Good to box, shoe and clip.

I can't sing her praises enough, a pony you're truly lucky to own and we will be gutted to see her go.

13.1hh 16 year old registered Dartmoor pony mare(Her dam was dunnabridge catkin and sire dunmere billy green) for sale

Fancy has been with us for coming up 3 years we know her full history we are only her 3rd owner and still in contact her breeder.

Fancy was brought for my daughter after she completely lost her confidence and needed that extra boost which is exactly what fancy did.

Fancy is a complete school mistress in the school and has previously been a favourite at a riding school.

Fancy is well balanced and will go at her own pace in the school she is not sharp or silly but does not like to be nagged or kicked about she will not do anything nasty will just not listen until asked properly. She can do a cheeky buck if smacked on the bum with the whip.

She would equally suit a small adult wanting a low level all rounder.

Fancy is snaffle mouthed good to catch good with the farrier bath clip handle

She has done PC dressage XC beach rides and unaffiliated SJ up to 70cm , although showjumping isn’t her favourite thing. Fancy would more suit a WH/showing home/hunting

Fancy is good to hack but will step up a gear if you want to go for a good gallop. Prefers to lead the way if with a group.

Bad bits :- fancy does suffer with sweet itch which is easily controlled.

Fancy usually loads first time but on occasions has stood on the ramp for 5 minutes before deciding to load.

Has been extremely hard decision to part with fancy but she has been outgrown by my daughter and due to lack of time as bringing on her young pony it’s only fair Fancy finds a new person, she loves her job and likes to be in a routine.

Serious enquiries only this is hard enough. Plenty of people will vouch for this pony she really is one in a million.

Fancy is up to date with everything

She comes with fully fitted English leather GFS WH saddle and bridle that cost over 1000 itself

A million videos and pics upon request

  • Up to date with farrier, vaccinations, worming, physio, etc. Class one breeding. N/HWSD.

Rathlacken Gentle Rose (Rosie) is a stunning, sweet mare with a temperament to die for. She was a delight to break in as 4yr old and she was given the winter off to mature. This year, she has returned to work and is now really starting to show her true potential. She is pleasure to do in all ways and isn’t fazed by anything. She loves people and is always the first to come to the field gate for a chat and a scratch!

Rosie has three correct paces, with super movement and she’s a real head turner. She has competed in three dressage competitions, winning them all with over 65%.

Rosie has a super jump and is not fazed by fillers, water trays, etc. She is forward into a fence, but not strong or silly. She has completed one show jumping competition (75cm), coming 2nd, and is easily jumping over 90cm at home, with a lot of scope to burn! She has been XC schooling twice, proving to be brave and honest. She has done ditches, steps, water, skinnies etc, without any issues.

Rosie happily hacks alone or in company and is very safe and sensible. She has been broken in and ridden by a lightweight adult but has also been ridden by children of different abilities. She is perfect to bath, shoe, clip, load, vacs, etc. She is up to date with everything and has no health issues or veterinary history. Rosie is happy to be alone in the field/stable. She is always snaffled mouthed. She really is the sweetest little mare, a pleasure to have on the yard, and she loves to be pampered.

Rosie has class one breeding throughout. She is a quality pony and is one of the last of the ‘Gentle’ Connemara pony line, known for producing ponies that are not only athletic and capable of various disciplines, but also possess a naturally calm and manageable disposition. Her sire is Rathlacken Cascade, who won several champion titles. Rathlacken Cascade is by the gorgeous Laerkens Cascade Dawn, who is a stallion who needs no more introduction. He is supreme champion, Clifden winner, RDS winner and sire of many successful competition ponies.

Rosie is now looking for her new best friend, to have lots of fun with. She would make an ideal PC/RC pony, competition pony, or a great mother/daughter share – she is a true allrounder.

This is a very sad sale, as she will be greatly missed. An excellent home is required for this special pony. Open to viewings and vet checks.

