Red is a stunning lad with a kind heart, but he is quite sensitive and needs an experienced person to bring out the best in him.
Red can be nappy when leaving the yard on his own, nothing nasty. This stops with regular work. Great to hack out with others, but can have the odd spook, so not for a novice rider, great in traffic.
I feel Red would thrive in a busy yard, as he doesn't like being left when I take my other horse out for a ride.
To be honest, I was sold on him as a happy hack, and he is not for a novice rider. He has a cosmetic little lump on his front leg, but this has never bothered him in the two years I have owned him, but won't make a show horse, Red has always been sound.
Red did take a little time to settle here at first, but when I got his trust, he was always the first to come out of the field to see me. Reds at the bottom of the pecking order in my herd, so this is the main reason I am going to sell him, as I feel sorry for him, as he always gets left when I rideout as he is too much for me. I am on the wrong side of forty to be falling off due to my riding skills, nothing to do with him. Any more questions, just ask. I will be honest, I only want what's best for Red, and that's not me :(
He hasn't really done anything over winter, just hacking out now and then, so needs to be brought back into work to build up his top line etc, but he will be a very good looking horse when fit and in full-time work. We have started bringing him back into work with lunging, long-reining and short hacks.
Red is brilliant to load in a 3.5t box and travels amazingly, great with the vet, farrier, clipping and when being groomed. Stands to be tacked up and mounted, he is a genuinely lovely boy but is just too much horse for me.

Heartbreaking sale as owned from a foal he is only for sale due to change in personal circumstances (can be discussed) and not having a jockey for him.

Bruno is 15hh Dapple grey ID gelding rising 6 years old.

Was professionally backed as a four year old, turned away over winter and went to a few shows last season.

He has been out of work now for six months due to not having a rider for him. So he is sold out of the field as a project. He is not ready to jump on and go. He will need long reining and lunging to build his muscle again. He is a young horse who needs restarting.

He is fantastic to load been up and down the country in a 3.5 and 7.5 box, stands on it all day at a show, we’ve never had him in a trailer but don’t see he’d have any issue. He travels well, good with farrier (doesn’t have shoes as he has fantastic feet), comes to call, is a big Labrador in the stable, he love attention, lives in or out alone, in a pair or herd.

Never been lame, no lumps, bumps or scars.

He is a sensitive horse, he gets his confidence from his rider, in that sense he isn’t a novice ride.

Under saddle he is forward going and will eyeball something if he hasn’t seen it before, he doesn’t have much mileage, and needs someone confident, would suit a competent teen or small adult to have fun on, he’s been to clinics, shows, gallops, indoor and outdoor arenas etc.

Hacks out alone or in company. Good on the road but will look at things. So I don’t want to say he’s bombproof.

This is an incredibly sad sale of a homebred mare, I was hoping to get her back into work after having my baby at the start of this year but due to other issues I am now unable to, and realistically need to sell her as she’s got more to give than being a glorified lawnmower. Peppy has been to many training shows, arena hires & stay aways - however, is still green and needs a competent rider to bring out the best in her. She schools nicely on the flat, but can be backwards thinking as a default but once worked in correctly shes light in the mouth and easy off the leg. She enjoys hacking, although green she’s not stupid or spooky and is happy to go in front. She can live in or out and is a good doer, barefoot & always has been, when she’s in work she’s not the type that needs riding everyday.

Due to my personal circumstances, and the fact she was never intended to be sold, she has had a slow life so is still green and needs an experienced rider who maybe couldn’t afford a ‘ready made’ horse.
