Beautiful Piebald Cob Mare

Beautiful Piebald Cob Mare

Ref #: 381516

£3,500 ONO
  • Cob

  • Beautifully marked
  • Dreamy mane
For sale - I am very sad to have to offer our beautiful pony, Kiwi, for sale. This is through no fault of her own.

We purchased Kiwi for my daughter, and unfortunately, I just don't have the time to give, to help her reach her full potential.

Kiwi has been with us since September 2024 and is a beautifully marked piebald, cob, with full feathers and a dreamy long mane. She stands at around 12.2 and is about 7 years old (passported but no year stated - aged by dentist).

All vaccines, farrier, dentist and worming up to date.

Kiwi loves a hack; she is not a spooky pony and is great in traffic. She loves to pop a jump and is more go then woah.

She lives off fresh air. Is barefoot. Lives in or out. Good to catch and loads amazingly alone or in company.

Fantastic for the farrier and dentist. She is very easy to keep.

We currently have Kiwi with our 23 year old gelding with no problems.

Would suit a more confident rider as she is a 1.5/2nd, but very safe. Has never bucked or reared.

Please, no time wasters. More videos and photos can be sent.

14 year old owners words; Freddie has been with me for over 3 years, I bought him as a 5 year old with not much experience. He was not handled at all in his first home and was given to my yard as a rescue, I fell in love with him and I bought him as my first pony.

I have explored jumping and he has found love for it and has so much potential. He has jumped 80 cm with a rider and can go up to 1m free schooling with much potential to go higher. He is great to groom, tack up and to be handled overall.

This is a very sad sale and has been put off for a while but I am growing out of him and feel that I need to move on. He is such a sweet and genuine pony and definitely knows how to have fun. I want him to go to the best home with an experienced rider that can have a great time with him.

It has mostly been me riding him, however other people have ridden him at times and he has been amazing. He loves to be ridden and exercised frequently but he can go a week without being ridden and will be totally fine when you get back to work. Freddie has his mishaps but will never cause any harm he just has a very busy brain and can be spooky sometimes.

He is out overnight in summer and in overnight in winter and is fine to catch. Our yard is a very busy yard with lots of horses in his field and many people around. He is great to hack and loves to have a canter! He doesn't have shoes and is trimmed by the farrier. I have never had any sort of medical issues at all with Freddie.

I haven't done much loading with him but with practice and patience hopefully he will happily load. He has little experience of loading.

I'm very sad to sell my first pony and I want the best home for him. He needs someone with patience and is and experienced rider for a forward young minded pony.

Daisy

10.3hh 16 year old Shetland cross Chestnut Mare

Sadly Daisy is looking for a new home to teach another little person the ropes. She is a loveable, friendly, gentle pony who has taken my daughter off the lead rein and given her so much confidence. I can’t fault her for all she has taught my daughter.

My 7 year old does absolutely everything with her from catching her and leading her out the field, loading her, tacking her up, picking her hooves out and she’s is an absolute saint for it all.

She has done all PC activities from games, to rallies, to going up the gallops and has never put a foot wrong. She hacks out perfectly in traffic and open spaces and has taught my daughter to canter through open fields and always pulls up. She is very forgiving to an unbalanced rider and is much more woah than go.

Regularly competes showjumping courses of 30/40cm off the lead rein and is foot perfect at shows. She is worth her weight in gold.

As we live on a farm she is used to all sorts of farm machinery and farm animals/dogs.

She is the perfect child’s pony and so easy to do, never sick or sorry and up to date with farrier, dentists and vaccinations and stands perfect for them all.

Only for sale as my daughter has outgrown her capabilities. Daisy has done her job too well! She has given her so much confidence and as her passion is jumping, she is now wanting to jump bigger courses with a bit more speed!

This is a very sad sale and a 5* home is a must but it’s time for another little person to enjoy her and have an amazing summer with her.

14hh, 5 years old Registered New Forest bay gelding excellent allrounder.

Such an old head on young shoulder’s type of pony, has a lovely way about him, everyone that meets him loves him.

He has gorgeous uphill straight floaty paces. His flat work is very good and improving all of the time. He has been to a few shows where he has qualified for the show jumping sunshine tour.

He is very laid back, would suit a nervous rider or a more experienced rider. He is 100 percent in every way possible.

He has been to cross country hirings where he behaved impeccably well. He would make a superb dressage pony/native class showing pony. Has a beautiful natural outline and carries himself very well.

He loves hacking, jumping and being groomed and excellent in the stable. One of the easiest ponies to muck out, he is super clean.

No lumps, bumps, allergies or vices. He is a very calm pony. Only for sale as we are concentrating on my daughter’s jumping ponies. He is up to date with his injections, worming, farrier and teeth.

