Smart 15.3hh British sports horse Mare who I have owned for 4 years, bought her from breeder, looking for her to find her forever home with someone who will love her like a I do.

Would be suited to a competitive amateur/young-adult wanting a potential grassroots prospect or amateur show-jumper equally she could be a fun all rounder. She is safe/sensible under saddle never bucks/rears however is a keen/busy & forward going ride so wouldn’t be suitable for a novice, need a strong confident rider, she will fill you with confidence if forward is what you like.

Works well in all 3 paces can do all her lateral work & changes both ways. Very bold to jump never says no even if you miss she has a heart of gold and will dig you out of any stride. She has done everything with me dressage (Unaff), showjumping (BS) & cross country and will come home with clears & rosettes. Sad sale as our daughter is in her final year at University and our part-sharer is now also off to Uni. A great schoolmaster, eventer and genuine all rounder that we have owned for 5 years. The perfect first horse for experienced older teens coming off ponies or for a competent amateur adult. Competed up to BE/PC100 with current riders and up to Novice as youngster. Formative years spent with world top 10 riders.

As well as being an athletic competition horse, William is one of the most loving horses -the favourite on the yard. He's more like a giant Labrador. 100% to clip, load, travel (trailer and lorry), shoe. Will stand happily on the trailer / lorry all day. Stands quietly in the start box. Hacks alone or in company. Not fazed by large traffic or farm machinery. Very chilled at competitions, away shows, Pony Club rallies and PC camp.

As the right home is so important to us, we are being 100% honest. He can have a spook at silly things and, on very rare occasions, can throw a shape, so no novice or very young riders please. 99% of the time he is super laid back and the sweetest chap ever. He also has the quirk that he must be mounted from the off-side.

William is capable of amazing dressage results with big floaty movements (scoring 73.97% at his first BD competition and usually in the high 20s when eventing), clever foot work when showjumping and very tolerant with riders misjudging a stride. He is nibble for Arena-eventing. He has never had a stop or runout at SJ or AE. He is bold and experienced XC but does need to be ridden forwards, hence some blots on his record with the rider being too laid back and rusty from time away at Uni. He does not give ditches, water, steps or banks a second look when XC. He just takes you to them, without being strong. When he has been put in impossible situations XC he will preserve himself, and keep the rider onboard, by gently slipping out to the side. He has never made a dirty stop.

Our daughter has had very little time to compete over the past couple of years but highlights include many UA Dressage wins, 3rd at Blackwater Farm ODE June 2024, 5th at Shelford Manor GoBE90 August 2024. Clear at Little Downham No Stress 90cm eventing April 2025, 6th at Felbridge Combined Training 90 in July 2025. These results were achieved despite our daughter only being back in the saddle a day or two before each event.

UPDATE 24 August 2025. 7th Solihull GoBE90 with a Sub 30 DR, Double Clear. Our daughter hadn't jumped a single fence in 4 weeks or gone XC in 4 months hence some time penalties to add to their XC. William looked after her and got them safely round with massive smiles.

A tiny bone chip was identified during a sales vetting in 2017. This has been medicated once and this has been reflected in the price. Full vets records will be shared, along with X-rays. He is a very talented horse for a rider with a 4 figure budget.

Washington Minx is a stunning and much-loved British Sports Horse who has been with us for four years. Sadly, she is now seeking a new home as I head off to University.

"Minx" is a brilliant all-rounder - talented in dressage; show jumping and cross-country. She has a kind nature, a super attitude to work, and offers three balanced, confident paces with plenty of scope. She has competed at BE in previous homes and has enjoyed plenty of success and red rosettes with us in Pony Club (qualifying for national dressage championships) and unaffiliated competitions — currently jumping 80cm to 1m. This year we have not done as much as I would have liked with A-levels.

Minx loves her jumping, is naturally forward-going, and carries herself to a fence. While she is safe and sensible and helps her jockey out, she is not a novice ride and would only suit a confident but quiet rider. She excels in a jump off. She is patient and well-mannered when out at shows. With PC activities she is happy to wait her turn and often goes last without fuss. She hacks alone or in company, is excellent in traffic, and is sensible in open spaces — happy to lead or follow.

On the ground, she’s affectionate and easy to handle, as long as she isn’t rushed. She has travelled in both trailer and lorry, currently lives out all year and turns out with mares or geldings but has been stabled previously.

Our daughter is off to university, and we have made the difficult decision to sell our wonderful Elmo.

Elmo is super chilled on the ground, with beautiful paces. He has jumped to 1m previously, and is jumping 80-90s with current rider. He will jump out of any stride and is bold and honest to a fence. He has previously competed in unaffiliated dressage, BS on a ticket and has been XC schooling.

He is a super affectionate horse, with a temperament to die for - think of a big, cuddly labrador.

He is good to do in every way: loads and travels well, good for the farrier and likes his hacking. He does not need to be ridden every day, and he has been produced slowly for his age. He is not a first horse for an inexperienced rider, and can occasionally spook, but is never naughty. He has loads of potential.

No known medical issues and clean legs. He has never been sick or sorry with us.

We will miss him terribly, and so we really do want to find the perfect caring new owner for him.
