(Registered name is Slufters Dun N Dusted) She is by Green cottage ambassador who is by Peverill Peterborough

Cracking example of a New Forest pony who is county standard for both flat and workers but only lightly shown. She won at Romsey County this September and she was on the Pony club winning 70 showjumping team this summer

She has been ridden by an 11-year-old child this season, sad sale as adult owner feels she’s a bit on the small side for her and that she is holding her back. Beau is a very correct pony who is a super mover with a neat and tidy jump, she will definitely be a real contender if campaigned properly . Equally she is quiet enough for a competent child and can continue having fun at Pony Club and local level shows. She is a well schooled ride and sits on the bridle, she loves her work and lots of variety and has enjoyed doing lots of cross country, hunter trials and has hunted with the New Forest Bloodhounds. She has mainly show jumped with child rider and done Pony club teams and rallies. She would best suit either a small adult or competent child who is keen to get out and do things, she’s not a first pony as has the typical New Forest bit of sass, nothing nasty but she likes to be kept busy!

She is 100% in traffic and with the Farrier and to be clipped etc, very easy pony to have one the yard and happy to live in or out.

As a youngster, she ran on the forest and so is used to everything and not bothered by a bit of chaos.

Seen at livery.

Dun Gelding | 6 years | 13hh | Registered New Forest

Slim Shady as he’s known to his friends, has the sweetest, kindest temperament. Although still green, he always aims to please.

Highlights:
• So sweet and kind-natured – friendly temperament, gets on well with other ponies
• Great to load, travel, shoe, and catch.
• Turns his hoof to everything from happy hacking to jumping and mounted games.
• Hacks alone and in company

Slim has been with his current family for just over 3 months but has sadly proved to be too green for his current inexperienced rider and is therefore looking for a new home with the tools to help him to progress further.

To ride at home slim is forward thinking but always snaffle mouthed. He’s fairly new to jumping but loves it and is honest, he might wobble his way to a fence but will always jump when he gets there.
Slim hacks alone and in company and is happy to go in front or behind.

Now for the bad bits! Slim finds trips away from home to be quite overwhelming, he’s only been out twice so I do feel with time and patience he can overcome this and become the superstar we know he can be.
Occasionally when excited slim can pop in the odd happy buck, nothing that would bother a confident rider - he’s just having a good time!

Slim is the sweetest, big-hearted pony who’s an absolute pleasure to have on the yard. For the right person he is an absolute diamond in the rough just waiting to be brought out of his shell and shown the world.

We have had Chip (Pathfinder Olympic Flame) for 5 years so know him inside out. He is a pleasure to do in all ways, on the ground and to be ridden. He has a great personality and definitely a character on the yard. This is an extremely hard decision but my daughter has left for university and he will be wasted sitting at home. So we have decided it is time for Chip to teach someone new.

Chip is currently competing at 90cm showjumping unaffiliated. He is very careful and neat so he will usually go clear. He is currently schooling out cross country at 80cm and adding in some 90cm where he can. He is a pony that responds better to patiently building confidence. However, he is bold out cross country and absolute loves it. He has done one ODE last year I had planned to do more this year but unfortunately A levels came in the way of that.

He currently competes at prelim and novice in dressage. He does really like schooling and with the right person could easily excel at novice level. Chip is also a pro at pony club he has attended many rallies and has gone to 4 pony club camps and this is something he really enjoys. In the top class at PC he is often the demonstrator for schooling/dressage moves. Out hacking Chip can go in the font back middle he is very reliable and he's been a nanny to our other baby horse. He has also lived on farms so is very used to farm machinery and dogs. Chip is a very handsome pony wherever we go he always gets compliments.

Having said this he is not a first pony when Chip gets excited he can throw in a buck it is never to be nasty (and as he has grown up this is now rare). He is an honest pony but he wants you to work with him so he needs a confident rider. So for these reasons no novices please.

