WHAT A LOVELY YOUNG HORSE!

Approx. 16.2hh, 4-year-old gelding by Dorian Grey TN Z (Dominator 2000 Z) × El Salvador (Vigaro).

A super genuine young horse with top-class jumping blood, a fantastic brain and an attitude that makes him incredibly easy to like!

Gordon has a seriously exciting pedigree. His sire Dorian Grey TN Z jumped to 1.40m level and is a son of the phenomenal Dominator 2000 Z, one of the most successful and sought-after sons of Diamant de Semilly. His sire line also brings in Chellano Z, giving him some seriously proven international jumping blood.

His mother is by El Salvador, himself a 1.45m jumper and a son of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Vigaro. His damline then goes back through Ugar Star and Joduria into the well-known Coduria family. There is quality and proven jumping blood throughout his pedigree!

As a horse himself, he really is an absolute sweetheart. He’s straight, genuine, uncomplicated and incredibly willing. For a 4-year-old he has a fantastic attitude towards everything asked of him and always wants to please.

He’s already happily jumping around courses and is proving to be very brave and naturally careful, with a lovely technique and plenty of scope. He uses himself really well over a fence and gives you a great feeling without being sharp, silly or difficult.

What really stands out about him is just how easy and straightforward he is. He has a lovely friendly temperament, is very rideable and forgiving, and doesn’t feel like the sort of young horse that needs a professional sat on him every day. He could suit almost any type of rider — equally exciting for someone wanting to produce a quality competition horse, but genuine and uncomplicated enough for a capable amateur wanting a lovely young horse to bring through themselves.

A really lovely combination of breeding, ability, temperament and rideability that is increasingly difficult to find.

A super genuine young horse with all the ingredients to make a very exciting future prospect!

BROOD MARE SCANNED IN FOAL TO GOLDSTAR FOR 2027!

Lauren (Hanleen DRB)

Approx 16.2hh 12year old mare by Hanleen Chucky Monkey who is by the legendary Chacco Blue and is out of a mare by Master Imp X Laughton’s flight who has already produced some very successful event horses/ jumpers and was a superb jumper herself! The mare is offered in foal to Goldstar, an exceptionally well-bred and proven 1.55m Grand Prix stallion by the legendary Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve. Goldstar has enjoyed a highly successful international career, winning numerous CSI2 and CSI3 World Ranking classes and gaining placings in CSI4* Grand Prix classes**, demonstrating the ability, carefulness and competitiveness of this outstanding bloodline. Importantly, he is now proving himself as a sire too, with his eldest offspring already successfully competing at 1.40m level at just seven years old.

Goldstar also comes from a remarkable maternal family. His dam Waitina (Waitaki × Ramiro Z) has established herself as an exceptional producer, with offspring including Atina, a 1.60m Grand Prix mare; Pegasus Jataki, a 1.60m Grand Prix performer; Datina, who jumped to 1.40m; and Goldstar himself, alongside further international performers throughout the family. His second dam, the Ramiro Z daughter Diva Classica, descends from the highly regarded Holsteiner Stamm 890, adding even greater depth to this proven performance pedigree.

His sire Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve competed at 1.60m level himself before becoming one of the most influential jumping sires of his generation, producing an extraordinary number of international Grand Prix horses. Combining Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, Waitaki and the legendary Ramiro Z with a dam line that has repeatedly produced 1.60m horses, Goldstar offers an exceptional concentration of proven performance genetics. With Goldstar’s own international results now being backed up by the quality and early success of his offspring, this is a particularly exciting foal for both top-level sport and future breeding.

She’s field sound but sadly sustained an injury and won’t be fully sound to return to full ridden work. Her foal from this year is exceptional and can be seen.

Vettings and viewings most welcomed

Door to Door Transport Available Weekly

This is a very difficult and genuine sale, and one we are making with an incredibly heavy heart.

