Stalagmite

Georgie (Stalagmite ) is 7yr old 16.3 bay pure bred thoroughbred mare. She started her life as a racehorse, so is eligible for all ROR classes. Before coming to her current owner who unfortunately has had a change of circumstances which is why this is a heartbreaking sale. So no time wasters.

Georgie is a very forward going mare. She is in a eggbutt snaffle and isn’t strong in any way. She would excel in dressage or showing as has 3 beautiful paces. Jumping is not Georgie’s discipline , therefore would not be suitable for a home wanting that.

She is a bit spooky but is very safe therefore would thrive under a confident quiet rider. She hacks alone or in company. The type of horse where you see what you get and it doesn’t matter if she is ridden 7 days a week or twice a week. Although she thrives when she has a job so would prefer the first!

She is very happy in her stable but would happily live out too , she is currently in a field with 3 other horses but has had individual turn out previously. Brilliant with the dentist a farrier. A little nervous when clipping but not dangerous , she hasn’t been loaded in a couple of years due to her owner not wanting or needing to. So this might need work. She doesn’t kick or bite and lives for attention from her person. She is genuinely a lovely person inside and out. Great to catch and handle. Never had a lame day.

‘KC Molly Malone’ is looking for her next person… this one might break my heart a little bit .

Molly is a 17h 11yo ISH mare, she is a powerful forward mare to sit on and has been super consistent BS jumping up to foxhunter with 321 points and £762 winnings. She has current qualifications for blue chip, newcomers second rounds and amateur championships. She rarely has a pole and is frequently in the money and that is just jumping alongside the eventing. Consistently in the prizes newcomers and foxhunter and ready to step up.

Molly is horse I am hugely fond of and have enjoyed producing so much. Last show out she won a newcomers and jumped a foxhunter double clear. She has an abundance of talent but isn’t going to progress eventing without a natural love of XC. She is so careful and competitive showjumping that this is really where she should be focusing and I don’t have the time to do this justice at the moment, she should be going to stay away shows and progressing up the grades quicker than I can manage.

She has scope to burn, has been well educated on the flat and jumped double clears novice eventing.

Molly is incredibly quiet and easy on the ground and at a show, a lovely character that is a pleasure to look after. She is a tough mare who hasn’t taken a lame step on the four years that I’ve owned her.

Things to consider… She did have a nap in her when I bought her which wasn’t disclosed, this has basically disappeared, this doesn’t show itself SJ and she now happily hacks on her own, it only rears its head XC at an event which is why I feel like a career change is best for her. She wears a nose net between roughly march-October.

Molly would suit a competent amateur brilliantly wanting to be competitive, or for a pro wanting a horse ready to go and progress with.
If she doesn’t find the right home I will happily keep her, continue jumping her and at some point breed beautiful babies.

Tally is a 15yo 17h gelding by Campbell VDL ex Animo. He has competed in the past in FEI young horse classes showjumping and then went on to compete up to advanced medium dressage in Europe. He has spent the last few years as a schoolmaster but very low milage and he has plenty more to give again.

He has beautiful uphill floaty paces, knows his job including changes and really enjoys his jumping.

We have taken him recently to Felbridge for a clear round day to get him back in the ring and he really enjoyed being out a show again, he could give someone a lot of fun jumping or learning on the flat.

She doesn't ride big, she's snaffle mouthed at all times, completey uncomplicated ride very easy and adjustable does perfect changes . She's anyone's dream horse . She's comfortably jumping NC and has all her double clears for next year with amateur (small lady) But plenty more in the tank ready to step up to foxhunters .

We've jumped her round 1.35. she's super brave and very careful. Rosie will excel in anything she does.
