Ruby is a homebred mare and she didn't start her competition career until she was 8. This was due to the fact that there was no available rider to compete her so I hacked her about and she was mainly a leisure horse. Because of that she is extremely low mileage.

She evented last year with a friends teenage daughter and moved up from 90 to 100 while she was learning on the job, gaining placings. This year she has mainly done 100 and was clear round her first Novice. She was also placed 3rd recently in a 2* combined training for eventers.

She has extremely flashy paces and a big engine. She scores highly on the flat and is established in her medium paces and also her changes.

Her showjumping is scopey and brave and she is not phased by new fillers. She is easy to ride to a fence and is long striding for a small horse so makes the distances easily.

She is fast and brave cross country and jumps all the usual things you would expect to find xc inc ditches, skinnies corners, water etc.

She is well behaved, hacks alone or in company, is not mareish, stands on the lorry and is good in the collecting ring. Excellent to shoe, clip, lead etc.
She does however windsuck!

She would suit a competent teenager or small adult. She is a very loved homebred so home is paramount. Price includes everything bridles, bits, boots, rugs, but NOT saddle.

Jerry is a through and through schoolmaster. He is the most reliable consistent horse you could wish for. With a fantastic eventing record to 3* level - showname ‘Jerry’! Regularly double clear.

Jerry has been in the same home for the last 7/8 years. Genuine reason for sale. He is incredibly loved and his whole history is known with no past injuries or vetinary quirks.

Jerry really could not be a more genuine horse. He is snaffle mouthed at all times and really is anybody’s ride. Always tries his heart out and can always trust him to get you from a to b whether that’s in showjumping or xc. He likes a bit of leg and isn’t a sharp type, he’s too polite for that!

As he is in everything he does, he is also a gentleman on the flat, with a lovely soft mouth & frame and established lateral work & changes etc he really is the best horse to teach someone through the levels.

He hacks out alone or in company, can have a week off and be hopped on and be absolutely no different.

Jerry does windsuck but he just wears a collar for this and doesn’t affect him. Otherwise he could not be a more perfect boy.

This is a truly heart breaking sale. Fred has been part of our family since he was a 4-year-old and my two daughters and I have each shared unforgettable moments with him. He is one of those rare horses who adapts effortlessly; kind, generous and always ready to give his best and has been like that from the start.

Originally purchased for my tall, competitive eldest daughter (then 15) to event, to continue her riding journey after ponies. However, when she decided to give up, I simply couldn't part with him, knowing my youngest would be onto horses soon enough. Instead, he and I enjoyed a wonderful season field mastering for the Bloodhounds, and he has joined me sporadically since. Only last week, after more than a year out of the saddle, he Field mastered and carried me safely and happily around some BE Novice hedges at Blindley Heath; the sort of day that reminds you just how special he is. I can get hunting references.

When my younger daughter came off ponies, although he was big and young for her, I always knew she would be safe on him and they could learn together as he is such a kind soul. Together they have grown in partnership, learning the ups and downs of the sport and having fun and fantastic success. They have had the normal blips competing that any young teenager would have but they are now consistently finishing top 10. He has been bought on slowly whilst he was still growing and strengthening and they have taught each other so much. They were selected to represent the South East Youth Squad at Bishop Burton in 2024 and have had many confident, consistent runs and placings at BE90, 100, 105 and now Novice level. He has had a quiet season this year due to GCSE's and a poorly/stressed jockey that really struggled at the first part of the year with many things un horse related and just did not need the pressure of competing.

Fred works beautifully on the flat and performs a lovely dressage test. Across country, he is brave and utterly reliable; a true machine. Show jumping has always been their most challenging phase (he never stops, he has had poles in the past) mainly due to small jockey on a big horse and learning this discipline is so different on a horse, but they now have consistent clears Show jumping.

Beyond eventing, Fred would equally excel as a dressage horse, or as an outstanding hunter or masters horse. He is bold and genuine over timber and hedges, clever on the ground, and always mannerly and happy to lead; the perfect mix of fun and dependability. A mother/daughter share of both eventing and hunting roles would also be a very realistic option.

