Leo is a superb model with all the wow factor when it comes to confirmation and looks.

Leo had a fantastic few years over in Ireland becoming very popular on the circuit always being in the ribbons and at 6yrs competed and placed a 1.30m.

Since coming over to the UK he has been with an amateur who competed him to 1.15/1.20m, he has a huge amount of jump, exceptionally careful and quick against the clock, very quick infront and is a real picture to watch.

Leo is for certain a fantastic 1.30m + prospect with the right rider with him being only 8yrs the worlds really his oyster at this point. He’s a buzzy ride, can have a buck in the warmup and in the ring, very forward off your leg when asked and always jumped in a snaffle. Would not be for a novice amateur but would certainly benefit from a competitive teen/adult that wants to go out and win putting the time and work into a horse that has it all there.

Leo has been hunted once last year running up with the hounds and jumped everything infront of him, he’s xc schooled, hacks alone and in company, travels like a rock and good to do everything with.

Very genuine sale of a lovely horse however with the type of ride he is being quite hot to jump this reflects on his price.

Recently jumped and qualified the Gents (1.35/1.40m) final at Wales and West, double clear and 5th in the Foxhunter last week.

This lovely chap is for sale due to no fault of his own.

He is nicely schooled on the flat and has nice paces. He is a dream to hack, we are based on the South downs and he will happily go for a gallop and then plod home. He has been out to many training shows, dressage and jumping.

Jumping confidently around 90cm and same around XC always tries his hardest and loves it! He has hunted prior to me having him and i have taken him out on a hunt rides. Snaffle mouthed always.

Would suit someone looking for a lovely kind and easy all rounder/hunter/mother, daughter share or just a family horse. He is ready to be brought on and for someone to put their own stamp on him.

Absolute yard favourite, is used to being around children/dogs not bothered by any of it. Lunged by 9yr old boy ( shown in picture). Also ridden and jumped by my novice partner shown in the video.

Alvin has a super loving temperament, well mannered with a heart of gold , he is a lovely person and willing to learn and always try’s to please! He is very polite on the ground, loves fuss and attention, he is a quiet horse with an older head on him. 

Fantastic to hack alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic.. perfect in open spaces and you can jump logs and ditches on him out hacking, you can open and close gates on him and is perfect with sheep / cows/dogs/ walkers etc... 

Alvin loves his jumping and is very honest and brave , he jumps whatever is in front of him and is happy to trot or canter in to his jumps .. 

Always snaffle mouthed and happy to ride without a martingale , he has recently came over from Ireland from his breeder who has produced him slowly and in a lovely way , they hunted him for a season , beach rides , children hunts so he can see the world ..

Confidence-giving type. (He was my daughter's first horse off ponies.)

A really easy, gentleman on the ground, and ridden. Renewing would suit teenagers, adults, or a mother-daughter/ son share. He can be ridden as little or as often as you like. Great in all weathers, no change in temperament.

He has taken part in most PC and RC activities, including PC camp (Malvern PC), attended rallies, SJ, XC, dressage, fun rides, and shows.

Lovely hunter, goes first or last. Hunted last season with the Croome, Cotswolds Vale, and the Farmers Bloodhounds, XC and SJ are all done in a lovely, balanced rhythm.

Great in open fields, on roads, out hacking, good in traffic. Hacks alone or in company, and he can be left in the yard.

Good to box (in trailer or lorry), clip and shoe.

Rosie is a 15.3/ 16h 13 year old registered Irish draught chestnut mare. She is incredibly well bred with classic vision and ginger dick directly In her pedigree. She is a super athletic modern stamp that resembles more of an Irish sport horse model but she still has a nice amount of bone without being heavy. She is a lovely rich golden colour that glistens in the sunlight beautifully.

She is not at all your typical chestnut mare, she is the sweetest mare we have ever met with such a kind honest temperament, she acts like a gelding as she is so easy going. She has excellent conformation, clean limbs and very straight movement. She is very eye catching with her lovely rich colour, kind eye, easy going temperament, perfect conformation, athletic stamp, and cracking ridability. She is a firm yard favourite; everyone who meets her just loves her.

She is a very fun safe alrounder who excels all disciplines and would make the perfect mother/ daughter share, riding club alrounder/ low level eventer/ show jumper/ dressage horse/ or quality pleasure horse. Horses like Rosie do not come along very often, she is the type very hard to find.

Rosie has 3 super paces which are very correct and well balanced. She is a very straight forward ride who really looks after her rider, she's not the spooky/sharp type. She is a lovely medium speed being nicely responsive to transitions. She is nice and easy to ride with super ridability, she would suit most riders as she is completely uncomplicated. She works in a relaxed natural outline and is always snaffle mouthed. She is nicely schooled on the flat up to elementary level at home with a lovely leg yield, shoulder in and medium trot. She and has done some unaffiliated dressage tests where she always receives very promising comments and good scores in the high 60's. She is more than ready to go out and affiliate at preliminary/novice level if her rider wishes. She finds her work very easy and she is very light footed on her feet with a real leg in each corner. She is lovely to work with as she always wants to please her rider.

Rosie loves her jumping and is very bold. She makes a super shape over a fence and is very careful, she rarely touches a pole. She nicely takes her rider into the fence in a calm manner, she will jump from trot or canter. She helps her rider out if presented to the fence on the wrong stride. She has jumped round 1m courses with loads of scope and potential to jump the bigger. She hasn’t been over jumped though as her previous owner used to mainly school and hack her. She would excel in a riding club home where she could do sj clinics and competitions.

Rosie loves cross country schooling. She isn't at all strong or silly to ride, in fact she is a real comfidence giving safe ride. She has jumped a range of fences from timbres, hedges, combinations, fans, water jumps, ditches etc proving to be bold.

