Indie - 13.2hh best friend

Indie - 13.2hh best friend

Ref #: 377176

  • Super safe hacker
  • Well mannered

Indie has been a brilliant pony for her little jockey but has sadly become outgrown in ability and since the new pony has arrived she is being wasted.

She is easy to handle at all times. She has done some local showing in hand (1st place winner) and has recently been to a showjumping training show where she jumped a lovely clear in the 70cm, and a competition the following week where she won rosettes with her young rider.

Indie is a dream to hack out, doesn’t get strong or silly and seen all types of traffic on the roads.

Indie would suit a home with varied activities, not schooling endlessly - but can explain this in more detail. Indie would suit a family home to be used for general riding activities, lots of hacking, sponsored rides and in all just a fun varied lifestyle.

Indie can live in or out and able to be in a mixed herd. She is a good girl to clip, farrier, vet and be fussed over but occasionally might need a sneaky treat to be caught in summer.

As you can imagine this is a heartbreaking sale of a very much loved pony.

Priced very reasonable to see her find her new best friend.

Lots of videos/photos on request.

Loves the cross country field proving safe and steady. Hacks out on a regular basis, absolutely sound in traffic.

Lovely Bright bay gelding with prospect (said my professional trainer) - has walked and trotted over poles in school.

Boxes when he is familiar with trailer/lorry (happy to get in our rattly cattle trailer, finds the new horse trailer a bit posh for his liking, but does load with encouragement - getting there! Lovely to groom, clip, shoe, in stable and out, catches himself, snaffle mouth.

I am too old to get him over his recently started napping when ridden alone - in company he rides out well - I do not have regular company and do not wish to spoil this lovely pony - he has ridden alone on moorland and lanes, just being opinionated and needs more going on. He will go far with competent light rider.
Up to date with vaccinations and teeth.

Liberty is a quality, sweet-natured pony who has the potential to become a great all-around family / competitive pony.

Liberty's size and build make her equally suited for children or lightweight adults, making her an excellent mother/daughter (son!) combination.

She is now looking for her next home where she can continue to excel and be someone's best friend.

Liberty has been in the same home since a foal and has been brought on slowly and correctly to ensure she is a safe, happy pony with a willingness to please. She has been turned away for the winter and is now back at work in the school and also hacking very well in traffic.

She is a very pretty pony who is easy to shoe, travel, and handle. She is happy to be stabled or living outdoors. No health conditions whatsoever.

She is fantastic to do in all ways.

The most fun, talented little pony standing at 13.2h

We have owned Trin , Trinity (Churchwood Tempest) since summer 2021 taking my then 8 year old daughter off her 12h pony and straight into a world of competitive fun, teaching my then very novice daughter the ropes along the way.

Trin came from an mainly SJ and PC home prior to us but we loved her flashy movement and have done a lot of Dressage with her working up to novice at home with us (competed to prelim) she has been beautifully schooled by my daughter.

She has been to every stay away show and championship imaginable and loves the experience with fantastic placings.

Kington Show Best Riding Club Horse Champion 2023- Participated in champion of champions parade

Hunted occasionally with Radnor and west/ Ludlows- likes to be up front but equally happy to be led for a novice rider.

Has done lots of XC for fun and for competition , Lots of fun rides, hacks out easily alone or with company.

Attended adult residential camp at lincomb EC and Pony club camp Ludlows and radnor and west PC

Can be led or lead off her, steps down if needed for rider.

Easy to keep, kind mare who is just lovely to have around, easily would make a mum and daughter share for a petite mum (I stole her when my horse was out of action and had an awful lot of fun with her if she was a tad bigger we wouldn't part with this special pony.

We live on a farm, so Trin has seen all machinery, wide open spaces to gallop and hack, rivers and fords to hack through, nothing phases this super little mare.

Good for farrier, dentist, vet and physio- all up to date and regularly attended to. No sweet itch, lami, no health problems, happy to be groomed and fussed, easy to clip. Happy to live in or out. Loads with ease in trailer or 3.5/7.5t lorry and travels well.

For the Past 12 months Trin has been with a lovely loan home as my daughter has grown hopelessly too big for her and we couldn’t bear to part with her. They have had a wonderful year doing more show jumping enjoying Trins whizzy, winning competitive nature including all PC regionals/NSEA and various competitons.

We have endless film and photos of Trinny with Lucy my daughter and with her loaner.

The most wonderful home wanted for this lovely girl- she deserves to be loved as much as we love her- price negotiable if home is perfect.

Will come with full wardrobe of endless rugs beautiful jump saddle and bridle.