Incredibly sad sale of a beloved part of the family; however, he is hopelessly outgrown and jockey will be starting A Levels in September so the decision has been made to find him his next family.

Roary is an unspoilt and a super genuine little cob who has been part of his family since he was 4yrs old, previous to which he had been driven.

He has brought many years of happiness having attended local shows, hunting and occasional group lesson. He has covered many miles out hacking alone and in company. Fantastic in open spaces and traffic.

Will jump anything put in front of him and can work sweetly on the flat with no bother even though his current jockey doesn’t have much interest in being a dressage diva!

Good to shoe, box, clip etc. Will only be sold to a 5* home where he will be adored for the king he is.

Ponies like Roary are far and few between and his new owner would be lucky to have him.

A true cob with an exceptional temperament and beautiful colour.

Treacle was originally a father / daughter share but due to unforeseen circumstances she is now up for sale. She has had the best start in life, not pushed and only the best ground work/ridden training.

Treacle stands around 13.3 but do not be put off by her size, she takes up the leg and has been ridden by a 5,6 lady.

She is excellent to hack, alone or in company. Good to load and travel and is up to date with vaccinations and dentist. She is barefoot and has never had any issues. Currently ridden in a TCS (total contact saddle)

Currently on livery where she is living in a mixed herd. Treacle has never had laminitis and is a good doer.

I am looking for a five star home only, someone that wants a pony to have fun on and enjoy.

She is super friendly and loves everyone. As she is still young, a knowledgeable home is a must.

Please serious enquires only as this is such a difficult sale due to a bereavement.

Registered with the AHS by TU Champion.

Performance bred with lovely polish lines.

Little Elrond has been in our family for 3 years. We have predominantly trained him up for Mounted Games, where he has done an excellent job overall. However, he enjoys a variety of disciplines and would also do well in horse ball or potentially endurance. He is forward and nippy but never strong.

Elrond has also been to flatwork lessons, arena hires, fun rides, gallops, beach rides and general road hacking. He is not silly or strong, always level headed and soft to ride which would make him an excellent PC pony or even mother/daughter share. A real fun horse with a lovely attitude to life!

No disease or lameness history, up-to-date with dentist/vaccinations/physio/saddle and farrier.

Currently wearing a full set of shoes but would also go barefoot. Open to vettings of any stage.

Hundreds of videos and photos on request. He has been much loved by us and homes will be vetted.

Ginger 14.1/2hh, 8 year old mare. Ginger is a fantastic little mare who loves her job and would make an excellent all round or pony club pony.

We took her to Richmond a few weeks ago and her first time out over XC jumps and she loved it, so bold and brave.

Currently schooling round 80/90s and is keen as can be, really loves her job.

Her schooling is coming on great but is a little green in her flat work but still aims to please, this is through no fault of her own just lack of no arena at home.

She is excellent to hack alone or in company, and is safe and sane in open spaces, not bothered by any traffic or farm machinery.

Happy in a mix herd, easy to catch and handle. She is good with the farrier and dentist.

Up to date with teeth and vaccinations.

She travels well and is happy to stand in trailer but can take a few minutes to walk in the trailer sometimes.

She is a typical mare and can pull a face but that is about it, equally loves a cuddle and will stand and be brushed/fussed all day long.

Ginger is a very special to us and finding the right home and rider is the most important thing so no daydreamers/ joy riders.

More of a second pony as she is a forward ride although always snaffle mouthed so no novices please.

Only for sale as she is sadly outgrown

Tia is every mother dream for their child to learn the ropes and get loads of experience at the lower levels. She is a stunning little pony with a huge CV in loads of different disciplines. Tia is fun and very safe, with good breaks and a lovely temperament. She can be dealt with in every way but little ones, including catching, loading, washing, tacking up and grooming. She NEVER bites or kicks, pulls away or causes any sort of annoyance.

Her absolute forte is teaching little ones and having so much fun at around 60cm and smaller. She will jump bigger at training, but is happy at competitions around 60cm.

Tia WON NSEA Championships in 2024 at Hickstead in the 40cm and also jumped the 50cm and has qualified for 2025 at 50 and 60cm. She also competed in 2023 too. Tia has done ALL PC activities, camps, rallies, competed in dressage and SJing, arena XC, XC schooling and much much more.

Loves hacking, goes first or last, and is good in open spaces. Great to be led from another horse/pony. Unfazed by traffic.

Tia just loves hunting. She had Hunted with a 9yo girl. Loves it and is great with hounds.

Loads onto trailers and lorries and travels brilliantly, alone or company. Happily stands and calmly on the lorry or trailer all day at competitions. Great at stay away shows.

Good to clip, shoe, catch, dentist, farrier.

Full history known from a 4yo as she’s always been owned by families in Worcestershire.

5* home more important than price for this much loved pony.
