  • Kind, genuine, still game.
Looking for a Smart, Kind, Gentleman Ladies horse.

A trainer's yard favourite with presence. 16'2/ 16'3 Older horse, chunky type old-fashioned Thoroughbred gelding for trail hunting only for 2/3 hours on nice days with good ground.

Must hack alone and be good to handle.

Due to a serious back/pelvis injury, days of jumping and riding the flighty sharp ones are over; however, do still like to run on with plenty of blood.

Don't mind busy or strong and happy to introduce the right horse to Trail Hunting, if the horse hasn't.

Would suit a horse that has lost its bottle jumping or a slower life through injury ( any rehab needed) / age. Happy to travel.

Trained own P2P in the past, very experienced and open-minded. If you think you have something that may suit, please send a message.

Harry is a lovely 16.2 bay gelding by Court Cave who is by Sadlers Welis.

He got 3 good paces and he's nice to school.

A real Gentleman who wants to please.

He hacks out alone and in company.

He has hunted but I don't think that's what he should be doing.

He has got a nice jump and he enjoys his jumping.

He does enjoy his cross-country.

He would be a lovely horse for someone who wants to do a lot of clinics and riding club shows etc.

He is good to box, shoe and clip. Up to date with vaccinations and teeth.

Chief 16.1hh - Lovely stamp with a superb presence. 8 year old, bay ex racehorse

Absolutely beautiful in every way, movement , looks and temperament this gentleman has it all!

Hacks out alone or in company, happy to lead or go behind. Perfect lead horse just gets on with his job! Forward but safe, can have a jig jog.

3 balanced paces, and works beautifully, really floaty and so effortless! Would excel in a dressage arena.

Raced over jumps, and LOVES his jumping, is very bold with a very willing fantastic attitude , nothing fazed him, fillers , water trays , planks , super bold and careful will get you out of any situation.

Been to arena hires, and behaved impeccably going round a course of 90cms even at a trot, very scopey, bit green around a course but a very quick learner and never refuses. very careful over poles.

Would suit an ambitious amateur or competent teenager looking to do more, chief just wants to be ridden and enjoy himself, he needs a job and happiest when out and about.

Very bold! And so professional, bombproof in the heaviest of traffic! Crosses A roads, cars and trailers not an issue, perfect with farm machinery working right next to the arena

Good in open fields; will walk, trot or canter whatever you ask him to do. Go in front or behind.

a really fun horse with heaps of potential

a lot of fun and very eye catching

Chief is ready for his first dressage test and booked in for his first xc,
He has also been hunting, stood at the meet, perfectly well behaved to have a drink, a little impatient when you get going and just wants to keep his feet moving, not a ready made hunter but would come in time. He did hunt in a snaffle and a flash noseband. He wants a home he can go out and do a bit of everything, jumping, dressage, XC, the lot! He loves it all!

Please note he isn’t a novice ride, he is always safe, but does have a jigjog, always snaffle mouthed but needs an experienced/confident rider who enjoys a horse that wants to work and have fun, he is quite a sensitive ride, he doesn’t want someone that’s got heavy hands or heavy on the leg, he is willing to please.

Can be seen to windsuck in the stable which is reflected in his price. Never bites or kicks or pulls a face, he is a very friendly person, no injuries, this horse is wanted for nothing, he is very well loved.

Super sweet happy hacker

  • Loves nothing more then being pampered

  • Grey
  • Gelding

  • Very kind temperament
  • Great hack
  • Loves nothing more then being pampered

Looking for a new FOREVER home.
Frankie (Land Bank) 16.3hh 17 years young.

I will be incredibly particular as to where Frankie goes, a 5 star home is a must and references gratefully accepted, he is the kindest and most sweet natured horse who deserves nothing more than love and affection. I’ve owned him since 2016 but he has been out on loan for the last 4 years due to a change in my circumstances and wanting to find someone who would have the time to give him the love care and attention he deserved and at the time I wasn't ready to completely let him go. Sadly the elderly lady who had him battled with illness and has since passed away so he has since come back to me.

I’ve had Frankie back for just over a month now and due to his previous loaners sad circumstances he wasn’t in the best of condition when he arrived back with me so I have been slowly getting him back into work and feeding him the correct food and he is already looking much better and getting back on track. I have had Frankie for the purpose of hacking and low level flat work/showing we have competed in ROR classes in hand and ridden always had a wonderful day out and if we got a rosette it was a bonus! I have not jumped him as it never interested me nor am I confident so I don’t wish for him to start this now. I would ideally like to find a home in the South West so I can stay in contact with his new home and receive updates and possibly visit from time to time.

