3-year-old spotted dun SPSS-graded Sports Pony mare expected to finish at 14.2hh.

Home-bred as a higher-level PC/RC all-rounder prospect for a competitive amateur rider or experienced teenager, but would also suit endurance, western disciplines, mounted games or showing (e.g. spotted, part-bred Foreign Breeds, Sports Pony, part-bred native, or WHP).

Widgeon Hill Ceilidh is by Highland pony Balmoral Sport and out of the ApHC-registered and SPSS-graded mare Chamfron Chipita, who brings in versatile American Appaloosa and Quarter Horse performance bloodlines (including a dose of TB).

Ceilidh’s super conformation, movement, soundness and temperament earned her a Gold award at the August 2025 British Breeding Futurity where she was the top-scoring two-year-old at the Bromyard event. She also comfortably graded into the SPSS (Sports Pony Studbook Society) main mare studbook at the same time with a superb 18/20 temperament mark, and was award a Gold Premium SPSS Youngstock Evaluation as a 2 year old, building on her Premium award as a yearling.

- Registered and passported as a part-bred Highland
- Eligible for over-stamping by the UK ApHC as a part-bred
- Vaccinations, worm control programme, and teeth all up to date
- Genetic testing: six-panel negative, and temperament gene (DRD4) G/G - "horse may be more curious than vigilant" - which is entirely consistent with Ceilidh's sensible outlook to novel objects and situations!
- Good to catch, trim feet, groom, bath, lead, tie, travel etc
- Been to several large county shows - behaved beautifully
- Well handled with a solid groundwork foundation (leading, back-up, yielding shoulders and hind-quarters)
- Used to dogs, cats, pigs and poultry underfoot
- Lives out naked 24/7, but stables happily too
- Confident by herself in stables or field - doesn't mind her friends being taken away
- Open to vet
- Ceilidh has one blue eye and one brown eye, so if you can't stand horses with blue eyes, swipe left!

Ceilidh recently came home after spending the winter living out in a mixed-age herd of horses, one cow and two pigs (!) and is now available to view. Price is sensibly negotiable to the perfect home whilst she remains un-started, but will firm up once we commence starting her under saddle, and rise as her training progresses.

Situated in Herefordshire/Shropshire/Worcs border.

Please note: Ceilidh was originally advertised as to make around 15hh. This was an error: embarrassingly, I discovered my measuring stick was not locked out to full length and was adding 2" to Ceilidh's height.... unfortunately the HorseQuest strapline is still saying 14.3hh which is what I thought she was at that time, rather than 14.1.

Email/Text/WhatsApp messages preferred for initial enquiries as I can't usually answer my phone during office hours.

This mare is a beautiful, kind, safe superstar in the making. She always turns heads, is super safe, and at just 4 years old has already achieved high 60s at BD Prelim.

Professionally backed and produced, Hope has been in the same home since she was 5 months old. Originally purchased as a companion baby, Hope has been handled and produced in a soft, quiet, and calm way. Hope was backed last September and has been lightly hacked and schooled over the winter. She went out for her first outing in March and has pleased the judges with her attitude and paces every time. Considering she still needs more balance and practice, her self-carriage, obedience, and willingness to try are just fantastic.

She has 3 lovely, active paces, with an active trot that could really be produced further, while her walk and uphill canter have always been highlights. Hope has been out in the heaviest traffic, with other horses, and never worries. She has worked over poles on occasion, and last week she went for her first jumping lesson and proved there is nothing she will not have a go at—she loved it! We haven’t schooled cross-country yet, as that is next on our list, but I am certain that with her brave personality this will be just as easy. She has been ridden by a small adult and jumped by a 12-year-old girl.

Hope is forward in a lovely way and has never bucked, reared, or bolted. She trusts her person and is always wanting to please—she is NOT your typical bolshy Welsh! She is great to load and with the farrier, vets, etc. We have never clipped her, so I’m not sure about that. She has never been sick or lame, has no vices, and everything, including her teeth and vaccinations, is up to date. She even saw the physio on 06/04/26. She has been so easy to back and work with, a real sweetheart, and looks stunning!

Hope has done her companion job and is now ready for her own little person or people to have fun with. I can see this pony excelling in any discipline with the right home—a 5-star home that is prepared to put the time and effort in. We love Hope very much, and she will only be sold to the right family.

Based near Peterborough/Stamford.

Please be specific with any questions when enquiring.

Woodview Bui is a beautiful Connemara Mare. She's simply the best! She is fabulous in every way. Beautifully schooled and produced with lovely paces.

Bui is in the ribbons every time. She is polite and calm but rises to the challenge and sparkles.

