I regularly box him up on my own and take him to nearby bridle ways and the beach, he is always a pleasure.

This talented young horse is showing all the qualities of a future star. Having only just started his eventing career this season, he’s taken everything in stride – placing 2nd at his very first outing at Moreton and finishing 9th on his debut at 90cm.

On the flat, he displays lovely, expressive movement and a soft, responsive mouth. He’s a quick learner, already confidently working through lateral movements and offering a promising medium trot.

Donald is a beautiful 16.3 12yo homebred liver chestnut gelding by the world famous showjumper Don VHP Z (diamant de semilly x Voltaire) out of our Ramiro Z (laughtons flight x king of diamonds) 1.30 mare.

Donald is a grade B showjumper with £3,256 winnings, 1,196 points, jumping up to foxhunter level. He has jumped at county shows, stay aways, hickstead & qualified for the main ring multiple times placing 2nd in the 1.10 amateur final 2024. He gives a fantastic feel over a fence, is careful and can turn up against the clock often bringing home prizes. Although Donald has had a successful showjumping career we have made the sad decision to find him a new home as his heart is not in jumping the big tracks. He’s happy at lower heights and is looking for a varied life going to different parties not just showjumping week in and out. He’d love to do a bit of everything and have fun whether that’s dressage, hacking, sponsored rides, showing or hunting!

On the flat Donald is quite happy to plod about or knuckle down and work nicely, he does lateral work and changes and has done dressage tests as a youngster where he won and last year where he was 3rd in both his tests with one of our liveries riding him and scored good marks and comments from the judges. He could also excel in flat showing as a middleweight hunt type.

We’ve also taken Donald XC schooling which he enjoyed, jumping a lot of the intermediate fences at hickstead. We think he’d be an incredible hunt horse as he’s got the scope for the big hedges. He’s done limited hacking out, we don’t do much hacking on the roads as based on such a fast road so he’s never been on his own but it’s definitely something he’d enjoy and has been good in the traffic when out. He’s good to ride in the fields and canter in open spaces & is ridden by most the yard including small ladies & has been for group canters/gallops.

On the ground Donald is a big softy at heart and loves a scratch and cuddle. He’s excellent to clip, bath, plait, shoe, turnout, catch, load, travel, stand on lorry. He’s up to date with dentist, physio, vaccinations, worming, sheath cleaning, you name it!

The right home is of upmost importance for our lovely homebred boy so please still enquire as it’s more important than price, full history known and he has never had a vet bill or lameness issue, he’s an incredibly sound horse and open to any vetting. 16.2hh 5 year old unusual filly that has been owneed since a foal and been professionally backed as a 4 year old then turned away and bought back in as a 5 year old broken and ridden away .

Since then she has done fun rides, XC schooled loaded up and traveled to different destinations to go hacking in woods and open commons ! She great to load and travel but can weave on the box or at times of stress . She can be a little anxious at times but she loves her food so this has always been mangled by making sure she has forage available.

She hacks alone and in company and is safe in open spaces regularly walked through fields cantered in them and never any issues ! Shes got a good pop and jumped all the jumps At her recent fun ride - she’s not fazed by the buisness of other horses and is happy to take the lead or drop back . She does walk and canter in the school but is very green but knows the basics! She requires an experienced rider due to her age and her greeness - she is not nasty but can be a little tricky at times and just requires a patience person to get the best out of her .

Bo is an exciting young horse and a great prospect to produce up through the levels. He has been double clear in his first few Newcomers so far and will soon be ready to step up again.

He is naturally competitive being both brave and careful, always in the placings. Qualified discovery second rounds 2025. Low mileage so still eligible for most classes. He has now qualified for the discovery final this year placing 2nd in his first attempt.

Would be a good contender for 6yo classes this year and beyond for the future.

He works nicely on the flat with three correct, balanced paces and good changes.

Bo is a super kind and friendly person to do in all ways and to have around. Great temperament and attitude towards his work. Suitable for both amateur to produce and have some fun on or would equally slot in to a more professional string too.
