Gorgeous 9 year old section B gelding 12.2h. Top class pony club / allrounder.

He’s not a FYFR more of a 2nd pony as can have the odd spook. Powerful little pony but totally safe. Doesn’t buck, rear, nap, take off, spin or anything. Just needs to be ridden forward and given a job. We have owned him for 2 yrs and bought him when my daughter was 8.

A dream to ride on the flat with lateral work established. Beautiful canter. Forward going but not strong. Consistently scores in the 70s at Prelim dressage.

Would make a fantastic dressage pony but my daughter has no interest in this. Attended pony club camp summer of 2024 being a total star. Fast learner with good work ethics.

Numerous placings unaffiliated showjumping at 60 and 70cm. Qualified BS JFS Winter Finals 60 and 70cm. Jumps 1m at home with ease. Been xc schooling and proving very brave. He’s brilliant at home and will jump anything. At a venue he knows and is comfortable he will jump round and most likely place as he covers the ground well. Somewhere new he can nap / freeze and will find a filler that is out to get him. Not a dirty stopper he just dries up 3-4 strides before the jump. For that reason he is not a BS starter pony / U10s pony. He has the canter and the scope to be a top track pony and that is what we believed he could be when we bought him.

All the potential to be a top showing pony. Moves nicely. Good breeding. Flashy type.

If you’re in it for the long run and want your child to actually learn how to ride he’s your pony. If you want to go out and win red rosettes on autopilot he’s not for you. My daughter adores him and has learnt an enormous amount on him.

He’s good to hack alone and in company. Good in open spaces. Good to catch, clip, load, travel, farrier, dentist. A lovely personality with lots of character.

Up to date with everything.

A very loved pony and a heartbreaking sale.

Lots of videos on Instagram @izzy_thomponies (an honest account showing the good and the bad).

Based in Surrey.

Total Diamond of a pony 12.1h really kind genuine pony taken my daughter from nervous leadrein to confident off lead.

Snaffle mouth goes nicely off the leg without constant kicking, just keeps a nice rythm, pops round a course of jumps done many little shows and behaves like she does at home.

Harlow is the gold dust type hard to find my daughter is ready for a bigger pony and the next step up.

Harlow has given my daughter so much confidence on the flat, jumping and hacking she really is a lovely little pony a total pleasure have.

She will teach to ride for many years and make a super pc type.

Good to box, feet, clip, load and travel.

With three generations that ride we have owned horses our whole lives hunted, evented, shown, and Pony Clubbed.

We keep the horses at home and I look after them myself so the ponies can chose their routine. We have access to amazing hacking, schooling facilities and are active members of the SOSPC. Refrences available from previous loaners, Vets and PC DC. Home vists and continued contact welcomed.

We are looking for a pony for our 8yr old son who would like to take the next step off the most incredible first ridden. He also has a younger brother so long term home offered.

Pony will have a varied life doing all PC activities, lots of hacking, Eventing, tetrathalon and being my sons best friend

Jasper is beautifully schooled on the flat and does a super test as well as being a fabulous little jumper, he's careful, straight and super clever, he really tries to please.

Jasper is lovely to hack, he rides alone and in company, will go first or last and will also lead of another horse. He is brilliant in all traffic and not at all spooky or silly.

He has done pony club, hunt rides, schools comps, unaffiliated eventing and riding club activities. He is good to shoe/box/clip/catch and good to load and travel.

Topper is a 6 year old, top class, dun connemara. He has been correctly produced for the last 3 years, has 3 lovely paces, works correctly in a outline and forward off your leg.

He loves to jump, has done a few unaffiliated showjumping classes with his 8 year old rider and he looked after her like a pro. More recently has been schooled and jumped with a more experienced rider to help him gain some more experience over different fences. He is super bold to XC jumps, has done ditches, water, steps ect.

Plenty of scope in the tank, we are sure he could go on to do some very decent tracks with more mileage.

On the flat he is correct, straight and shows great potential in either showing or dressage.

Fantastic to hack, never silly in open spaces and great alone or in company. Currently lives on a busy working farm and is unfazed by all machinery. Will stand all day to be pampered and fussed, the easiest pony on the ground, always handled by kids from a young age.

