Lovely natured and very well-mannered both on the ground and in the stable.
Can be led by children without pulling for grass or dragging them. Stands calmly and quietly for grooming and tacking up. My daughters take care of him; groom, pick his feet out, tack him up, turn him out/catch in, feed him, muck out around him in the stable etc.
Good to clip.

He is happy to take a non rider around the lane/farm/in the school/over some jumps with a lead rein. Doesn't bat an eye. He is very well behaved on the lead rein.
He is well-behaved when out at events.
Stands quietly in a trailer/box or tied up with a hay net.
Star has correct conformation and beautiful movement. Three lovely paces. He always comes home with positive comments and above 60% scores in dressage tests. Frequently placed in the top 4 in showing from the initial go-around and always placed. Well-liked by judges.
Enjoys hacking and prefers company.
Will hack alone with a confident rider. Will hack without another pony if there is a human walking with him not a problem.
Never bolts or leaves company.
He enjoys show jumping and looks after his rider. He is quick and competitive, will also calmly trot a 50/60cm course and then step up a gear when asked. He is a genuine and honest jumper.
He takes confidence from his rider and can be spooky when worried off the lead rein. Nothing major, bit of a jump and look.
He is good with traffic. Good with farm machinery, cows, dogs, chickens.
Star sometimes takes time to load, other times he walks straight on. Once loaded he travels calmly and unloads without fuss. Travels on his own or with a companion.
He is good in a mixed heard turn out and geldings only.
Fiona Cork custom made GP saddle and bridle that can be negotiated separately. He will come with his rug wardrobe.
This is a heartbreaking sale of a very loved pony. Star means a great deal to us, and we want the very best home for him but sadly we are now looking for a mother daughter share and he is just too small for me.