  • Hunting Pony is what she really is

Magic is 19 this year. She is a super little 11.2 lead rein pony and will take little ones hacking off the lead rein.

Loves fun rides and will take tinies on fun rides off the lead. Has done mini pony club camps with us. I have 3 boys who all started on her.

Magic loves best a hunting, hacking fun ride home. She doesn't want to spend hours in the school going round in circles. She is super to hack leads off another horse or will be loose with a tiny on top. She isn't a showjumper she will do tiny cross poles but it's not her scene she prefers hacking. She isn't going to qualify a child for mini champs on or off the lead rein but she will canter along the beach off the lead rein with a tiny child on top.

She is a super hunting pony doesn't get hot or silly. She is up together fit and ready to make a family very happy. Magic is best shod all round to be kept in work to keep up her fitness due to her age. She would prefer a active home that wants to have fun with her.

Lots of videos and photos available from 4 years with us. Please what's app me 07549 314266. Viewings Ba229qy.

Great to shoe, load, travel, traffic, good with other ponies to turn out. Easy to catch. She loves my children and has looked after them well and would love to find another family where she will fit in and enjoy her.

Private sale from a family home. Won't be sold unseen she would love to meet you all first to make sure it's right for her

Full up 128 registered section B 6yr old, bay gelding with 4 white socks.

Very smart & flashy competition pony who stands out in the crowd. And he is ready to step up to BS. He would make the perfect BS starter pony, he's been to numerous unaffiliated showjumping competitions and always in the top 3 placings.

We have owned King since he was 2 yrs old, where he was purchased from the breeder, he has the best of bloodlines and a fantastic friendly temperament to go with it.
He was backed with us as 3 1/2 yr old and has been given time to mature and learn. He's hasn't been rushed or over fazed. He's handled daily by the children. Good to catch, box, clip, teeth, farrier. He's safe and a pleasure to handle.

He lives in or out and is currently turned out with geldings.

He's been ridden mainly by our older daughter, but our younger daughter, who is a novice, has also ridden him and took him to a few outings where he looked after her. He's is ridden by our older daughter in more competive classes, but will then step down when needed.

He's been produced for showjumping, but believe with his looks, he would also make a fantastic working hunter pony. Hes jumped rustic fences, logs, ditches, he is also good with water. He is smart enough to be shown under saddle and in hand.

He's brave and bold and has jumped around some arena eventing fences, including rolltops and bullfinch.

He has won lots of ribbons with my daughter since she was 9yrs, with placings up to 70cm with the scope to go higher. Last year, he got placed in almost every class at the Champs of GB at the David Broome Event Centre. This was his 1st stay away show where he behaved impeccably.

King is now ready to step up with his next jockey or would happily jump around cross poles with a novice rider. He is responsive off the leg and is ridden in a hanging snaffle. He's safe with a lovely, soft mouth. King is brilliant in large open spaces and is regularly ridden out on the open common where he has been used to gather cattle & sheep.

Amazing to hack alone or in company.

King is such a lovely pony in the saddle and on the ground, we are looking for the best home possible where he can continue to grow as a competition pony.

Open to any vetting and viewings.

Only for sale as we have younger ponies we need to concentrate on.

Tali has been my daughter’s best friend for 3 years but sadly the inevitable has happened and she has outgrown him.

He is a lovely all rounder and will have a go at anything with enthusiasm. He was originally bred to be a race pony and his speed shows it. He would make a fantastic games pony turning on a sixpence (games is not my daughters forte). But the thing he loves the most is jumping. Jumping up to a meter and tackling every course he comes across with ease and excitement and quick against the clock.

Tali is a typical Welsh pony. Fun, forward and quirky with a mischievous streak. He’s not a novice ride. He needs a home with some experience and knowledge to keep bringing out the best in him.

He is good to load, shoe and catch. Although like any pony he can have his moments. Hacks out alone or in company although he does prefer company. He is a sweet boy who will look after his rider whilst being a very fun ride.

Tali has done an excellent job of teaching my daughter and his previous rider how to ride. As much as we will miss him it’s time for him to do his job with another young rider.

Have many more photos and videos.

Tack included.

Casper is a lovely little pony that I bought for my 4 year old Grandson nearly two years ago, not 6. Sadly my Grandson is not showing the interest this lovely pony deserves despite our best efforts. Casper is therefore seeking a new family to do fun things with and be appreciated.

He has shown he is willing to do whatever is asked of him on or off the lead rein. Would suit a family with children with a range of ages and abilities. He would make a great PC pony/games pony as good with flappy stuff.