Very sad sale of much loved family pony, but unfortunately due to other ponies and commitments he is not getting the time he deserves, so we are looking for a 5* family home who can continue with his education and go out and have some fun.

Full history known of this lovely chap. Based on the Gloucestershire / Oxfordshire border.

Daisy is a 4 year old mare, 13.1 Welsh section C mountain pony. We have owned Daisy since a 2 year old and she has now been broken and is being ridden by myself.

Daisy is a very sweet pony and will put her all into what you ask of her. Daisy is good in all ways on the ground and under saddle. She is good on a horse walker, good to turn out, lead, groom, tack up , etc.

She has been clipped before (trace clip) and she was perfect, no issues.

She loads amazingly and will walk straight onto a trailer or lorry and travels well. Since being broken she has not put a foot wrong and is a lovely pony to ride and has 3 lovely paces. She is very comfortable to ride and very well balanced for her age.

She is currently jumping small courses of cross poles with a lot of potential to be a good jumping pony for a child. She will hack out and is very good in open spaces and traffic as she lived on the side of a busy road for 2 years. She is very good to lunge and long rein, she has been hacked in hand whilst the rider was riding another horse with no issues. She has been ridden in an outdoor and indoor school with no issues.

She has also done an in hand show as a 2 year old, coming away with a lot of rosettes. She is ridden in a basic snaffle.

She will be an amazing kids pony and she would also be good as a further project for a teen.

She will go very far with a knowledgable family!

OZZY

Ref #: 377423

  • Enormous potential to make a class M&M WHP or could be shown trimmed and plaited as a 143cm WHP

Registered New Forest gelding, registered name is Backley Osprey.

Fun and versatile pony who will do most jobs and would be a top class M&M WHP.

Cracking pony who loves to have a job to do and has a good attitude to his work. Ozzy is working sweetly on the flat and starting to work on the bridle. He has three good paces and it won’t take much to get him dressage test or show ring ready.

Ozzy’s real love is his jumping, he’s on springs! He gives a great feel over a fence and just loves the job, he has jumped a few unaffiliated shows up to 80cm and has loads of scope to go on, he’s careful, brave and wants to leave poles up! He has been out to a couple of training shows with us and was very very good, with lots to like!

Lightly XC schooled and lots of potential, Ozzy would suit an active PC/BS or possibly eventing home and is sure to do well in whatever path his next owner chooses. Being a registered NF he has enormous potential to make a class M&M WHP or could be shown trimmed and plaited as a 143cm WHP, he has a lot to offer! Ozzy is brilliant out hacking both alone and in company, good in traffic and sensible in open spaces.

Ozzy has been with a family the last two years being started and introduced to competitive life. Teenage son who was main rider has just got in to racing school hence sad sale as Ozzy is too good to be left in the field. He’s a sweet pony on the ground but spent his first week with us being a bit of a drama queen. Once he established routine and boundaries he settled right in, he would not suit a novice family for this reason.

Like most talented ponies he has his quirks, he is fine to do most things with but not great with the farrier and was worried by clippers. He will need time and patience to sort this and price reflects this. Saying this he is not a difficult pony day to day and is handled here by everyone, ridden by riders 12yrs upwards and will take a less experienced rider safely.

I would like to see him join a competitive family where he will give lots of fun and many rosettes!

Seen at livery.

Dappled grey mare, 4 yrs 14.2hh.

N/N HWSD

Very flashy with her dark dapples, silver mane and white tail. She is beautiful both inside and out and will make someone a fabulous horse, whether it be showing, working hunter or just a happy hack.

Has lunged, long reined, worn tack and being lightly backed, and led round with a rider on board. Now ready for someone to progress to the next stages of her education. Clients ponies are sadly taking up my time, and she deserves that special someone to give her the attention she deserves.

No lumps, bumps, vices or hang ups. Beautifully put together. With her class 1 breeding throughout her pedigree, she is eligible for grading. She comes to call, is good to groom, wash, lead and tie up. Loads and travels well.

Lives in or out and in a mixed herd.

Kind experienced home is a must for this fabulous mare.

Danny (Wotsit), extremely eye-catching dun/buckskin gelding with Class 1 breeding. He is stunning to look at, with with beautiful markings.

