He produces intelligent, easy horses that are a pleasure to ride and adds stamina and scope along with amazing movement.

Leprince's sire Yarlands Summer Song competed himself to 4* level eventing and has produced an amazing number of eventers which hace reached high levels of eventing including 5*, 4* and 3 as well as showjumpers. Leprinces Grand- Sire Fleetwater Opposition also produced numerous high level eventers many of which reacher 4* and 3* level.

Dam; Erythronium

Erythronium (Tula) was bred at Saxelbye Manor Stud out of our very successful Irish mare The West who came 3rd in the 5 year old showjumping championships at Dublin Show.

Erythronium has excellent conformation and a fantastic temperament, she turned heads wherever she went. She has evented up to 2* level very successfully with many wins under her belt. We were very happy to welcome her back to the stud to continue this amazing line when she retired sound from eventing

Erythronium's sire Elroon won both the dressage and showjumping sections of the SEIB British breeding young horse evaluations and throughout his life he competed very successfully in dressage with 64 affiliated wins and qualifying for Nationals at Medium level and Regionals at Advanced Medium.

Mac is a truly special horse – kind, gentle, and full of personality. He’s a joy to handle on the ground, loves attention, a good bath, and is always up for a cuddle.

Standing as a true gentle giant, Mac has done it all: camps, clinics, Pony Club, unaffiliated showjumping, and hunter trials (including placing first in pairs). He’s a proven all-rounder who turns his hoof to anything and does it with heart.

I’ve had the pleasure of owning Mac for just over two years. Prior to that, he came over from Ireland as a 4-year-old and has remained at the same yard since. He was hunted and gradually introduced to a variety of experiences.

Mac hacks out happily both alone and in company, and loves pub rides and fun rides. He’s easy to clip, shoe, load, wash – you name it, he takes it all in stride.

This is a heartbreaking sale through no fault of his own – I’m simply looking for something a bit different.

Mac is ideally suited to a rider who enjoys jumping out hunting and going for long days . He’s a proven hunter with a love for the big country and won’t think twice about flying a hedge – he’s taken on some serious days out, including Quorn, Pytchley, and Belvoir Ladies Days, where he jumped hedges close to 8ft with confidence and style. He’s also happy on quieter days – New Year’s parades, Boxing Day meets, and clean boot or bloodhound hunting.

Always snaffle-mouthed – whether out hunting, hacking, schooling, or in open fields – Mac is responsive and mannerly. He’s versatile and a true weight carrier, yet respectful and careful with lighter riders, making him suitable for a wide range of people.

He can live in or out, goes out with others (though can be playful due to his size), and is just as content turned out solo. He’s easy to catch, has no vices, and is up to date with vaccinations, teeth, physio, and strangles vaccine.