Sadly, as every horse-loving family knows, these are the hardest decisions to make. Fred is only for sale as my daughter loves backing and producing and we have another one coming through, now at college, time/costs do not allow for competing more than one horse. Fred deserves a wonderful new home where he will continue to be loved (homes will be vetted), enjoyed and appreciated for the kind gentleman he is. He would be the perfect horse to teach a jockey coming off ponies and wanting to do U18's, 'no' is not in his vocabulary, he is safe, moves beautifully, is dependable but with enough about him to be fun. He has been ridden and produced by a competent teenager and so is forgiving and I would put him now in the 'school master' bracket. He stands out as a stunner where ever he goes! He is easy to do in all ways and is one who will be totally loved. He is safe for a teenager to handle and do entirely by themselves.

Endless photos and videos but everything is on my daughters insta..
He will only go to an exceptional, knowledgeable home.

Compact and smart horse. Successfully evented up to 4* level, jumping clear xc at Burnham Market, Aston and Blair 4* shorts and completing Blenheim 4* Long in 2023.

He does have an old tendon injury, which has been stem celled, rehabbed and correctly brought back into work. The vets were very happy with his last scan and given the go ahead to start eventing again, has done 3 events this season and leg looks very good.

Has had a quiet year as I broke my wrist in the Spring, so had been ticking over with a 17yo boy who works part time for us. He then took him to Chard GoBE100 and finished 2nd, before jumping double clear at West Wilts 100open with just time faults dropping him out the top 10.

Whilst we feel it’s not fair to try and get him back to 4* level he still has a lot to give someone, whether its pure dressage or show jumping or low level event (we think maybe 100/Novice/2*).

Super paces and scored 31 at 4* level and 27 at 3*, double clear at Advanced and lots of placings at intermediate level.

Super easy to do at home and at events, hacked out by his owner who’s mid 70s.

Lovely character and person.

Very good to shoe, clip, load etc

ARTIC FURY- Arthur is a homebred out of a 4* mare by heraldik. He’s taken well to eventing in his first season proving to enjoy it and be a very straightforward horse.

He quite happily goes on any stride and always produces a sweet test with a lot more to come the stronger he gets.

A pleasure to deal with on the yard or at a competition. Hacks alone or in company and good in traffic. Good to clip and for the farrier.

Would suit a lot of people and a horse not to be missed.

Harbour town, 11yo 16hh/16.1hh TB gelding.

Evented successfully up to intermediate/3* S & L level before being sold to an amateur. Had a couple season showing an amateur rider, new to eventing, the ropes at 100/Novice before the rider picked up an unrelated injury and had to stop riding.

2025 has been very consistent at Novice/2* ready to step back up to intermediate.

Produces a very nice consistent test and has a great aptitude for the upper level work.

Consistent SJ and a forward going ride XC

Great performance in the TB class at Cornbury last week and has the potential to be very competitive in that class next year.

Doesn’t require much veterinary work or any fancy shoeing. He’s never been lame, sick or sorry.

Genuinely think he’s a potential junior/YR team horse for a competent rider, but very happy at the lower levels as well.

So many amazing things to say about this horse. He really is anybody’s dream horse. He has the scope & carefulness & natural speed to be a very exciting horse in the showjumping scene. Equally can be very confident he could keep progressing further up the levels eventing. Not many horses I truly think could go to top of naional level in both. But he is also kind and honest enough to teach a young rider and take them up the levels. He’s a fantastic hunter as well, he really has got everything going for him.

Maverick has jumped many times on a ticket BS, rarely ever having a fence. More recently has been registered and jumped clear in both his first foxhunters with ease and schooled round a course of 1.30/1.40 at home easily. He’s super careful, rarely ever touches a fence, naturally quick and competitive too. Yet to find a fence too big for him and he’s also bred for the jumping job with heartbreaker lines. He also will very happily take a miss and very easy to ride always in a snaffle.

Maverick has also evented up to novice level and truly believe this is just scratching the surface for him. A couple initial greener runs xc on his record ‘Keeford loveheart’ but since then has really taken it all on board and is such an exciting horse.

Maverick has also jumped some huge country out hunting. He definitely doesn’t lack jump and just loves the job. Such a fun horse through and through. Hacks alone and in company and just a gent all round.

Clean X-rays & open to all vettings.

Royal Luxery (“Lux”) is an 8yo 165cm ISH gelding with top bloodlines, who has been produced steadily by a young lady with professional support.

