CYNBROOK HEIRESS

7 year old bay mare 138cm AHC

Based near Belfast in Northern Ireland

Type hard to find.

Ridden and produced for two and a half years by 11-13 year old boy who has now sadly outgrown her.

Full breeding recorded, up to date with vaccines, teeth, physio etc

Brooke is quiet, well mannered, and easy to work with. Bare foot, easy to trim, travels on lorry and trailer, and stands to be clipped. She thrives on attention and can be led by the smallest of children.

We do not hack on our roads so this is something that I cannot say Brooke is or isn't good at. However we do plenty of field work which she loves.

Brooke has attended lots of PC Rallies inc dressage, xc, and arena eventing. She has done training level Working Hunter, (son is not keen on showing or dressage but she is fab at both, and well able to win) and Derbies and jump crosses with wins at both.

Brooke has mainly been used for SJ as this is where my son's passion lies. Brooke has accumulated 208 SJI points in a year and a half including wins at 1m, making her a Grade A. Brooke can be very fast and turn tight against the clock but is not hot or fizzy.

She has travelled to all the big shows including Cavan, Barnadown, Meadows etc as well as RDS Qualifiers she has taken part in and got 2nd in the young pony series 2023 as an inexperienced 5 year old, and 4th place in 2025 at 1m. In 2024 Brooke qualified for the RDS in the 138cm and under equitation class first attempt placing a fab 2nd 0.5 marks behind first.

Brooke won the Ulster region 138cm 90cm TRI spring league and came 3rd in the 80cm league. She won the all Ireland Discovery league in Ulster 2024. She qualified for the All Ireland inter provincial finals in both the 80 and 90cm classes where she placed 4th in the final in the 80cm and 3rd in the 90cm in the final against the best in Ireland.

Brooke has just completed the Ulster 2025 TRI league where she won the 90cm class championship final and the whole 90cm league for the 2nd year in a row. She has also won the Ulster discovery league 2025 and 4th in the 1m Ulster League.

Due to her consistency Brooke is currently sitting top in the whole of Ireland for 138cm 7 year olds at 90cm, and top in combinations with Zac despite not being over jumped.

She is also qualified for the All Ireland Pony Show Jumping Championships 2025 in both the 90cm and 1m classes. The young pony series final for 6/7 year olds at 1m and the Discovery league Championship final at 90 cm.

Brooke is not spooky, hot or hard to work with, she has been at stay away shows without any issues.

Brooke deserves the right home to continue on her journey, despite still being young she is level headed, kind, and transparent. She will step down for a younger child.

Equally she would be well suited for Pony Club, dressage/showing/working hunter, xc etc as she loves variety.

We have hundreds of videos and photos of Brooke. She is priced according to her ability and nature.

A beautifully put together young pony with a nice temperament and sensible attitude

He has been slowly produced up until now doing lots of hacking, he is great with traffic and hacks the same whether he is alone or in company

He has just started working in the school and is showing to be willing although still green in this area. He has popped a few small show jumps and has took to this well

He will make a great all round pony for a competent child or small adult, good to do in all ways - easy to catch, loads on a trailer, handle on the ground etc

No novice riders due to his age, this is a sad sale so Flynt is looking for a family home only

Rides and drives

Rios been nothing but the sweetest baby hes been out on hound exercise where he was a total legend ridden by a child, and would absolutely love to be a hunter!

hes been on a fun ride and loved every second even with people blasting past he was just great.

He will be a amazing allrounder aswel, in the arena hes working nicely and would be a great asset for a riding school as definitely a kick along in there.

Has been hacking alone in traffic with a confident rider to show him how it's done.

Rio is green but extremely willing and just wants to please we have given him a great bit of experience here so for this reason no novices unless you have a good experienced person along your side to keep up his good work!

Hes not cheap hes quality my little future star

Backed and ridden away last year as a 4yr old. Walk, trot, canter in the arena and hacking. Turned away with the intention of being brought back into work as a 5yr old but I haven't had time so being sold as a nice little project.

