  • 16.3hh handsome buckskin mare 5yrs
  • Great presence which would absolutely suit the hunting field
  • Would suit a lady or gentleman rider

Dolly is a headturner receiving compliments on her looks wherever she goes, she has great presence which would absolutely suit the hunting field.

Dolly is quite a forward ride for her type, and for her size does not ride big, therefore would suit a lady or gentleman rider. She is not a tricky ride and is comfortable and uphill to sit on.

Dolly has only recently started work in the school where she can canter laps in self carriage on the correct canter lead without continual help from the rider, and is starting to walk and trot on the bridle and pop a small fence. Her canter is small and collected underneath you which is easy and non tiring to sustain, more like a 15.2hh.

I backed Dolly last summer for her owner and she has since hacked alone or in company, and is used to all traffic etc but has just grown too big for her owner who has had her since a foal.

Dolly is a big girl, she is well behaved because she knows her manners. She is really easy for her age but as with any young horse she will need to continue with her education.

Dolly is good in all respects box shoe catch clip etc

Good fitted tack and rugs included.

The kind you dream about

Bella is the definition of a genuine horse who is very easy to own. Incredibly kind, willing, and a pleasure to have around, she’s happy living in or out and takes everything in her stride.

A quick learner with a fantastic attitude, she’s improving all the time and offers a lovely, eye-catching way of going. Safe, sensible, and as close to “bulletproof” as they come, she’s the perfect partner for someone wanting confidence and quality in one package.

Kind & straightforward
Quick to learn & eager to please
Great mover with lots of potential - forward with great paces
Safe, sensible & reliable

Over the last year I have done everywith Bella, and she has taken me from being a true beginner to being a confident, happy rider. We have done fun charity rides, regular weekly RC schooling, hunter trials 70/80, show jumping competitions 60/70, and endless hacking with my children on their ponies. I can ride and lead, i can sit my 3 year old on son on her, my 8 year old daughter can turn her out and bring her in. She is happy in or out, barefoot, and as low maintenance as you can imagine. VERY genuine reason for sale.

A real sweetheart who just wants to get on with her job and look after her rider. Truly heartbreaking sale, so serious enquiries only. Full wardrobe available.

PLEASE NOTE, BELLA IS NOT A PLOD ALONG COB. She is forward, sporty, and super fun, whilst being really safe. She has a beautiful big neck and as a result can feel heavy. Becuse of her type, she is not feather light in the hand.

She has a fantastic personality and a laid back attitude towards life. As everybody knows these types like her are getting very hard to find.

She puts her complete best into everything you ask of her. She will walk trot and cantering in the school but obviously green due to her age no harm in her what so ever.

Un phased by anything on the busiest of roads she used to all farm machinery. She is snaffle mouthed at all times.

She is a lovely flashy mover. Will live in or out.

Polly is an allrounder super cob, with so much potential and character. Polly is a calm ride, she has never tanked with me or been out of control, but she does get very excited going into fences. She is currently on loan to an equestrian college where she is doing all types of lessons with students. Polly is good to lunge in long reins and be long reined. Polly would be eligible for CHAPS and in the right hands would make a great horse in the show ring. She has been with her current owner for 5 years, in which time she also birthed a foal in 2023.

Polly is able to be isolated, but prefers to be able to see other horses in the field and yard. Out hacking she is better with other horses, but she is very happy to be taken away from others to be exercised and be schooled alone. She copes well with changes of environment and has been out to several competition venues on her own for unaffiliated dressage and pole work clinics. I’ve never hunted her or gone cross country as I prefer dressage, but she loves jumping and with the right training could do more.

Polly is very well behaved for a farrier, vet, dentist and physio. Her feet are bare and she’s always been sound footed. She loves being groomed and tolerates clippers. Polly travels well, but is not the perfect loader up a steep ramp - no matter what, she always goes in. Once in, she travels quietly and is happy being travelled alone or in company. The days where I was travelling her consistently, she was so much better at loading. I was told she was travelled in a trailer before I purchased her, and a previous owner who contacted me said she never had issues travelling her, so I have always put it down to our particular steep ramp.

Polly is very smart and a consistent routine pays off extremely well. She is happy to be caught when she knows the routine (e.g. in winter when she knows she’s being brought in for the nighttime), otherwise she can be a little mareish and decide she’s not in the mood. During the summer when she’s not coming in to the yard consistently every day, we keep a head collar on or pop one on when she’s having her morning feed to catch her later in the day. Food and treats are always the best bribe!

