CASCOB TERWYN - 7 YEAR OLD GELDING

Ref #: 373579

  • A big boy with a big heart!
  • Sure to excel in any sphere
  • Great prospect for the future
We bought Freddie as a foal, left to mature at his own pace, he was broken in the spring of 2024 then turned away for the summer as I got married in September.
Brought back to work over the winter, he has proved to have a good attitude to work. He has a sensible head on his shoulders but he is still essentially a baby, so needs a rider who he will gain confidence from.
I never have to lunge before getting on, and has never had to have calmers or earplugs.

Freddie is a big boy, standing at approximately 15.2hh, with lovely Welsh limb and feather. He has a lovely temperament- good to clip, shoe and catch. He goes out with mares and geldings with no trouble at all.

Freddie has been to a couple of shows, both indoors and outdoors, with good success. Has seen traffic (on quiet country lanes), is used to farm machinery, been to the beach and is regularly ridden in open fields. We feel Freddie will excel in any sphere with a competent rider, he needs to see the world to unlock his full potential!

Fully vaccinated. Currently has a full set of shoes on, and is up to date with teeth and worming.

A genuine sale of a much-loved horse. I just have to be realistic that I cannot keep them all and we have young home-breds coming through.

Open to vetting.

Price just lowered to get a quick sale!

Same home since a 2 year old colt and produced extremely carefully and slowly.
Bruce is a complete gentleman who has been so easy to do in every way.

He has been purchased with the potential to become a dressage / riding club allrounder , he is only 4 years of age and still has lots of growing to do.
We have produced him very slowly and not over done any ridden work or road work he gets hacked mostly and just once a week in the arena
From a very young age he has been kind and gentle and accepting of everything you ask of him.
He lives on a busy farm and is great in the heaviest of farm traffic, cars, wagons, bikes etc, young children and various other animals.
He has been regularly foot trimmed since a 2 year old.
Bruce is good to bath/shower loves attention and being pampered as we have a solarium and done on a weekly basis ! He is also good to clip having been fully clipped out at 4 years.

Bruce is currently schooling nicely in the arena, proving to have a lovely soft mouth and responsive to the leg.
He has been to some riding club rallies and pony club rallies with my daughter who is an 8 year old novice !
Bruce does not look or spook his attitude towards life is quite remarkable for his young age he definitely has a young head on old shoulders .
He has hacks out alone in heavy traffic and in company.
And used to riding in huge arable open fields.
He has been in the trailer most weeks for hacks and to the beach and to riding club / pony club rallies he behaves impeccably.

He would suit someone looking for their forever horse who wants to nurture this future superstar. Due to his age he would suit a more competent rider but no reason why a novice could not ride.

He is a complete pleasure to own
5 star homes need only apply.

Please note that Bruce does have a scar on his chest and he also sucks his tongue these do not affect his performance in anyway.

He stands at 14.2hh on the wither and 15hh bum high so will end up 15hh
Open to any vetting.
Please get in touch anytime for a chat or more videos thanks for reading.

FIZZ - 14hh 5yo cob. Beautiful equally marked cob mare who takes everything in her stride.

Fizz would make a perfect all round pony for a child, young teen or small adult as she is willing to do a bit of everything. Walks, trots and canters round the school in a steady rhythm and will pop a jump, hacks for days alone and in company and has been on fun rides and swimming through the river.

She’s also flashy enough to do a bit of showing so will go far in any aspect. She is currently working in our riding school for the competent novice children who want a more responsive ride, yet she also steps down to take complete novice children out on hacks as she is very safe.

No vices or health issues, very kind and easy to deal with on the ground as regularly brought in, tacked up, bathed etc. by children. Currently living out in a mixed herd.

Liberty is a quality, sweet-natured pony who has the potential to become a great all-around family / competitive pony.

Liberty's size and build make her equally suited for children or lightweight adults, making her an excellent mother/daughter (son!) combination.

She is now looking for her next home where she can continue to excel and be someone's best friend.

Liberty has been in the same home since a foal and has been brought on slowly and correctly to ensure she is a safe, happy pony with a willingness to please. She has been turned away for the winter and is now back at work in the school and also hacking very well in traffic.

She is a very pretty pony who is easy to shoe, travel, and handle. She is happy to be stabled or living outdoors. No health conditions whatsoever.