We are ideally looking for an experienced home so he can reach his full potential. Have posted some vids with 10 year old rider who has had a few professional riding lessons and would love to have her own pony and has recently very kindly come to ride Casper once a week for us and she gets more confident each time she comes. I think you can see he is more whoa than go at the moment and is only doing as much as asked by the rider which is exactly what you want for children to build confidence.

Happy to chat and provide more info, pics and vids.

Priced to sell, no time wasters please. Call 07815 301504 for more information if interested

A very difficult sale, looking for new hme. Steady 14”2 17 yr Welsh D mare.

Same home for 4 years and I knew the previous owner well. Great for farrier/dentist/vet, travels in trailers and lorries.

Done lots of hacking, trips to the beach, jumping, schooling, pole work.

She needs a quiet life where she can enjoy all these things but at a low level due to her age. She’s an absolute pleasure to handle and be around.

She can be a bit ‘mareish’ when in the field with others or having her girth done up however her attitude doesn’t change when she’s in season.

Her home is very important to us.

A knowledgable 5* home required due to small previous veterinary issues.

A real cheeky, loveable character and safe to be around.

Roly is a 14-year-old, 13.2hh Bay roan Dartmoor Cross gelding, looking for a loving new home as a companion or for light duties. He is a stunning pony with 3 lovely paces and an adorable character.
We’ve owned Roly for nearly three years. He has been our daughter’s much-loved pony, taking her to the beach, Craven country ride, many Pony Club rallies, arena hires, and British Dressage Team Quest competitions. Sadly, she has now outgrown him.
Recently, Roly had an issue with an old injury and is currently only doing light hacking, which we are doing gently and without any hard work. It’s possible he may return to full work in time, but for now, we are looking for a quieter home where he can enjoy life at a slower pace.
Roly would make an excellent field companion/pet as he loves people and any attention. He could potentially be suitable for light hacking or lead rein classes with a small, light rider, but not fast work on hard ground. He takes his confidence from his rider or handler in new situations but is he is very relaxed and happy at home. He is not a novice ride off lead rein but he is excellent on the lead rein and takes care of his little riders.
He is:
• Fully vaccinated and up to date with teeth and farrier
• Passported and chipped
• Healthy and happy
• Currently fully shod, though he has previously done well barefoot
• Safe and sensible in traffic, including tractors, trailers, and lorries
• Perfect hacking alone or in company
• Good to load
• Brave and bold through water, at the beach, over bridges etc
He’s always been perfect for the farrier, vet, and dentist, and my daughter has clipped him herself ever since we bought him. While he can be a little inquisitive and mouthy in new situations, and may occasionally need an adult to handle him as he can be strong, he is a kind and safe pony who loves attention and keeping his stable tidy. Snaffle mouthed and responsive to the aids.
Roly is a good doer and would suit poorer / restricted grazing, and soaked hay.
It saddens us deeply to be rehoming Roly, especially as we aren’t advertising him for the full potential he has previously shown. But we want only the best for him, and believe he deserves a forever home where he can enjoy a gentler lifestyle.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss Roly’s full history and for videos. We are committed to full transparency and finding the right match for this much-loved pony who will be sorely missed. 5* homes only, we will only let him go to the perfect home.
No dealers or short term owners/producers thank you.

Pumpkin is a proper cheeky chappie! Adored by everyone. He has done pony club games and really knows his job. He has started to drive so is excellent in trafic and not at all worried about things around his legs or noises behind him. He loves hacking. I say lead rein second pony because he knows he doesn't have to work in the school he won't so needs a lead or a confident rider. He is lovely in the field and happy to be groomed and bathed by children.

He has a full wardrobe including an extra western saddle which is fab for little ones!

He has had ulcers he would prefer to live out, this is where he is happiest, I don't want him to go to a home with restricted grazing.

Eddie 12.2 11 years old first or second pony - absolute sweetheart of a pony. Amazing confidence giving superstar. Has done pony club camp and rallies with us. Beautiful movements and great little jump. Honestly this little boy is amazing it's a tough decision but my children are not commited to riding so he is waisted with us.

Eddie has not got a bad bone in his body. He has proven able to gear down for nervous children and has never put a foot wrong. He can also gear up for confident children. He will happily stand tied to a trailer.

He has his vaccinations and wormer up to date and has just seen the farrier. Full wardrobe. CHESHIRE

Paddy - pony club/ hunting superstar in the making! The definition of ‘old head on young shoulders’.
13.1/2, 2021, Chocolate dun gelding.

Hacks alone and in company, fine with all traffic including big tractors and does not get fizzy in open spaces.

