Jax is a very talented small horse who oozes presence in the arena. He combines the power and big movement of a warmblood with a sensible brain and strong work ethic.

Jax has three fantastic paces. He is currently working at elementary level at home and has won both dressage competitions that he has attended (Prelim and Novice). He has the ability and temperament to progress up the levels with ease. He has been on farm rides, jumping clinics, to the beach and hacks anywhere both alone and in company and is unphased by heavy traffic or large farm machinery.

Jax would be best suited to a competent, competitive teenager or small adult who is looking to enjoy a well rounded, safe horse with all the talent and experience ready to go out and win. He offers a unique opportunity for a rider to acquire a horse who has experienced competing in big atmospheres but without having a ridden record to restrict the level he can compete at. He is a responsive and forward ride with a great ability to collect. He is light in the hand with a fantastic, active hind leg and a great level of fitness without being sharp or silly. He is always ridden in a snaffle.

With his current owner, Jax has competed in carriage driving and has competed internationally all over Europe; coming 21st individually and 5th on the British team at the World Championships last year. However, throughout his driving career Jax has also been schooled under saddle and so is a well established ridden horse too. His career in the carriage is a real attribute to him as it has made him a very strong, accomplished and a level headed horse who has had the exposure to large atmospheres so they are second nature to him. Jax's behaviour when away from home is exemplary, he settles quickly into any new environment and enjoys being pampered!

Good to shoe, load, travel, vet, teeth, clip and is up to date with worming, vaccinations etc.

He has no health problems, clean legs and is only available due to the current owner’s personal circumstances.

Mayfair is a 15.2, 13yr old warmblood X Irish Draught.

May has competed in unaffiliated showjumping, XC and has hunted with the Taunton Vale (jumping some of the biggest hedges!) and has also hunted on the moor. She is a sure footed hardy type.

She is a forward going mare who is as brave as a lion, never says no and will jump off of any stride. She doesn’t hold a grudge if the rider makes a mistake.

She hacks out well alone and in company. She is good clip, shoe, catch etc.

However, she can be rude on the ground, never nasty but she will tow you around if you allowed her to.

Danny came to me with a view to get him out to a few shows and let him see the world, as although well trained, he had very little life experience away from home. The plan for his owners to carry on with him. Sadly this much loved and cherished horse is only up for sale as his breeder/owner has a young family and just cannot do everything.

Well I have had the most wonderful time producing this lovely, lovely horse, as time really wasn’t available to his owners and he had settled so well we continued to progress and develop his confidence.

At the recent winter regionals at Chard, in truly awful conditions, Danny managed to secure a ticket to the nationals at Elementary silver freestyle, he gained just shy of 70% with a flying change and a slight sat nav error from myself. We will be heading to the Champs at Addington to have another go at the final without the errors!

Prior to the regionals in February I spent the autumn/winter training with Danny at Advanced\PSG level, whilst also getting him to more shows for him to continue developing his confidence in the arena.
The autumn started with a party away from home at Duchy college, where he was outstanding at his first stay away, to take the Elementary championship over the two days, finishing in yet again horrendous weather!
After this we started his campaign at freestyles, this he has taken too like a duck to water, so he now has his own music!
The end of last year culminated with him having a spin around his first Advanced Medium, achieving a very respectable 66.6%.

Ideally looking for a young rider, or a smaller rider as Danny has a slender build, (I’m 5’4”), we feel he would be best suited with someone who has consistent professional back up that wants to progress and continue his training from where he is, as opposed to being a schoolmaster.

ROSIE (Arumadaay- Adaay X Rum Swizzle). Beautiful, rising 5 year old, 15.1hh, bay, TB, mare.

Rosie is seeking a new home where she can continue to enjoy learning to progress in all disciplines.

Same home since birth, so full history known. Rosie was foaled and reared at Red Kite Stud in Rockbourne. She was backed in 2022, followed by three months of professional pre-training. She commenced training with Eve Johnson Houghton, and ran her first and only race on 18th January 2023.

Having made the decision not to continue her racing career, her owners moved her to Kentford Farm Stud where she was turned away until August 2024, after which she began training as a riding horse.

Rosie’s owners have put considerable effort into ensuring that she has a positive early education. She been professionally schooled over the past few months to ensure that she gets off to a good start. She hacks well and has seen a variety of farm machinery and other vehicles with no problems. She has been polite to canter out in open fields and very brave to hack out by herself.

In the school, she is coming along nicely and tries very hard to do as her rider asks. Begun some lateral work and works well in her basic paces. A very attractive mover with three active and correct paces, Rosie should do well in the future in the dressage arena. Begun jumping and is happy to pop a small fence.

Rosie has a very sweet nature on the ground and enjoys a fuss. She really needs to be someone's one and only now. Not suitable for a novice rider due to her age and experience. She is a sensitive little mare who tries really hard for her rider and will be best suited to a gentle and experienced older teenager or small adult to produce for any activity. Lovely little horse with so much to offer her new home.
