Maddie is an absolutely top class Welsh Section B double line bred to the prolific stallion Carwed Charmer. He is the epitome of his type. Gelded at 6.

He only for sale as I literally have no time for him due to my work commitments.

He has won pretty much everything inhand, (winning a bronze medal) and ridden and we have only done about 3 open HOYS qualifiers where he was consistently in the top 5 in very good company. He has contested one junior HOYs class and was pulled in 4th in good company. He has been happily and mannerly ridden by children winning a large class of 18 FR ponies at the Heritage Champs.

He has recently been introduced to jumping and is showing great potential

A truly versatile pony, he will turn his hoof to anything. He hacks alone or in company and would be a great 2nd pony for a child and/or a small adult.

Special home required for a much loved Pony!

Fantastic breeding lines. Would suit a competent teenager or adult looking for a 1.5/2nd pony to bring along and bring out his full potential. Sale due to other pony taking priority for child. Other children too green for him.

Could be Perfect for mother daughter share.

Hacks out alone & in company, takes confidence from others in new places.

Has seen busy villages and quite back roads. Can be nervous of tractors but more so when on own.

Loves his stable at night and his little routine. But very easygoing!

Has done Pony club events and been to Arena hires, alone annd in company. stands well in the trailer and is patient.

He has an Excellent jump! we have not jumped him over large courses due to age of rider but he has the potential. Loves his flat work and poles. Carries himself beautifully.

We believe would excel in hunting, show jumping and dressage with the right rider.

Cuddliest pony in the world who loves to snuggle and is brilliant around younger children. He is more like a big dog!

Easy to catch, no treats needed! Runs to you at the gate.

loves company but equally happy by himself with human company.

He only wants to please so Needs a confident rider to take him to the next level. He needs shown the ropes still but is willing.

Experienced home wanted. He is still young so we want him to be with a family / person that will get the most out of his potential.

Would prefer home with year round turnout as he is sensitive to dust if inside too much.

Never bucked/kicked/bitten. Barefoot with great feet. Can be stubborn to lift them. Loads onto trailer and will stand happily.

Gets seen by physio and enjoys these sessions. Up to date with vaccs/worming/feet

Please call or message for more details.

Serious enquires only. Open to offers for the right home. Would like to stay in touch.

For Sale – Reuben (2009), 12.2hh Liver Chestnut Gelding

It is with great sadness that we offer our beloved family pony, Reuben, for sale.

Reuben is a striking 12.2hh liver chestnut gelding with correct conformation, naturally uphill paces, and a wonderful temperament. He is a genuine all-rounder who has given both our children endless fun, education, and confidence. Sadly, our youngest is now rapidly outgrowing him and moving onto a 14hh, so it is time for Reuben to give the same joy and experience to his next little jockey.

We have owned Reuben for 6 years, during which he has taken our 2 children from gently stepping over cross poles to confidently jumping 80cm courses and training over bigger fences at home. He has successfully competed in a wide variety of Pony Club disciplines including showing, dressage, arena eventing, show jumping, mini one-day events, and tetrathlon.

Highlights:

- Represented Pony Club at Regional Championships and Area Spring Festival and spring festival championships (dressage)

- Competed in tetrathlon with multiple 1400 rides - good with gates and slip rails

- Produced 70%+ dressage scores, qualifying for Pony Club Championships

- Represented Pony Club at Rockingham Horse Trials (team show jumping) - a reliable clear round

- Enjoys arena eventing - holds a lovely rhythm

- Hunting experience, showing he was mannerly, safe, and loved every minute

Reuben has naturally correct paces, a very comfortable canter, and a lovely bascule over a fence. He is bold and careful. He has the ability to look after a less confident rider and will gently step over a fence for them, but with a rider that is happy to put their leg on and ride for fence he will step up and show a turn of speed with good turns for a competitive jockey.

On the yard, Reuben is a delight, he is neat in his stable, has been fit and well throughout our ownership, and a pony who adores fuss, attention, and food. He is excellent to catch, shoe, load, clip, hack, and handle in all respects.

Reuben would ideally suit a child growing in confidence who is moving on from their first pony and looking for the next step up. I would love a child who enjoys dressage as he has so much to offer in this area that we haven't fully tapped into, but equally an all round jumping home would be perfect too.