Competed his first BE season this year showing real talent with double clears round strong BE100 tracks, qualifying for 2 badminton regional qualifiers in the space of only two months. Genuinely believe he will go to the top as he is so brave and will jump anything. Lux also has a successful BSJA record with consistent clears jumping easily round newcomers ready to progress further. Currently he has 242 BSJA points and 7 BE foundation points. This year he also produced good results in working hunter and showing classes, proving his versatility in any discipline.

Lux has very clean confirmation and no history of injuries etc with all vaccinations and teeth up to date. Lovely nature and temperament, very easy to handle. 3 good straight paces. Super careful jump.

Has quietly hunted through the winter with the Mendip farmers and has proved to be good with hounds, well behaved at the meet and throughout the day jumping whatever is put in front of him. He’s now done 1 training event & some arena eventing.

Has been produced quietly with the future in mind. He goes in a nice outline in walk & trot but is weak in his canter still however he is improving all the time and has not been hammered in the school!

Good to hack in open fields & on the roads in traffic. Good to do in all ways.

Would be a super kind horse for an experienced amateur to produce.

  • Mother / Daughter Share, lovely kind temperament and easy to do.

Murphy is a smart quality young horse that is now looking for his new home where he can continue his education and have lots of fun, he is a real poppet and a total superstar in whatever you ask of him and has a bright future ahead.

Murph is a yard favourite, he is easy to do in all ways, snaffle mouthed with the sweetest nature and very genuine.

He has three lovely paces, hacks alone or in company and has proved to be very sensible in all traffic that he has seen including farm machinery.

He has been SJ and XC schooling, Hunted in Ireland and recently autumn hunting here too. He is so very willing and takes everything in his stride, while always having a smile on his face. He has a fabulous natural jump being very careful with plenty of scope to go up the levels.

He would be ideal for someone who wants to put their own stamp on a quality compact little horse with a lovely temperament. He has the potential to BE/BS in the right hands or equally will be a lovely event/ allrounder and would also do well in the show ring.

He has no vices, lives in or out, travels alone or in company and good with the farrier.

No novices as he is still green and need further education, in the right home he will go far.

For sale on behalf of a client.
Genevieve has shown herself to be an adept allrounder with all three main disciplines. She has evented (unaff) to 90 cm and show jumped to the same level but she still needs more confidence to excel. She would make a lovely Grassroots horse - she has however been concentrating on developing her dressage career. She qualified for the BD Regional Finals at Prelim after only two outings with wins and second placings every timeout. At the Regionals she was placed in the top half of the silver section. We anticipate that she can go forward at Novice in time for the next round of Regionals later this year.

Her temperament is sweet and affectionate and she needs a kindly and confident rider to encourage her. She has the forgiving temperament that would make her a good Para mount. Her tremendous walk would suit her well for Grade 1 tests.

Good in every way from the ground, she loads well and will happily stand in the lorry all day without fretting even when her mates are taken out or put in.

Good to shoe and clip (she loves it) she is easy to do in the stable.

This is a very sad sale by her doting owner who now finds herself overstocked. This is a valuable mare with a great future but a good home is more important than price and she is priced for a quick sale.

Horses like Connie do not come up for sale often. This little mare has taken me on a journey I never expected would be a reality.

Connie is fantastic on the ground. Hacks alone, in company and on the road. Easy to shoe, clip and handle.

Connie is a genuine little mare who adores competing. She loves her job and makes competing a dream. She will travel and stand on the lorry with no problems, is used to stay away shows and settles quickly into temporary stables. Connie is a consistent mare who is achieving over 70% in Novice and Elementary dressage tests and Low-Sub 30s in eventing.

We have a great BE record showing she is a Double Clear horse in both 90 and 100 classes. She takes on Championship classes in her stride and has the potential to be a Grassroots horse. Furthermore, Connie is something else when it comes to cross country, She is the perfect combination of safe and fun, leaving you to enjoy the round.

Connie has been there and got the T-shirt. She is only for sale due to a change in owners circumstances and this decision has not come lightly. Therefore, serious enquires only please

Beautiful Belgian warmblood, with big flashy paces, and a scopey careful jump. Has evented BE100 with previous owner, and jumped up to Foxhunter.

Hacks out alone or in company. Good to do in all ways, travels in trailer or lorry. Lives in or out, good doer.