She is fantastic to do in all ways.

A very difficult sale, looking for new hme. Steady 14”2 17 yr Welsh D mare.

Same home for 4 years and I knew the previous owner well. Great for farrier/dentist/vet, travels in trailers and lorries.

Done lots of hacking, trips to the beach, jumping, schooling, pole work.

She needs a quiet life where she can enjoy all these things but at a low level due to her age. She’s an absolute pleasure to handle and be around.

She can be a bit ‘mareish’ when in the field with others or having her girth done up however her attitude doesn’t change when she’s in season.

Her home is very important to us.

A knowledgable 5* home required due to small previous veterinary issues.

A real cheeky, loveable character and safe to be around.

Rising 6 traditional cob for sale, tgca passport

Elvis is 13hh and is a cracking fun pony. He is a forward going cob but is still green and very much still learning so would suit a confident rider to bring him on.

Elvis loves hacking and will go in front or behind, and will hack on his own. He has seen all sorts and never worried.

Schooling wise Elvis has three lovely paces but he is still green in the school however he shows real promise with a bit more education.

Elvis loves pole work and has been over a few small jumps with scope.

Elvis loves to be groomed, travels well and is good to be clipped. He is barefoot and up to date with jabs back and teeth.

Elvis does’nt like being on his own so would need to be with others.

Elvis is for sale as my girls are just too big for him and he would be wasted standing in a field. We would like to stay in contact with new owner as we have had Elvis since a foal and will miss him very much.

Paddy - pony club/ hunting superstar in the making! The definition of ‘old head on young shoulders’.
13.1/2, 2021, Chocolate dun gelding.

Hacks alone and in company, fine with all traffic including big tractors and does not get fizzy in open spaces.

Walk, trots, canters in school and is balanced considering his age, a real leg in each corner stamp.

Has popped coloured poles and seen fillers/planks/water trays. Has been XC schooling and was not phased by steps, ditches or water. Is straightforward to a fence and really enjoys the jumping.

Has been shown in hand at a busy agricultural/county show and was unfazed by the busy atmosphere.

Has been on hunt rides/hound exercise with the Grafton and was impeccable in a large group and with hounds.

Brilliantly behaved in every way, considering his age. Can vault on him, ride bareback, do around the world and just generally have fun around him and he takes it all in his stride. He is totally safe, kind and fun and has been ridden by children (6, 10 and 12).

Can give him weeks off here and there, and is completely sane when you get back on.

Good to catch/groom/bath/clip/trim feet and is up to date with vaccinations and worming.

Has travelled on our trailer and loads and travels brilliantly.

Only hogged/clipped as it is my personal preference and we think he looks so smart!

I can’t say he doesn’t spook but given his age he’s not dramatic or malicious, just green.

Endless photos and videos available. Can provide references as to his fabulous behaviour out and about.

He was bought as a project but we would 10000% be keeping him if he was 15hh as he puts a smile on everyone’s face!

Price will increase as he continues being educated!

Brodie is a 4yo 11.2hh coblet who i bought last year to produce and he’s now looking for his person!

Brodie would be the perfect lead rein pony equally will go off the lead for more experienced jockey. He is as safe as they come and is so willing to learn.

Brodie is loving his ridden life and he isn’t fazed by anything. He’s just started his jumping career and whilst he may not be a show jumper, he tries his hardest at whatever he’s asked of and never looks at the poles. He is brilliant in the school and has 3 lovely paces and he will hack both alone and in company.

On the ground, he’s an angel - he’s quiet, gentle, whilst also having the biggest personality ?? he’s good to load, shoe, bath etc. However brodie is still green due to age and so for this reason no novices pls

Has lived around other animals such as dogs, chickens, goats and pigs with no problem. Happy to live alone or in company in or out, good as gold around children loud noises and busy roads.

TWEEDFELL THE DUCHESS - By Asby Mills Warrior

Dolly is a stunning, minimally marked contender for the ridden HOYS open / junior classes. She has lots of presence, is light on her feet and has a lovely, kind temperament

She is 2yo (3 at the beginning of Feb 2026) and currently stands 13.1-13.2hh

I have given Dolly an excellent start to her education and she is good to trim, bath, oil, tie up, and she leads in and out of the field quietly either by herself or as a pair with another youngster

She has lived out all year with a shelter, but is equally happy to come into a stable

She has been brilliantly behaved at shows (been to 2), trotting out beautifully and is easy to hold in a halter. She didn’t bat an eyelid today being stood whilst big lorries and other ponies went by ??