If you’re looking for a cob with huge ridden capabilities, the ability to jump and do dressage - Polly’s has this in heaps. She would also suit a family where there was more hacking available than I’ve ever had, as she would suit the happy hacker life. Polly is very much the sort of horse that loves familiarity, routines and established relationships. She has so much to give someone who has the time to build a relationship with her.

I’m only selling her due to the fact that I’m pregnant with my second child and I have kept her offspring to be my next horse, so I cannot give Polly the full attention she deserves. A good home is essential for this lovely horse.

I have know him since birth and owned him until he was 7 I broke him in. He is a lovely chap lovely temperament and always willing to please.

We have hunted him he was good on the field stood at the meet good with the hounds and jumps everything. He has been around a course of fences nothing phases him like fillers or anything has 3 lovely paces . Currently being ridden by a 15yr old girl .

In his current home for the last 3 years he has been on a farm so used to all animals and machinery hacks out alone or in company first or last.

I think he would prefer a active home doing a bit of everything. He is low mileage for his age so would suit more a confident experience rider.

Twix - approx 15.2, 6 year old Irish cob mare.

Super allrounder type that’ll go on to many jobs.

Good to hack, goes alone or in company, enjoys boxing up to go for a hack and pop a log in the woods. Good around the farm machinery here and not been bothered in any of the traffic we’ve met.

Works away happily in the field or the arena, she has the basics in the arena and is a smart little cob that would pop off and do a little dressage test with some more work on the schooling.

She has a super jump and is very brave, XC schooled with us and didn’t say no to anything.

Before coming over Twix has mainly hacked/done a little hunting/fun rides/xc. Schooling is what she’s done the least of so she’s green on the flat but a super fast learner and tries very hard to please.

Passed a 5 stage vetting before import and comes with the certificate. Open to further vetting if required.

A solid cob with nice conformation and good feet. Shod all round currently but could easily go barefoot. No lumps/bumps/scars.

Good to catch, load, travel, tack up, wash off.

Chunky Irish Cob - Weight Carrier
Confident, Bold, Safe, Dependable
Cracking Allrounder / Happy Hacker / Massive Confidence Giver
Ideal for nervous inexperienced rider or jockeys who want to ride at a slower pace.
Special Requirement / RDA

Kind, Well Mannered, Super Steady and Safe

Please don’t let her age put you off, she most definitely is wise and judicious beyond her years.

If your looking for a horse that has impeccable manners on the ground and when riding, something that is super safe, calm and not phased by anything, that is extremely low maintenance and can be looked after by a child, a horse with more whoa than go, dare I say it…… a bit of a plod, then look no further.

Despite only being 5 years she is so level headed and mature for her age, her laid back personality and attitude to life is 2nd to none.
Peaches is as straightforward as they come with absolutely no quirks or vices.

Peaches is a really nice calm considerate girl, who is unbelievably safe. Ideal for beginner riders, or riders who wants to progress and have some fun, she is super steady, calm and gentle in every way, she has more woah than go …..a bit of a plod, even tho she is super safe, she responds to the leg and has 3 excellent paces, with flare and enthusiasm, she is very sensible and can be forward going if your a more experienced rider, not spooky, sharp or silly in anyway, she is responsive to the leg if you can ride, whilst remaining calm and relaxed, she is extremely willing and will do anything you ask, she has 3 nice balanced super steady paces, she loves to jump a course of small coloured and rustic fences.

Peaches participates in our low level showjumping, cross country, In hand, fancy dress & handy pony competitions.
She is a firm favourite with our lead rein classes, special requirement and RDA rides, both ridden and during stable management and therapy sessions.

She is a fantastic all-rounder.

This is a really fantastic horse for anyone to build up their confidence, continue learning to ride and progress on.
Definitely a 1st and 2nd horse.

Exceptional mare with a heart of gold, she is super loving and affectionate, She has spent the 15 months working in a riding school where she has been ridden by all level riders, from complete beginners who have never sat on a horse before up to advanced riders where she participates in our flat work lessons, privates and groups, with the same enthusiasm now as when he first started her riding school career. She is very genuine and loves to hack out, she doesn’t pull, rush, spook or get nervous of anything, Peaches will hack through the heaviest of very fast moving traffic without batting an eye lid, she is not perturbed by any kind of vehicles or farm machinery.

Absolutely no vices, when ridden, in the stable or in the field and has brilliant manners enabling anyone to handle her safely and with ease, will stand for hours with no head collar or lead rope being groomed and bathed, she loves being pampered. She will stand patiently at a mounting block.

She has exceptional manners and ticks so many boxes for someone looking for a very safe easy Schoolmistress, with no ifs or buts.