Very sweet loving mare, snaffle mouth well schooled responsive ride who loves her job. Jumped to 90cm show Jumping and always been good to load and leave on box.

We have done a couple of pc rallies with her but she did more in previous home as well as some dressage.

She is good to catch, with farrier and other horses, good in traffic and open spaces although she wouldn’t be for a nervous novice as is responsive and likes soft hands. She has no vices.

Sadly outgrown much quicker than anticipated hence looking for new home.

Pebbles, The Perfect Partner for Riders of All Levels

In the world of horses, it is rare to find one as reliable, versatile, and genuinely kind-hearted as Pebbles. A 13.1hh, 12-year-old bay cob mare, Pebbles embodies the qualities every rider dreams of in a pony: steady, safe, and endlessly patient. Her calm and generous nature makes her the ideal companion for beginners, nervous riders, and experienced equestrians alike.

Pebbles carries the leg really well along with small children she carries adults up to around 10 stone, one of the riders in the video is 5,4 and the other rider in the advert is 5,8.

Pebbles has spent the past three years working in a reputable riding school, where she has played a vital role in teaching both children and small adults. Her adaptability is remarkable mare she gently carries complete novices in their first lessons, encourages riders learning to canter and jump, and supports more advanced students through dressage movements, showjumping courses, cross-country schooling, and even gymkhana games. She is a true schoolmistress who brings out the best in everyone she meets.

What sets Pebbles apart is not only her experience but her natural ability to connect with her rider. She knows her job and performs it with quiet confidence. Her paces are balanced and steady, yet she is responsive and willing to work into a soft outline for more experienced riders. She approaches every task with enthusiasm and never displays a trace of sharpness or stubbornness. Whether schooling in the arena or out on a fun ride, she is sensible, enthusiastic, and utterly dependable.

She has done all flat work lessons, privates and groups, basic dressage moves and tests, low level jumping courses and competitions, cross country, gymkhana games she is very genuine and loves to hack out, she never pulls, rush, spook or get nervous of anything.

Pebbles has done pony club, riding club, low level competitions, beach / fun rides prior to her riding school career, so she will return to that lifestyle with ease.

Absolutely no vices, when ridden, in the stable or in the field and has brilliant manners enabling anyone to handle her safely and with ease, will stand for hours with no head collar or lead rope being groomed.

She has exceptional manners and ticks so many boxes for someone looking for a very safe easy Schoolmistress, with no ifs or buts.

Pebbles hacks out in the heaviest of traffic without batting an eye lid, she will wait at traffic lights / roundabouts for as long as required without moving, she doesn’t flinch when articulated lorries, double-decker buses, motorbikes, tractors and trailers fly pass her at some speed.
She is absolutely not fazed by large plant farm machinery.

She has impeccable manners when ridden across open fields, cantered / galloped on grass verges at the side of busy roads, within a group she is happy to be lead file, in the middle or at the back, she doesn’t pull, rush, spin or try and overtake.

sturdy sure footed schoolmistress.

She is excellent catch, load, travel, bath, clip, groom, farrier, dentist, vet.

Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

Has excellent manners with the farrier and currently barefoot but is equally happy to be shoed.

She would give confidence to any rider/ handler when showjumping, dressage, cross country, working hunter, in hand, fun rides and beach rides she has been there and done it all.

She doesn’t need to be ridden every day she can go without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, she is extremely low maintenance.
She has never been lame had laminitis, sweet itch or sarcoids. No lumps or bumps. No Marish traits.

Passes are annual Licence Inspection which is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.

On the ground, Pebbles continues to impress. She has excellent stable manners and is handled daily by children. She will stand quietly for grooming, bathing, and tacking, even without a head collar. She loads, travels, and clips without fuss and is equally happy stabled or turned out, either in a herd or alone. She is currently barefoot, sound, and has no vices or health issues. Her long-standing participation in riding school life is a testament to her physical soundness and mental stability.