Walk, trots, canters in school and is balanced considering his age, a real leg in each corner stamp.

Has popped coloured poles and seen fillers/planks/water trays. Has been XC schooling and was not phased by steps, ditches or water. Is straightforward to a fence and really enjoys the jumping.

Has been shown in hand at a busy agricultural/county show and was unfazed by the busy atmosphere.

Has been on hunt rides/hound exercise with the Grafton and was impeccable in a large group and with hounds.

Brilliantly behaved in every way, considering his age. Can vault on him, ride bareback, do around the world and just generally have fun around him and he takes it all in his stride. He is totally safe, kind and fun and has been ridden by children (6, 10 and 12).

Can give him weeks off here and there, and is completely sane when you get back on.

Good to catch/groom/bath/clip/trim feet and is up to date with vaccinations and worming.

Has travelled on our trailer and loads and travels brilliantly.

Only hogged/clipped as it is my personal preference and we think he looks so smart!

I can’t say he doesn’t spook but given his age he’s not dramatic or malicious, just green.

Endless photos and videos available. Can provide references as to his fabulous behaviour out and about.

He was bought as a project but we would 10000% be keeping him if he was 15hh as he puts a smile on everyone’s face!

Price will increase as he continues being educated!

Flic is very sadly for sale through no fault of her own. I bought her in November 2023 from a wonderful home and she has been a lovely pony to own. Our one and only time out she won her class and stood Reserve Champion overall.

Sadly a significant ankle injury for me has put me out of this years contention for further progression. With her previous owner she achieved third placing in the Fell Pony Performance Awards as a two and three year old. She is obviously continuing this success as she goes.

Flic has not started her ridden journey as yet so she is a blank canvas, ready for her progression into the showing world.

She has shown a relaxed attitude to most things from cows to sheep, farm traffic, a crazy mini dachshund, collies and spaniels and more recently my mobility scooter.

I’m looking for a real go getting person for her to win those rosettes she is used to receiving so please no time wasters as she’s far from a field ornament.

Standing 13.1 approx.

Apologies for the lack of photos and due to my injury I’m unable to video - homes will be vetted and keeping in touch is very important me:

Mo is that hard to find, versatile & proven Pony Club pony who has mastered every PC discipline but is now hopelessly outgrown. He has taken his jockey from a nervous 6yr old to a confident and capable 11yr old on so many adventures & taught her so much.

Mo has many strings to his bow including selections for numerous teams including - NI schools jumping teams, PC area eventing team, PC area SJ team, PC games team, NI Polocrosse team and selection for Team Ireland participating in the Four Nations Championships 2023 in England. He was again selected for the 2024 team.

He was on the winning Area 17 PC eventing team qualifying for Auchlishie, Scotland where they picked up a top 10 finish in UK PC eventing.
He finished individual 5th in the Area 17 home Championships and qualified & finished top 5 in the Northern Ireland rising stars SJ finals.

He has attended PC camps, both junior and senior, stay away shows, Balmoral show, PC Spring Barrier Festival in all 3 disciplines and has already qualified for this year’s Festival on their 1st attempt.

Mo is super smart with a quick brain who adores jumping, he will happily pop around x poles but over larger fences is when Mo really comes into his own. He has masses of scope and is amazing against the clock. He has many wins and placings never coming home without a ribbon.

Mo will produce a lovely pleasing dressage test and is mannerly & responsive to aids. He is forward yet safe and will step it up or down according to his riders ability. He rides in a snaffle for dressage and SJ and a Wilkie for XC.

Mo adores the beach and forest rides, he hacks out alone and in company unfazed by traffic or farm machinery.

He will take a child safely over any hunting country & is mannerly with hounds. His love of XC is evident as he never says no to a fence including ditches, banks and water. He is super clever and light on his feet keeping him out of trouble. He has hunted with Route Hunt in Northern Ireland with pictures and videos available.

Mo has no vices and is lovely to do in all ways, he’s excellent to shoe (hot or cold) bath and clip. He travels in a trailer, 3.5 or 7.5 lorry and is handled and loaded by the children. He loves a cuddle and fuss from his people. He is tidy in his stable when in and always comes cantering in from the field when called. He can live in or out with mares or geldings, he’s everybody’s friend.

He is simply an awesome little dude who deserves the very best of homes where he can continue teaching kids how to ride correctly and have the best fun doing so.

Finding the right home is of the utmost importance for us as he is one very special pony. Based in Co. Down, N.I, transport can be arranged.
He is up to date with vaccinations & dentist and will come with a full wardrobe of rugs as well as his tack.
Open to any vetting & PC references can be made available if requested.
