Daisy has been correctly started, with lots of time spent on the ground work. Long - reining around the farm and village, not phased by anything!

She has been super easy to start, riding away nicely, already working in a correct outline and popped a few fences under saddle. Kind, willing attitude. Been out for a hack, meeting traffic, children, bicycles and another horse and not put a foot wrong. Shows a careful neat shape over a fence, and once popped out over the gate when loose schooling!

Good for the farrier, travel, load, catch etc. Lovely person on the ground, not mareish at all. Had small children making a fuss of her, leading her in yard etc and good as gold.

She is easy enough that she can be further produced by a competent amateur or professional rider. Has not been sharp or naughty in anyway so far in her education and work.

Dam has produced successful competition and eventing progeny. Half brother 3rd in CCIYH2* Millstreet. Sire won Croker Cup at Dublin Horse Show.

Odin is a beautiful 4-year-old (May) Lusitano x PRE gelding by the Lusitano stallion Invasor (“Vinny”), owned by Justine Armitage of Horses in Harmony, and is registered with the Lusitano Society. He was bought as a 2-year-old and has spent the last two years growing up and playing with other youngsters at Penllyn Lusitano, allowing him the time to mature physically and mentally. Odin was bought to be my future horse. Sadly, he is likely to be smaller than I had hoped. At 5’9, with my legs being longer than my torso, I realistically need a 16’3hh horse. With another horse already in work and a full-time job involving a hefty commute and time away from home, I cannot give two horses the time and commitment they deserve. This is the only reason he is being offered for sale.

Temperament is Odin’s greatest asset. Having spent the first two years of his life living at home with his breeder in my village, he absolutely loves people and genuinely enjoys human interaction. Sad sale due to my dad’s ongoing poor health.

I am sadly offering my lovely 4 year old, 15.1hh Thoroughbred mare for sale straight from the field.

She is a sweet, kind mare with a lovely temperament, very well put together, with clean legs and is good to do in all ways. She has happily lived out all year round.

As she is only 4, she is still green and therefore not suitable for a novice rider. She was in training but never raced. At the training yard she has seen some rustic poles and small jumps. Since being with myself i mainly hacked her and introduced some light schooling before turning her away. I have also taken her to a couple of inhand showing shows where she was always placed and behaved well. She hacks both alone and in company and has always been willing.

This is a genuine and heartbreaking sale due to lack of time with work commitments alongside my dad’s health. She deserves a knowledgeable home where she can continue her education and reach her full potential.

Rocky is a 16.1, 9 year old, OTTB.

We have owned Rocky for around a year and he has always been willing to do whatever is asked and has a lovely temperament. He is quiet to ride and is snaffle mouthed for all phases.

He has been slowly retrained and is showing promise of being a beautiful dressage/showing horse, potential show jumper/Eventer, team chaser, happy hacker - we could see him in most disciplines!

He has 3 flashy paces and is very balanced, easily picking up lateral and more experienced movements - has scored well in a couple dressage shows. He is a brave jumper and isn’t bothered by fillers/water trays etc. His technique over a fence is improving day by day and he is proving to be a careful show jumper. He has jumped 80cm courses out competing and up to 1m at home, with scope to potentially go bigger with time. He has been to two ODEs, going double clear at the second and placing 5th.

He is great to hack, will go out alone or in company. He is good in open spaces, not strong or spooky. Easy to load, shoe, clip, catch etc. No vices or vet history. Although he is quiet and easy the majority of the time, Rocky has not been long out of racing so is still inexperienced in his new lifestyle and therefore is not a complete novice ride.

Overall, he is a real sweetheart, friendly and kind with a big personality.
