Rectory Farm Arena is an 80 x 50m arena outside Cirencester, Gloucestershire. We offer arena hire 365 days a year, with a full set of BS jumps.

We run Category 2 BS shows every Thursday from April-September.

Category 1 shows May 27th and July 13th

Three day show, including category 3 on June 27th to 29th;

Classes range from 90cm-1.40m;

We have hard-core parking and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere;

Albert’s Avenue is a smart rising 6-year-old gelding with a great attitude and a solid foundation behind him. He is an uncomplicated, genuine type who enjoys his work and is ready to continue progressing with his next rider.

He has experience across multiple disciplines, having competed in British Showjumping up to Novice level, where he has shown himself to be careful, brave, and consistent. He is equally established on the flat, producing correct, balanced work and has successfully completed dressage tests.

Albert’s Avenue has been to stay-away shows and is very easy to take out, behaving impeccably in new and busy environments. Based at a competition centre, he is used to a professional setting and takes everything in his stride.

He is straightforward to handle in all respects – good to catch, shoe, load, and travel, with no stable vices. He hacks confidently both alone and in company and has a sensible, level-headed outlook on life.

Chambers Court Dancing Rose is a beautiful 4-year-old mare with a bright future ahead of her.

Gently backed as a 3-year-old and then given time to mature, she has been carefully re-backed this winter and is now ready to continue her education.

She has been produced slowly and correctly, showing a kind temperament and a willing attitude to her work. She is taking everything in her stride and is proving to be straightforward, sensible, and eager to learn – an ideal blank canvas for someone looking to produce a young horse their own way.

Dancing Rose moves well with three correct, balanced paces and shows natural potential for a variety of disciplines, whether that be dressage, eventing, or as a quality all-rounder. She is good to handle on the ground, with a sweet nature and no known vices.

This stunning gelding is a true gentleman. By the legendary Chacco Blue, Chacco Prince has previously competed up to 1.30m while based in Dubai. For the past two years, he has been ridden at a lower level by a teenager in UK and is currently competing at 1.10m with a professional rider.

Chacco Prince has a kind and genuine temperament, though he can be a little shy with new people ( mainly men) , so he would thrive in home where he can build a close bond. He is super safe, a true gentle
Giant.

He would suit an amateur rider looking to enjoy lower-level jumping, flatwork, or general all-round fun. Equally, he could step back up the levels with a quiet, capable rider.
He has done some arena eventing which he enjoyed.

A special home is sought for this very special horse who deserves the best care and attention.

Joey is a beautiful stamp with a super temperament and plenty of ability. By Glennfiddich VDL, a modern, careful and competitive sire carrying some of the best Dutch jumping blood including Bacardi VDL. His dam sire is Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest, who jumped at the highest international level and brings in top names such as Nabab de Rêve and Darco. Joey is therefore exceptionally well bred and a horse that really oozes quality and potential.

Joey has had a slower start to his career, so is a little green for his age, but he has been out to a few training shows both showjumping and dressage and is now ready to go on and be competitive.

He is happily jumping around 90/100 tracks, proving brave and straightforward to a fence. He is not strong or silly and would be well suited to someone wanting a horse to produce and be competitive on, with the ability to go against the clock in time.

Joey has three balanced, elevated paces and has recently been out dressaging, scoring 68% at prelim level with positive comments on his correct way of going. He has a naturally uphill canter, enjoys his work, and shows a willing, workmanlike attitude.

He has attended clinics and some natural horsemanship sessions. He originally came to us for schooling and exposure as he could be a little unsure around other horses, so he is looking for a home that will continue his education and give him confidence through regular outings.

Joey is good to hack in company, has seen farm and village traffic, and is sensible in open spaces. He can be unsure hacking alone, so will benefit from a confident rider to continue building his confidence.

He is good to clip, shoe, load, catch etc. Currently barefoot with excellent feet, he is not footy on the roads and has not required shoes. He is a good doer and a pleasure to have on the yard.

A kind, genuine horse with a lovely nature and easy character.
Joey is for sale on behalf of his owner. This is a sad sale, and finding him the right home is the absolute priority.
