Fabulous child’s second fun pony. Selena as she’s called at home has been with us for just under a year, in that time she’s done everything from beach rides, fun rides, showing classes and local show jumping competitions.

As time goes on my daughter now solely wants to concentrate on her showing on the flat of which Selena sadly isn’t that keen on. She absolutely loves jumping, hacking, going to the beach etc and really is looking for a little jockey she can have fun with. She isn’t a fan of going round in circles in the school unless there’s trot poles / show jumps involved then she goes round with a smile on her face

We feel she would excel in a pony club environment also she would excel as a working hunter pony. She is bold and forward to a fence jumping anything that’s been asked. She has also hacked in company and will go first or last and is good in traffic.

Handled daily by my young daughter Good to trim , box , clip, farrier

Up to date with vaccinations / teeth etc

No messers / time wasters

100’s of videos / photos etc

10 star home sort for this mare.

Bridle and Saddle included as it’s been fitted by a master saddler and can still be adjusted as she grows and develops.

Fun loving Welsh section C mare from the Thistledown stud. Beautiful head and chunky in the body to take up the leg. Has been very successful showing locally but unfortunately daughter is growing at an alarming rate.

Same home for three years and has been to pony club rallies & camp as well as shared lessons. Loves xc and open field hacking without getting hot or fizzy.

Barefoot and a good doer - snaffle mouthed, teeth, vaccinations and worming all up to date. Loads easily and will stand on the lorry at shows patiently.

We haven’t SJ her competitively but happily pops 70cm at home.

Crowned the dressage diva at camp as her flat work is established in all three paces.

Rosie is a second pony who knows her job so not for complete novices. Does nap at times when her best friend leaves the arena and Rosie doesn’t.

Sold with made to measure Flyde Favina show saddle.

Molly is a gorgeous and very versatile pony. She is BS registered with 94 points. Double Clears at Stepping Stones which has qualified her for the Cats & Pipes Final 2025. She is a fantastic BS Starter Pony.

Competed up to 90cm in Ireland, been hunting and lots of Pony Club rallies.

She is currently ridden successfully by a 8 year old at shows/ hacking/ open fields/ XC etc. She doesn’t need to be schooled by adults.

Molly will look after a beginner rider and will happily trot around a course of cross poles, or she will step it up for a capable rider.

She has never kicked, reared or bucked.

An honest pony which doesn’t look at fillers, water trays, brushes, coloured or rustic jumps. Never stops. Been through water. She behaves at arena hire, cross country, pony club rallies, fun rides and competitions, the same as she does at home. Perfect in open spaces and not strong.

Handled by kids daily. Ridden by children only, 8-11 year olds. She’s also been used as a lead rein pony for my 3 year old son.

Up to date with farrier, injections, chiropractor, dentist and wormers.

Priced to sell, as bigger pony already purchased & here.

Located near Derby, DE65

Bubbles – Welsh Section A, 11hh. Are you looking for a unicorn disguised as a pony? Well, meet Bubbles – our wonderfully quirky, cuddly, and completely loveable lead rein legend who’s sadly been outgrown.

What Bubbles LOVES:
• Cuddles (a professional snuggler – available 24/7)
• Small humans (his favorite kind of people)
• Pamper sessions (think spa day, but with extra carrots)
• Trotting on the lead rein like a tiny equine superstar
• Walks both on and off the lead rein – he’s your trusty, plodding pal
• Hacking adventures (bonus points if there’s grass to snack on)
• Leading off a big horse like he’s head of security
• Babysitting nervous horses and ponies (he’s basically a hairy therapist for 2 legged and 4 legged friends)
• Believing he’s a Labrador – he’ll follow you around like one too!

What Bubbles DOESN’T love so much:
• Men (sorry, gents – he’s a ladies’ man)
• Cantering (he prefers a more leisurely lifestyle)
• Hard work (he’s all about the slower plans)

Bubbles is the perfect first pony for your tiny tot who wants a gentle, reliable friend. He’s a laid-back babysitter and an experienced leader of tiny human-parades. If your child wants a pony they can brush, cuddle, and trot happily around with, Bubbles is your boy.

Homes where cuddles are a daily requirement and snacks are plentiful only need apply.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Narla is a beautiful, 6 year old Full Connemara Mare, with the looks and temperament to match.

She has been professionally broken as a youngster, and then slowly and carefully produced since there with her future in mind. She has not been rushed or pushed.

She would excel in any discipline.. she has done a bit of everything with her current owner. Beach rides, sponsored rides, cross country training, dressage, showjumping, hunting.

Narla hasn't competed much at all but is ready to go out and have fun. She would make a wonderful Pony Club pony but has the ability for more. She has a great jump and has been jumped over 1.15m at home, so has the ability with more experience. Works beautifully in an outline.