She had been Working Hunter Champion and Reserve Champion aged 4 and 5 at Peebles County Show. She's BE evented at 80 and 90 and always been in the top placings. Bui represented Scotland in the Under 18 Championships at Chillington Park. She was on the winning team jumping double clear and finishing 6th overall.

She is great to hack out alone or in company, sensible but great fun.

Bui is a really kind mare, she loves her work and tries hard to please her rider. She has a great trainable brain and relaxes into her work quickly and confidently.

Bui loves to jump and is getting better and better everytime. She's so brave and bold cross country ( but also safe!) She's never stopped or run out.

She is a serious prospect in WHP, Eventing and Dressage.

She had had 12 top 10 placings including 6th at Under 18 Championships. 4th and double clear at her 1st BE90 as a 5 year old. And never had a Cross Country fault. This season she has finished on her dressage score at both events coming 2nd and 5th. Now ready for the next step up.

Serious enquiries only as Bui deserves the absolute best home. She will be your pony of a lifetime and this sale is done with great reluctance.

Jammy is a very talented powerful 138

We have produced her and she has always been willing and straightforward to a fence. She has plenty of jump to go jump the top tracks BS equally would do working hunters as so attractive on the flat.

Works in a loose ring snaffle.

She is only for sale as we have 1 x 128 and 2 x 138s and also a top eventing pony that my daughter needs to concentrate on.

I think a lot of this pony and am happy to run her this summer so no time wasters or silly offers

Poppy - 14.3hh, 7yo registered Connemara mare

Poppy is an excellent all round and fun pony.
She is a pleasure to have around, and will be an ideal pony club, event pony, mother/daughter share or just fun allrounder!

Poppy has turned her hoof to multiple disciplines, including previously doing Pony club, hunting and showjumping.
She schools nicely in all three paces on the flat, hacks alone and in company, unbothered by all the traffic she’s seen with us and again is good in open spaces.

She loves to jump. To a fence she is an easy forward type taking you to the fence, unbothered by colours or fillers, and helps out with a stride. Shes a really enjoyable pony to take round a course of fences and shows lots of talent in this area. Easily schooling 90/1m at home.

She is a forward and fun pony, while also being sensible with good breaks. She is always snaffle mouthed. Therefore she would suit a home looking to showjump/event/pony or riding club.

Shes a lovely natured mare to have around. Shes good to catch, travel, shoe etc and is very much every teenagers dream pony. I will happily leave my friends to come and take her out without a worry.

She comes with a recent clean vet certificate and is open to revetting.
N/N for hoofwall.

It’s been such a hard decision that we’ve not come to lightly but we feel Ronnie would suit a less competitive home. Please read full advert before responding.

This stunning pony (rides like a horse) is ready to make someone very happy that would like to go hacking, beach rides, camps, training days, hunting and dressage. Which he’s done all off many times. My young daughter would like to be out competing every weekend but I feel he just finds this too much “emotionally” and freezes.

We’ve had Ronnie for nearly 3 years and love him to bits. He’s so easy to do, lives in or out (we have him living out 24/7 fully clipped) lives on fresh air, I trust leaving my 13 year old to do everything with him, that being said he’s not a novice ride. Confident knowledgeable home a must.

Beautiful paces, established in basic lateral work.

Hacks alone or in company, good with farrier, clipping and dentist. Everything is up to date.

Hundreds of videos and pictures available.

This really is a much loved pony.

POA but comes with lots of rugs/boots.

Sonny is the nicest cuddliest pony to have around — and easy to do in every way. He is good to catch, groom, clip, load, and travel, and has impeccable manners both at home and away.

Sonny is the perfect pony club pony and has all the attributes to excel as a WHP, show jumper, event pony, or quality all-rounder. Carefully and correctly produced, Sonny has been brought on slowly with his future in mind and is now ready to continue his education with his forever home. He has attended many clinics, unaffiliated showjumping competitions, and fun rides, always behaving impeccably and consistently coming home placed.

Currently jumping comfortably around 60/70cm with plenty of scope for more; he is brave and careful, and completely unfazed by fillers.

Sonny is wonderful to hack, great in open fields, and equally happy to go out in company or alone. He has seen all kinds of traffic; from busy main road to farm machinery, and is never fazed. Sonny is snaffle-mouthed and has good brakes.

He is a genuine, willing young pony who is quick and eager to learn and loves his work. Sonny will make someone an incredibly special pony and has a very exciting future ahead of him.

We’ll be truly sad to see him go but he is now ready to go on and shine with his next best friend. Due to his age, absolutely no novices — he deserves a competent rider to continue bringing out his full potential, and he will only go to a knowledgeable home.