Unfortunately in September of 2023 Chip had a gastric impaction (following over consumption of a blackberry hedge - yes he loves his food!) (happy to discuss the details with full vet report and medical history). However this was 2 years ago he is now back on great form and this history doesn't affect him in anyway. Apart from this incident he is never sick or sorry.

Chip is up to date with vacs, teeth, physio etc .

He is good to load, clip and with farrier ( he has never had shoes on) .

He will come with all tack saddle, bridle, rugs etc

An ideal home for chip would be someone who wants to do a bit of everything and have fun with a safe sensible cheeky pony. He would also be a mother daughter/son dream. (I (Mum) very much enjoy riding him as he is so easy and safe out hacking and he has even popped a few 90cm jumps for me) Chip is a very sociable boy so he does need friends in his field he would hate to live alone. This is an extremely hard decision so please only enquire if you are serious, 5 star home only.

Very sad sale of Blue our Dutch New Forest Pony. We bought him after he'd just been backed and ridden on nearly 3 years ago and he has proved to be a super boy. Always handled by my then 12 year old son, he hacks out happily on his own or in company, very used to farm traffic, open spaces We have taken him out and about to many events including hunter trials, PC rallies, SJ (jumped up to 90cm), hunting (he loves this), unaffiliated dressage and showing. My son hacks him out on the Moor on his own and Blue is very happy and safe to ride.

Blue always gets noticed with his two blue eyes and his stunning paces. Potential to be an FEI dressage pony or cracking WHP, judges will love him!

Blue would suit either a small adult (he does take up the leg) or a child, he is well schooled and works nicely into a contact, also has his flying changes. He is safe and sane to take to competitions, PC/RC camp, clinics etc and well behaved in the warm up arena. He could also make an extremely smart WH pony with excellent conformation and a lovely jump. He is ridden in a Happy Mouth snaffle with caveson noseband, lovely mouth and off the leg.

Blue was very carefully bred by the renowned Pronk Stud in Holland, his pedigree is littered with the very best of UK and Dutch New Forest bloodlines.

He is excellent to load, clip, shoe and travel, loves human attention and great to turn out with others.

Excellent trial facilities near Hickstead, Sussex

Many photos and videos available via WhatsApp

We have purchased a horse, so he is now based in West Sussex with superb facilities for easy viewing. He is at a reduced price to sell quickly which reflects that he has a small blemish which is being treated at present which does not effect his performance in any way and will go imminently.

Blue truly is a super pony, fit and ready for someone to have alot of fun with!

Travels well In 3.5,7.5 and a trailer will happily load himself and will stand on quietly all day if needed, good with vet, clipping, dentist and farrier (shod all round).

Hacks alone or in company, completing at anything between 60/70/80 and also has done a couple of arena xc,been xc training and will happily jump ditches, steps and 3 paces through the water.

He’s a lovely pony that would make the ideal pony club, sj pony.

He’s unfortunately only for sale due to new circumstances and moving back to the island.

Jemima – 13.2hh New Forest Mare

After two wonderful years Jemima has very sadly been outgrown (we had hoped it would be longer but alas my son is growing like a weed!) We are now seeking a five-star, loving home for this very special pony, where she will want for nothing.

Jemima is a 16-year-old (2009), 13.2hh dark bay registered New Forest mare. She would make a fantastic second pony for a confident rider who enjoys a forward, fun ride.

She’s a genuine all-rounder with heaps of experience at pony club, riding club, camps, stay-away shows, and family holidays. We haven’t done much dressage – it’s not really my sons thing, but plenty of SJ, XC, arena eventing, barrel racing, and a little mounted games etc. She has also hunted in a previous home. Jemima is happiest popping around courses of 60–75cm with great success. She will jump bigger at home but may struggle with the spreads on 80cm+ in competition (venue dependant). She doesn’t need to be ridden every day and is the same whether ridden once or 5 times a week. That said, Jemima loves an active varied life and would be wasted in a field being a happy hacker at weekends.