Frankie will come with a full and extensive wardrobe of freshly washed and re proofed rugs with detachable necks (pretty much every weight combo) stable rugs/sheets, fly rug, fly masks, black English leather saddle/ Merino wool Half Lined GP Numnah, grackle bridle with a Neue Schule snaffle + More. I never skimped out on his attire so they are good quality and well looked after.

The good bits - Frankie is an absolute sweetheart he loves nothing more then being pampered and will stand being fussed for hours, he is good to ride never nasty or strong, snaffle mouthed, goes by himself or in company however you need to be competent as he still needs "riding" - it’s not a case of just sitting there like he’s a kick along cob and every horse could have a moment now and again. Good in traffic, he is great to shoe and since Covid he’s only been shoed on his fronts, when being clipped he basically falls asleep, having his teeth done never makes an issue of it, loads and travels fantastic in a trailer or lorry. No horse is truly bomb proof so I will not use that term but he’s pretty special and comes close and absolutely deserves the world. I have many people that would vouch for him and his gorgeous temperament. He’s low mileage for his age I’ve never pushed him and just enjoyed having a sweet horse to play around with, I wish circumstances were different and I could keep him forever but I have to be realistic.

The not so good bits - Frankie has a tendency to wind suck after food or being given treats over the stable door, likely to have been picked up during his time in racing. It’s never been an issue for me and has never worried anyone who I’ve been with at livery yards as it’s only minor. He has a slight splint on his near fore which has never caused any lameness. Frankie also has an enlarged thyroid - A Goiter, this is not uncommon in older horses and has caused no concerns.

This is a sad sale of a wonderful horse that I am just not in a position to keep.
£3000 with his whole wardrobe included. The perfect home is ABSOLUTELY essential I am in no rush to sell him and believe the right person will come along at the right time.

Teko has been to lots of training days, shows and stay away camps, he always behaves impeccably, stands on the lorry, warms up beautifully in busy warm up arenas and never gets hot or silly.

Fifty Shades Of Bay By name , Fifty Shades of pure legend by nature!! What a mare this girl is - 16.1hh , 7yo

50 has had a good race career and offered as a general riding horse or a strong candidate to go back into racing. No injuries or ailments , owners circumstances forced her to come out of training. Does have a superficial scar to back leg - of no clinical significance or concern

50 is kind in all ways. A very sweet and loving little mare who wants nothing more than to please . Currently ridden by enthusiastic teenagers and handled by a range of capabilities daily. Lives in or out , loads and travels well, great to catch , no stable vices or undesirable behaviours. Can just pull a harmless face if you try giving her a kiss infront of her mates, she gets very embarrassed.

This is a real event prospect or top level all rounder type. Stunning on the flat, three very correct and attractive paces showing nothing but ability and pure class. Snaffle mouthed , forward thinker with all the desirable mannerisms. Established level of flatwork, has her simple changes and basic understanding of lateral work. Without doubt she’d get some very good scores inside the white boards. Equally very exciting prospect for the ROR classes

50 is one hell of a jumper. I think this mare would be a super consistent and reliable type around a set of show jumps. Keen and committed , sensible and bold , with naturally neat technique informs and behind! All the desired attributes and solid foundations to be a real special little mare with another successful career ahead of her

She’s our star pupil out hacking. Currently giving the breakers a lead and being a great nanny for them. Bold as brass in the heaviest of traffic , good in open spaces , always constantly a reliable ride for everyone on the yard. Stands at the mountain block etc - a very straightforward and exciting ride for someone capable

As much as I think she’d be kind enough to tolerate a competent novice , she has a switched on brain with an engine and therefore would want someone to her justice and do a nice job with her so looking for competent and experienced new home

No loans or payment plans
Delivery available
Vaccinated etc to date

River , 16.3hh, 8 year old bay gelding, SUPER EVENT PROSPECT! Will go all the way in the correct hands

  • Been to dressage comps, show jump clear rounds, team chased and hunted

River , 16.3hh, 8 year old bay gelding, SUPER EVENT PROSPECT! Will go all the way in the correct hands

River has been slowly and correctly produced, gaining his scores in his unaffiliated dressage tests, never scoring below mid to high 60%s in his dressage. Qualified first rounds SEIB trailblazers championships, ready to qualify second rounds in the next week. Just moved up to Novice level dressage and ready to affiliate.