3-year-old Welsh Section D filly | 14.2hh | Dark Bay

Sire: Horeb Eryl Rees
Dam: Nantwood Georgia (by Derwen Sea Adventure)

Athena is a quality young filly with exceptional breeding combining sought-after Gwynfaes, Derwen and Horeb bloodlines, with both sire and dam being medal winners.

A beautiful stamp of a Section D with presence, movement and natural quality, Athena has recently been shown successfully and is fit and ready for the upcoming season. She has all the attributes to excel in the show ring, but equally has the temperament and attitude to develop into a fantastic allrounder once backed.

She is an incredibly sensible, kind filly who takes everything in her stride and has proven easy to handle in every way. Athena loads well, stands quietly for the farrier, washing, trimming and general handling, and is currently shod. She has a laid-back nature in the stable, combined with plenty of expression and flash when asked to perform.

Athena’s trainable attitude and level-headed temperament suggest she will make a superb ridden prospect for someone wanting a versatile, genuine horse to enjoy across multiple disciplines, as well as continuing successfully in the show ring.

Currently on show livery with Corscaron Welsh Cobs, who are happy for her to remain to be covered by one of their stallions if desired.

Sky is a 14.2, four year old Connemara. Bred to compete at the top level, he has a half brother show jumping in FEI 1.30 Grand Prix for the Swedish pony team.

Sky has been professionally broken in this spring after being left to mature until he turned four, and he has taken to his work extremely well. He has loose jumped and is now jumping under saddle, and shows all the technique and scope to be competitive in pony trials.

Sky hacks out around the fields, and is beginning to go out to arena hires and cross country schooling. He has been produced by a professional dressage rider and will be highly competitive on the flat in the future.

Sky has shown himself to have a very good temperament, he has been straightforward to produce and has taken to his work very well. He is, however, a very young, green competition pony and as a result is not suitable for nervous or inexperienced riders. He has been trained in a professional system, and would be most suited to a competitive rider with a knowledgeable support system.

Quality, scopey Class 1 registered Connemara gelding, standing at 14.2hh, with an abundance of ability for the right home.

This is a talented and athletic pony who shows huge potential across disciplines. Given time and understanding, he has all the ingredients to become a fantastic competition pony.

He has been out to arena hires and cross-country schooling, where he has shown plenty of scope and a genuine jump. He is bold once confident and improves with each outing. He is careful, quick-thinking and naturally athletic, making him an exciting prospect for showjumping, eventing or Pony Club.

On the ground he is good to load and travel, behaving well both alone and in company. He has been sensibly produced and taken out to see the world without being rushed, and would benefit from someone who enjoys producing a pony and bringing out their full potential.

Beautiful correct Green passport 3 year old 14.2hh Connemara gelding. Class 1 bred. Beautiful head with perfect ears.

He is still in his winter woolys but his dapples are ozzing through underneath.

We have started breaking him in, he took to it like a duck to water!!! He is sweetly going forward on both reins, will walk, trot and canter!

There has been no opsy moments and he has been extremely straight forward to break in.

He is very green but phenomenal in the time he has been in ridden work. To be honest he’s that good whilst we were backing him I had a Shetland colt running in and out and a pug! He did not bat an eye.

This pony is going to be such a cracking stamp and ridden pony with more education. He has no ‘quirks’ never bucked or reared during backing very willing and straight forward. Equally would like someone with experience and who can ride to continue this. He has cracking bone and is all correct.

N/n for hoof. 5* knowledgeable homes only please.

Very sad sale.
Our very special pony Rain 14hh is for sale
We have had Rain 4 years!

Rain is a Screwbald not a piebald!

My daughter had Rain at 9 years old taking her from starting her jumping journey to winning trailblazers 2025. Winning both her classes over the 2 days and class champion.

Rain can turn on a sixpence. She's a winning machine up to 75cm.
Rain can't jump any higher than this, we have tried but she loses her confidence.

She always comes out of competitions with red rosettes any height up to 75cm.

Rain knows her job well.
She has done everything, from beach rides, stay aways, xc, show jumping and pony club.
She excels at showjumping.
She hacks alone or in company.
She loads perfect and will stand all day long

In the 4 years we've had her I've never seen a marish bone in her body, she's the sweetest mare. Making it the hardest decision for me to let her go.

She's never sick or sorry
Sadly my daughter is now 13 and outgrown her.
Everyone falls in love with her
I would love her to go to a family where I could carry on following her journey and next chapter

Good to load, clip and shoe etc

Comes with full tack + saddle made to measure

Lovely Pony Club / all-rounder type.