The videos are a broad selection of the things he has done with both of our children. They both moved onto him age 6, started off trotting over fences and building confidence.

We are based near Stratford Upon Avon.

A selection of rugs available, tack under separate negotiation.

  • If you’re after a beautiful little pony to brush and fuss for hours she’s your one

Tentatively for sale our beautiful Miniature Spotted Pony ‘Whoops-a-Daisy’.

Registered with the Spotted Pony Society.

Daisy is a wonderful little Pony who is so lovely to handle for adults and little ones. My two year old son toddles around the yard brushing and playing with her and we go on very little rides around the farm. We are looking to find her a new home as she is just a bit fizzy for us. She gets excited when out in the fields and will do cheeky bucks. If you’re after a beautiful little pony to brush and fuss for hours she’s your one.

She needs very limited grazing as is prone to laminitis due to her size. We keep it at bay with careful feed management, including supplementary low calorie feeds twice a day. She currently lives but due to our ground it’s just my preference that she’s stabled over night in winter.

Daisy is absolutely not bothered one bit by vehicles or farm machinery. She loads perfectly every time (we have a lorry but travelled in a trailer in her previous home). She’s easy to catch as she always comes over to you.

She’s great with the farrier and perfect to clip (I clip her to keep her cool as she has a very thick coat).

She does not have sweetitch. She’s upto date with vaccinations.

We’re located near Ashbourne, Derbyshire and welcome viewings.

We’re only going to let Daisy go to a loving knowledgable private home. A loving home is more important than price.

Peanut has 3 lovely paces. Always in the ribbons with dressage.

SJ, peanut is jumping around 70/80, has scope to go higher.

Blake has been with us for 3 fantastic years taking my daughter from jumping 40 to 70 cm courses. He steps up and down the gears to suit the rider. At camp this year he was the pony all the others wanted to swap onto and have a go on!

He is fantastic to catch, load, clip, shoe etc. Good in traffic.

He has never been sick or sorry.

A genuine fun and safe pony, always comes home with a rosette in any type of competition he's entered in including: ridden showing, working hunter, show jumping, arena eventing and Cross Country. Been to stay away shows, pony club camp. He's unfazed by new environments whether a stable in an american barn or electric fence pony lines he's taken it all in his stride.

Will stay tied up to the box all day/stand on the lorry and will happily mow the grass, munch on hay or fall asleep until needed!

Goes first or last when hacking, he will plod around the lanes on the buckle or go cantering through the woods jumping logs and trees.

Slots into any position in pony club rides but often used as lead carrot for other ponies in rallies/ camp.

Hunted with previous owners

Achievements:
Arena Eventing National champs at Eland Lodge: 2nd in 60cm and 4th in 70cm classes. (He has a lovely even paced smooth canter)
Qualified for South West show jumping championships at 60 and 70 cm
Qualified Sunshine tour 60 and 70cm
Won best Pony Club pony (twice)at our pony club show.
Won best all round pony award
Won Area Tetrathlon (Tadpole 60cm class) he went clear for 1400 points and left his rider to focus on the other 3 disciplines!

A very sad sale as only reason we're not keeping him is his rider wants to progress in tetrathlon/eventing and is looking to move onto 80/90 cm courses.

5* home a must, this is a very sad sale.

Lots of videos available on request.

Rocky - A stunning looking pony that is a real star to ride, well mannered and polite and thoroughly enjoys his jumping. Very careful and has been competed regularly with my grandson and has been consistently placed in all NSEA and PC SJ teams.

Over the last year he has been to all our local shows, Hickstead, XC schooling , down to the beach and PC rallies.

A talented but easy pony that is regularly in the ribbons but he is sensible and polite.

Manners at a show that are impeccable, happy to stand quietly at the collecting ring whilst others are being ridden and he loads like a dream.

Rocky has lovely flatwork- he is polite and gentle to ride and is very sensible and trustworthy, he rides very sensibly in big open spaces, is amazing down at the beach and is great XC and will ride calmly alone or in company.

Very good out Hacking and is good with all road and farm traffic, and will go alone or with a group.

Rocky’s stable manners are fantastic - he is lovely to handle by children and will stand for hours with them to be groomed and pampered, he is great with the farrier/ dentist and to clip.

Happy to be turned out with others or alone and he is great to catch, lead in and tie up.

If you want a pony for your child to be safe and well looked after and for them to jump, XC and do some showing he is the one for you!!

