Our much-loved Strinesdale Genius, or we called him Sir Strabilante Cavallino (mind blowing pony), is looking for his next little person. Strabilante is a true 138cm show pony with a long and proven record at a very high level, but far more importantly to us, he has been an absolute dream to own and has looked after our daughter, Harriet, beautifully.

Strabilante is the sort of pony who is increasingly difficult to find: beautiful, established, experienced, exceptionally well mannered and genuinely kind. He knows his job inside out and has given Harriet some of the most wonderful experiences of her childhood.

Strabilante has competed successfully throughout the UK and Ireland with several riders. His career includes Royal Windsor, HOYS, RIHS, Balmoral, Dublin Horse Show and the Northern Ireland Festival, alongside countless championships and wins at county and affiliated level.

Aurelia has super showjumping potential, very honest and never misses a jump, and would be particularly exciting for a capable young rider making the move from ponies onto horses. Nellie has been on beach and moorland rides & enjoys being out and about. She is hacking alone & in company, regularly ridden in traffic and open spaces. Nellie travels in the lorry & trailer alone or in company, she has always been the same horse at home or away.

She is a versatile young horse that could suit such a variety of riders; a competent teen, parent child share, small adults, riding club or eventing, the list goes on…

Nellie boasts outstanding Irish Breeding - Having had multiple offspring by her stallion and actively seeking to source more we are always delighted with their trainability and temperaments as young horses.

Mickey has been out on hound exercise with The EDH and was faultless. Completely unphased by his surrounding. We will continue with autumn trail hunting until sold. He has Hunted in Ireland and attended Charity Rides.

He has been XC schooling with us and gave us 110% to everything we have asked of him. He is a big kind horse that has been produced with longevity in mind. He hasn’t been overproduced but what he has done he has shown plenty of willing!

He is hacking alone and in company, regularly ridden in traffic and open spaces. Has been to the beach multiple times and has given us really enjoyable rides. Loads and travels well, alone or in company, and is the same horse at home or away.

Mickey is good to handle and deal with day to day. He is a friendly person with a kind temperament.

Mickey wouldn’t suit a complete novice or overly nervous rider, this is no reflection of him but he’s a big young horse.

A smart, eye-catching pony who has been an excellent first/lead-rein pony for my now 5-year-old daughter.

Herbie was bought as an unbacked 3-year-old in 2024. Since being backed he has taken everything in his stride.

Herbie and my daughter have shared many successes and experiences both in/out of the show ring.

He regularly attends Pony Club rallies. Has completed a 3-day Pony Club camp, where he enjoyed show jumping and games.

He is not spooky at fillers nor when faced with a rider carrying a large waving flag.

He is always willing to have a go at what is asked of him.

My daughter has hacked him off the lead rein and he has also been led from another horse.

Herbie is a responsive, light-in-the-hand pony who is a pleasure to lead.

Herbie is easy to handle and work with, regularly handled by my children, aged 5 and 7, who brush him, pick out his feet, bath and generally fuss around him.

Lovely to take out, relaxed in transit and happily stands on the lorry or trailer. Does not need lunged, ear plugs or calmers.

He is accustomed to a busy family and farm environment, including lorries, heavy machinery, quad bikes, chickens, dogs, and small children.

He enjoys hacking and has attended several common rides.

Good with the dentist and farrier (currently barefoot), and good to bath and clip.

He is a fantastic little pony with a bright future ahead of him and will be a wonderful addition to the right family.

Only for sale as my daughter is moving onto her sister’s pony, sadly, we can’t keep them all.

Top class Shetland with loads of scope and very true to type.

Lovely natured and easy to do in all ways. Recently broken and goes beautifully on the lead and rides around the place off the lead rein just needs further education in the school.

Masses of bone. Won many times in hand in excellent company and has been ridden around at shows and not phased at all by the atmosphere .

Fantastic prospect for next season especially the HOYS non Welsh Lead Rein.
