Wanted genuine horse/pony for a fun varied life. Mainly for experienced, ridden all her life mum to hack out with children and ponies and alone around our quiet country tracks and lanes. Must be safe to hack in traffic (we do see some farm traffic) and not be overly spooky, nappy or sharp. Good in open spaces etc

Ideally to do a bit of riding club and lower level sj/xc, pop a log in the woods or go for an amble along the beach that sort of thing.

Would suit something older or younger as long as has a genuine chilled outlook. We are happy to bring on in other ways. I have a confident capable daughter who is more than happy to hop on if needed and horse wanted to do more exciting things.

We keep our horses at our home in lovely indoor stables with lots of turnout. They want for nothing and are a very much loved part of our family.

We've owned Vegas for 2.5years, my daughter was 7 when we got him and he's now sadly outgrown.
Previous owners owned him for 7 years and they stay in touch.
He's just an amazing pony both under saddle and to have around, we give him a very varied life - SJ, XC, AE, all PC activities, beach rides, loads of hacking and riding in open fields.

He has taken my daughter from jumping 50cm to hedges. They've won winter league SJ 60/70cm, and Kelsall SJ unaffiliated championships 60cm with many other wins and ribbons under their belt!

He is 100% in traffic, loading, shoe, turn out with mares and geldings etc

The best there is to handle on the ground by kids of all ages and loves fuss.

hacks alone and in company although sometimes needs a little help leaving the yard alone but once out is fantastic.

He has done tonnes of shows, PC, camp, SJ, XC lots of dressage and has 3 lovely paces. He is beautiful to look at!

He is happy to jump but he rather that was not his full time job, he will sometimes put in a stop!! He is now looking for a quieter life as he has recently been diagnosed with a grade 2 heart murmur, this hasn’t affected him in anyway, the only reason we knew is because of his annual check up before his booster jab.
He’d suit a lead rein pony, first pony, or a quiet hack, I am sure he’d be fine to still be in the pony club and do low level activities. His price is massively reduced to find him the most loving home that he can still have fun and lots of cuddles

We have owned Alfie since 2019, and this is a wrench for my daughter who is leaving for university in September.

You can see his record on BSJA website he has £340.00 Winnings and 200 Points.

He is laid back but forward going. He hacks out alone or in company, he has shoes, is fully clipped once a year in December, Lives in, but out a lot in summer, great with everyone, never gets in trouble. He has a personality that will make you smile, no vices, but likes to be the last one in from the field.

We have done a little unaffiliated and affiliated SJ, he has won and been placed in many classes down at Felbridge and Pyecombe from 70cm to 90cm, he rarely lets us down and can not be blamed for the riding errors.

Finn truly is an outstanding all-rounder. He's smart, easy to handle and knows his job.

Eventing - Consistently finishes on a mid-20s to low-30s dressage score, always achieving double clear within the optimum time. He isn’t fazed by steps, ditches, or water. Winning PC regional qualifier and grassroots Champs. NSEA arena eventing with style - winning the qualifiers at both the 75 and 85 levels. We were unable to attend the champs. However he has only evented for 3 seasons and therefore is incredibly low millage.

Dressage - Finn is a consistent performer in the ring, scoring high 60s - low 70s. Competing previously at novice level and training up to elementary, reserve for BD Youth England and was a top-10 finalist in the U25 Sheepgate Championship.

Finn made his showing debut in 2023. We had little show experience but again Finn excelled. Numerous wins and Supremes unaffiliated. Winning 3 out of 4 of his show classes Sunshine Tour in 2023. Whilst we have not done much this year, due to my daughters' exams and other riding commitments he was shown at county level and shown great promise in the Performance pony classes and we feel he would excel in veteran classes.

Finn competed in hunt relays this summer, where he behaved exceptionally well, waited his turn, and didn’t blink at the baton exchange. Finn has also participated in hound exercises, where once again, he has been exceptionally well-behaved.

An absolute gentleman on the ground, whilst completely adaptable to more a novice rider; he wouldn’t suit a complete beginner.
Finn thrives on variety. He doesn’t need to be ridden every day but comes into his element when competing; he’ll give you his all, whatever you ask of him. He is calm at competitions, never getting worked up or excited, and will happily stand by the box with a hay net, watching the world go by.

Good for the farrier, vet, and easy to clip, shoe, and catch. He’s happy to be turned out with mares or geldings. Finn has never been sick or sorry.