What makes Pebbles particularly special is her ability to give confidence to her rider, no matter their age or ability. She is the sort of pony that helps people fall in love with riding and continue to grow within it. Whether you are beginning your equestrian journey or looking to regain confidence, Pebbles offers a safe and supportive path forward.

Although this is a very difficult sale, we like to give our horses the opportunity to experience life in a one-to-one private setting after time in the riding school. She now seeks a five-star home where she will be cherished and appreciated for the incredible partner she is.

W.P.B.R. Littlecourt Goldeneye - Chip

A stunning flashy little pony. He has so much to give, he loves being made a fuss out of. My daughter will get him in from the field and pamper him. Everywhere we go, people ask about him, he is an eye catcher. He's got a unique coloured coat, that gets lighter and darker throughout the year.

His got 3 flashy uphill paces. He moves like he is floating, he would make a lovely show pony or do a great dressage test.

Chip is 7 years old and due to this he is more suited as a second pony. If you confident and looking for a fun pony to go have some fun on, his your man. No novice, nervous beginners please. His a fine build agile pony and likes to be very careful. He tries his best not to knock poles.

Absolute NSEA superstar. What is there not to say about this boy. 12.1 ish 122 7 year old GELDING, would be top class cradle stakes pony / M&M 122 and under worker pony. Fully registered green Welsh passport. Peanut is one in a million. My daughter only turned 10 a few weeks ago but as you can see from the videos she is super tall and she is already on 14.2's, we had to skip 13.2's due to her height. We have kept Peanut as long as possible but the time has come for him to find his new home due to being completely outgrown, not on ability, just from how tall my daughter is. He will be a mega British showjumping pony as he has so much jump and I believe will go very far in this area, he is as brave a lion but very careful and I have not known him to stop at a fence. He jumps doubles, water trays etc and all spooky fillers including all the spooky jump for joy fillers and is really good. He is a pleasure to take to shows alone or in company and stands at the trailer happily munching while the other pony goes off. He won at Hartpury last night in their indoor International arena and has also qualified for the South West showjumping championships 2026. He is regularly on the school run in the trailer and stands politely and then we head off to lessons or arena hires. He has been to pony club, NSEA, British showjumping, unaffiliated shows and is always very well behaved.

Peanut has double clears stepping stones British showjumping on a ticket as not registered yet so someone can start with no money on his card, he won the SJ last night in Hartpury International Indoor Arena and was not phased with the huge atmosphere. He has attended pony club rallies both dressage and jumping, went clear XC in my daughters pony club Tetrathlon competition, jumped NSEA and qualified for Hickstead, the list goes on. He is safe in open spaces and fields and there are lots of videos uploaded on here showing how he is in all environments. He hacks alone or in company but we only have single track roads so he has never seen fast moving traffic , only traffic that slows down and we pass as its too narrow for them to speed pass.

Showing is not our thing but the judges love him and he stands beautifully too, we have done very little and he qualified for The London International first time. He competed at Three counties in the 122 Working hunter and just had the last fence down due to slipping on take off on the grass but was the highest placed 4 faulter. It was a full on county show with bikes flipping next to the arena and he carried on as normal. We did lead rein with a friends little girl (my daughter is young enough for lead rein but as you can see just way too tall) and he leads beautifully, I mean like putty and was 2nd but again this isn't our thing and we don't have the time for the showing. He looks good native or plaited. My daughter schooled him around the HOYS working hunter 122 as we couldn't wait for the class and he jumped straight round clear.

He has a huge future in whatever direction he is taken and he is so good to handle, brush, lead etc. stands for the kids to fuss, wouldn't hurt or kick them. He is bare foot but regularly trimmed. Never been sick or sorry. Loves a routine and goes out with mares and geldings.

