet—always the first to the gate, curious and friendly, and happiest when being groomed or fussed over. He will stand for hours just enjoying attention, and his manners are second to none. He’s quiet and easy to do in every way: good to catch, shoe, load, travel, and he’s perfectly safe in traffic.

He hacks out confidently alone or in company and is just as polite and rideable in open spaces as he is in the school. On the flat, he is well-schooled, goes beautifully in a soft snaffle, and is very comfortable to ride. Dancer would be perfectly suited to a competitive teenager, a small adult, or even as a mother-daughter share. He is safe, sensible, and always tries his best.

This is a pony with a big heart, a wonderful temperament, and all the talent in the world. Whether you’re looking for a top-class showing prospect, an eventer, or just a safe, genuine allrounder to love and enjoy, Dancer ticks every single box. He is open to any vetting, and we’re confident that whoever is lucky enough to buy him will cherish him for years to come.

The price includes delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK, and as always, an exchange is available if you’re not completely happy, though we are certain Dancer will steal your heart.

Valerie – Quality 4-Year-Old 14.1hh Purebred Connemara Mare, Honest & Talented

Meet Valerie, a stunning 4-year-old bay Connemara mare standing at 14.1hh, with all the traditional substance and quality you’d expect from a true Irish-bred pony. With a leg in each corner and a lovely, balanced frame, she is the ideal working hunter type – an excellent mover, straight and correct, and already riding in a soft, consistent outline. Valerie is the sort of pony that turns heads wherever she goes and impresses with both her ability and her temperament.

Valerie is suitable for a variety of riders – from a confident novice to someone looking to produce a top-class competition or working hunter pony. She would make a fantastic mother-daughter share, and she’s kind and uncomplicated enough for a riding school environment, yet talented and forward-thinking enough for a competitive home. She has a genuine nature, takes everything in her stride, and learns quickly.

Under saddle, Valerie is light in the hand, rides with a soft mouth, and naturally works into a lovely outline. She’s forward but always sensible, never strong or silly, and listens well to her rider. She’s well-schooled for her age, with excellent natural balance and rhythm, and she shows real promise for a future in the show ring or eventing world. Her paces are fluid and expressive, making her an ideal candidate for dressage or working hunter classes.
When it comes to jumping, Valerie is incredibly honest and brave. She’s currently jumping courses up to 90cm, showing excellent scope and technique. She has a brave, straightforward approach to fences and is especially keen across country – she loves it! Water, ditches, banks, and fillers are no problem for this little mare. She’s been cross country schooling and behaves like a much older, seasoned pony – brave, clever, and always looking to please.

Valerie is also a joy to hack, both alone and in company. She’s completely reliable in traffic, including farm machinery, and is happy in open spaces without getting silly. She’s easy to catch, shoe, load, and handle in every way.

She’s confident, settled in new places, and always keen to work – a mare who genuinely enjoys her job.

She comes straight from her breeder and is beautifully bred, with full Class 1 Connemara bloodlines. Her sire is Rocklawn Elvis, a proven son of the great Silver Shadow, one of the most sought-after performance Connemara stallions in Europe. Her dam’s side is equally strong, by Starsky, out of a mare by the respected Ganty Blazer – a bloodline known for producing athletic, talented ponies with the best Connemara temperament. With her breeding, conformation, and attitude, Valerie has all the ingredients to make a top-level working hunter, event pony, or all-round star.

Transport to the UK is included in the price, and we’re happy to offer an exchange if you’re not completely satisfied – although we doubt you’ll want to part with her once you meet her.

STUNNING WELSH MARE FOR SALE

Wanda is a 19yr old stunning bay mare willing to give anything a go from showjumping, cross country, showing, happy hacking to beach rides she does it all with no bucks, bronks or rears she truly is one of a kind.

We brought her back in 2021 for my daughter who had just came out of a riding school after learning how to walk trot and canter. She took my daughter who started by being all over the place in trot to jumping up too 70cm confidently at local shows.

She gave my daughter a wave of confidence and a love for riding, she is truly one of the sweetest ponies you’ll meet. When we brought her she had just come from Wales and was a bit shy to start with within a week my daughter was on her bare back in the stable reading books.
(Ps Wanda loves a good bath day)

She is extremely well mannered and can be trusted to skip out with the door wide open. She’s good to catch with a treat or two and is great with the farrier. good to lead and likes to be loaded sideways facing or with full trailer space.

She loves other horses and prefers to hack with company, but will go on her own if needs be. she loves to jump which she has a natural talent for and used to compete with her old owners in Wales.

Depending on how much work she’s doing, we usually get her hocks injected once every 6 to 12 months just for maintenance. This is truly a good wrenching sale for us as she has been an absolute gem since we’ve had her never laying a foot wrong. However, my daughter has decided she wants to attend college on campus. and will be too far away to come back and ride her and with a pony as talented we wouldn’t want her to become a field ornament as we truly believe there is someone out there whom she will make just as happy as she has made our daughter.
She would be suitable as a mother daughter share or just someone looking to have an enjoyable Pony experience.

!!! due to her being so close to our heart five star homes only!!! Videos of her can also be found with her past owners if you type her show name nebo davina into YouTube and pictures of her showing days can be found on Google by the same name.