Same home since he was a foal, living in a mixed herd. Well handled by children but needs bringing back into work before he's suitable for children and pony club etc.

My Welshies are slow growing and Power still has a lot of filling out still to come.

Lots of presence and fancy movement.

Willow my one in a million is looking for a new 5 star forever home would suit a hacking dressage or showing home , perfect novice or nervous adult !

Perfect first /secnd pony and would suit child or adult she goes up or down a gear and really looks after her rider , she is a complete schoolmaster and 110% in every single way . Including with the dentist, farrier and clip , she loads , unloads and travels perfectly , hacks alone and in company not fased by traffic or farm machinery .

She is 13.3 /14 hh. not shod she has really good feet She is wide and takes up the leg and will make a perfect mother and daughter share , more of a little horse than a pony , she has a large stride on her , she’s never silly , never bucks or rears or would do anything daft . Would never kick or bite she’s just pleasant and easy and laid back I have owned her for 10 years and she has done local level and county level showing and dressage and has won me countless rosettes Trophies and shashes . She is totally unfazed by atmosphere on or around the show ring .

She had a small surgery on her near side hind a few years ago Completely recovered and better than ever but because of this I no longer jump her .she is very well schooled and used on BHS exams and training at her current yard . She is 19 years young and dosnt look it .she is Very fit and well . She can be ridden every day or once a week theres no difference. She is a yard favourite and best friend to everyone, vand loved by all that meets and rides her

I can not think of anything bad to say about her she is just so easy , not Moody , the sort that is GOLD dust to find . She comes with every day Saddle and bridle , and full wardrobe rugs etc , I feel I would selfish to keep her when she could go out and show someone the ropes as she did for me . I had no confidence at all when I got her and she took me from that to competition.

No time wasters please this has been an extremely difficult decision and she is only for sale due health reasons of my own

Bob is a beautiful 13hh coloured gelding

Bob has show jumped and done cross country and is an absolute pleasure in every way. He loves the beach, can be ridden on the buckle end and he isn’t running off anywhere!

Bob is a sensible ride and is snaffle mouthed at all times, being light in the contact with good brakes! He moves well with three correct paces.

We’ve taken Bob out show jumping and cross country and he doesn’t change away from home. He jumps anything asked of him . Not at all spooky at fillers and enjoys cross country! We are yet to find something to spook him !

He hacks out alone and in company and is not phased in even the heaviest of traffic!! Loads and travels well, he is good to catch.

He will make the ultimate first ridden , pony club pony, all rounder.

Old head on young shoulders mare who loves human interaction and can be handled entirely by children. Non spooky in any scenario and given much joy to children over the summer hacking her safely, alone or in company, in wide open spaces. Never seen her over react or shy - very sensible low maintenance woman.

She has an awful lot of potential in all spheres. My daughter has grown so tall so quickly we need to find her a new situation now as progress will stagnate over winter - albeit she loved mini show jumping this week and is going XC next weekend. Been in show ring twice, second twice, unfazed in busy atmosphere. Lots to improve but exceptionally level headed outlook. Loads of fun to jump in arena at home and looking fwds to hunter trial next week.

Would get quieter and quieter the less you did with her so might make lovely safe boarding school child’s hack with mum pony. She’d just follow and impervious to what traffic does.

Responds to leg aid on first ask but not sensitive and will drop down through gears to standstill if you don’t sustain it. Adorable expression on her face when she’s enjoying herself. Impressive on the flat when in front of the leg and up in the bridle.

Totally unfazed in new environments. First time following hounds- nothing short of perfect and moved off a back mannerly and safely. A novice child can hack her anywhere safely and take her to mini rallies - she’ll go first or last and stand like a rock.

Loads first home and stands on box. Goes straight into water when asked. Jumps fallen logs in wood and been on lots of pony play dates to friends houses and arena hires.