He is a competition pony and not a pony for a rider to come out of a riding school learning their up downs etc. He has not bucked, bolted, napped etc. We would like a little rider who can canter and be balanced, having said that, when my daughter gets a wobble on him, he just sticks his head up for her. He has gears but always comes back to trot as soon as he is asked and has a lovely soft mouth and always ridden in a snaffle. He would come down the levels and happily trot around courses too.
Please watch all of the videos that are with this advert to make sure he looks the right fit for you before calling. I have millions of videos that I can send via whatsapp too.

Where do I start… Tommy is an absolute legend of a pony and has given us so much fun since owning him.

He is very straightforward to do anything with and is always handled by children!

He is never sick or sorry, fits into whichever routine you have. Never needs hours of warming up at shows and I can put my daughter straight on even at the busiest of environments.

Whilst being with us Tommy has mainly been shown, qualifying and competing at LIHS 24 with my daughter, he has also been show jumping up to 60cm, X country, regularly ridden bare back up the gallops/jumped in the school, and they even tried barrel racing. He’s very safe in open spaces. He’s been an elf and escorted Father Christmas at Lingfield Park Racecourse. Modelled for Kids2Ponies with plenty of footage on their TikTok/Insta.

My daughter has done everything with Tommy (Els has even thought him to fist bump) and she absolutely adores him. He would be a FYFR type or Lead Rein to then go onto FYFR, perfect for the LHIS working sports pony classes. Although we haven’t done any pony club with him due to other commitments, he would make a fabulous PC pony or I’m sure he would even love some autumn hunting.

He’s the perfect all rounder, that you can easily love.
Sadly my son has no interest in riding and my daughter has her next pony to bring on alongside a busy football schedule.

  • Beautiful 12.2 Dartmoor mare 15yrs.
  • Kingshaugh Eclipse, ‘Elsie’.
  • This pony has been our Mary Poppins pony!

We bought Elsie when my daughter was 9 in March 2024, she’d been bucked off a previous pony a few times and was reluctant to canter and would only jump in trot. Elsie restored her confidence and love of riding and soon she was happily cantering- and jumping courses- all in canter too. They have done lots and lots of RC and unaffiliated shows, mainly SJ and WH- tots classes, initially x poles and 30cm- then 40 and 50cm. They usually win or are highly placed- they have a huge overflowing box of rosettes and sashes.

Elsie has also done 3 stay away camps and PC camp where Isabella looked after Elsie by herself. She excels at polework clinics and can turn her hoof to any layout! She has done lots of WH, qualified for Stars 2024, jumped clear around a very spooky course but a rider error meant no placing sadly after a beautiful show!
Isabella can safely ride with no stirrups on Elsie and we have also done exercises with both no stirrups and no reins. She is also fine with all PC games equipment although this is not our thing. Elsie is a steady pony who ticks along on a consistent rhythm, she has an easy canter to sit to and this has been wonderful for Isabella to jump her first courses on.

We are looking for another little person just like my daughter, for Elsie. Someone who can already w,t, canter and pop a fence who would like to start going to shows & having fun on a lovely, sensible pony. Elsie has been a joy to us in every way and we are looking for a special home for her. My daughter already has her next pony and we are in no rush to sell Elsie. She can pull riding school faces in the stable, but we ignore these, pat her and she pricks her ears- Isabella does everything with her and Elsie loves a fuss, grooming & a pamper. My daughter has done PC rallies and passed her D+ test with Elsie. Isabella has had a tonne of lessons & camps on this pony and I can offer a list of instructors who I’m sure would give a glowing reference.

Elsie’s Result Highlights with Isabella:-

  •  Overall Champion Intro WH WRC
  •  Overall Reserve Champion Tots WH WRC
  •  Overall Reserve Champion Tots SJ WRC
  •  Overall Reserve Champion Tots WH BTRC
  •  Qualified POYS, NCPA

  •  3rd Cheshire County Show
  •  5th Great Ecclestone in London International Qualifier
  •  Lots & lots of 1sts and placings week in & week out for SJ & WH in 30/40/50cm.
  •  Most recent outing 13th Sept 1st (40) and 4th SJ (50)

Elsie and Isabella’s journey together is detailed on Instagram with lots of photos and videos.