Very sane and sensible and fine in open spaces. Hacks very well in company. Hacks fine on her own, however can very occasionally nap home ... she doesn't do anything silly just stands and with a bit of leg and she moves forward no problem (i'm not sure of many kids on a pony hacking out on their own so should never be a problem!).

Snaffle mouthed at all times.

Loads in a lorry/trailer like a dream, stands perfectly for the farrier (is currently shod all round), easy to clip. She will stand for hours being fussed and groomed, she really is a dream of a pony and loves human attention. Good to catch and comes when called in the field. She has a great jump and has been jumped over 1.15m at home.

Teeth, vaccinations, as well as routine chiro/osteo (recently done) all up to date. No lumps/bumps/vices.

Open to vetting.

Full Green Passport & NN-HWSD.

Narla has been ridden by everyone from professionals to novice children, however due to her age we ask for no beginners.

  • Fabulous temperament
  • Very talented, scopey and trainable
Broken over last winter and attended PC events with a 14yo, dressage and show jumping

Quince is my homebred so full history known since birth

He shows a real talent and love for jumping, although green in this regard he is incredibly willing

I also feel he would make an outstanding dressage prospect, with very balanced rythmical paces, and a trainable temperament

This pony could go far in any sphere

He is an absolute poppet to do everything with

Recently ridden by a 9yo girl and went very sweetly

Quince is a young competition pony so please no novices

138cm Event/ Tet Pony.

We have owned Jack for just over 3 1/2 years and he’s now rising 9.

Jack has been produced from a green 5yr old taking my son from jumping 70cm to having a great first season at BE90.

Memorable Achievements to date:
Eland Lodge National Hunter Trial Champion 2022
Regional Pony Club Eventing Champs 2023 individual and Team 2nd
1st place Little Gatcombe BE90
Qualified for Cotswold Cup Final 2023 and 2024
Double Clear Bicton 3DE 90

Jack is a XC machine and has competed in all pony club activities including attending residential PC camp and tetrathlons.

A forward responsive ride and the nicest pony to handle. 100% Box, shoe, clip etc.

It has become apparent he does need a competitive/ secure rider. We’ve had a few viewings where kids have had wobbly lower legs and loose reins/ unable to pull. So a child that is established.

We bought Dazzle to rebuild my daughters confidence after she lost it all with a rather sharp pony and now Carmen is jumping round 80/90 courses on a very forward, fast pony and we couldn't have achieved this without this wonderful mare. Dazzle is an honest and kind pony she would be great as a 1st or 2nd pony particularly for a rider looking to move into showjumping she will take you from poles on the ground to jumping round courses, or if you prefer to move into x country without the fear of a pony taking off and being too strong shes great for that too.

We have taken her to x-country, pony club, and hunted her. We compete regularly and enjoy hacking her in open spaces across farmland. She is great with traffic too. Hacked at least once a week on roads. We normally compete her at 60/70/80 and she will jump 90cm at home. She will also drop down to trotting happily over cross poles.

Dazzle can be slightly behind the leg but not a kick-a-long , you will learn to ride very well with her and she is never sharp or silly.

She will jump anything at x country whether its, brushes, barrels anything! Fillers and water trays do not phase her and she is not a spooky pony. She is great through water but sometimes needs encouragement if the water is particularly deep (dont we all though!) and will go in an outline in all three paces. She can perform a nice dressage test.

She isn't the most cuddly pony as sometimes she can throw a few funny faces and is very protective over her food! She prefers other horses not to get to close behind her. Super easy to load, travel, bath, groom and clip, easy for dental and vet and farrier.

Turned out individually, she enjoys being out but does need to have her grass intake managed due to her breed.

Dazzle has made me feel very comfortable as a parent, its not easy to find confidence building ponies for children and we will be honestly sad to see her go. Please feel free to call me to discuss as its important to us that she goes to the right home as she's been simply brilliant.

All Vacinations and dental fully up to date.

Carrie is a lovely stamp of a pony who is talented and experienced in all disciplines.

She is a very sweet, kind natured and well behaved pony. Currently handled and looked after by 12 year old girl who hacks her out alone, Carrie is equally as good to hack when in company both on roads and when in open country.

Carrie enjoys her jumping, and is bold and careful. She is more forward going to jump but is sensible and Looks after her rider, a quick thinking clever pony who sorts her own strides into a fence. She has over £500 BS points jumping. She competes at 80 - 90cm and qualified for the National Championships last year both in the Stepping Stones and the Bronze League final. This being said Carrie enjoys a varied lifestyle doing all sorts of activities . She has been to pony club rallies, trail hunting and Dressage.

Carrie is good to shoe and clip and loads and travels well.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming and dentist etc.
A good home is sought for this very special pony

She 137.5cm with a lifetime height certificate
