We have the pleasure of offering for sale our superb ISH gelding, 5yrs by O.B.O.S Quality 004 x Limerick (Lancer 11). He has world class breeding but is easy to do and a pleasure to ride and have around.

We’ve produced him slowly this year as he has grown into himself, giving him time to find his balance and technique for jumping. He’s a quick learner and well established now on the flat.

He recently went to the Young Horse Howden Way training with Chris Bartle, and received great feedback for his jumping and flat work.

He has been out to unaffiliated eventing, going double clear, and several arena hires including cross country schooling, BS BN and Discovery (ticket), and most recently competed in the BYEH Series (Burghley Young Event Horse) with great marks for dressage, jumping and gallop.

He is a horse with huge potential, he gains admirers wherever he goes, and is flashy with tons of scope. He is suitable for a competent amateur / young rider and would be ready to go out and enjoy for the rest of the season. He has plenty of ability to go up through the grades in either BE or SJ.

This home bred young mare is bred in the purple for dressage but would also event. She is graded Premium by her breed society and was Champion of her grading so will be a top class breeding prospect once her competition days are over

She benefits from gold plated dressage bloodlines on the sires side - Helium / Millennium / Easy Game (sire of TSF Dalera - multiple medal winner). Her dam was a successful 3* eventer herself by a 4* and Olympic team stallion.

She did her first unaffiliated dressage competition and came away with a win and a 2nd both with well over 70% and she is now registered for BD and notched up top placings in her first outings. Her first BD outing resulted in two wins with 69 & 71% (qualifier), followed by another outing where she claimed a win (70% qualifier) and a second (picky judge who deducted 2 points for taking more than 45 seconds to enter after the bell!) - A recent outing to Solihull saw her exceed the necessary points for a Prelim Regional Finals ticket with scores of 67%+ and 70%. At the Regional Finals she was placed 8th out of a big 'silver' class (approx 40) with only 2 points between her and the winner. She has been awarded a wild card to the Nationals given this result so we will see what September brings.
She has now moved on to Novice as is working well at that level with the aim of getting to the Pet Plan championships this year. Her first outings at Novice have resulted in a plethora of second placings with scores over 65% up to 69%+ - not bad for a newbie! At a push she could qualify for the BD Novice Regionals but we will not campaign her at that level just yet and leave it at the Pet Plan Area Festival. The Area Festival brought a very welcome result in that Burundi was a very close runner up (pipped by 0.2 of a point) at Novice Silver and has therefore qualified as of right for the PetPlan National Champs in October

She loads well , travels like a saint and will stand in the lorry all day without fretting even when her mates are put in or taken out. Good on the road and to hack generally alone or in company. Easy to do in the stable - clip, shoe etc - or to handle from the ground. More importantly she is a really sweet and affectionate horse.

She is responsive and forward thinking to ride so is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider. This is a real opportunity to buy a world class horse at a reasonable price.

She will go to the top for an ambitious and experienced amateur or a professional rider. She would also temperamentally suit a confident Para rider. Please note that video was taken at the Regional Champs this year.

He will wait patiently at roundabouts or traffic lights and never reacts with fear or tension. On open ground, he stays composed at all paces, whether leading, following, or riding solo. He never pulls, rushes, or attempts to overtake—even when returning home.

His exceptional manners extend to every aspect of handling. Buster is easy to catch, groom, bath, load, clip, and handle for the vet, dentist, and farrier. He currently lives barefoot but has previously been shod and is comfortable with either. He stands quietly for long periods without any restraint, happily enjoying being groomed and pampered. Children regularly lead and handle him without issue, and he will calmly stand at the mounting block until the rider is comfortably in the saddle, regardless of how long it takes.

Buster is a genuine confidence-giver who can be left unridden for weeks or even months and still be safe and consistent when brought back into work. He is incredibly low maintenance.He has never suffered from laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or lameness, and has passed all annual riding school inspections with flying colours (equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting).

He currently lives out at night in a large mixed herd and stabled during the day but is equally content stabled or turned out full time, he is happy to be stabled / turned out solo, he is not clingy at all, he absolutely loves people and attention and adores a cuddle. He is quiet, independent, and never causes trouble in the field or stable. Buster could excel at low-level competition, fun rides, beach rides, or simply continue to be a safe and enjoyable hacking partner.

This is a heartbreaking sale, as we regularly rotate our riding school horses to offer them the chance to experience one-to-one private homes. Buster is truly one in a million, and he deserves a five-star home where he can continue to be appreciated for the wonderful horse he is.