Home is more important than price as lack of time sadly forces sale. Custom made Tack available at separate negotiation. Wouldn’t suit a pure dressage home as he loves his jumping too much! Not suitable for nervous/ novice.

Castlerichmond BB (stable name Bea) Has done lots of British Showjumping, Team Chased up to intermediate speed, Combined training and Evented round CC and GoBE90 with scope to go up the levels. I’ve taken more of an interest in BS this year and we had 2nd place at Hickstead and also qualified for the National 1.05m Championship at the British Showjumping National Championships.

Good to clip, shoe, load and hack alone or in company etc

Sad sale due to lack of time and change in circumstances.

Would suit a confident amateur as not a novice ride and forward going rather than a kick along!

5* home only as she is very special to me- please no time wasters!

Would not pass a 5 stage vetting which is reflected in her price- has a heart murmur which has been scanned by a cardiologist.

Comes with full wardrobe including bridle and Ideal saddle.

Gilltown Mermus is a super, beautiful 7yr old mare by the famous stallion, Mermus R. Her sire has produced numerous top level horses at both 5* eventing and 1.50 level show jumping. Her Dam, Garthy Diamond Malt is by Chacoa, so this mare really is bred in the purple for jumping.

Perry has been an incredibly consistent horse on the British Show Jumping circuit for us and when she is on the lorry, we know we will be coming home with prize money and a rosette or two. She would be the dream addition to a yard of anyone who is wanting to be competitive week in, week out. She has been a serial winner at British Novice and Discovery level and is now happily out competing at Newcomers/1.10. She is already qualified for Discovery Second Rounds in 2025, jumping four out of four double clears and ready for someone to go and be competitive Winter, with just shy of £400 in winnings and 180 points on her CV to date.

She is snaffle mouthed in every phase and works beautifully on the flat. Perry hacks out alone and in company, travels solo or with others and is a general pleasure to have around. In addition to her extensive BS record, since we bought her as a four year old, she has cross country schooled, hunted, competed arena eventing, unaffiliated one day events and dressage.

A special home is required this wonderful mare, who we think so much of.

Mouse has jumped to Newcomers with scope to go much further. She is exceptionally careful, wants to clear the fence and is fast against the clock. I had wanted to keep her to jump, but have to face the fact that given how busy I am with the event horses, I just do not have the time to be out competing her regularly.

The 1st video is from last weekend which was her first time out since April due to the event season being too busy. She went straight out and won the 1.10m having been mainly hacked by someone else at home.  She knows her job and so can just be got on to go and is competitive straight from the start.

For no reason other than I have been flat out with my event horses, she has been picked up and put down, she is still eligible for Discovery giving someone the opportunity to start there with her and then progress if they wanted to. She has got 2 of her Discovery and Newcomers Double Clears.

Having been produced in an event yard she is well schooled on the flat making her very rideable between the fences. She had evented and would happily do so as her job. The only reason I am not continuing with her is because she doesn't have the flashy movement on the flat that is required of an event horse if they are going to win at top level and having completed a few 5*'s now, that is what my next generation of horses need to be aiming to do. She is brave and straight, good on her angles and knows her basic lateral work on the flat.

She needs a competitive rider. She is not difficult, but is definitely a competition horse and not for someone wanting a steady, quiet hack. She has enough about her to want to do her job and win.

Travels well and loads easily. Lives in or out, alone or in company. Good to shoe etc. hacks alone or in company.

Lovely compact athletic horse

Bred and produced by us, so full history known. Would make a very competitive Badminton Grassroots horse, has been in the top 10 of all his 100 runs this year except one. Has run at Novice level but was a little green, with more experience and time will certainly be competitive at this level too.

Always scores well in the dressage, with a nice even and light contact. Bold, brave and polite cross country, goes in a snaffle for all three phases

Easy enough for an amateur. Would step up to 2* next year if staying with us. Very good to do at home and events, hacks alone or in company. Good to shoe, clip, load etc

Dutch is a lovely young horse, with a super temperament. He was professionally started and thoughtfully produced over the summer. Dutch has attended several BYEH qualifiers, narrowly missing out on qualifying score. He's jumped clear rounds at 90cm, attended numerous arena hires, and has been xc schooling showing a brave and bold attitude.

