Godington Ursula is a half sister to approved stallion Godington Utah. Her competition credentials are beyond reproach being by 4* eventer and Gr PrPix dressage Anglo Arab Icare d'Olympe.

She was awarded a premium at her grading and was champion mare that day. She has been disadvantaged by being out of work through no fault of her own as we were so short staffed that some of our youngsters had to be returned to the paddocks for a while until we had enough riders plus the double whammy of COVID.

She has now returned to work with a vengeance and is ready for her competition career with a new dancing partner.

Bred to event but she will also do well at pure dressage as her paces are excellent. Her rider Ruth says she is great fun, a joy to ride and very willing.

Travels well, good with farrier and vet, good on the road. She has already this year been out to dressage, SJ and arena eventing competitions - all unaff. Placed every time.

Exceptionally talented horse with 3 very correct paces and conformation

Full history known as bought from breeder as a 2yr old. Backed by my then 12 yr old daughter and produced slowly and allowed to mature at his own pace.

Solly was bought to become my daughter’s next dressage horse after she outgrew her 12.2hh pony, circumstances changed and she ended up campaigning another pony at FEI level then another at junior level dressage.

Solly was produced in the back ground and when he started jumping it was clear this is what he enjoyed.

My daughter has taken him cross country training jumping ditches annd drops and done some local show jumping competitions up to 90cm.

My daughter is not interested in jumping but he will easily clear 120m for her, he has hunted with the Dumfriesshire hunt jumping walls and ditches.

This is a heartbreaking sale as he has been part of the family for 7 yrs but he needs to go and be someone’s one and only and enjoy life. We simply don’t have the time to give him that along with my daughter competing 3 other horses nationally up to Inter 1 level.

A special home is required so Solly can enjoy life doing what he loves. He is safe, loves been ridden bareback at the beach, hacks alone or in company.

I think he would make a fantastic WHP, he has a very balanced correct canter between fences, never charges at a fence and has learnt to figure it out on his own as my daughter has little jumping experience.

He qualified Prelim gold regional championships finishing with a score of 68% and a list 1 judge having him on 70%.

He was reserved Scottish prelim gold champion and finished with 70% in the Novice gold championship.

He has done a few affiliated Elementary tests with scores up to 69+% training medium at home.

Would make a lovely mother child share, can be hacked out/ridden easily after a week off.

Never gone with out and has always had correct fitting tack, physio, Ciro, teeth.

Fairlight Mojo - Mojo is a sweet tempered mare with a very willing attitude to learn and pick up things very quickly. She try’s her best whatever you ask of her. I have owned her for two years and have been her first owner. She is an extremely loving and cuddly mare.

Before buying Mojo she was backed quite late at about 5 years old and from the on taken out to BSJA and competed up to 1.20, had done a little bit of xc schooling and not really had much flat work schooling done. She is very low mileage.

Since being with me mojo has been treated for ulcers due to stress of moving. She had a full check up and given the all clear hasn’t had any issues since. She needs to stay on a maintenance regime.

I have taken Mo out to many clinics which she very much enjoys and have taken her out to unaffiliated showjumping up to 1.10 and placed.

It is of no fault of her own that she hasn’t been BSJA with me it’s just something I’ve never been able to do due to lack of time and funds.

Her reason for sale is due to other commitments I haven’t got the time to do her justice anymore.

Mojo is a blood horse and is not suitable for a novice. She needs to be ridden correctly and with someone who can take her to her full potential.

She hacks out alone or in company. She prefers to be out on the country rather than in the village on the road. She can get on her toes and can be looky out hacking but I take her out on my own all the time.

Good to catch, shoe, clip. Has traveled in trailer and lorry, on her own and with others.

Mojo’s only vice is she MUST be turned out with friends and cannot be turned out alone. She has been turned out with either mares or geldings and wants to be everyone’s friend.

She is a very good doer and is happy to be out all the time as long as there is sufficient food.

Passed a 5* vetting with clean X-rays when I brought her

Her home is paramount and looking for a lightweight competent rider who is willing to take her to the next level and really enjoy her.

Pros

• Easy to hack - alone or in company - good brain, not a spooky horse - never known to buck, rear, not nappy. A lovely ride - great for beach rides, sponsored rides etc.
• Dressage - lovely paces for his type, good, correct, rhythmical paces. Training at medium, started working on changes.
• Travel - trailer or lorry, alone or in company - happily stand on lorry or trailer. Easy for 1 person to take out
• XC he adores - schooled over BE100 fences no problem, faultless record. No issues with water, ditches etc - he will give you a lot of confidence.
• No known medical issues

Cons

• Has been known to jump out of fields on occasion - may never happen again, but we have stallion fencing in case as near road
• SJ - this is his weakest phase and still a little green. He does not refuse fences, but takes confidence from rider and if he lands unbalanced will run on a little on landing so for this reason for show jumping he would need a balanced rider that is not nervous.
