Chewie is a registered New Forest pony, 13.2hh and 15 years old. Easy to handle, catch, shoe and load. Happily lives out.

Chewie has been beautifully schooled to medium level with an ex GB British Dressage rider and competed unaffiliated at medium scoring 69.5% and placing 1st. He has competed up to 90cm and cross country schooled.

Chewie would make an excellent pony for a confident child or small adult. He is ready to compete or simply have some fun with someone! He is a reliable pony but can occasionally be strong and have the odd spook, but nothing a confident rider can’t handle.

He's very much part of our family, so we're keen to find him a home where he'll continue to be loved.

A very attractive, 13.2HH (137cm), 5 year old (2021), bay New Forest Pony. She was backed in August 2025 and has been doing a variety of educational activities since, including hunter trials, hunting, showjumping competitions, showing, lots of hacking, and jump clinics.

She is quiet and straightforward with a lovely temperament. She loves to be groomed and made a fuss of. She lives out but was stabled at night between December and March, so is comfortable being in or out. She has been a lead rein pony for the smallest children and a safe hack for older children and adults. She has given a small adult that works for us the confidence to canter again!!

As we have taken her education slowly, she is competing at 60cm but is a careful jumper and on the lunge has jumped 90cm oxers and produces a good shape over the fence. She has three nice paces and is smart enough to do show/WHP classes in due course and is good to lunge, long rein and lead off another horse.

My daughter (16) has so enjoyed riding her over the past year but how has an apprenticeship with an event rider and can only take one pony. We are looking for an experienced, five star home to continue her education and who enjoys doing all pony club activities, fun rides, hunter trials etc.

She wears a snaffle, is excellent to clip, good with the farrier, always confident to load, travels in both a trailer and horsebox, and currently barefoot. She is good with the vet and up to date with teeth, annual injections, worming etc.

This gorgeous boy is looking for a new, loving home. Olly is fantastic in the right hands, but is not a novice ride. He has spent the summer on loan to a friend, and with his young rider (11) has won many accolades, including Pony Club Camp Best Turned Out and Reivers Week Best Turned Out. At the Berwickshire Show he gained 1st in 85cm Working Hunter and was overall Working Hunter Champion.

He is a good, honest jumper and has enjoyed hunting in the past. Olly can be seen at the Lauderdale Show on August 22nd and is available for sale from the end of August.

Olly is very sweet-natured and perfect to do all ways on the ground. Loads well, unfazed by farrier, clipping, vet, traffic, dogs.

Full veterinary history is available to view. Her hocks were medicated three years ago, and once again since, as routine maintenance rather than any serious sign of lameness, more to manage her age and workload.

No expense has been spared on her care: diet, nutrition, physio and farrier work are all kept up properly, she's on a joint supplement, up to date with vaccinations, teeth and feet, and her tack is professionally fitted to her.

She's historically show jumped 70–80cm and gone cross-country around 70/80cm.

At 16 we'd like her competition jumping kept around 60:70 going forward. She's still very happy schooling at 70cm, we just don't want that to be her regular competition workload.

Must already be ridden and has to be over 5 yrs old (RDA rules). Can accept some quirks but must be safe for our disabled riders. They will also have to pass a stage 2 vetting which can be arranged whilst on loan.

We can offer a high standard of care, a light work load so older ages are acceptable if sound.

We have stables but they live out as much as possible even throughout winter. We can offer small herd/individual turnout.

Joey – 11hh 4-Year-Old New Forest Pony

Joey is a beautiful 11hh, 4-year-old New Forest pony with a kind, willing temperament. He would make an excellent first pony for a child looking for a sensible, fun partner.

Has had 5 year old inexperienced beginner on board as well as autistic children

He learns quickly and always tries to please. Joey hacks confidently alone, in company, and on the lead rein, and has been out through open fields, forests, and streams without fuss. He is happy to be bathed and is easy to handle in every way.

Joey enjoys jumping and is happy to jump a full course, as well as cross-country fences, ditches, steps, and other natural obstacles. He also works well in the arena and, with his excellent conformation, lovely movement, and long, healthy mane, would make a lovely showing prospect.

He has had plenty of desensitising work and is unfazed by umbrellas, bouncy balls, hula hoops, pool noodles, ribbons, and similar exercises, always remaining calm and willing.

Joey is a pleasure on the yard. He is happy to stand in the stable, can be turned out alone or in company, ties up well, and is good to catch, groom, tack up, and handle. He is also good for the farrier and vet.

He loads and travels well in a lorry and stays calm in new places, making him easy to take out and about.

Exciting prospect who was backed at the end of last year and turned away, Leo has now been lightly produced at a professional yard and is ready to find his new home.

He is a big moving boy with flatwork basics established and lovely balanced paces that show huge promise for the future. He is light in the hand while being very responsive to the aids and has a lovely rhythmical canter. He is keen to learn and enjoys his schooling with a positive attitude to work and has proven to be a safe, uncomplicated ride. He has been out to local arena hires and dressage where he gained very positive comments and behaved beyond his years. He is also happily popping small fences, hacking out in company and a little on his own. He is good to handle on the ground, just a bit wriggly and what you would expect of a typical youngster. Good to catch, trim etc. Fully vaccinated and teeth up to date.

14.2hh with a big frame still to fill, Leo moves beautifully and is straight and correct. He is now ready for his next human to continue his education and has an exciting future as a competitive all rounder, dressage pony or for flat / whp m and m classes. Leo was bought as a shared project but unfortunately recent surgery has meant plans have had to change.

Leo has had a sticky stifle in one back leg which only became evident during backing, this causes him no issues now and has improved as he does more and gets stronger. He also slightly rubbed the very base of his mane and a small spot on his tail at the start of the season but this stopped as soon as he was given a fly rug. As a result he is available at a slightly reduced price, please don’t ask for further information if these are things that bother you, it is highly unlikely they would be noticed on viewing but are declared. Bruce is lovely quality stamp of a New Forest pony with excellent conformation and clean straight limbs. He was 2nd in the NPS novice finals at Scone last year in his first season and has been 3rd in his only 2 Royal international qualifiers this year against much more established ponies. This is only his second year out and there’s so much more to come from this lovely lad.

Backed at 5yrs and brought along slowly and correctly. This pony has the best yet to come.

Bruce would make an excellent junior ridden prospect but is equally good enough to contest the opens or make an equally excellent dressage pony.

He loves hacking, great in open spaces and goes in front or behind, alone and in company. Definitely one you could take to pony club camp or rally’s. Good with traffic and has good stable manners.