She will hack out alone or in company through very heavy traffic without batting an eye lid. She is 100% safe, steady and collected when ridden in all paces across open fields, regardless of wether she is at the front, middle, back of the ride or on his own, she will not rush, pull, race or try an overtake even on the way home.

She lives out in a mixed herd but is equally happy to be stabled, she keeps herself to herself and never causes any trouble, she has no marish traits, isn’t clingy, she is happy to be stabled and turned out on her own.

Has excellent manners with the farrier and currently barefoot, she is equally happy to be shoed.
She is excellent to catch, load, travel with the farrier, dentist and vet.

She would give confidence to any rider/ handler when competing, cross country, showjumping, fun rides and beach rides.

She doesn’t need to be ridden every day she can go without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, she is extremely low maintenance.
He has never been lame had laminitis, sweet itch or sarcoids. No lumps or bumps. No Marish traits.

Passes are annual Licence Inspection which is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.

Womble
16.2hh
Cob
Massive weight carrier
Kind, Calm, Loving Chap

Womble is an impressive 16.2hh weight carrying cob, with a loving temperament and calm disposition. He is easy to handle on the ground and under saddle and is always well mannered.

Womble was purchased at 3 years old, turned out to mature, then professional broken at 3 years 10 months he was then introduced to the riding school setting where he was ridden by staff and competent clientele, he was a quick learner and settled into this very busy environment without any problems, he participated in our group and private lessons, working on the flat, over poles and progressed quickly onto lateral work, small coloured and rustic fences, although still relatively green in the school, he was eager to learn, though new to poles and certain ridden exercises, he approaches each new task with a genuine willingness and calm disposition. He is not spooky, spiny, sharp, strong or reactive—just still developing his understanding. As a blank canvas, he offers the perfect opportunity for an independent rider to guide his progress and help shape his education. With time and consistency, he shows promise in working in a soft outline, he is developing good balance, lateral movement, and responsiveness to aids. He also continued to improve over small fence and log with quiet enthusiasm.

Womble hacks out confidently alone or in company and is entirely unfazed by the most challenging environments. He remains calm when faced with heavy traffic, including buses, tractors, lorries, and large agricultural machinery. He will wait patiently at roundabouts or traffic lights and never reacts with fear or tension. On open ground, he stays composed at all paces, whether leading, following, or riding solo. He never pulls, rushes, or attempts to overtake—even when returning home.

His exceptional manners extend to every aspect of handling. Womble is easy to catch, groom, bath, load, clip, and handle for the vet, dentist, and farrier. He currently lives barefoot but has previously been shod and is comfortable with either. He stands quietly for long periods without any restraint, happily enjoying being groomed and pampered. Children regularly lead and handle him without issue, and he will calmly stand at the mounting block until the rider is comfortably in the saddle.

More recently, he has begun to show a dislike for arena work. I believe this is largely due to the amount of schooling he has been asked to do, with very little variety. As a result, he has become a little stale and reluctant to go forward in the arena, unfortunately we have limited hacking facilities, so arena work is prominently where we ride, as we don’t have access to bridleways—only grass verges alongside roads or extremely busy roads. Initially we felt that focusing on arena schooling would be the best approach however in hindsight a variation would have been more beneficial.

Womble absolutely thrives when hacking out and continues to perform exceptionally well, even in heavy, fast-moving traffic. He takes busy and challenging road environments in his stride and continues to excel in these situations. I feel he would really benefit from a break from arena work. However, as we are a riding school, arena work is our 1st point of call.
Unfortunately Womble is not earning his keep, hence the reduced price.

Womble is a genuine confidence-giver who can be left unridden for weeks or even months and still be safe and consistent when brought back into work. He is incredibly low maintenance. He has never suffered from laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or lameness, and has passed all annual riding school inspections with flying colours (equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting).

He currently lives out at night in a large mixed herd and stabled during the day but is equally content stabled or turned out full time, he is happy to be stabled / turned out solo, he is not clingy at all, he absolutely loves people and attention and adores a cuddle. He is quiet, independent, and never causes trouble in the field or stable. Being sold on behalf of a working livery.

Serious enquiries only. Please call or WhatsApp for more information or to arrange a viewing.

Nova is a 15.1 16 year old cob looking for a quite life due to her current 14 year old owner wanting to step up and progress

Nova will best suit a 24/7 turn out home, she will happily be stabled but much prefers to be out. Can be out with mares or geldings and has been previously turned out in a heard.

She is happy to go in the school every now and again but her favourite pass time is hacking. she is completely bomb proof and will hack for hours through water, traffic, open fields and never puts a hoof wrong !

In the school she is a forward ride and for this reason isn’t for a complete novice.