She has qualified for the youngstock final at CHAPS Championships and is also available with the entry to Lincolnshire Show & the Great Yorkshire Show

Can be viewed 30 mins ish from Arena UK (Near Retford, just off the A1)

Dudley Doodle - 130cm (potentially could measure in as a 128cm), 9 years old

Great to hack, shoe, bath & clip (needs sedating for legs)

We’ve had Rocco for nearly a year but unfortunately our daughter has grown quicker than expected and now needs the next step up.

Rocco before coming to us he was based at a show centre so is used to a busy environment, he has seen fillers and coloured poles and these are never a problem to him.

Rocco is more of a second pony as he is forward going, he wouldn’t be suitable for a complete novice. Although our other daughter rides him who isn’t really into riding and he always behaves impeccably and looks after her and really steps down a gear.

He is never nasty, but is a forward going ride and likes to get on with the job, he enjoys his work and is always up for a challenge.

He has competed in the in-house competitions based at the Livery Yard where we keep him, he’s competed up to 75cm with ease, and has gas in the tank for more. He’s popped over 1m+ so definitely untapped potential for the right rider.

He has also done a few dressage competitions and does a lovely test, but just not my daughter’s thing! Rocco is brilliant to hack alone or in company, also great in open spaces.

On the ground he prefers to be handled by children, he can pull a face at adults but seems to be more settled around kids. My girls do everything with him and never really have help from adults, he is fine to bath, he’s fine to clip but will need sedating for his legs.

Rocco is up to date with jabs, teeth and we’ve had him looked over last week and he’s all good to go but still open to vetting. Comes with tack.

We want a 5* for Rocco and would like to stay in touch.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

  • A very sad sale of a very special pony with the biggest lovable character.

11 yrs 13.3hh that takes up the leg well.

Oreo has done all pony club activities including camps and varying rallies. Although a pony club home, we've been more focused on fun rather than competing every weekend. He has done a few competitions as well as hunter trials which he loved. Loves going out and about and well mannered both out and at home.

Oreo is good with other horses and will happily live in a herd of geldings or mares.  Good with dogs. Happy to live in at night in winter and out in summer. Loves his creature comforts.

He loves his hacking, alone or in company and will ride and lead. Good on roads and with traffic, just can be a little nervous of big lorries and noisy motorbikes but not silly. Good in open spaces and Hacks beautifully.

He is good to catch, bath, load, clip and with dentist and farrier.  Excellent manners in his stable. Up to date with teeth & vaccinations.

He had a few sarcoids removed from the side of his sheath a year ago which have been successfully treated & all healed. This has been reflected in his price and never affected him.

He is fantastic second pony, suiting confident child or small lightweight adult as when bringing him on he has been known to do an excitable bunny hop but seems to of outgrown this and nothing that fazed my son.

My son has brought him a long way since we’ve had him and we're really sad to have to sell him as he's a super special boy and a real part of the family. Genuine reason forces sale as my son has sadly outgrown him.

He is loved very much and we would love to find him his forever home and we would love to keep in touch.

5* knowledgeable home only for our much loved pony who means the world to us. Homes will be vetted.

Lots of photos & videos available via what’s app. thanks for reading. No novices and serious enquiries only please.

£7,000 to including tack

HUNTING/FUN RIDES/HACKING PONY FOR LOAN WVTB

Fantastic hunting/hacking/showing 13.1 pony. My little Rolo is a black roan cob (sporty build) 9 years,

My daughter has gone on to a new pony so he really needs a new person to love him. He will be lead off another horse, will go on the lead rein but likes to do more. Ideally a hunting home.

He was a successful show pony in his previous home. I’ve tried to keep him as he has the biggest character and we all adore him.

Rolo lives out but would happily come in, is barefoot, up to date with vaccinations, teeth, physio etc. we are based in Warwickshire and would love him to be local. He is full of character, the yard favourite!

Rolo isn’t keen on going in an arena hence seeking a hunting or hacking home only. He prefers to hack in company. He has done PC but it’s not his favourite thing to do so not an alround pony.

Please message me for more details.