She has a lovley ground covering stride and can go on a gear if required. She has all of the foundations to make a super low level eventer as she is very good at all 3 disciplines. She will give someone hours of fun in a safe manner.

Rosie is a brilliant hack, very safe and very enjoyable. She happily hacks out alone and in company. She is excellent in traffic, she has previously crossed a busy 'a' road roundabout and patiently waited until it is clear to cross. She isn't fazed by lorries passing her etc. She is great in open spaces and sensible to canter, she will go in any order but does prefer cantering in front, or if in behind likes to keep up. She has been on long 10 mile hacks and has previously done pleasure rides. She has also been to Holkham beach which she loved and was so much fun. She really is so chilled out and you can really relax on her and enjoy yourself. She loves her hacking very much and is a super safe confidence giving who is nicely forward going.

Rosie has hunted several times in Ireland as a youngster where she was very bold over all of the jumping and very easy to ride within the field.

Rosie has an exceptional quiet temperament, she is very quiet to handle and is very polite. She is a very kind and friendly girl who can safely be handled by everyone including children and non-horsey people. She is such an easy girl to have around, she is excellent in all ways to handle, and is regularly brought in from the field by children. She leads like a dog and isn't fazed by anything. She happily lives in or out alone or in company. She is such a lovely girl who is worth her weight in gold!

She has previously been owned by a mature lady who has now hung up her riding boots but Rosie was very easy for her to do everything with for 7 years. Prior to this I owned her, so lots of history known.

Rosie must go to a 10* home where he will be loved and enjoyed. She will make an excellent riding club alrounder or pleasure horse . She would also make a safe sensible dressage horse for a more nervous rider. This is a sad sale as I have a real soft spot for this girl.

Mac is a one in a million horse he is is very kind and gentle on the ground , he loves a fuss and a bath .

He is a gentle giant , we have done everything from camps and clinics to pony club , unaffiliated sj , hunter trials pairs placing first and many more , he has been and done a bit of everything .

I have owned him for just over 2 years and before that he was bought over from ireland as a 4 year old and has stayed at the same yard since , and was hunted and was just being showed the world .

He hacks out in company and hacks alone , loves pub rides and fun rides .

He is good to clip ,shoe , load , wash you name it .

This is a very sad sale through no fault of his own but I am looking for something different.

He need a rider that is keen to jump and will work with him going round a course but he is a proven hunter and love a big hedge day and loves the big country .

He is a very versatile horse he is a weight carrier but also respects a smaller rider so can be ridden by anyone

He has been out and done some big hunting days including quorn ladies day , pytchley ladies day , belvoir ladies day with one of my close friends and he has flown over some hedges probably about 8ft , but also doing some quieter days including new years parade , boxing day , opening and closing meets and does clean boot fox hounds and have taken him to quite a few blood hound days as well . He is happy up front or at the back it doesn't bother him . He is snaffle mouthed all the time , whether its hunting , hacking , schooling or open fields.

He can be turned out with others but doesn't realise his size and is quite playful but is happy to be by himself , he is easy to catch .

Around 5 years ago I decided I wanted to make my dream a reality and buy my first horse. All I knew is he had to be big and he had to be black and then I found Romeo.

5 years later, Iv broken horses in, competed and won competitions, helped other horse lovers get into horse riding , attended weddings where brides and grooms have enjoyed Romeo being a part of their big day.

Ill try to keep this as brief as I possibly can, as my horse journey with the help of Romeo has been very very busy.

He stands at 16.2 maybe slightly taller but certainly not shorter, he taught me how to ride 5 years ago when I had no clue, hes amazing with the farrier, he loads with no fuss, there is nothing that really spooks him.

He's been to weddings with cars revving, flairs going off , fireworks going off and drums blasting, all whilst the groom who's never sat on a horse before makes his entrance to the venue, ( have video and pictures for anyone that wants to see.) In some Muslim wedding traditions, the groom arrives at the wedding venue on horseback during the Baraat procession. This tradition, known as the Baraat, involves the groom and his family arriving with a great deal of fanfare, often including music, dancing, and a procession of guests. Romeo has been used for these weddings and has been so well behaved and safe.

In terms of riding he is happy to go anywhere and do anything, whether its a walk, slow pace or gallop all you need to do is ask Romeo and he will oblige.

Although Romeo will do what you ask of him, he can get a bit strong and so he will need a confident rider, he does not bolt or spook but he can get strong when he gets to places hes been galloped before. Once he knows hes not going to gallop he does relax again.

He has been imported from America according to his passport, coming from a harness racing breeding line but I have never harness raced him in my ownership.

He is ride and drive, iv only driven him 2 or 3 times (also have videos)

In my ownership we have been on countless hacks, through woods, city streets, day or night. He is really good with other horses, rides in the front back or middle with no issues.

Romeo doe shave a few paces, he can trot, pace, and gallop. He has cantered for me before but its not something id be offering he does as part of the sale as its been very rare and almost by accident. If you wanted to train him to canter or trot properly then that's something Im sure he could get used to.

Ideally Id he'd be suited to a rider who is confident, and experienced certainly no novices. He would be great for simple hacking, and pleasure rides. He certainly does have a spring in his step, hes not a slow horse that would just plod along he is so much more than that. Hes safe as houses, Iv taught many of my friends to ride on him, from walk to gallop, and my 8 year old son also rides him ( not very well but he walks him around the yard/ fields.)

Iv been as honest as I possibly can, any vet checks ect are also welcome.

The ONLY reason he is for sale is that I compete in a sport called tent pegging, and although he is fully trained and has won first, second and third places before, he is a little on the bigger side so is not really ideal for the game.
