15h 10yo grey Connemara gelding. Tom is the most lovely person with an exceptional personality ready to turn his hoof to any discipline and be someone’s new best friend.

3 lovely paces and a neat jump, Tom is straightforward to ride and easy to a fence, never strong or silly and always in a snaffle. Jumps round a course of fences with trays and fillers (even with small child rider!) and also loves xc being good with ditches and water etc. He has done working hunter and has RC evented up to 90cm, been unaffiliated dressage and showjumping.

Fantastic to hack and is just as happy hacking alone as in company, not at all hot in open spaces and will happily canter in front or behind in a group. Easy to load and travel in lorry or trailer and will stand quietly on the truck and at a show, easy to deal with in every way including shoeing and clipping. Has been ridden by all members of the family and lots of different levels of riders from tiny tots / just off lead rein up to confident teenagers.

Tom was originally bought for my 2 young sons a year ago as a confidence giver which he has done brilliantly but the boys have now decided not to pursue horses anymore so he is sadly looking for his perfect new home. He would not suit a completely nervous novice and although he has done that job perfectly for us on occasion we feel he would be better suited to a pony club / riding club / hacking or general allrounder home. He is a much loved member of the family and we want to make sure he goes to the best of homes.
Tom does have a melanoma and some vet history which we will fully disclose and this has been reflected in his price.

Apollo is such a laid back type that’s handled by adults & children, he loves he’s kisses and cuddles!

He is showing great potential with he’s jumping, he has been out to a few different arena hires proving very genuine and brave jumping fillers, bright colours etc. He schools well on the flat in a constant outline with a nice soft mouth.

He has also recently been xc schooling on grass and was a complete treasure jumping everything he was asked.

Great to hack out alone or in company and good in traffic and open spaces.

Apollo has been brought on slowly he was broken last year and just lightly hacked through the winter, only recently we have been educating him more, but is now ready for someone to put their own stamp on him.

He is such an easy going 4yr old definitely more whoa than go and has the potential to be an amazing event horse or a good allrounder.

Please no novices although he is extremely genuine and quiet he is still only 4 and has lots more growing to do so he does need someone to further he’s education.