Much loved family pony that has all the highest of references from all the local pony clubs and show centres - has given my grandson loads of fun and beautiful to look at!! He deserves a 10* home!!

8 yr old full up 42inch Shetland.

Ronnie has been there and done it. PC, SJ, XC, won’t bat an eyelid when doing cartwheels round his head, hacks alone or in company. Can drive too but we have never done this.

Ronnie is amazing when in work, will follow you to the end of the earth, can go past the heaviest of traffic and will plod around for anyone.

He loves plodding along and stopping for grass snacks. Is a very affectionate pony.

He is not for everyone. He’s currently been out of work over summer as we have been away a lot and don’t have the time for 2 ponies. He needs some patience to get him going again.

He is a typical Shetland and does have a buck and an attitude but once he trusts you will be a little lamb for you.

Good, patient home with a good jockey wanted for this complete dude. He’s too good to waste and my jockey is getting too big.

Price reflective but will go up when we start to bring him back into work

Sad sale of our super pony Kilcolman Poppy after 2.5 years as she has been outgrown by my daughter (now 15).

Poppy is a hunting & Pony Club superstar - forward going, scopey but safe.
She has hunted regularly with us and with her previous family (who we are still in touch with and had her for 7 years), jumping everything and always giving a brilliant fun day and looking after her jockey.

She has also done numerous PC rallies, Camp, SJ, Dressage, Arena Eventing, PC Teams, NSEA, Working Hunter, hedge hopping/fun rides and endless hacking both alone and with others. She is nearly always in the ribbons Show Jumping and Arena Eventing, and has taken my daughter from 70-95cm and given her a real love for competing.

She has been on our Pony Club Area Teams for Show Jumping every year and qualified for the Pony Club Regional Championships in 2023, 2024 and 2025. She is also very well schooled with lovely flatwork, and does a nice dressage test.

Poppy is a joy to take out and about and travels well in a trailer or lorry. She is good to shoe, clip, catch, load and is good in traffic and with farm machinery.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, active hunting/pony club family for Poppy. Her future home is very important to us and we would love to keep in touch. She is brilliant fun and would be perfect for a competent child looking to have lots of fun hunting in winter and doing Pony Club/show jumping in the summer.

Poppy has mild sweet itch, and can lack confidence XC. Masses of photos/videos available on request; also please see video attached below. Full wardrobe included - Kent & Masters saddle, 2 bridles, rugs etc.

Lola is a lovely rising 6-year-old, 14hh piebald cob mare with a brilliant temperament and a sensible head on young shoulders. Broken in at Easter, she's taken everything in her stride; you honestly wouldn't guess she's newly backed unless we told you.

She's excellent in traffic and very little phases her. Happy to hack out alone or in company, she's focused on hacking at the moment but is starting to go into the arena and do a bit of jumping, of which she is showing great enthusiasm. She's a safe forward-going ride who has also been ridden by a novice and behaved beautifully, making her a great potential mother-daughter share.

Lola loads well, is easy to catch, has no vices, and is good to handle on the ground. She has nice manners, enjoys going out and about, and thrives on your company. She will literally follow you round the field and come as soon as she sees you to be caught. She does have a small cosmetic blemish on her elbow; purely visual and causes no issues whatsoever.

Lola is a sweet, honest mare ready to continue her journey with the right person. She'll make someone a really lovely all-rounder.

Very sad and reluctant sale of our handsome Connemara pony Joey. We have owned him since February 2020 and he had done nothing but hacking and the lady who owned him was quite nervous and so he had done very little. Joey is 100% in all respects catch, box (box or trailer), farrier, vet, sheath cleaner, dentist and is a dream to clip he practically falls asleep ! and has no vices.

Has been competed mainly in showing and dressage classes and he excels in these, he has done well in riding club pony, WHP and loves a day at Somerford Park over the natural fences and through the water. Could make a great event pony.

His education was a bit hit and miss due to covid 19 , then owners medical problems, and my granddaughter who is the jockey going off to Reaseheath college for a 2 year course. Joey did go to college at first but he hated it so we brought him home and he now only gets ridden at the weekends if the weather permits !

We as a family feel it is unfair to keep Joey as he is wasted and would make someone very happy as he loves to please and has a lot to give and he will go much further in the right hands , it goes without saying it is a heartbreaking sale for us & will be sadly missed.