Ridden and competed in the past year by my 15 year old daughter, with some professional help too, he is only now for sale due to lack of time to produce him to his full potential & he is ready to go on to the next level. He has been produced slowly and carefully so far and has the potential to turn his hoof to any competitive sphere.

My daughter has done a bit of everything with him including a stay away camp, ODE, cross country, showjumping, pony club & loads of hacking both alone and in company. Bold & brave XC, with beautiful uphill paces and a big show jump too, he would do WHP, event, show jump or even do pure dressage with the right rider.

Wotsit is quite sensitive, with plenty still to learn & very forward going, especially jumping, so he is not suitable for a novice or for an older child looking for a 'first horse' unless very capable rider.

Ideally looking for a home experienced with young horses, to match his talent & be able to produce him further. He is very special to us so it must be the right home.

He absolutely loves to have a job, needs a busy and active environment where he can enjoy variety, lots of turnout and attention.

No vices, he is good in all ways, a truly lovely horse on the ground & very genuine & honest in all he does.

Full history known & recently passed a pre sale 5 stage vetting . Can be viewed near Vale View, East Midlands.

Stanswood Pageboy, affectionately known as Fat Stan to us, is a 7 year old chunky New Forest pony.

We bought Stan in January for my Daughter to produce. He'd had a great start in life with his former owner, going to flatwork and showjumping clinics etc but had been out of work for a year when we got him.

Stan schools nicely and has established balanced paces. He carries himself well and easily works in an outline. He's not whizzy but isn't a plod either. Unphased generally in life. He loves jumping, is careful, scopey, with a nice technique and has been out and about cross country schooling - jumping everything first time. Stan has done showjumping arena hires (jumping round 80) and unaffiliated showjumping (60 and 70) winning a rosette every time. He's never stopped at a fence and isn't bothered about fillers/water trays/planks etc.

He hacks alone and in company. He can have a look at things out on his own but has never napped, spun, reared, bolted.

Stan is easy to catch, groom, tack up, load (only had him on a 2 horse and lorry, previous owner used a trailer), bath, lead. No vices. Up to date with vaccs and worming. Lives out with mares or geldings but happy to come in. Very kind and loving. He's good for the farrier (barefoot) and the dentist. Loves to be clipped. Ridden in a snaffle, never even needed a martingale. Just a lovely character to be around in all ways.

Stan had a small pea sized lump on his shoulder (under his saddle) which his previous owner had removed. The lump was found to be harmless. He has a scar there now which cannot be seen when he is ridden and doesn't bother him at all. Other than that he's never been sick or sorry.

Stan likes to nibble be it reins, furry hoods, pockets. He is a cheeky chap and incredibly endearing.

Sad sale of a much loved pony who could do a number of jobs - pony club, WHP, mother-daughter share hunting, hacking, family friend. He is still young and learning but has fantastic potential so no novices, nervous riders or hysterical parents. Experienced homes only - I want to see this pony go on to great things.

Sold with his bridle.

  • Would be a fantastic PC/ hunting pony

Super quality, fun & characterful 13.1 5yo gelding.

Smartie was bred and broken in Ireland, with children doing the bulk of the riding away. Having been ridden down the busiest of roads, through rivers, uphill and downdale, needless to say he is not at all the spooky or sensitive type.

He has since come over here and spent time schooling, hacking, and going to venues/ clinics, ridden by children, teen and adults alike.

He is a very sweet and comical chap, and goes through life with a positive attitude!

To ride he is safe and sensible but not a first pony. He would suit a child or teen that likes to have some fun, as whilst he will plod around steadily, I don’t think he would suit this being his job title.

He would be a fantastic PC/ hunting pony and really enjoy this. Has good, willing flatwork although plenty of room for improvement. He is bold to coloured and rustic fences including dykes/ coffins/ drops.

Very good to hack alone and in company. No vices, blemishes or ailments.

Statesman is a true gentleman

We purchased him straight from the stud a few months ago.

He's walking, trotting and cantering and has free jumped over some jumps and has shown potential.

He's started hacking out and isn't bothered in the slightest, took him to an indoor arena hire the other day and plodded over some cross poles which he quite enjoyed.

He will be a super fun pony club type, all rounder and equally he's quality enough for showing.

Based in Nottinghamshire.
