16.2hh Grey mare by Indian Red arrived as unbroken 4 year old and I have done everything with her since, she is brave and is not bothered by fillers etc, she is a wonderful mare to do in all respects, she hack out alone or in company does beach rides etc. She is a forward going mare, she has done a little XC and she enjoy that and I am sure would excel at XC. She is a fantastic horse to own a very friendly and tactile horse, she is good in traffic excellent to box shoe clip and travels in both a trailer or lorry. I think she would be ideal for the one horse owner to do all riding club activities, BS, ODE, pleasure rides she is extremely genuine and a type hard to find. We absolutely love her to bits and she needs and deserves the best home possible. Davey is a stunning dapple grey mare with a black mane. She has a beautiful head, and is a well put together substantial model of a horse. She is 8yo and 15.3hh, she is perfect if you’re looking for a small horse but like to have plenty of length of neck and a good shoulder to have Infront of you!

Davey is well schooled on the flat, she is lovely down the rein and has an understanding of lateral work. She is the kind of horse you can really get your leg on and ride up to the bridle. She has a big swinging trot and a lovely armchair canter. She has been to UA dressage shows and is v good in the boards and rises to the occasion! She is a little horse with lots of presence, she really fills the eye.

Davey has attended pole clinics and is happy to work and focus in the school along side other horses. She has competed at UA one day events with a teenager (80), always posting a sweet dressage test and has been double clear. Davey has a lovely jump, she has been to sj shows, arena hires and xc schooling. She has proven to be careful over a pole, She can be a little looky at new fillers in the showjumping so for this reason would not be suitable for a total novice or a v nervous rider.

Davey is good to hack alone or in company. Alone she can be a little spooky, nothing overly dramatic and no nasties, but again this would make her not totally suitable for a total novice or a very nervous rider. She is v good in traffic, she has had artic Lorrie’s and tractors pass her and has been immaculately behaved.

She is not mareish to handle or to ride. She does not buck nap or rear. She does not spook horrendously, but typical of a competition horse she is not totally dead.

Davey has attended the Fernie fun ride, she was brilliantly behaved and not atall phased by other horses coming and going past. She is ridden in a snaffle.

She is good to load, travel, clip, shoe.

Davey has a full set of clean x rays and is available for any vet inspection. No vices, no health issues. Lovely mare who will excel in dressage/showing/eventing/hunting, an easy horse to have around the yard!

We are looking for someone who will take their time and produce Blake kindly and sympathetically.

Full honest story, Blake was bought from me the breeder as a two year-old, and although he has had fantastic handling, he has moved yards with his previous owner in his short period of life so many times at least 15, all down to financial and home issues.

This was also because he was kept as a stallion until he was five, so was only cut last September.

This is why it must be a home where he’s going to be staying.

Blake was backed at three, turned away and brought back in as a four-year-old doing some schooling, show and being young has proven to be quirky at times, I feel some of the quirks is through lack of settlement within himself and of course being young and not having a consistent rider.

Unfortunately, due to financial issues, Blake was going to be passed on with not much care as to where he was going so he was bought to give him time to settle at my yard where we have the time to make sure he has the right home for him.

Blake has now had time to settle. He has had his back checked by Helen Tompkins. He has been scoped to make sure he had no ulcers and he was clear. He has also had infrared body scans which were all good and clear and he has had his teeth done. This was done to make sure that he was happy and comfortable within his body.

We are hoping to find somebody that can offer him the best home, that perhaps is on a smaller budget to purchase something, we haven’t restarted his ridden work, as we would like somebody to start again with trust and a good relationship. He has been showjumping and XC and can work lovely in the school.

He is a talented quality young horse that just wants a loving home, where he can be himself, he is so kind and gentle to handle, we feel a quieter yard or a Home yard is best for him. Being only cut in September, when he says hello to other horses he does like to squeal and raise his front leg, he has been out with two Geldings for turn out.

Blake is good to catch, Farrier, clipping I believe as well, we haven’t loaded him, however believe this is ok too just thinks sometimes.
