He has a very calm temperament and would give confidence to his rider or be a great mother and daughter share.

Jimmy really is an easy ride and a pleasure to have around and have fun on.

Despite the fact that Jimmy had Sarcoids at age 5 they have not returned since treatment although he can be quite sensitive around his sheath and stomach however there is no malicious intention, Jimmy has fully recovered from these after he had laser removal.

Jimmy is perfect to load on trailers or lorrie’s, he practically loads himself, he is perfect to shoe & clip also. He really is your typical Connemara and is full of character!! Jimmy will come with a full wardrobe (including saddle,bridle,head collar etc).

14.2hh Connemara Gelding 8 years old. Excellent bloodlines with one 1/2 brother a FEI event pony and the other a prolific show stallion.

Tommy has been with me on loan for the past year to show him more of the world especially in eventing. He has been slowly and correctly produced as well as being low mileage for his age due to not having a consistent rider for a couple of years.

Previously he has qualified for NSEA champs at Hickstead and Riding club 70 arena eventing with 11 year old. He is a forward thinking pony and needs a confident, quiet rider. Owners have had him since a yearling with the aim of being daughters next pony but he is an out and out competition pony which is just too much for her currently so needs to find himself a best friend to go and have fun with.

Since being with me on loan he has evented to 90cm and proving to be a XC machine - 100% clear rate on the XC course this year and qualified for horse-events championships at both 80 & 90. Dressage is not his favourite but generally produces a mid - high 30 dressage score.
This year he has qualified for the pony club and riding club championships in eventing. He just missed out on qualifying for the pony club 90 showjumping individually with a fab double clear!
XC schooled over 100cm fences, various water jumps, ditches, steps and much more.
He will jump off any stride and is keen to a fence.
Has done a couple of 100 showjumping rounds with scope and bravery to go to much higher heights. Plenty of placings round 90cm showjumping and arena eventing. Would be a great affiliated pony as very quick across the ground.

Still out competing and will be moving up the heights until he finds his new home

He is easy to handle on the ground and is happy to be left on his own. Currently barefoot but very well behaved for the farrier. Good to clip and loads on either lorry or trailer. Can be turned out with mares and geldings or equally happy on his own. Excellent to hack in all traffic, does ride and lead either as ridden or led horse. Been on fun rides and beach trips.

Does have sweet-itch which is reflected in price. Easy to manage

Lizzies Personality - Lizzie is a beautiful ‘person’ inside and out. She is calm, kind and has a lovely disposition. Lizzie will look after her rider. Lizzie is a very affectionate mare. She is perfect to clip, shoe, load, travel, dentist and physio.

Lizzie is not spooky and hacks out alone and in company in the busiest of traffic.

Lizzie maintains her concentration and doesn’t bat an eyelid at JCBs, large lorries and tractors a few feet away from her, dogs running around, kids shouting and galloping around and rides consistently in strong winds or heavy rain. She literally doesn’t care! Her disposition means that she copes well at the busiest of competitions.

Lizzie under saddle - Lizzie has competed in all disciplines. Though fun and nicely forward going, Lizzie is not spooky. Lizzie is snaffled mouthed and we feel best suited as a third pony to make use of her ability, willingness and current age.

Showjumping – Lizzie does her very best to please and look after her rider. Lizzie is jumping around a course of 95cm jumps at the minute at home. (Scope to go higher) Lizzie doesn’t stop, has a great natural jumping canter and has the willingness and athleticism to jump off any stride (even if it’s wrong) has been winning all the classes in the 80 cm and 90cm locally.

Cross Country – Lizzie has successfully competed at Hunter Trials and One Day Events. She has partaken in numerous cross country training clinics, and with her old owners she did Farm Rides and hound exercises with the Readyfield Bloodhounds. Loves water and happily jumps 80cm at local hunter trials. In the ribbons for SDPC intermediate hunter trials every time! Cross country machine!

Flat work – Lizzie works very hard in her flat work and always tries to please. She has competed dressage at arena uk area qualifiers placing really well in a big class. Has flatwork schooling with her trainer 3 times a week.

Absolutely beautiful 4 yo irish mare

14.2 but leg in each corner substantial type yet still plenty of quality. She has no breeding recored but is believed to be a connie X ID ( with Diamond lad lines on the draught side ). She is clean limbed,well put togeather and sarcoid free.