River has been to numerous arena hires, popping round courses of 90cms and 1m with ease! So
Much scope to go up the levels, he has also been to arena eventing hires a few times and lots of XC hires (sommerford park a few times, rectory farm park and Swalcliffe Ec).

River has team chased, (didn’t even have a cavasson noseband on, just went round in a snaffle with minimal tack) nothing fazing him, hedges, ditches , water, steps etc, he has also hunted over some big country and attended numerous ladies days where he has been impeccably well behaved and learnt to settle on a hunting field.

River is a horse that needs a job, he loves going out and about , and it’s never too much to ask , he would go out every day to do something if he could! At competition venues he is an absolute pleasure , calm and easy to handle, warm up arenas no problem, and just delivers every single time.

River is fit and ready to go, I would love to see someone continue to produce him and further his education, stepping him through the levels in any discipline.

A bit of background: Finished racing December 2022, only ran twice so very low mileage
Had some few months down time after racing.

So this horse is something very special, a real head turner and such a pleasure to deal with! he also absolutely loves a fuss! A real life teddy bear

Great In open spaces, always snaffle mouthed, Hacks alone ( although can take some encouragement if he is nervous of something) or in company, good in heavy traffic, fit and ready to go , very well schooled, works in a beautiful outline, 3 balanced paces, very flashy and uphill movement.

Done Pub rides(stands whilst you finish your drinks)

Good to box, clip (although a little ticklish in some areas!) and shoe, up to date on shoes and vaccinations up to date and just been wormed.

Has had a wind op, after his first race doesn’t affect him in anyway.
Retired sound no injuries. However, has been seen to weave invery occasionally when stressed/ not getting enough work/ turnout
(Soon settles and isn’t constant only at times of high stress) and this must be a handful of times I’ve seen this over the past year and a half!

Turns out alone or with others (mares and geldings)

River is one I would keep for myself as we have spent a long time producing him, but I have too many horses and I can’t keep them all, he will make such a fantastic horse for someone

16.2, 6 year old, bay gelding. Fantastic attitude, enjoys his work, learns quickly and willingly.

Last point to point May 2024 and has adapted extremely well in the last year to his new life. He has been to his first dressage show and has recently been introduced to coloured fences. He will jump a small course calmly and neatly. He is not fussed about any new fillers.

He has 3 good paces and is working nicely on the flat, showing real potential. He loves his jumping.

Light snaffle mouth.

Great to hack alone, goes boldly and calmly everywhere. Brilliant in traffic, with bikes, dogs, farm machinery etc.

Good bone, good feet.

Good to shoe, loads and travels well in lorry or trailer. Turns out happily with mares or geldings.

Not stupid if not ridden for a few days - but loves to work.

No "ifs" or "buts", just a really nice young horse. Only for sale as I have recently decided to retire from competition and he is now ready to start his competitive career.

A very handsome schoolmaster who is looking for a new home as has fallen out of love with pointing. May suit under rules or can go off and do ror. Fantastic jumper and has taken a novice round the last 2 seasons pointing!

Very easy to train goes on his own or in company. Ridden in a snaffle. Can be a bit spooky on his own nothing nasty just typical Tb. A 70yr old rides him regularly! Has been to the moors hacking and seen coloured poles. Will continue to progress with him.

Loads/ travels well and will stand in the box quiet. Great in heavy traffic. Easy to do in all ways is just a bit ticklish to clip. He deserves the best of home has led all my youngsters out and i rely on him an awful lot.

He has been hunting a couple times. Up to date with vaccinations, passported and microchipped. Fresh set of shoes on. Never sick, clean legs. Very sad sale of this very loved horse. Last ran easter Monday.

Does occasionally windsuck. No time wasters please or dealers. Text for more photos/ videos.

Aussie is a gorgeous and gentle 17hh ish ex racer. Retired from racing in 2023.

I acquired him in late April in a very poor state but has now put on a great deal of weight but will still need further conditioning.

He has been wormed, vaccinated, teeth and physio. All with no issues!

We have done sporadic hacking, cattle mustering, arena schooling over coloured poles, beach rides but mostly concentrated on getting fat. Is your typical racehorse hacking in open spaces does get a bit eager to work but is never unmanageable.

Lovely to school very willing but still learning.

Absolutely fantastic on the ground, easy to have around, sensible in the field, good eater, fantastic travelling, turns out alone or in herd, does get nappy coming away from mares. Again nothing unmanageable!

