An outstanding model of a Connemara.

We imported him last year as a late starter and have produced him along.

He has 3 correct paces and shows a good jump. More of a leg on type than a sharp one.

Has hunted and was mannerly in the field and sensible standing and jumped well.

Started competing at SJ and been placed. Although Green shows a useful jump and jumps fillers etc.

Competed at first dressage test where he was incredibly mannerly. Having never seen whiteboards he tried very hard. Is starting to work in a better frame.

Very bold XC jumped everything with style and showed plenty of quality and scope. Ditches, water, steps all no problem for this chap.

Will make a lovely WH/BE/BS prospect in time. Snaffle mouth.

Hacks alone and in company.

Upto date with teeth, physio, vaccinations.

Was vetted prior to import. No medical history.

Stunning looks and friendly on the ground.

Due to him being a late starter he isn’t for a novice rider as still requires schooling he is no Valegro yet! But is ridden and competed by children.

A super smart, quality gelding with a fabulous outlook and a very versatile profile – a horse that would suit a wide variety of ambitions and is equally appealing for grassroots eventing, riding club activities, hunting or an all-round competition home.

A full Thoroughbred, though very much not your typical fine or weak type. He has substance, presence and a quality sports horse look about him, often passing as more of a traditional sport horse model. Importantly he is not ROR eligible, having never been in race training.

Bred at Gatcombe Park before being purchased by his current owners as a two-year-old, with his full history known. His dam competed as an event mare, whilst his sire was noted for his jumping ability, and he certainly reflects those attributes in both his attitude and natural athleticism.

A very handsome gelding with an excellent way of going. He works in a correct rhythm with a purposeful walk, a balanced and forward-thinking trot and a naturally uphill canter that is easy to maintain. He gives a lovely feel under saddle and is an enjoyable, uncomplicated ride.

He has jumped around courses of 80/90cm and proves to be an incredibly genuine and forgiving type over a fence. He is very much a push-button ride, happily helping his rider out and taking a miss without becoming offended or sharp. He has all the foundations to continue producing in the right hands and would make a very smart grassroots event horse.

Out hacking he is reliable and well exposed. He hacks alone and in company, is sensible in traffic and has seen plenty of village life and general activity. He has also travelled away to clinics and arena hires, proving straightforward and easy to take out and about.

He has been ridden by a teenager, further highlighting his rideability and versatility across different riders.

On the ground he is a lovely horse to have around with a kind personality and easy nature. Good to clip, excellent in the stable and travels particularly well on a lorry. He is better on a lorry than a trailer. Good to trim and handle, though he does require a small amount of sedation for shoeing (not IV sedation).

A genuine, attractive and likeable horse with plenty still to offer and the attitude to excel in numerous spheres.

"Kilbrackan Cavalier" stable name Charlie is approx 16.2hh 12yrs old gelding Irish Sports Horse. Full breeding recorded.

He has competed up to 1.20 and his owner has jumped him for the last 7 years from 90cm to 1.10.

Charlie has been the ultimate allrounder for his current owner who has owned him since he was 5yrs old. This is a heart breaking sale for her due to personal circumstances and a young family, so a 10* home is absolutely paramount.

He has three lovely balanced uphill paces and stays in a consistent rhythm. He always comes home in the ribbons with his owner.

Charlie has a lovely temperament and is a fab boy to do anything with. He has three lovely balanced uphill paces. He has plenty of scope jumping and has competed in multiple disciplines. He has 123 SJI points, he has competed in riding club teams, qualified and competed at Dublin horse show where he was unphased by the atmosphere of such a big show. He has competed in eventing, Dressage and hunter trials. He hunted with his previous owner.

His owner hacks him in open spaces, along the lanes past traffic etc and he is used to lots of dogs running around him.

Charlie is a competition blood horse so therefore wouldn't suit a novice, nervous or less experienced rider.

He'd be best suited to a confident, competent rider who wants a horse they can be competitive with and come home in the ribbons.

He has been there and got the T shirt, so if you're looking for a slightly older horse to go out and have the craic with, he could be your boy.