Molly was very lightly backed as a 3 yo then turned away , she has been back in work since may and is proving to be an absolute superstar. She is kind and genuine but has plenty of talent! Shes forward and responsive so not for someone looking for a kick along.She is for someone wanting to be competitive and have fun.She is riding nice on the flat ,is incredibly naturally balanced and has a canter like an armchair.

She has been out to several different competitions, picking up a 3rd place at a compact event and a 5th at some local unaffiliated showjumping.. poping round 80 in the ring with ease ..but has plenty more jump. Ready to jump a JRN British novice now. She is very genuine with her fences both XC and showjumping.. not phased by fillers .. been through water complex's etc. Well behaved in the collecting ring.

She is a really versatile mare that could do any job .. from showjumping, eventing to a top pony club pont that could do all the teams or would be quality enough to show . My little boy who is 4 grooms her and has been lead around on the lead rein . A 5 star home is a must for this wonderful mare! She has plenty of substance to carry an adult yet plenty about her to make a competitive 148.. Rathlacken Gentle Rose (Rosie) is a stunning, sweet mare with a temperament to die for. She was a delight to break in as 4yr old and she was given the winter off to mature. This year, she has returned to work and is now really starting to show her true potential. She is pleasure to do in all ways and isn’t fazed by anything. She loves people and is always the first to come to the field gate for a chat and a scratch!

Rosie has three correct paces, with super movement and she’s a real head turner. She has competed in three dressage competitions, winning them all with over 65%.

Rosie has a super jump and is not fazed by fillers, water trays, etc. She is forward into a fence, but not strong or silly. She has completed one show jumping competition (75cm), coming 2nd, and is easily jumping over 90cm at home, with a lot of scope to burn! She has been XC schooling twice, proving to be brave and honest. She has done ditches, steps, water, skinnies etc, without any issues.

Rosie happily hacks alone or in company and is very safe and sensible. She has been broken in and ridden by a lightweight adult but has also been ridden by children of different abilities. She is perfect to bath, shoe, clip, load, vacs, etc. She is up to date with everything and has no health issues or veterinary history. Rosie is happy to be alone in the field/stable. She is always snaffled mouthed. She really is the sweetest little mare, a pleasure to have on the yard, and she loves to be pampered.

Rosie has class one breeding throughout. She is a quality pony and is one of the last of the ‘Gentle’ Connemara pony line, known for producing ponies that are not only athletic and capable of various disciplines, but also possess a naturally calm and manageable disposition. He is a 15h 5 year old (going on 10!) black Irish cob gelding. He is a real stunning quality stamp who catches the eye where ever he goes. He is gorgeous inside and outside to match and will make someone a horse of a life time for sure. He has good conformation, clean limbs and straight movement. He is such a desirable type as he is a great size for everyone to ride from children to teenagers and adults alike; he would be perfect for a mother/daughter share or family horse for everyone to enjoy. Blackie is super to hack, he has done more hacking in company due to his owner’s preference but he does also go alone. He has done lots of hacking in groups and trekking through the country side on an easy rein. He is very sensible in open spaces and will happily canter at the back of the group without getting strong or competitive. You can drop you reins on him in canter and he won’t run away, in fact quite the opposite. He is great with traffic and hacks straight out onto a busy through road where traffic goes flying past him. He is super with arctic Lorries and tractors passing him too. He is a lovely medium to ride when out hacking which makes him a real pleasure to ride. He has been on lots of pleasure rides which he really does excel at, he gives other horses confidence as he is such a calm influence. He is so much fun on pleasure rides and always makes you smile and have a good ride. He has been on beach rides where he is always fantastically behaved and loves the water. He would be the ideal type to take on horse holidays and enjoy hours of exploring together as he is super comfy too and relaxed in new places. He has also hunted in Ireland with a 13 year old girl where he proved safe and steady so would also suit a hunting home. He would also excel in a trekking centre.