We are looking for a new, loving home for our much-loved boy Berrie, a 16hh, 9-year-old Thoroughbred gelding. We have owned Berrie for the past three years, and during that time he has been an absolute sweetheart. He has always looked after us and has been a truly special horse to our family.

We have mainly hacked Berrie during the time we have owned him. We know that Berrie has previously enjoyed jumping, fun rides and other activities, and we believe he would really thrive with someone who can give him a job and keep his intelligent mind occupied.

He is currently kept at home with a pony companion. When hacking alone, he is a real plodder and can lack enthusiasm. He is great in traffic and a very sensible horse, super safe and sweet.

Berrie is a very intelligent horse who learns quickly and has so much potential for the right person. He is good to shoe, box and catch, and has a lovely temperament.

He has also recently been vetted for rehoming and given a clean bill of health, and is now ready for his next chapter and a new adventure.

Sadly, with our daughter due to start college, she no longer has the time that Berrie deserves. After a lot of thought, and despite all the love and care we have given him, we have had to accept that we simply cannot provide him with the life and work he needs to truly be happy.

This is an extremely difficult decision, but Berrie’s future and happiness have to come first.

We genuinely believe that someone will be incredibly lucky to own this special boy. He deserves a loving, experienced home where he can have a purpose, continue learning and enjoy everything life has to offer.

Tack available separately.

THE ULTIMATE RIDING CLUB / AMATEUR SCHOOLMASTER

Billy Otto

16.1hh | 12yo | Gelding

Billy Congo × Amulet

If you’re looking for a quality, experienced horse who’s been there, done it and knows his job, but is equally happy to step down and enjoy a varied life — Otto could be exactly what you’re looking for.

A very well-bred gelding by Billy Congo (Vechta × Animo Elite), out of a mare by Amulet, combining some lovely proven jumping bloodlines.

Otto has successfully competed up to 1.20m level, with a very respectable record and plenty of wins under his belt. He has all the experience there for someone who wants to be competitive, but we think he could be absolutely perfect for a capable amateur wanting a quality horse to enjoy at riding club level.

Otto has been in the same home for the last four years and is only now looking for a new home after his rider unfortunately had a bad accident last year and has made the difficult decision to cut back on riding.

He’s a really lovely horse to ride — easy, uncomplicated and rides beautifully on the flat. He’s good to hack and generally a very straightforward, enjoyable horse to have around.

We could really see him making a super riding club/all-rounder, mother-daughter share or quality amateur’s horse. He’d be great fun for hacking, lessons, clinics, camps, sponsored rides and lower-level competitions, while having all that experience there if his rider does want to be competitive.

He’s the sort that has been there, done it and got the T-shirt and could give someone an awful lot of fun.

We have been told that if he hasn’t jumped for a while he can occasionally be a little spooky at a fence, so he wouldn’t be one for a complete novice, but once he’s back in the swing of things he knows his job.

He is exceptionally clean and correct, completely sound and barely has a mark on him — a real credit to his previous home.

A smart, genuine and very useful horse who still has plenty to offer. We think he could be a fantastic fun horse for a capable amateur or riding club home wanting something quality, experienced and competitive.

Bosco - Kildromin Bosco. Reg Connemara gelding, N/N

Absolutely top class pony that will suit both the flat ridden classes or working hunter

Bosco is the most beautiful stamp, a real traditional type with plenty of bone and correct confirmation.

He’s xc schooled around Somerford & Kelsall proving to be bold and braving jumping ditches/drops/water/hedges ect

He’s also done some unaffiliated jumping going double clear and taking it all in his stride.

He really enjoys his jumping and takes you in to a fence, he’s got a real pop over a jump and we really think he would make the most amazing m&m whp!

Happy to hack alone or in company and has been good in traffic.

Really lovely temperament.

He rides really well in the arena however can be sensitive if his rider isn’t well balanced, so he will need a capable rider, absolutely no badness just young and gets a little worried if he’s unsure.

With his colour he’s very eye catching and is sure to be such an exciting prospect for the future!
