14.1hh 7 year old show jumping / pony club / working hunter

Dolly is my 7 year old welsh type jumping pony.

On the ground she’s amazing to handle. Kids adore her, both my novice nieces (7&10) can catch her, bring her in, brush her and help to tack her up. They’ve both ridden her off the lead rein in the arena and hacked her out in walk with someone at the side of them.

Ridden she’s fun and forward, a little bit spooky welsh when hacking but nothing out of the ordinary. Just if sheep or cows are running around really. I’ve taken her a few times now and she loves hunting! She’ll jump anything out hunting along with them big hunters! She’s very good with traffic.

Jumping and Competition wise she’s cleared around 1.10 at home and is out jumping classes 70-1m. She’s competed unaffiliated up to 90 (clear rounds up to 1m) often placing 1st & 2nd. She’s quite speedy too, so good in a jump off.

She’s qualified for trailblazers 60-90, qualified for the harry hall ace at 90, and for the aintree champs 60-80. She’s through to the second rounds for the BSJA senior 85cm 2025. She’s also 11th in Friday night Sykehosue league as it stands and we’ve only been to about half of them.

We stepped up to BSJA from unaffiliated a few weeks ago and have started jumping Equiyd 85cm National Amateur Championship Qualifier - First Round & Senior British Novice Championship - First Round classes. She’s got around with a pole or two down in each class mostly but got our first double clear 85cm at aintree early July annoying just missing placing in 7th. She has a good canter rhythm and is now getting used to the style of a full BSJA course from unaffiliated.

She schools nicely on the flat and looks amazing when she goes in a nice outline. I have had a 13 year old riding and competing her show jumping and working hunter and she adores her too.

I’m wanting to move onto horses and work my way up BSJA now and have just bought a horse to start competing so am starting to tentatively look for a forever home for Dolly.

She would suit a keen confident kid/teen who wants a forward pony to jump. I think she’d also make a good pony club pony as you can carry jump wings / cones around while riding her and she isn’t phased by that at all. She’d possibly make a second pony for an experienced rider with a horsey family.

Very straightforward young pony with a super sweet, willing temperament.

Well put together. Machno Chamomile is bred to be a competition pony, but has the attitude to be a lovely allrounder/PC pony too! Will do a seriously smart test in the future as naturally balanced and relaxed on the flat.

Been out to Prelim dressage once - scoring 64% at her first outing and proving very sensible. Slowly brought on, going out to clinics and training shows. Bold and unphazed by fillers etc. XC schooling sensibly, happily popping up and down steps, through the water and over a variety of fences.

Good fun pony - not silly or whizzy but enjoys her job. Ready for a competent teen to take her on and start getting her out and about. Equally would be a lovely quality type for a small adult to enjoy and produce further. Potential in any sphere. Definitely won't exceed 148.

Easy to do in all ways. Hacks alone and in company - pretty much anyone’s ride, but absolutely no novices due to her age. Passes big traffic, will hack on the buckle etc - but will still occasionally spook at a leaf that's looked at her funny!

Birdie is a lovely 14hh 4 yo (old head on young shoulders!) proper irish cob. She is a well marked beautiful pony inside and out!

Birdie is good to hack, alone or in company-she is good traffic and good with other horses. She is good to ride on the road, and good to ride in open space. She does not buck, rear, nap etc - she is only 4yo but has a superb attitude and lovely temperament to be ridden by children.

Birdie is working well in the school- she walk trot canters correctly, and is soft in the mouth, again she is a 4yo so there is so so much more to come. But she has all the correct attributes and training to become something really special- either for the show ring or dressage potential.

Birdie jumps very well, she has a great technique, she is careful in front and v good behind over a fence. She is bold and careful with all fillers. She had attended clear round show jumping shows, she is good in the warm up with other ponies and no different in the ring.

Birdie is brave xc, she is good into water/ditches and all xc fences that she has been asked to jump. She is a naturally careful pony.

Birdie is an easy pony to have around, she is good to load, lead, catch, travel and stands to be bathed- she is lovely in the stable and not mareish and would be happy with children around her.

Good to shoe, good to clip. She is open to any vet inspection and has no health issues.

She is only a 4yo, but she is such an old head on young shoulders. She is a proper pony and jumps well, she will excel in any competitive sphere whether that is sj, eventing, showing. She is substantial enough for adults to ride and jump. She would be an ideal mother/child share. As she is young I wouldn’t say any young horse is suitable for a total novice home- but she is a forgiving pony for a child to ride. She does jump well so I wouldn’t say she would be totally suitable for an incredibly nervous child- she is a game little girl and will give someone so much fun and love, and is ready to find her new home! 5* home wanted for a very highly thought of pony!!

Backed at the beginning of this year, therefore not suitable for a novice. Fantastic all rounder for an amateur to go and enjoy in any sphere. Fantastic attitude to take out, been so keen in her learning.

Would measure for the 133 workers, AHC can be arranged, if this was the intention of purchase. Has started jumping and very bold and keen.

Was always bought with intentions to produce and sell, if I wasn’t so busy with my other I would be keeping her.

Finley has taken her to PC camp and rallies, competed successfully in SJ & dressage she goes hacking around our very busy village & local woodland.

Ive had an absolute ball taking her xc she is brave and honest to a fence , popping ditches, steps and splashing through the water . She would be a top class Plaited or M&M whp. She’s confident with fillers planks etc
Ponies are not Finley’s main hobby so she’s not been pushed or rushed competitively but has been given a very good education and is ready for a family to take on and have a lot of fun with.

She is balanced in all three paces, works evenly into both reins and is supple and responsive to the leg . Bella has been ridden by smaller children and is always polite and kind dinking up and down.

Good to load , trim ,catch etc. loves cuddles, being fussed over and groomed.