Blackie has good basic schooling established with lovely natural paces. His paces are very smooth and comfortable. He is a steady ride in the school and does need some leg from his rider to keep him going. This makes his rider feel very safe and confident. He has been ridden by novices as well as more competent riders and adapts well. He has also been ridden by children and really looked after them. He is snaffle mouthed for everything with a lovely light mouth. He is very forgiving and doesn't mind if his rider loses balance or misses a beat, he will just slow down and let you catch your balance. He is a basic walk, trot and canter in the school, can sometimes get the wrong canter lead on one rein as he is more used to cantering in straight lines on a hack. He has also just learnt walk to canter which he does very well so he is very willing and trainable. He is alos starting to work in a nice outline. He could easily school up and do some dressage as his paces are good and he has a lovely rhythm. He would suit a wide range of riders from competent novices through to more experienced riders that just want a straight forward easy going ride that they can pick up and put down as he doesn’t require daily riding to keep sane.

Blackie enjoys his jumping. He is very honest and genuine to jump, he looks after his rider and will happily just trot in or equally come in canter. He doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is a very much point and aim type who helps his rider out. He isn’t a world beater but enjoys to have a go and has jumped around 80cm. He jumps fillers and water trays. He has been to some local training shows and unaffiliated comps in Ireland as well as pony club. He has also been xc schooling several times where he was such a good boy.. Hes very confident and jumps everything first attempt including ditches and water. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider into the fences nice and confidently but remains steady and very safe and sensible. He would excel at hunter trails as well as being suitable for all low level pony club and riding club activities.

Blackie has a superb quiet temperament. He really is such a nice sweet person who wants to be everyone’s friend and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He is easy to handle and is very polite with manners to burn. He loves to be groomed and pampered. He is such a kind loving boy who is very gentle and calm. He is very good to catch, bath, shoe, load, catch ect. He will live alone or in company and in or out, he just goes with the flow and is bottom of the pecking order. He would make a wonderful addition to a family.

He would make the perfect leisure/pleasure horse for hours of hacking and fun rides with some bits of riding club thrown in for fun. It is really important to his owner that Blackie finds a 10* home where he will be loved and enjoyed.

Chance happily goes through water, jumps ditches and steps, will stand whilst you open a gate (even helps you push it open if he can!)
He absolutely loves hacking and is a joy to hack. He hacks alone or in company and will go first or last. He is good in traffic, used to farm machinery etc and is unfazed by most things – I even had to hack him past a fire once!

Although Chance is a fun, uncomplicated ride he is a forward thinking pony and does need a confident rider. He is not suitable for a nervous novice.
He is totally calm hacking alone or with one or two others but he can get excitable and strong if cantering with lots of others e.g. at a sponsored ride.

We have had Chance for two years and he has been an absolute pleasure to own. He is very friendly, full of character and easy to do everything with i.e. shoe, clip, load, catch etc
He thrives on attention and will be your best friend, he follows me round like a Labrador!
However, as is typical for his breed, he can be a bit cheeky so needs confident and competent handling. Chance will not go to a novice home.

Jet (Jetset Jolly) 13.3hh 11 year old registered New Forest pony.

Not only is Jet extremely handsome, he is great fun to ride and a complete character. He is a typical cheeky New Forest pony who will wiggle his way into your heart like he has mine.

Jet really is an allrounder and anybody’s ride. He has been ridden successfully by competent children as well as lightweight adults and teenagers. He would not be suitable as a lead rein pony.

Jet happily goes first or last, loves to jump and absolutely adores hacking. He is
Super brave. He has three lovely balanced paces in the sandschool, over show jumps and over xc fences. He can be a little more forward on a hack but nothing scary. (Some days he plods along and on others he can jogs a few times.) I am a competent but nervous rider and Jet has really looked after me in everything we have done.

Last week he got dragged out of his field to Felbridge Show Ground for a teenager whose horse would not load. He was a complete gent in the 50 and 60cm clear round classes with a complete stranger on his back and won her two rosettes at her first show! I can send you videos.

Jet can pull ugly faces and be a bit mouthy but it is all a rouse. He is perfectly happy and harmless, just a real character who needs to know his place on the ground.

He is good to bath and groom, stands for the farrier and vet and loads himself. He loves going out for a party and behaves well at shows. On the subject of parties, to avoid one in the field, Jet should be in with other geldings or on his own. He can easily be segregated from mares with electric fencing.

The best thing that has happened to me this year is getting Jet in part exchange for a huge horse I had that was way too big for me, but sadly he is just too small and fine for me as I am not a lightweight adult. This is an extremely sad sale as I absolutely adore this pony, but at 13 stone I can’t be his long term mum.