2025 Highlights
Horsford & District Riding Club 2025 league
• 70cm SJ League - 2nd
• Junior Barrels Fastest Run of the season
• Junior Barrels - 1st
• Open Game - 1st
• Overall Barrel Points - 1st
Other 2025 highlights also include attending the Pony Club Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival Arena Eventing champs, also qualifying for the BRC Winter Novice SJ Champs (taking place next Spring).

2024 Highlights:

Sunshine Tour Championships (huge classes of approx 65 competitors)
• Supreme Champ 50/55 – 1st & 3rd
• 55cm – 5th & 5th
• 60cm – 4th
• 65cm – 3rd & 9th
• Supreme Champ 60/65 – 4th
• Jumped 9 rounds across the weekend – 8 clear!

Horsford & District Riding Club 2024 league
• Overall Junior Points Winner
• Junior Barrels Fastest Run of the Season
• Junior Barrels – 2nd
• Open Games – 2nd
• 55cm Speed Stakes SJ League – 3rd
• 60cm SJ League – 5th
• 70cm SJ League – 6th

On the ground, Jemima is an absolute sweetheart – easy to catch, groom, tack up, lead, shoe (happy barefoot or shod), and she travels well in both lorry (3.5t & 7.5t) and trailer. She is equally happy to live out or be stabled. Vaccinations and dental are up to date (due Jan 2026). She requires sedation for clipping and may occasionally pull a face when her girth is tightened – but she has no vices, she does not rear, kick, bite or buck.

She is safe in open spaces – although keen and forward. If your child is frightened of speed she's not the pony for you! Jemima is excellent to hack both alone and in company, and is used to heavy village traffic including buses, lorries, tractors and more, making her a truly reliable partner.

She comes with her saddle, 2 bridles, and an extensive collection of rugs & boots.

Forward-going, fun second pony
Proven competition record

Never bolted or reared
Safe to hack alone/in company & traffic-proof
Happy living out or stabled
Excellent to handle and travel
Turns out with mares and geldings

£7750 including full wardrobe
Burgh Castle, NR31

We would love for Jemima to go to another Pony Club / Riding Club home and we will definitely want to stay in touch!
Hundreds of photos and videos available on request, plus references from instructors, Pony Club, and Riding Club.

Something I’d never thought I’d do as Grace has been part of the family for the last 5 years however with upcoming travel plans it is a very heartbreaking sale.
Grace is a lovely stamp of a new forest and with it has a massive personality and is a real character on the yard however she is definitely more whoa than go very laid back would never bolt etc.
Low mileage - done some showing, somerford park camps and beach trips.
Up to date with teeth, farrier, vaccinations, worming. Good to catch, load, teeth, farrier. Snaffle mouth. Very good in traffic etc not phased by anything.
Had a relatively quiet year living out and needs to be brought back into full work. She is being sat on a couple of times a week but isn’t up to her full fitness.
Would include full wardrobe.

Bear is a lovely bay, registered New Forest gelding with a kind, willing temperament. Although only four, he has an old head on young shoulders and has already shown how sensible and genuine he is.

He’s done an intro dressage test and is jumping 60cm in the ring, and has happily popped over a few logs while out hacking. He goes in a snaffle at all times and has been ridden by a small child both at home and a show.

He hacks alone and in company, and is easy to do—good to clip, loads in a trailer and is generally lovely to have around.

Bear would make a fantastic Pony Club/all round pony or he would be equally happy in a happy hacking home.

He does have a mild locking stifle which he may well grow out of with age and as he strengthens. However, this is well managed through living out 24/7 and hasn’t stopped him from enjoying his job.

He is the most lovely pony and will only be sold to a genuine, loving home. Otherwise he will be kept as my hunting pony.

A super pony that is fantastic to handle and very easy to do in all ways. Only ever ridden in a snaffle. Approx 13.3hh

A forward going pony, which will make someone's best friend and competition pony with a knowledgeable owner due to his young age. He is still very green and has not been rushed with us.

