Very sad sale of our Bessie who we have owned for nearly 3 years. She was bought for my then 8 year old daughter who has sadly lost interest. Bessie is for sale through no fault of her own and has been ridden by her teenage loaner for the past 18 months. They have taken part in pole clinics, general schooling and hacking over the winter and have enjoyed doing dressage tests together, always coming top 4 in with the adults.

She is a 10 year old 13.3hh exceptionally well marked mare, compact with a leg in each corner. She would make an ideal PC pony, potential show pony or active mother and daughter share. Bessie loves a varied workload and is a super fun girl with a strong personality. She is well schooled with 3 lovely paces and will step up or down a gear.

Bessie is a forward fun hack and loves the farm rides. In her previous home she enjoyed jumping, cross-country and fun rides with a confident child.

Bessie has no vices but can sometimes be bolshy/facey on the ground and slightly nappy with a novice. A more confident rider can push her through as it's nothing dramatic. She doesn't buck, rear or bolt. Bessie is looking for an active home as she will turn her hoof to anything. I think she would do very well in the show ring or equally as a PC pony or a mother/daughter share that just wants to have fun with her.

Our girl is up to date with farrier/teeth/vaccinations/chiropractor and wants for nothing.
She is very easy to catch, stands great for the farrier, loads easily and is good in traffic. She will have the odd look at things but has never been silly.

Sadly due to health reasons his previous owner has had to make the decision to sell him. He was with her since a 4yr old. A very tough decision . He comes with tack and rugs.
He is so straight forward in everything he does.we originally mported him from Ireland.

This chap has loads to offer. He is super to hack on his own and in company. He will pop a log when out and jump a small ditch. He has seen plenty of traffic and farm machinery.

I am not a beginner but I am coming out of a riding school so I need a steady and forgiving horse that doesn’t look to its rider for confidence too much. No bucking, rearing or serious napping.

I do have lots of help and support around me and I know how to look after a horse.

I am mainly looking to do off road hacking alone and in company, but a horse that will also step up and do some schooling, small jumps, dressage, fun rides, beach trips etc will be ideal.

Honestly I adore this little mare. She is so good to do, comes to call in the field, lives in or out incredibly tidy in the stable so a dream to muck out.

Forward uphill paces but not strong. Everyone that rides her falls in love with her. Even my 3yo little girl rides her around on lead rein, grooms her and gets her in from the field. Up to date with vaccinations, worming. Good to clip/shoe.

Lovely little pony on the ground and on the flat, still green over a fence but has plenty of jump.

She has come on leaps and bounds in the last month. If my little girl was older this mare wouldn’t be going anywhere as she’s an absolute cracker and my backside is just a little too big for her, however I have a waiting list for the stable and so she needs to find a new home who will love her.

Would suit a showing home, potentially driving or a knowledgeable home to produce her jumping further.

Not suitable for nervous and really novice riders, this mare really deserves to continue being produced properly and reach her potential. She can occasionally have a cheeky little buck but nothing big or malicious she’s just a happy little soul but the more she learns the less she does it.

Clayhall Teddy is a cracking little cob gelding. We have had him since weaning and are only selling him as he has already grown a lot taller than expected.

His mum was a small Welsh X, sire unknown, must have been a bigger chunkier type.

He’s currently 12:3 so likely to make around 13:2 I would guess.

He has a CHAPS passport is fully vaccinated, regular feet trims and worm control. Loves being groomed and handled and enjoys company of other horses.

Teddy has very smart paces and is well balanced in walk, trot, canter.

Lily has been in light work for the past two years enjoying on and off hacking due to business commitments, and has now been brought back into full work and is doing fantastically.

Sally is a 4yr old 13.2 blagdon cob mare, she is a real sweet girl. Although recently broken she’s proving to be a real old head on young shoulders type. Very willing attitude to her work and tries her heart out to please you.

She’s super easy to do in all ways, one in a million temperament, will stand there all day to be brushed.Ridden by children both on and off the lead rein and really looked after them. Has hacked out down our quiet lane and was super. She sees heavy farm machinery daily and doesn’t bother. She’s a really lovely pony who deserves a 10* home.

Although she’s proving to be a star, she’s still very much a baby in the early stages of her education so therefore greenness is still expected and normal.

Belle has been with me 4 years, being a riding school favourite. She will wait patiently for the rider to mount, never strong or silly and snaffle mouthed at all times.

She participates in local shows and hacks out through woods, busy roads and in open spaces. Belle will easily pop round a course of 60-90cm courses with fillers and had been placed at local shows.

Belle is up to date with her vaccinations, worming, chiropractor, dentist, saddle fitting and farrier (barefoot). Belle absolutely loves attention, the sought that follows you in the field for a fuss or a bum scratch! She prefers the human company over anything else.

When I had Belle, we didn't realise she was in foal which came at a big shock! Belle produced a beautiful filly back in April 2022 and recovered really well. Since having a foal she has been an asset to the riding school and all the children love her!

Cara is a super cute, super sweet 4yo 14’2hh Buckskin cob mare. She has had the same home since she was 9 months old and has been backed professionally and correctly, given a break over winter and has recently come back into work.

Before her break Cara did loads and loads of hacking, alone and in company, canters through fields and finding her feet across different terrain. She has never had a bad experience and doesn’t know what the word napping means. Cara has fabulous conformation, she has a wonderful workman-like attitude and would make a smashing allrounder, family horse, riding club, happy hacker and would do very well in the show ring. She is good to deal with in and out the stable.

She has just been introduced to arena work, she has loose jumped and jumped under saddle one time proving genuine honest and willing. This will continue and she will learn more jumping under saddle while she is here with us. Cara is on sales livery, this is a super sad sale as she just simply hasn’t grown big enough for her tall owners. So a top experienced home is a must! Absolutely no novice or nervous owners/riders!

She is 4 years old and is obviously green.. so needs to be continued to be carefully produced.

Please note that viewings are welcome, you can see her be ridden in the arena and then try her yourselves out on a hack/field but I will not allow people to use different aids in the arena were she hasn’t done much of it and confuse this lovely lovely pony. Open to vettings.

Pretty 14.3 15yo cob x mare . Ideal hunter/all rounder. Would suit best a small adult or competent teenager as she can be strong.

Bella has been with us for the last 2.5 years and in that time has taken me from having limited confidence to jumping anything out hunting. Forward but safe, she is brilliant to hack alone and in company and could go from hunting one day to do plodding out with a beginner the next, you never have to worry. She knows who is riding her and will adjust. She is mega to jump, will jump anything out hunting, rails, hedges, ditches, water etc. Brilliant to showjump, comfortably jumping 90, can be a bit spookier xc but will still jump anything you ask her to. With me she has hunted, done fun rides, show jumped, xc, beach rides and never put a foot wrong.

An extremely sad sale of a loved pony but I want to progress more into eventing and dressage isn't her favourite. She has improved in the time I've had her but she would much rather be doing something more exciting. Never bucked, reared, bronked, she can be strong but never unmanageable. She is good to load, shoe, dentist and clip (not a huge fan of legs or face so I just use a little sedation).

Does require a bit of veterinary maintenance annually which I am happy to discuss. If you are looking for a fun, safe hunting/fun ride pony, Bella is the pony for you. Homes will be vetted.
