Bertie is a good looking all rounder, who has show jumped to a good level with multiple wins at 1:30 and placing at 1:40. won and placed with professional and amateur riders.

Bertie was bought for my daughter to event, however, although winning twice this season as he progresses at the levels, he is too careful making jumping the bigger Courses a problem!

He does not like to even touch a twig. He is schooled to a high-level on the flat and is easily good enough to do pure dressage he really is an amazing horse.

Peppa is a great all rounder, has competed up to elementary in dressage, BE90 eventing and discovery in BS. She has £208 of winnings showjumping. She is snaffle mouthed at all times and is a responsive ride. She is great to hack alone and in company (often babysitting greener horses) and isn’t bothered by the heaviest of traffic.

She is good with the farrier, to load and will happily stand on the lorry all day.

She is from Clover Hill lines and is the typical stamp - loves to jump whatever stride you are on! Won the British novice and discovery on her last outing!

We have owned Peppa for the last 5.5 years. She has been brought on to event but is now ready to progress up the levels of British Showjumping. She is established in her flat work and could do equally well in British Dressage.

She is great fun cross country, but unfortunately not consistent enough over ditches to be competitive in British Eventing, which is the only reason for sale.

Peppa is an uncomplicated and all round nice person to have around. She would make a perfect mother/daughter share or horse for a competitive amateur.

If you are looking for a horse to hunt, hack, cross country, fun ride, and adventure with, Dermot would be your match.
For the past 4 years I have hacked, hunted, been on fun rides, hunter trialed, taken Dermot to the gallops and also a couple dressage tests.
Dermot is perfect to hack, I have never had any issues. He’s a normal horse, if there’s a tractor he will need a good kick to walk past. If there’s a bridle way he will get excited and jog about, sometimes he even squeals! I love this about Dermot, but I understand it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I just want to be honest.
To hunt Dermot is a dream, he stands at the meet. But once we start he is strong, does not buck or rear he is just strong! He’s a big boy! Once the field master stops, Dermot stops. I think he has done a lot of hunting in his life, he knows more than I do. He looks after me, I feel safe hunting Dermot!
Dermot is the same with fun rides, strong. But safe, and great fun!! If you ask Dermot to walk he will walk. He has never taken off with me, he is just strong once you get going.
I keep Dermot at home, with one other horse and 4 sheep. I handle him myself everyday, he is great on the ground. To shoe, clip, pick feet out, tack up, rug up, plait for hunting you name it, he will stand perfectly.
He loads well, no issues. He stands in the trailer, no issues. He unloads the trailer, no issues. He is great to deal with when we go to outings. This I think is important and love that I don’t have to worry about him playing up.
He is a brilliant horse, amazing character. After he finishes his dinner, he throws the bucket out his stable door. I think he wants more! He does not need hard feed. For the last 4 years he has been on a pinch of chaff a day. He’s a good dooer as some people say.
I can jump back on Dermot after not riding for a month and he is no different. This is the reason I am selling Dermot, I have fallen out of love with horses as a hobby. Dermot still has life in him, and he can go and give someone else what he has given me for the last 4 years.
Dermot has arthritic hocks, being 15 this is not uncommon. I have done steroid injections, this works well. Only required once or twice a year, depending on how much work he’s in.
There is so much I could write about this horse. He’s pretty cool! Happy to answer any sort of questions. My main priority is to find Dermot his new best friend. They will be very lucky!

Gentle giant he has the most laid back temperament by far an old head on young shoulders. Takes everything in his stride, jumping a small course of fences show jumping and cross country. He hacks out alone or in company not phased by new surrounding he always comes out with a laid back but willing attitude to life. Sheri is a 16.1 ISH mare who has been with us since a 3yo. This is a sad sale of a gorgeous horse who was a pleasure to bring on.