He has three balanced paces with a partially comfortable canter and is soft in the mouth. Dutch offers a lovely feel and is ready to continue his education in many disciplines.

Competed mainly as a stallion and was gelded a couple of months ago for sale purposes.

Offered for sale on behalf of his owners due to a change in circumstances. Homebred full history known.

No novices please due to his age.

Plenty of videos available. Please call for further details.

Ecco

I can’t say one negative thing about this super star mare - she is just fantastic. I have been very half hearted in selling her as she is just so easy to have around, she is the nanny to everything and everyone, she has been ridden by 7 yr olds to 70 yr olds (that haven't ridden in 10 years). But she is also a little super star in the ring and will go on to be a fantastic Badminton Grassroots horse and easily has the scope for Novice. She would also make a really good Intermediate worker.

She is very straight forward at a show and isn’t phased by the razzmatazz of a big show (pipe bands no problem!) She is really brave but sensible, she is one of the most naturally good xc horses we have ever had in, has definitely been here before! Jumps everything for fun. She will do a very solid Dressage test as has a great rhythm and attitude.

2nd Fife Show Novice Working Hunter
1st Kinross Show 80cm Working Hunter and Champion Working Hunter
4th Scone Palace International Novice Working Hunter (40+ in the class and 20 clears forward to be ridden)
She has also been placed at Foresterseat Hunter Trial and Arena Eventing and Show Jumping. We have been careful not to over compete her as she is still young but everything she does she does really well.

A lovely old fashioned family horse that can turn her hoof to anything. She would be ideal for someone wanting a lovely horse to give them confidence. I would like her to go to a home that likes to jump as she is so good at it! It would be lovely to see her at Badminton Grassroots, HOYS in the Workers, Pony Club Champs or the Cotswold Cup – she would take it all in her stride.
Good to hack, clip, travel and no vices. Turns out with mares and geldings never marish.

She is a lovely kind horse that instils loads of confidence she doesn't need to be ridden every day she is always lovely to do.

Elvis is a lovely stamp of a horse! He is an attractive, young, very fun and willing horse who has an exciting future ahead of him whether it is showjumping or eventing. He will be good for anyone who wants to produce a young horse for the future and make him their own.

He has been produced slowly and has competed at 70/80/90cm showjumping and has had several double clears at those heights and has also been cross country schooling. He has so much scope and potential to move up the levels. Elvis has also been doing some combined training and did his first dressage test at Prelim 3.

Elvis is a forward thinking horse who enjoys jumping. He makes a lovely shape over the fences and is not phased by fillers. He is very easy to be taught new things, takes it all in stride and is a quick learner.

He has got 3 flashy and eye catching, balanced paces and has a very comfy canter.

He is easy to do in all ways e.g taking out to the field, could be walked by a young girl or boy. He hacks alone and in company and has been schooled by a 15 year old girl as well as his owner. Where ever we go he always catches people’s eye!

Whitehawk la vie en rose also known as mango at home is loved by everyone who knows her, easy going temperament on the ground and when being handled. Will stand on the box all day at events.

Currently out BE and gained two badminton regional qualifier tickets.

Chillington BE90 - double clear finished on dressage score of 25 finished 4th
Little downham - double clear with a few time to add, finishing 3rd
Chillington BE90 regional double clear to finish on dressage score of 32.8
Stepped up to 100 this year proving bold and confident, would be a very competitive grassroots horse or equally would go up the levels.

Still able to jump British novice out BS, although her showjumping phase is her weakness she continues to improve within this discipline, quick learner and loves her job. Mango would turn her hoof to any discipline, has 3 balanced uphill paces although still green in places she has much potential to give and she gives you her all.

Has hunted with the readyfield and cranwell bloodhounds, however would need a confident strong rider.

Good to hack alone or in company, not fussed by any big machinery.
Good to clip (can be funny with her ears), dentist, farrier (can sometimes be fidgety), vets, physio
Will load on a 3.5 and 75tonne lorry, not tried on a trailer before but don’t think it would be an issue.
Never been lame or had any medical issues with us
Can sometimes be horse shy in warmups

Extremely sad sale of this well loved mare due to owner having a change in career.
Would suit competitive amateur/confident teenager but can still be green in places due age, will only go to the best of 5* homes.
