Hope is a fun but forward and enthusiastic ride with good brakes!! She is lovely and soft in the mouth and responsive to every aid - a real pleasure to ride and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching my daughter on her.
We have done all sorts on Hope: clinics, camps, competitions, PC and NSEA, in a range of disciplines and she has rewarded my daughter by qualifying for various championships. She has great lateral work, currently scoring mid 60s% dressage and also excels WH - flying over the spookiest of flower, brush and teddy fillers! Recently attended a SJ/ XC camp at Somerford where she yet again proved herself to be such a genuine pony in training and whilst not quite ready to compete XC she proved herself to have alot of natural talent. Truly enjoys SJ and is currently gaining double clears whilst competing up to 85cm - Hope is extremely careful over fences and gives her all to go clear.
Correctly & professionally backed & brought on before my daughter introduced her to competitions and developed her confidence both jumping and on the flat under the guidance of professional coaches.
Extremely easy on the ground & can be kept alone or in company. She’s not at all bothered about being left behind & happily travels & stables alone. Practically horizontal in the stable yet still fun and safe out.
Good to hack, clip, with vet/ farrier/ to catch etc. Absolutely no vices and has great feet - currently barefoot
Rising 7, Hope has been an absolute treasure to own and is an incredibly quick learner. She is now ready for a competent teen (11/12yrs plus) or lightweight adult to have lots of fun with and continue her education! She’d be well suited to an experienced home currently whizzing round 70/80 having reached the limit of their ponies abilities & looking for a pony to work with & take to the next level. She is not the next step up from 50/60 simply due to her age - she still needs a rider who'll continue to build her confidence. Therefore not suited to a very nervous or novice rider. We’ve jumped 105cm (small spread) at home but have generally been taking it slow so as not to overface her.
Price now adjusted (15.5.25) to include full wardrobe (total value over £1k). Please note I will not sell her without her current saddle as she is very happy in it and this is one variable in her rehoming that can be managed and I've recently realised I will not compromise on and would expect a new owner to appreciate. It could be traded in at a later date as it is in excellent condition, bought new around 6 months ago and recently checked and refitted. (16.5", adjustable, brown, Kent and Masters, long leg PC saddle - prof fitted) .
Full history known since age of 2. Very important that we find the right home for this special little pony so pls call/ message if you think you might make a good match and are actively looking to purchase and not window shopping. I will ask for ridden videos to avoid wasting anyone’s time and I won’t consider sold unseen. Unfortunately, no loans either as need to find daughter her next horse. Located Kendal, Cumbria, LA8.