A game child could produce themselves a fun 128. Everyone who meets her falls in love and we are looking for a kind adoring home as she deserves its. She is up to date with vaccs, teeth, feet, back and worming. Good to go. No vices or quirks.

Equally happy to live in mixed her turnout 24/7 or be stabled and pampered. Can include tack and a rug. Open to any vet- no lumps bumps, not a hair out of place, no previous conditions or injuries. Any questions happily answered and tonnes of photos and videos available on WhatsApp

Belle has safely and successfully completed in all Pony Club activities / competitions including lots of SJ / XC / ODE / fun rides / mounted games / arena eventing etc. both on and off lead rein. She is unfazed by most things!

She is happy to go to a fence in either trot or canter, in a lovely rhythm, and has a careful jump with plenty of scope / ability to take a child on to the bigger fences. She is easy to get into canter.

She is a pleasure to hack. She will also ride and lead calmly.

She is currently being trained further for mounted games, and stands beautifully for equipment and to stirrup but will also trot off for the vault. She has been unfazed by anything equipment wise we have tried her with.

Excellent to clip, wash, tie up, catch, farrier etc.

Charlie was backed late and has been in full time work for the last year, There’s not a bad Bone in his body he is a yard favourite everyone loves him, if I could keep him as a pet I would but he’s has more to him then just to keep as a pet.

He is forward but not strong when asked to stop does.

We are out competing most weekends at 60 and 70 he’s still green but will take a child around the cross poles, but to step up he needs someone more confident as that’s where he gets his confidence from.

We have also done showing where he has proven himself in the show ring standing with impeccable manners!

We have recently taken him to a county show where he was beautifully well behaved and had some lovely comments from the judge.

I feel this could be something that he would excel in with the right knowledgeable people.

He hacks alone or in company but again needs a confident rider to hack alone (my nearly 13 year old hacks alone )

Good in open spaces, good to load. Good for the farrier, and can be caught in the field by a child no problem.

Can live in or out. Currently out in a large mixed herd

I will keep him for as long as it takes to find him the perfect home.

INTRODUCING ANNIE – YOUR NEXT FOREVER SCHOOLMASTER

Beautiful, brave, and bursting with Connemara charisma—meet Annie, a gorgeous 8 year old purebred Connemara bay mare, a truly captivating schoolmaster whose presence alone turns heads. Exceptionally elegant and strikingly typey, she embodies everything one hopes for in a show-stopping Connemara mare.

Despite her regal looks, Annie is a heartwarming partner to handle. Riders new to schooling adore her, and her kind, patient nature makes her a dream for development. She’s calm, cooperative, and always keen to please, never ripe for drama or fuss—she simply doesn’t want to put a foot wrong.

Annie has proven herself across multiple disciplines. She’s competed confidently in working hunter classes and unaffiliated showjumping, showing admirable poise and capability. She’s equally at ease out on the open road, happily hacking alone or in company. She’s even enjoyed jaunts to the beach, breezing through waves with a calm confidence that speaks volumes about her character.

Her pedigree is nothing short of impressive. She is by Banagher de Bergeron, a Connemara stallion whose lines include Poetic Justice, a licensed Connemara stallion born in 1988 by Ballydonagh Cassanova out of Gloves Misty. Poetic Justice competed in showjumping up to 140cm against horses and became a popular sire of performance ponies—with several of his progeny representing at European Championships.

On her dam side, Annie descends from Calla Boy, another influential Connemara stallion (born circa 1976, grey), sired by Dun Aengus and out of Sliabh na mBan II. Stallions like Calla Boy’s descendants, such as Mulroy Bay, trace lineage back to this line—valuable for preserving genetic diversity.

Collectively, Annie carries bloodlines steeped in athleticism, classic type, and trustworthy temperaments—a legacy of Connemara excellence.

Annie comes fully vetted, with a recently passed five-stage vetting and is open to any re-vetting for your peace of mind. She’s sound, healthy, honest, and ready to step into a new chapter with a rider or family that values quality, consistency, and affection.