Missy is nicely schooled on the flat and is kind and forgiving with a nervous jockey, yet will step up a gear for a more confident rider.
She absolutely loves to jump and is very honest. Recently been cross-country schooling where she took everything in her stride, including ditches and water.

Safe and sensible in open spaces, not strong. Hacks well alone or in company.

Missy has a lovely temperament—she enjoys attention, is easy to handle, and straightforward to tack up.
Has previously had two foals.

Fantastic 6 year old, JMB of 137cm, registered Welsh section C gelding. Overstamped with CHAPS so also eligible for the coloured classes.

Carrot is very straight moving and has 3 uphill paces, never strong or silly and no lumps bumps or blemishes. Brilliant to catch, load bath etc and loves to be around people. Although he has already competed at HOYS in the open classes, he would make the most fantastic junior pony- he is well schooled and very well mannered, a real genuine pony. He is up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. He is really sweet on a showground and takes it all in his stride, he only takes 5 minutes of working in and no bother at all. Travels on his own with no issues.

Carrot competed in only 8 shows in his first season last year, where he qualified for RIHS and HOYS in the open C's as well as qualifying for HOYS in the coloured class on his first attempt and competed in both his classes at the HOYS final.

This year he has been lightly shown so far and has collected his LIHS semi final ticket, BSPS champion of champions and TSR amateur of the year tickets.

We have not hacked Carrot, however he does not bat an eyelid at wagons and traffic on a showground. We have attended XC practice, where he shows great potential over a fence and would make a lovely WHP pony also. He passed a 5 stage vetting only 2 months ago and he is fit and ready to compete. Genuine reason for sale, through no fault of his own. Bridle and rugs included

East Yorkshire based, plenty more pics on request, viewing very welcome, please call to arrange viewing, home is more important than price for this kind and versatile lad.

Absolutely beautiful 15hh 4yr old bay registered Connemara gelding by the showjumping stallion ‘Glencroft Go For Gold’ who has competed up to 1.20s and the dam sire Lightening Star x Castleside JJ Junior
Shami is the kindest boy, he’s a real sweetheart and loves people. He’s a sensitive soul who wants love and attention. He’s good to catch, load, handle, in and out the stable he’s totally clean legged and no vices.
Shami came over from Ireland last year where he was slowly and lightly started in a one to one home. He has done a handful of everything inc jumping and seen some logs etc, with bits of schooling and lots of hacking. He’s fab in traffic and goes out alone or in company.
He was turned away over the winter and he’s been back in work a few weeks proving just as easy and sensible as always.
He is beautifully put together, would make a top worker either plaited or M&M as quality for either or likewise he’d make a top class Allrounder/ riding club/ event type.
No novices as although he’s good, he’s young and we want the absolute best for him to further produce him correctly.
Up to date with dentist, farrier and vaccinations.

Good to load travel shoe clip ect she is a pleasure to have on the yard and do.

Part-Bred Connemara Gelding – 140cm – 9 Years – Potential Top Track Pony. Eye-catching 9-year-old part-bred Connemara gelding standing at 140cm on the stick shod and with plenty of foot on (would measure in as a 138)

A genuine and talented pony with all the attributes to excel on the BSJA track.

He absolutely loves his jumping and shows great scope and enthusiasm, making him an exciting prospect for a competitive rider looking to progress. With the right partnership, he has the potential to be a top track pony.

Bold and confident in open spaces
Straightforward and easy to handle
Excellent to load, shoe, clip etc
Currently shod and has been kept in regular work

He has a kind nature and a willing attitude, making him a pleasure to have around.

Ready to continue his education and reach his full potential.

We mount him from the block. He is timid to mount but no malice and doesn’t “shoot” off just tenses a little through the back

He’s a typical jumping pony , uphill way of going and forward but with further education could make a cracking event pony

We would like to find an experienced home where he could reach his potential loose jumps over 120m popping courses of 90cm with a bigger jockey (we don’t have one small enough)

Mojo is well established, with 3 lovely paces and very good lateral movements. Recently qualified for regionals in Novice Silver and Area festival at Elementary level, with plenty of potential to continue progressing through the levels (learning changes at home).

Mojo is safe, sensible, naturally forward and eager to please.

Good to shoe, load, for the vets and travelling/stay away shows, easy to handle, hacks alone and in company.

I bought her straight from the breeders 9 years ago so full history is known, she has been ridden by friends with little to lots of experience and behaves impeccably for both.

Would suit a competition family/rider on the BD circuit where she will continue to develop and excel.