We are in touch with Elsie’s 3 previous owners who all adore her and praise her highly.

Includes bridle, bit, martingale and rugs.

(No lease or loan inquiries please)

Elsie will be available to view on or after PC SJ on 5th October

Top class upto hight big 133

Flynn is beautifully school and perfect for the most nervous/tiniest jockey but will also compete at the highest levels in the biggest busiest of showground without a single worry!

Flynn is one of the most genuine ponies - always highly placed in both the SHP and Part Bred Classes - at he is done by my daughter, he’s the pony we use for non horsey school friends to ride!

He carries a side saddle and looks beautiful and all ways gives a very mannerly ride. We have borrowed a friends first ridden jockey on him in the warm up area, championships etc when classes have clashed without a worry!

Flynn hacks anywhere, goes to the beach, along the mountains, he’s good in Traffic, out hound exercising, hunting, he attends riding club weekly etc

Flynn started jumping when he came to us- having never jumped a course before he found he loved it! He’s competed at BS on a ticket over the winter and will continue to do so, we’ve done workers and arena eventing on him!

Next year I believe he would jump the HOYS 133 tracks easily but we had another pony in the class this year and our daughter will be out of the class next year this is the only reason he is for sale.

He just missed his London ticket Placing 2nd in his only two classes.

He’s has so many fabulous results it’s hard to remember them all - this year alone he has had his WPCS bronze medal, qualified and was placed in the gelding championship, WPCS reserve supreme at the performance show, he’s won arena eventing, showjumping, dressage and side and side saddle classes.

Please no time wasters this is a hard enough sale- we’re gutted that our daughter is out of his class but he’s far good to just sit at home!

Old head on rising 7 yo shoulders mare who loves human interaction and can be handled entirely by children. Non spooky in any scenario and given much joy to children over the summer hacking her safely, alone or in company, in wide open spaces. Never seen her over react or shy - sensible low maintenance woman.

She has an awful lot of potential in all spheres. My daughter has grown so tall so quickly we need to find her a new situation now as progress will stagnate over winter - albeit she loves show jumping and jumped every fence upon first presentation XC yesterday.

Been in show ring twice, second twice, unfazed in busy atmosphere. Lots to develop but exceptionally level headed outlook. Quiet if unridden so would suit boarding school child’s hack with mum pony. She would just follow and impervious to what traffic does.

Responds to leg aid on first ask but not sensitive and will drop down through gears reliably if asked. Impressive on the flat when in front of the leg and up in the bridle. Totally unfazed in new environments. First time following hounds- nothing short of perfect and moved off a back mannerly and safely. A novice child can hack her anywhere safely and take her to mini rallies - she’ll go first or last and stand like a rock. She has quite a long stride and forward canter, which is the only thing that stops me advertising her as a true FR, other than we think she’ll be a winning competition pony. She out jumped experienced ponies at HT yesterday.

Loads first time and stands on box quietly regardless of alone. Goes straight into water when asked. Jumps fallen logs and ditches in wood and been on lots of pony play dates to friends houses and arena hires.

A game child could produce themselves a fun 128. Everyone who meets her falls in love and we are looking for a kind adoring home as she deserves its. She is up to date with vaccs, teeth, feet, back and worming.

Equally happy to live in mixed her turnout 24/7 or be stabled and pampered. Open to any vet. Any questions answered and tonnes of photos and videos available on WhatsApp. A truly lovely pony and pet. Essex, near Stansted Airport.

A bombproof best friend - LR / First Pony

Over the past 3 years Dinky has made learning to ride fun and given my (now just 9yo) daughter so much confidence. He's super safe and forgiving in all ways. Children can run around him, pick his feet and he makes even nervous first time riders feel special. He doesn't bat an eyelid whether dogs are running around his feet, around farm machinery, bikes, runners, and heavy road traffic.