Adding that final touch of reassurance, the price includes delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK—and if for any reason you’re not completely happy once you meet her, I offer an exchange to ensure you’re entirely satisfied.

Scroll down to watch her video, and see for yourself how gracefully she moves, how softly she packs, and how effortlessly she adapts. Annie isn’t just a pony; she’s a companion for growth, learning, and lifelong partnership.

To talk more, call anytime on +353 86 807 7626, or email me at gertytynan@gmail.com. Annie is ready for her next chapter—perhaps with you?

Super smart 11.2hh roan and white gelding 4 years old. Munchkin is a lovely stamp of a pony with good straight movement and confirmation. He was professionally broken to ride slowly and correctly at the beginning of summer and is currently ridden by a 9 year old.

He schools sweetly, hacks alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic and has popped a couple of fences. He shows talent over a fence loose. He is good to do in all ways and is handled by children.

Off the lead rein due to his age Munchie is more suited as a second pony rather than a first ridden. He is proving to be safe and reliable but he is a forward thinking pony who enjoys his work. Equally however, he rides nicely on the lead rein with a tiny tot and would make a nice lr show hunter pony.

Munchie has all the attributes to make a super pony club pony and I would love to see him in an active home with a good little jockey who can continue his education and bring out the best in him.

Unfortunately we do not have a jockey to fulfill his potential and therefore is only available to a 5* home.

Buster is a 128cm Irish Riding Pony, 14yo. He is a beautiful, quality pony who excels as a pony club allrounder and is ready to fill another child with confidence.

This summer he attended Bicton Mini PC Champs for the first time where he stayed over and behaved impeccably in a very busy environment. He jumped round the 40 and 50cm classes and did a lovely dressage test giving our 8yo daughter a great first experience of the mini champs.

He has attended PC Camps and numerous rallies - SJ, XC, MG, DR - and he has competed successfully, many times at all our local venues including Badgworth, KSEC, Mendip Plains, and at regional mini ODEs.

He has been to the busy Boxing Day meet and the beach and behaved faultlessly. Always reliable and never strong or silly. He has lovely paces, and is well schooled - he competed in dressage too in his previous home.

Great to hack alone or in company, on the road or in open spaces. Lives in or out and is good to load, clip, shoe. No laminitis and never sick or sorry.

I have owned coco for 3 years, she has been an absolute delight never sick or sorry. I have hunted her with the Holcombe Harriers for the last 3 years.

She now looking for a quieter home than mine but still has plenty of years in her.

Absolutley bombproof I cannot stress how quiet she is - my 9 year old daughter hacks her round the fields and jumps her in the school.

Absolutley no tricks in her she is very streight forward.

Her only quirk is she will not travel in the trailer with a partition in. I have always travelled her without the partition. She travels fine in the wagon.

14'2 mare 20 years.

Home is very important - a forever home is important to me and price not so important I just want her to be loved as much as she deseves and to give somebody else there confidence back like she has me. She has to be sold to make way for childrens ponies unfortunatley I cannot keep them all.

Good to shoe, box, clip. Loves a pamper.

Jack is a sweet, genuine horse who is a pleasure to have on the yard.

Jack has done everything since being with us and has not put a foot wrong. We can put him on the lorry and take him anywhere and know he will be an absolute star. We have taken him jumping countless time. Each time we take him he just gets better and better. He will stand on the lorry on his own while we jump other horses and will not cause a fuss.

He has also taken him to dressage tests and each time has come home with a rosette.

He has been xc schooled a few times over the summer and was a diamond. You can take him away from the other horses and he does not mind at all. Will jump anything you ask and is not phased by the water.

We haven’t had chance to take Jack hunting yet but we don’t think he would be any trouble and would make a very fun and smart hunting pony.

Jack is as good as gold to hack and will hack alone and in company.

Jack would thrive in a family home. He is such a kind natured pony who loves attention. Very easy to do anything with. Always good with the farrier, to load clip ect.

Had to readvertise due to time wasters. Quick sale due to lack of time.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.
