Lovely forward going gelding who just wants to please ,has jumped everything he has been asked to do , water trays ,fillers ,rivers ,ditches , field banks etc this boy has never stopped or hesitated once and is keen to work , professionally broken at home as a late four year old as we left him to mature and own personal health , more flat work is needed as he is not the finished article , but when schooled he is improving more and every time out

He has just competed July at bicton this year for five days and was foot perfect for his first time away travelled perfectly in lorry also his first time and settled quickly taking it all in his stride.
second time away for the august bicton show was placed in every class on all three days and has qualified

confidently jumps a bank and go through water with no issues he is bred for a job and loves to be in work and doing but also you can leave him for a few days and he is no problem to start again A tough yet kind horse you wont wear out in a hurry ,

Easy to handle on the ground and loves a fuss , good to clip, groom ,bath ,good with farrier . loads trailer or lorry and travels well stands all day with no fuss ,all dentist & vaccinations up to date, correct conformation , clean limb , good in heaviest of traffic , good around dogs and use to small children ,

Unfortunately he has Just been seen to weave recently on occasions this is more of a anxious thing from him which we have been noticing occasionally and is very intermittent and does not last long it is only in certain situations for a few moments this settle the more he does .I can provide more information with potential buyers and video etc

There is a small scar on the higher point of buttock which was a very small lump due to being bitten from dam at around 6 months old this was removed to verify it was not a sarcoid in April 2023 and my peace of mind when selling him later , full veterinary notes and verification from vet can be provided

Very willing in everything that is asked of him and is ridden in a nathe soft bit , he will lead a horse and be led himself when ridden . he would suit a good confident rider with a good leg and light hands who has the experience of this type of sensitive horse he is not nasty in any way and always willing with the right confident rider but he is not a novice riders horse
He hacks out alone and in company brilliant in traffic and is good with dogs and young children

I cannot say enough good things about this horse, Joey is the ultimate amateur dream, he is as straightforward as they come but has so much scope and jump.

Joey goes on absolutely any stride, and will do his best to keep the fences up, has all 4 discovery double clears and is quick in a jump off, point him at a jump and he will take you over. 

Never strong (goes in a rubber snaffle) and is so forgiving, has given me all my confidence back and is the perfect first horse for someone off ponies or an amateur wanting to be competitive, has a horse stride but also the pony brain and 5th leg. 

Will move up levels easily or be a competitive bronze league winner

3 flashy balanced paces on the flat works in a smart outline and produces a very smart test.

Eddie is a beautifully bred, well-produced young horse with an outstanding temperament and huge potential as a classy competition horse. I purchased him as a foal, so his full history is known, and he has been carefully and correctly brought on with no corners cut.

Eddie was foot-perfect to back and has retained a wonderfully positive, trainable attitude with everything we’ve asked of him. He is schooling beautifully and softly on the flat and confidently jumping courses of 80cm+. He shows natural scope, never spooks at fillers/water trays etc. I ride him in an eggbutt snaffle for everything.

He recently went to his first clear round training show where he behaved impeccably, both in the busy warm-up arena and over unfamiliar fences. Eddie has also been cross-country schooling, jumping logs, skinnies, ditches, steps, and water without hesitation.

Eddie is excellent to handle in every respect. He has front shoes, stands quietly for the farrier and dentist, loads and travels well in a 12t horsebox, and happily ties up outside at events. He has accompanied me to BE competitions, taking the atmosphere in his stride.

Eddie has been produced in a professional rehabilitation and competition yard, benefitting from first-class care throughout his life. He regularly sees the physio, uses the water treadmill weekly, and has always had routine farriery, worm counts, worming, and vaccinations kept fully up to date.