He's taken my daughter from a lead rein novice to confidently hacking out for miles through lanes, trails, fields, across open country or round the roads of a nearby town. She often rides him bareback down the lane, rides sidesaddle and backwards. She rides him in the school over poles, pops little jumps and plays around, picking up and weaving through cones.

For us it's been about having fun and building confidence for a once very anxious little girl. We shared him for 18 months then bought him ourselves in May 24 rather than lose him when he was put up for sale but my daughter is growing!

She hasn't done PC yet but the previous owner often won ribbons on him at PC and I have no doubt he would do the same for his next little jockey.

He's a dream to keep. My daughter disappears over the field to catch and bring him in herself. He lives out barefoot 24/7, is great with farrier and dentist.

Whilst we have decided its time to think about selling him, we aren't in a rush. We will happily keep him until Spring to match him with the right family.
It may be possible to keep him on the same friendly yard if you're local and looking for your first pony, subject to discussions with the yard owner.

Gorgeous Dartmoor pony

6 year old 12hh approx, grey Dartmoor pony gelding. A stocky, chunky chap. Supplementary registered.

Prior to coming here in Jan of this year, he has been allowed to slowly mature and grow, on a conservation grazing site on Dartmoor.

He now ties up, is wearing a bridle and roller and a ‘klibber’ pack saddle, and is regularly walked out on the lanes here, proving sensible with all traffic he has encountered, including tractors.

Good with the farrier, just seen the dentist.

A really lovely pony, who has the potential for a riding or driving prospect with an experienced, calm and confident person.

Would do well with more horses/ponies around than what he has here.

He has too much potential to stay here, and has way surpassed my expectations. Hence sale.

Good to catch. Turns out separately or in company. Currently stabled at night, but also happy to stay out.

No novices and only for sale to a wonderful home.

  • Always in the ribbons
  • Scopy jump and fast against the clock
  • Jumping 90cm SJ tracks and XC courses

Sadly for sale due to rider moving onto 14.2hh

Honey is a 13.2hh much loved sports cob. We have had her for 3 years and during that time she has done the following:

Hunter trials
Hunted
Pony Club Camp
Showjumping
Eventing
Clinics
Arena hires
Hacking (in company and alone)
Pony Club Games
Handy Pony

She was bought for my daughter to do all PC activities on and she’s done that so well. They have competed locally and usually come home with a rosette. Honey has a hugely scopey jump and she can comfortably compete round 90cm SJ courses. XC she jumps 90 in training and at clinics but we usually compete her in 80’s. She has no issues with fillers, water, brushing fences, ditches etc and is bold as brass on the hunting field. Shes fast against the clock and a careful jumper, rarely will she touch a pole. She will excel in BS. She enjoys all Pony Club activities and isn’t phased by large groups of people and ponies. She doesn’t spook at Handy Pony tasks.

Shes barefoot at the moment but has been shod when we was in heavy competition work. Ridden in a snaffle in all disciplines. Loads herself into boxes, travels in a lorry, 3.5tonne van and trailer no problem at all. Easiest pony at a day show or a stay away as she’ll stand and eat her haynet quite happily. Easy to clip, stands happily for as long as it takes. Good for farrier too. Lunges well, and is lunged by a teen and an 11 year old. She’s managed by children daily. Easy to catch. Stands to be washed. Currently lives out 24/7 but has been in over night and copes fine either way.

Hacks out alone or in company. Goes first or last on hacks, my children have hacked her along roads and she’s not bothered by any traffic. We live on a farm so she’s exposed to tractors, diggers, quads, drones etc and we are on a flight path for the RAF so she’s not phased by helicopters or low flying planes.

She is only for sale as my youngest daughter isn’t keen to compete and her rider is moving into a 14.2hh pony now due to her age.

Comes with a full wardrobe including: English leather saddle (fitted to her), English leather bridle, turnout and stable rugs and fly rugs.
