Pumpkin really is a mother’s dream taking our daughter from being very nervous after a previously unsuitable pony to a confident rider taking part in all pony club activities, jumping up to around 70cm. Very little phases him, he is more woah than go, but once you know what buttons to press he can pull off a brilliant dressage test.

He will never win the grand national but we trust him completely with our daughter in an open field, in company or alone. He has 3 lovely paces, much preferring his rocking horse canter to a gallop! He can be ridden every day or once a week and will not get silly.

This is the fourth year he has qualified for PC regional dressage championships having also competed at area eventing and showjumping with his previous owner. We stayed over this year and he behaved impeccably in the temporary stabling. He has attended multiple pc camps and is happy to turn his hoof to most things. A true pony club all rounder he took the title of Pony Club Pony for the second time this year at our local show and is rarely out of the ribbons.

He is a real character and absolute pleasure to have at home. Although renowned for pulling some serious ‘grumpy pumpy’ faces over the stable door it is all for show and he loves nothing more than a cuddle and some attention.

He is our daughter’s best friend, she can do everything with him herself, plait, bath, catch, load etc but her legs just won’t stop growing so reluctantly he now needs a new little dancing partner to look after as well as he has her.

Reggie was professionally broken in last year as a 3 year old,

Reggie is a kind pony but needs a experienced rider , at this stage in his education he’s not for a tiny child or a Novice rider,

he’s a dream to hack alone or in company and in open fields , but in a arena he is a little nervous, this is easily managed by a quiet rider. He doesn’t buck and he doesn’t rear he’s just a bit nervous if you got on him all Gun Ho! After 10 mins he realises he can trust you he’s fine, but he doesn’t need to go to a novice home, he has a huge jump and I personally think he would excel in the competitive SJ world, he’s not phased by fillers or water trays ect,

He’s good to catch, brush, trim, pick feet out , can be tied up all day long and pampered , good to load and travel , no lumps or bumps and no sarcroids. He goes sweetly in an outline and is naturally very ballanced.

Sadly outgrown, Topper has been the most amazing and fun pony. He has taken my once nervous daughter from jumping 50cm to 80cm in 18 months and given my younger daughter 12 months of competition fun with lots of wins and rosettes on the way. We are now looking for a new home where he can teach another child.

He has been a regular at pony club, including camps and has been on teams for Bicton mini championships (individual winner of the area 70 class in 2024). We have done some BS including under 11s and Stepping Stones (qualifying for Cats and Pipes 2025).

He has also done NSEA showjumping, arena eventing and cross country.

He’s very easy to take out and about and is good in open spaces. We have hacked out on the moors and been to the beach and he is always perfectly behaved. The kids can do everything with him, they can tack up and ride in the arena without me needing help. He loves attention and will stand for hours to be groomed and pampered.

Good in traffic, easy to load and good for the farrier.