The only bad point is he has had problems with soft soles . Vet did recommend 6 months turn out with good nutrition to let feet grow out and adjust to new weight. We have done this now for a month with shoes and pads on. He has been sporadically sound in this time but did unfortunately run through a wire fence in this time (completely my fault) so was also lame from this. Now on the mend from this I’m starting to look for a good home for him!

Only selling as I’m heading back to NZ and didn’t really plan on him in the first place! He will make fantastic horse when his feet come right just needs a bit of time and tlc. The vet, farrier and physio have all commented on his good legs, back and nature so just needs to grow some decent soles!

Very sad to see him go, home more important than money! Putting him up for sale in plenty time before I move!

No dealers, no time wasters, no loans.

This super french bred chap has lightly raced and since has been retrained professionally but 5* rider.

He has three correct and straight paces with natural balance. He's clean and careful to a fence.

Is currently competing weekly at Prelim and has never been out of the top two. Is ready to step up.
Enjoys XC and pops around a course very carefully.

Huge potential for the show ring / ROR dressage series / ROR Challenge but would also make a fantastic team chaser/eventer with a great brain.

Has seen hounds and proven to be very mannerly.

Incredibly easy at home, super in traffic and an allround gentleman to do.

Extremely sad sale

Gorgeous ROR sadly for sale, I have owned him since he was 5 and slowly retrained him for dressage. He is a rosette machine and has won up to novice level BD, competing at Area Festivals in January.

He won the ROR southern prelim Championships at Blenheim In 2024 and won the London and Southern novice Championships in 2025. Qualified for ROR nationals in August. He has also done some sj and xc but his strength is in his dressage.

He is good to shoe, traffic, box.

He is a bit wasted as I have 3 other horses that are eventing and feel now is the time for him to find his next home. He lives in or out and has no vices or health issues. Very well behaved at a show.

He wouldn’t be for a complete novice and would love him to find a home with someone that has experience with thoroughbreds. He hacks alone or in company and is snaffle mouthed at all times. Looking for a quick hassle free sale.

Please no time wasters as I want him to find the perfect home.

Charlie is a very talented ex-racehorse, who has been slowly retrained and done lots of different activities including event camps, showing, competitions and training. He loves to jump and has huge scope. He has 3 lovely paces and can do a lovely test with a sympathetic rider, it's just not his favourite phase however as he jumps for fun and is super brave XC he has the ability to top the rankings. We have qualified for the Regional Championships this year, in our first season at BE100.

Some of his results include:

2025 - 3rd Brechin Castle BE100
2025 - 6th Scottish Riding Club Championship 100
2024 - Champion Hack at National Side Saddle Show
2024 - numerous placings in the show ring, astride and side saddle
2023 - 3rd Scottish Riding Club Championship 90

Charlie only raced under rules 12 times in Ireland and last raced in December 2017. He has no racing injuries and is never sick or sorry.

Charlie hacks out alone, happy on the buckle end and is good in traffic. He loads on to a trailer & 3.5t lorry, good to shoe and with the vet. He is a forward ride and will need someone that is experienced to compete and fulfil his potential. He has the ability to go BE novice and above, pure SJ or lead horse teamchasing.

He is very sadly for sale due to there not being enough hours in the day! He needs a competitive and sympathetic home who can realise his full potential.

His saddles can be sold under separate negotiation (CC Jump, dressage and side saddle).

This has been a really hard decision, I've owned Simon for over 3 years. I bought him after I'd been out of riding for 10 years. And he's looked after me so well. Mum of 3 and mid 40's.

He's a full up 16.1hh, such a beautiful boy with great confirmation & paces. He's very well schooled. We compete regularly always very high 60's. He's qualified for trailblazers and came 4 th in the ROR regionals. And has qualified for the ROR championships too. He's a push button ride. Uncomplicated totally. My friend regularly ride him too she's over 60years and competes him too. He looks after her so well.

I feel he would like to do more, well more variety. He has a lovely jump and doesnt bat an eye at any fillers etc. We mainly concentrate on dressage the last few years and he loves his hacking too.

To handle he is sweet to handle. He does need some oral paste sedation for shoeing to relax him. Before I had him I think he's had a bad experience. But I have no trouble now.

He loads good a gold, we have a trailer. Up to date with everything, never been sick or sorry or had any injuries. He stands beautifully to get on and off.

I have millions of photos and videos.

This boy needs 5 star home where he will be loved and have lots of fun.
