Cali is a beautifully put-together 5-year-old Irish Sport Horse mare with a kind nature, a super attitude to work, and a bright future ahead of her.
She has begun her education in a careful and sympathetic way,, showing great promise in a range of disciplines. Cali has experienced a variety of environments, including XC and SJ schooling off-site, local in-hand and ridden showing, dressage outings, and fun rides – all of which she has taken in her stride with enthusiasm and maturity.
She has competed in a handful of WH and showing classes , 2nd on every outing 85/90cm. She’s also done clear round Sj classes up to 90 and was foot perfect each time .
She hacks out confidently alone or in company, is good in traffic, and is used to a busy farm setting, including tractors, quad bikes, and other animals. She’s happy to lead or follow and is sensible in open spaces.
Cali has begun working nicely in the school with three attractive, balanced paces and is improving all the time. She’s a beautiful mover, snaffle-mouthed, and never strong or silly. She jumps with care and confidence, tackling fillers and water trays with ease. Naturally talented across country, she’s bold, willing, and has previously hunted in Ireland.
She is currently competing at 80cm/90 with plenty of scope for more . Cali clearly has the scope and potential to progress up the levels in eventing, showjumping, dressage, or working hunter.
On the ground, Cali is an absolute pleasure – easy to handle with lovely manners. She’s good to catch, lead, bath, shoe, and is polite in the stable. She has travelled in a trailer, 3.5t, and large lorry, and happily turns out with mares and geldings.
Cali is a quality young horse with an ‘older head on young shoulders’, but she is still only five and will need a confident, competent rider to continue her development. Not suitable for novices, but she would be a fantastic competition prospect for an ambitious rider looking to bring on a talented horse, and would also make a lovely mother/daughter share.
If she was a hand taller, she wouldn’t be going anywhere- she’s dearly loved and we want her to find her a perfect home.