He has been ridden a number of times in the ménage on the flat and hacking with a 9 year old and has been very well behaved.

Dressage - he has been taken out to his first competition, and behaved extremely well taking everything in his stride, with so much potential with further training.

Showjumping - he has been popping some jumps and has the potential to make an awesome competition pony with the right rider. He recently went to his first little showjumping event.

Hacking - he is great to hack alone and in company, never silly. Ridden in open fields in a group & on his own, always well mannered.

Good to box, clip, shoe. Up to date with vaccines, physio.

More photos & videos available on request.

  • Needs to be up and going and have seen a bit of the world, ideally already shown
  • Must have an impeccable temperament and be true to type / HOYS quality
  • Needs to have seen traffic

I am looking for a top class M&M pony - either a Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Dales, Welsh A, Welsh B or C, Newforest, small connemara (around 14hh) or a Traditional or Native coloured pony. Preferably a gelding but would consider a stallion or a mare if the perfect pony. I will buy from Ireland.

The pony must have a lovely temperament with no hang ups and be of HOYS quality

Things I like:

-A forward pony

Things I dislike:
-Dishing
-Napping
-Excessively spooky ponies
-Stuffy ponies

I am completely open to age, happy to purchase a top class 4 year old that has seen traffic and is riding away (happy if green), equally happy to buy a proven pony right through to a (sound) veteran. Bonus if the pony has a BD record

I have a very good budget for the right pony, who will have a varied life with 5* care
Please WhatsApp me if you have a pony that might fit the bill

BSJA Registered Name : Sunshine Delight (435327)

Sunny is a truly special pony. She has unbelievable temperament and ability. She is scopey, careful and brave with amazing rideability. A lovely balanced canter and good, adjustable stride. Forward but never sharp, she covers the ground well. Nothing fazes her and she loves her job. Amazingly consistent, polite and confidence giving.

We are only selling as my daughter is off ponies this year and Sunny would be wasted if not given the opportunity to help another child to progress on their BSJA journey.

She is a fantastic Novice, Discovery, Newcomer/1m Restricted Rider and Bronze league prospect for 25/26. We have purposely kept her points low so is still in points to qualify all of these classes and jump Second Rounds/Finals. She has never been over jumped. Currently on 164 points.

Sunny has lovely flatwork, auto changes, basic lateral work. She has a good brain, clean footwork and good technique over a fence. She will try her heart out for her rider. She is not a stopper and will take a miss. She is the perfect pony to help a child to learn to ride correctly. Perfect to hack alone or in company. Impeccable manners at shows/stay aways. Has done some dressage, XC and Equitation, but this has not been our focus.

Qualified:

4/4 British Novice Double Clears for 2026 (achieved in 5 outings). Qualified to jump Second Rounds 2026.

2/4 Discovery Double Clears for 2026 at Wales (in one weekend). Will easily get the other 2.

British Novice National Championship Finals 2025

Novice Second Round at Parwood (Double Clear and 5th, qualifying on first attempt).

British Novice 2025 DCs achieved in 5 attempts

Blue Chip Championship 2025- Pikeur Pony Novice Final and Eskadron Pony Discovery Final (qualifying both at first attempt)

Novice second rounds 2024

Discovery second rounds 2024

Blue Chip Championship Sapphire Final 2023

Sunny is perfect for farrier, vet, dentist, to clip and to catch. Easy to handle by a child. Loads and travels without any fuss. Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, physio, etc. Will turn out with mares or geldings. Sunny is a genuinely lovely pony and is a pleasure to own and have on the yard.

A rare opportunity to buy a talented competition pony with the rideability and temperament to help a child progress with confidence. We would only let her go to the very best of homes, where we know she would thrive. If sold, we would like to keep in touch and we would offer her a home back with us if she were to be sold in future.

4 years worth of videos/photos available. Please call or message to discuss further, with details of your rider/sitution.