Whilst Joey has a good pop in him he has had limited exposure to showjumping as it was not my granddaughters preference she preferred showing. But as you will see from the photos he shows a great deal of promise. With that said with the right jockey i am sure he can go far.
Joey is realistically priced to sell and quality tack and a full wardrobe can be negotiated at extra cost.

Has had HWSD genetic testing - so no worries there

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO READERS OF THIS ADD - I must ask for no time wasters PLEASE !

Absolutely No novices , no joy riders or hoof kickers - Joey is far to good and will only be sold to a kind and knowledgeable and experienced home , as this is what he truly deserves and is used to.

Thank you for looking an he is very reasonably priced so as not to allow him to go to waste.

He will jump coloured fences and XC fences all the same, doesn’t change in new environments and wants to get it right.

A genuinely lovely pony to hack out, brilliant in open spaces, chaotic environments and heavy / busy traffic, he doesn’t ride any different when alone or in company.

Chips is easy to have around, easy to do and a low maintenance type, a kind pony who loves children, likes to be groomed and pampered.

Open to any vet or trainer.

For sale; Blackie, a wonderful sturdy little hacking / project pony

Fantastic temperament and character – great with small children, dogs and other horses with kind ground manners.

Can live out 24/7, but equally happy and hugely polite in a stable – even when his other stable mate goes off out without him.

Easy to catch, good for the farrier, good for the vet, good for the dentist, easy to worm and has been fully clipped without issue, although he is a bit impatient when his legs are clipped.

Will load perfectly onto either a small narrow trailer or large horsebox

Particularly enjoys a groom and a fuss and stands beautifully when tied up - fell asleep having his mane pulled recently

Barefoot – trims required every 7 weeks or so

Currently living with a mare, has also lived with a gelding and in a mixed herd without issue

Passed a stage 2 vetting when I bought him in 2022 and I’ve had no issues with him health wise/soundness since. No laminitis but we do manage his grazing

Up to date with vaccinations – next due by 15 December 2025, teeth rasped May 2025 and feet trimmed 13th August

He has apparently been broken as a ride and drive pony, but I’ve no experience of this so am not able to guarantee his ability

Has so far been unphased in all sorts of traffic - he is used to large farm vehicles and construction workers' vehicles

Low maintenance – lives pretty much on fresh air

LOVES, his hacking (alone or in company) and is very happy to squeeze through small gaps, cross little bridges, goes up and down banks, pops over logs, will splash through water and will go for hours without being silly once you turn for home.

Blackie is an honest, fun, genuine pony with a big heart and a lot of character. He will make a small lightweight adult or competent child jockey very happy. He has also proven to be safe and reliable when used as a lead rein pony. However, he is not a novice ride in certain situations. He started out with me as a green 5-year-old and was used exclusively for hacking for my daughter who was still relatively inexperienced herself. She had weekly lessons on him to further his education and they both made lovely progress, but we never took him to any pony club events, rallies, clinics etc. My daughter outgrew him rather too quickly, so he moved very locally (on loan) to my sister and her 2 children and has been with them since November 2024. Whilst he has been pretty much foot perfect hacking – on and off the lead rein – they started to take him to some small events and this is where we have run into some problems. He found the noisier events stressful and with a novice rider on board his behaviour escalated and sadly they had to pull out of the latest event as his jockey didn’t feel confident enough to continue with the class. I certainly believe this could be worked on (alias the project pony reference) as he has shown a flair for jumping, and at other quieter events with an experienced rider on board and a smaller group of ponies he has tried really hard, but realistically my niece needs a pony that has “been there and done it”.

I will only sell to a 5* home for him (no dealers or riding schools please) where he has company, endless hacks to enjoy and for somebody experienced to get the best out of him – he is a quick learner and whilst I already think he is absolutely cracking, there is much more potential to unlock for somebody who has time and love to give him.

He will come with all his tack, which includes a saddle bought brand new for him (Wintec) and some rugs, although unless the weather is absolutely brutal, he can manage without.

Very hard to pick videos, I have so many but I have shared one of him being an absolute gent in the stable for his current little owners, one of him having a canter in the open with his current young rider and another showing him coming unphased through a pond with other ponies on a recent hack (he is the one in the front). All videos have been taken in the last 6 weeks.
