Superb quality mare with some excellent breeding, properly produced and showjumped upto 1.15 in her youth where she then went on to produce some excellent foals for 5 years (only due to not wanting to jump higher, however due to her lovely temperament her owner didn't want to sell her).

Since purchasing Jet in october she has been an absolute dream to do anything on the ground with always being polite and patient. She was super easy to get back into work and showed her quality straight away. However due to work commitments i was not able to give her the time she needed and she lost her fitness.

Over the last week she has been led alongside another horse out hacking where she was also impeccably behaved. She can nap when hacking alone but will go. However in company she's super and will go first or last, quite happy to plod along at the back.

She is not fit or strong enough so is sold from the feild, viewings are welcome.

Sam is a compact, athletic Irish Sports Horse with a kind temperament and proven talent across all three disciplines.

Bought as a first horse for my 13-year-old son, Sam has been a safe, trustworthy partner and best friend giving my son tonnes of wins and lots of fun but sadly now for sale due to GCSE’s and other sporting commitments.

Sam is gentle and kind to manage, completely safe for my son to compete and for me to hack. Hes not strong and is always ridden in a snaffle

Sam loads himself into a trailer or lorry, hacks alone or in company and is happy to leave his field mate or be left alone at home. He ties up and stands quietly at competitions, is perfect to clip, shoe and catch, Sam comes when called.

He hasnt put a foot wrong with us, and the value I place on his behaviour to keep us safe is priceless.

Competition Experience
Our main focus has been Tetrathlon, where Sam has consistently given my son penalty-free rounds within time and over technical 90cm XC courses, including gate and slip rail obstacles.

Sam has ensured my son was selected each year to represent South West and England at Junior Internationals and in 2025 was chosen by the Northern Irish team to compete at Windsor giving his new rider a faultless round after only a short introductory warm-up together.

Sam has done everything a teen could want:

- Wins at BS Showjumping 1m+
- Success in BS Just 4 Schools, Pony Club Eventing, Team Chase and Hunter Trials (90cm and 1m) qualifying for Eland Lodge Championships and clear around the 1m course
- Attends training camps, handled solely by my son and always behaves impeccably in new stables and venues
- Beach rides, fun rides camping trips behaving well
- This year, my 13-year-old daughter rode him at BS Nationals, jumping double clears in all classes.

Flatwork & Dressage
Dressage has not been our focus, but Sam has three established correct paces that are consistent. We have only scratched the surface of his capability but he would produce a decent test right now and this would improve greatly with training.

Very sad sale of much loved 10 year old homebred. IE Mr McGregor has been slowly produced up the levels whilst having numerous wins along the way.

He is very established at BE Novice, including two wins and two 2nd places. We feel he would make a very good & competitive schoolmaster showing someone the ropes.

He is well put together with excellent conformation and despite his bigger frame, he is quick and light on his feet. Polite and established both on the flat and jumping, whilst proving on multiple occasions he is more than quick enough across the country and regularly produces tests in the 20's.

He had a chip removed from his off fore coffin joint last October on vets recommendation. Has since been correctly rehabbed and is back to full fitness . Full set of x-rays pre and post op are available.
