Bred for dressage but has a laid back attitude that would probably allow him to do a bit of everything with correct training.

He is still needing to physically mature more and build muscle but the potential is there.

Loads and travels in a trailer, untried in a lorry.

Perfect for the farrier and good with vets.

Passed vetting with clean back and neck X-rays last year. Very mild OCD detected in hocks but showed no issues on flexion tests, vets weren’t concerned and didn’t expect it to affect him. Has had no issues since being backed and in full work.

A Fantastic Opportunity to Own a Talented Mare

Cruise is a well mannered mare with a nice temperament who has been easy to do. She takes up a riders leg well, I’m 6ft and have been riding her regularly.

Cruise has 3 lovely paces on the flat, she tries hard and with a little further polishing she will be easily producing quality novice level tests. She has a lovely soft snaffle mouth and goes nicely off the leg in all 3 paces without being sharp. She has a soft natural frame and will only get better as her muscle continues to develop. She turns heads & receives lots of compliments wherever she goes! She has attended a local Polework & jumping clinics & a dressage competition with us where she was unfazed at a new venue taking everything in her stride.

Cruise recently represented the local Riding Club at the area qualifiers, she behaved impeccably at a very busy show and jumped a nice clear round to place individually 3rd.

She has also recently been competed by my 64 year old father who hasn’t competed or ridden much for at least 6 months, she took it all in her stride and carried him safely round for a nice clear round and 2nd place.

Over fences, Cruise exhibits natural talent and form. She enjoys her jumping and is happy to take her rider on the fence, she’s the type that likes to run on auto pilot and strides herself.

Cruise has also done some hacking with us, she has seen some traffic as well as cyclists/dog walkers/runners etc. she does prefer to ride out in company.

Cruise has been a pleasure to work with and I have throughly enjoyed our time with her. Although not a novice ride, Shes easy enough for an amateur or aspiring teen to continue on with and have bags of fun with.

Cruise is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne where she can be viewed at our home with good facilities available.

Boo (Mayfly IV) is an 8 year old bay homebred Hanoverian x TB mare by sir shutterfly. Boo has competed up to BE100 and showjumped up to 1.10.

Boo is a forward thinking mare with a great jump. Due to the riders loss of love for eventing she has been aimed at showjumping as more of a focus. Even though she has not been eventing over the last year boo has been based on a dressage yard so has been kept up together with her flat work schooling.

I believe boo would suit a teenager or an ambitious home who is set on getting out competing and having fun! As she is bold it lends her to being forgiving if the jockey doesn’t get her right every time, her take it on attitude will give her next jockey plenty of confidence into a jump. I think she would excel in showjumping or grassroots eventing.

Moonlit Affair ('noodle') only started ridden work in December and has been brought on slowly and correctly since.

She is showjumping confidently around courses at home and away and has attended clear round showjumping shows, double clear her first time out.

She shows a lovely calm attitude to her flatwork and wants to please, she has established basic lateral work and carries herself in a nice frame in all three paces. She has attended and performed well in unaffiliated dressage competitions.

She has lightly cross country schooled however due to rider time restrictions this has not been her main focus, although she was bold and proved good with steps, water etc.

Loads and travels beautifully, stands on the lorry to be tacked up and a pleasure to do in all ways.

Good to clip/bath/shoe/lunge etc, up to date on all vaccines/teeth/physio. Regularly handled by teens and my older mother on the ground.

She has a small sarcoid on the inside of her hind leg which does not affect her ridden work in any way. “Romeo” is a super eye catching gelding with huge amount of presence and a lovely personality to match. He has gone from jumping 1.20 to 1.45 since January has taken everything in his stride. He is brave and honest with a very correct technique. Always taking you to the fence and never stops.

Easy snaffle ride on the flat. Moves well enough to do pure dressage but really does enjoy jumping. He can lack a little confidence to hack but is getting better with this all the time. He has been to the beach, open fields etc and is safe in all settings.

Romeo is perfect to handle on the ground. He’s good to clip, shoe, bath, vet, load etc. Travels perfectly in a trailer, van or lorry. Travelled to Spain and back at the start of the year and was no problem at all.

Had a months holiday on his return and is now fit and ready to go for the summer. Would suit a competitive amateur or someone looking for a horse to take them up the levels.
