Otis has successfully competed in all disciplines, including UA showjumping up to 1m, and eventing up to 90cm, he has a good BD record and has competed at many championships including BD combined training championships and area festival championships. He has recently been competing UA at elementary level scoring high 60’s with BD judges, this is so he is still eligible for RC teams and BD quest.

He has very good flat work and is the kind of horse you can put anyone on and he will give you a lovely ride. He isn’t phased by any fillers etc.

Otis has been on beach rides and fun rides, and although he goes up a gear he isn’t strong or silly. He hacks alone or in company and is good in traffic. He lives in or out. He has been in the same home since a 4yo and was purchased from his breeder, so his full history is known.

Otis will make a really fun allrounder for someone, he does have a slightly cheeky side although he isn’t at all malicious and hasn’t unseated anyone because of it, but no novices please.

After being let down and seriously mis-sold a horse I’m looking for something safe, sane and novice friendly to regain my confidence. Looking for something 9 years upwards and 14-15 hands.

Must be kind, gentle and easy to handle on the ground, especially around children as my grandchildren visit. Must be able to hack out alone and be bombproof on the roads.

Good to load travel farrier etc Not fussed about jumping as its not something I enjoy but do enjoy low level dressage / schooling. 5* home awaits on livery yard with excellent facilities, stables and daily turnout, very knowledgeable staff where they treat all horses like their own. If loan must be able to move yards.

Not able to share as cannot commit to regular days. Prefer something with substance but looks aren’t as important as manners and being a confidence giver.

I know I’m asking for the impossible but after the heart break of being let down to such an extent I really need to find my new best friend

The time has now come to find The wonderful Mr Ed his new forever home.

We have owned this fantastic horse, now aged 17, for over 9 years.

During this time he has been ridden by a wide range of teenagers and adults in our pony club centre, which sadly closed 10 months ago.

I had hoped to keep him forever but he is being wasted and has so much talent and experience still to give.

Ed is a stunning Irish bred, 16.2hh gelding who works beautifully on the flat, with placings at Unaffiliated Novice dressage and countless winnings Show jumping including Pony Club team SJ at Hickstead.

He pops round 100 tracks, happily taking a miss and always helping his riders out. Previously to us owning him, Ed hunted with Surrey Union.

Ed is 100 % in traffic and is an enjoyable, comfortable hack in company.

Ed makes all his riders look and feel fantastic. Everyone that has ever ridden him loves him.

He is the easiest horse to ride and jump and a really kind, genuine horse to do.

Something that doesn't need ridden every day and can be turned out with my mare and gelding (both retired!) 24/7 in good big fields with both manmade and natural shelter and good quality rugs (stables available but prefer living out). Because of this, and living in the North West of Scotland, nothing too fine please. Ideally something with a bit of native in it.

Good for vet, farrier, clip and on the ground.

No buckers, bolters, kickers etc etc........I'm too old for that!