Nova does have an old knee injury which never causes her any issues but for this reason we would like her to be in a mostly non jumping home, however she is more than okay to do the odd cross pole or jump small logs or obstacles out hacking.

She can be a typical “mare” and can be sensitive at times when away from home and in new surroundings. Because of this, she does require sedation for clipping and dentist.

Nova is fab to load and travel and is really good for the farrier, she is up to date with all vaccines and had the dentist recently.

Can possibly come with tack thais an included in this price she’s just had a brand-new saddle that has been fitted

Please absolutely no time wasters as this is a really tough decision a young teenager has had to make and Nova was her first horse.

Please contact 07842550616 or 7514 874362? for more info. Endless videos and pictures of this gorgeous girl!

Tommy is a nice steady hack, he can have the occasional spook but would never tank off or spin. He is a perfect gentleman with others and will lead or follow. If you ride him on he will pass anything. He did hack out a loan at his previous home, however I have not done this as I like to hack with my buddy at the weekends for a chat etc.

We live in a very busy village so we see a variety of things, lorry’s, buses, tractors, bikes and pushchairs which he is good with.

Tommy works in in the school, we weee having weekly lessons until recently, been to away lessons, away camps (in-hand and ridden) forest rides, in-hand shows and low level dressage comps. Tommy was a late starter to all this however showed willing and behaved impeccably.

Tommy is good for the farrier, vet and physio, can be anxious with the dentist. I have never clipped Tommy as he has and amazing coat, not a hair monster

Tommy loads in his own time, never takes long, just likes to access the situation and then on he goes. Travels well.

Tommy is not a field trasher or fence breaker. He does like to be able to see a buddy. Very clean in the stable.

This is a very sad sale, and all I want is for Tommy to go to a lovely new home.

Freda is a rising 4 years old (DOB 06.05.22) maxi cob. Homebred foal from my Irish Draught mare, by a HW show cob stallion, Moon River (Connemara (Lecarrow King) x show winning maxi cob mare). Freda has been well-handled since a foal, and is growing into a lovely, substantial mare who is light on her feet.

She was lunged, long-reined and backed in the Autumn 2025 (video is day 3 of riding). She took everything in her stride and was hacking around the farm without company on day 5 of riding. With everything in place for this year, we turned her away to grow.

We brought her back into work, three weeks ago. She now has a strong foundation for her future and is confidently long-reining around the farm without company, including through the farmyard past farm machinery and lorries, stepping through puddles etc.

Quality heavyweight hunter or maxi cob in the making, ready to begin her work under saddle.

Turnfar Titanium Blue

If you want the wow factor but also have safety in mind then Bluey is your boy.

12.2, top class blue and white registered TGCA mini gypsy cob, rising 6, Junior coloured/open hoys potential.

This happy little chap is a real pleasure to have around and is a yard favourite. He’s very easy to handle in the stable, catch, and with the farrier. He also turns out alone or in company. Bluey will pretty much load himself into my 3.5ton wagon and travels like a dream.

He is great to hack and goes alone or in company and isn’t fazed by traffic/big vehicles. We hack him over a busy bypass bridge and he will canter in front or behind on the bridleway. He’s also very mannerly in the arena and goes in a lovely shape with three lovely balanced paces and always enjoys his work. Not spooky, sharp or silly and is very safe ride. My tiny 12yr old rides him and says she could ride his canter all day. I can’t say enough good things about this boy and he’s destined to make someone/family incredibly happy.

Bluey was very successfully shown inhand as a youngster with his previous owners and has had some great results and championship wins in very good company. Ridden wise his manners have been impeccable at the shows we’ve attended.

He got over 68% in his first ever dressage test, and has had some great results in TGCA classes qualifying for Toys and Pony of the year show with some very complementary feedback from every judge.

Bluey is a real eye catcher with movement to match with his abundance of mane, tail and feather he gets compliments every where he goes.

He’s up to date with vaccinations, teeth, farrier, worm count and physio.

I’ve lots of info and loads of pics/videos of him on request. He’s a very special boy who you can’t help but love and means a lot to us so know he will make a lovely addition to any family/yard.

Marlene

By First impression

A real smart type with good movement and plenty of limb. A type to suit many jobs!

She has such a lovely sweet temperament, very laid back to handle and deal with.

Shes just started being broken, lunging nicely with a roller on and just started long reining. Shes been a superstar with everything we have done so far and sure will be really straight forward to get on.

She shows amazing talent over a jump!

We will continue to break her, her price will increase the more she does.

Up to date with worming/feet/vaccines

Would consider an older pony and also any health issues aslong as they are well maintained before joining us with all details disclosed. Would also consider a younger pony but the temperament would need to be very quiet.
