Pony Club Superstar/ Allrounder

PC ALLROUNDER/ SCHOOLMASTER looking for a new rider to teach the ropes…

Harvey is a 19 year old liver chestnut gelding and is the kindest, most genuine pony you could wish for. My daughter has done everything with him (aged 9 - 12) and he’s now very sadly outgrown and she is moving on to a 14.2. He will happily step down to look after a young rider and teach them all that he knows.

He has done loads of pony club, BS academy and BS Just for Schools, Cotswold Cup events and unaffiliated ODEs with us (being placed pretty much every time out) plus has done BE80/90 with previous owners.

He is snaffle mouthed in all 3 phases, responsive but not silly or strong and I can relax knowing that he always does his best and brings her home safely. He does a
beautiful dressage test with some great scores and comments from the judges, he’s not bothered by any fillers/ditches and he is a xc machine.

I have tons of videos I can share.
His CV highlights are -
1st Place Area SJ Qualifiers 2024 (80cm)
1st Place Area Dressage Qualifiers 2024 (PC70) also 3rd PC80
Cotswold Cup Solihull 5th place
Rolleston Hall ODE 7th place
Eland Lodge ODE 7th place
BE arena eventing championship
Qualified for SEG Champs and Cotswold Cup Champs

A complete gentleman with wonderful manners and my daughter can do everything with him herself. A very special pony and a rare find. He even won the award for Pony of the Year at our branch last year.

Looking for the right partnership for him and finding the very best of homes is extremely important.
Derbyshire/ Leicestershire border.

Mona and Inka are a mother daughter duo who came into the centre in March 2025. They are looking for a home where they can stay together.

Mona is a lovely little Shetland pony with a kind heart and gentle spirit, now looking for a special home to call her own. She has a calm temperament and enjoys the company of both people and other ponies. Mona is well-mannered and would make a wonderful companion pony.

Inka loves attention, enjoys being groomed, and gets along well with other ponies. She’s ideal for a family with experience in caring for ponies or a companion home where she can enjoy a peaceful and loving environment.

Due their type they do require restricted grazing. They are currently out during the day and in overnight on a woodchip area.

Can you offer Mona and Inka a loving home together?

2025 Springboard Champion

  • 2025 Springboard Champion
  • Harri - A super once in a lifetime pony looking for his next rider!

This very special 128cm gelding has been a dream for us, he’s given my 10 year old son an incredible year of experience, confidence, and unforgettable memories. From jumping consistently around Pony Premiers, Winters and Graham Heaths, to qualifying for HOYS Second Rounds and the winning the Springboard Championship 2025, Harri has done it all with heart and style.

He’s more than a competition pony he’s a true teacher and friend. Harri has instilled so much self belief in Alfie, helping him step up to bigger tracks with confidence. Now, with younger ponies coming through that need Alfie’s focus, it’s time for Harri to do the same for another lucky child.

Despite his experience, Harri rides and feels years younger he’s super fit and full of enthusiasm for the job.

He’s helped start off several top riders and has enjoyed wins and placings at venues including Liverpool International, HOYS, Bolesworth, Hickstead, the Royal Highland Show, and London International. He’s even represented both Ireland and Scotland at Home Pony Internationals with success and been a top 128cm in England, Ireland and Sweden.

Harri’s not just about the big shows he’s a joy to hack, great XC, beach rides, and has even looked after our friend’s tiny 5 and 8 year olds for a play. He’s genuinely a one in a million pony.

This is a heartbreaking sale, and finding the right home is top priority. Harri is very much a loved member of the family and has been cherished by all his previous homes. We would love to see him continue to give confidence and joy to another young rider.

Lots of videos can be found under “Alfie Bailey Showjumping” on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Teggles is a sweet pony who I've owned for 10 years. During this time I have done dressage tests, showjumping and hacking. Teggles is a good all rounder who enjoys being ridden especially jumping, this is what she loves the most and looks after her rider. Day to day she is easy to handle on the ground but occasionally she can be a bit bolshy.

Teggles turns 21 this month but please do not let this put you off, she's always been and still is fit and healthy I've only ever had the vet for annual vaccinations, she's barefoot and lives on fresh air!

She enjoys hacking and she will canter and gallop with others and comes back to trot as soon as you ask her to, she's not strong and always ridden in a snaffle. However, as good as she is she is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider as she's a Welsh pony and can have her moments when she spooks or gets fizzed up over something silly hence why she is not suitable for a beginner or nervous rider.

This is a hard decision to sell after 10 years, she is a much loved pony but I know she is not ready to retire and could make a fab pony for someone else to enjoy. Therefore, I will only sell to the right person/home, this is an honest advert so please only get in touch if you are genuinely interested.

We have owned Alfie since 2019. You can see his record on BSJA website he has 340.00 Winnings and 200 Points.

He is laid back but forward going. He hacks out alone or in company, he has shoes, is fully clipped once a year in December, Lives in, but out a lot in summer, great with everyone, never gets in trouble.

He has a personality and likes the ladies, no vices, but likes to be the last one in from the field.

We have done a little unaffiliated and affiliated SJ, he has won and been placed in many classes down at Felbridge and Pyecombe from 70cm to 90cm, he rarely lets us down,

Please see photos and videos attached, many stories we could tell you about, would prefer a local sale with the possibility of coming to see him when he has settled.

Perfect all rounder & confidence giver

Ref #: 373116
  • All rounder
  • Pony Club pony

£3,300
  • Trakehner
  • Chestnut Roan
  • Mare
  • 19 years
  • 14.1 hands
  • All rounder
  • Pony Club pony
  • Confidence giver

We are looking for a new home for our much loved 14.1hh, New Forest x Trakehner, 19y/o wonderful all rounder.

In the time we’ve had Bebe she really has done it all! She has been to pony club camp, numerous rallies and countless unaffiliated competitions, including dressage, endurance, ODEs, hunter trials and showjumping. She is particularly fantastic in jump offs and has won so many prizes. She also raced and regularly whipped in with the South Down Bloodhounds with her previous owner and was known as a cracking hunter (circa 2014!)

She was primarily bought as a confidence giver for my daughter who was terrified of breaking out of a trot, and really has been the safest and most forgiving pony - has never bucked, reared or bolted. We have happily let small children, or adults who have never ridden before, ride her. She is excellent to shoe, clip, load and travel and will happily stand around waiting at shows before turning on a sixpence round a jump off! She really is the easiest pony to in all ways - a true mother’s dream (and this coming from an extremely nervous mother!).

Unfortunately, we have kept her on being underused for far too long. For the past 5yrs she has done little more than trot along with me leading out her little Shetland companion - bar the odd decent hacks with my daughter when she was home from uni or now from her life in London. However, despite being almost 19, Bebe has never been lame or sick or sorry and is very ready to be brought into work for the coming summer. We really can see her relishing getting back to a more active life again. She has been nicely schooled in the past and is still capable of a lovely dressage test and we can see her popping around small courses for many years to come.

After a decade with us, this decision to sell has not come lightly and a loving new home is a must.

Bebe has been living out 24/7 all year round, shod front feet only and up to date with her vaccinations (due again in October).

Price includes all tack and rugs. We would consider a lower price without tack or for the ideal home!

Location is Preston Candover, Hampshire
Unfortunately, we have very limited try out facilities but really happy for viewings.

  • Super pony to hack, clip, shoe.
  • A true allrounder.

Milly was bought by us just over a year ago as a fun pony for my daughter to compete in Cradle Stakes, unaffiliated sj and arena eventing. She has proved to be a great first competition pony.

She will trot the cross poles with my youngest daughter then turn up the speed and win with my older daughter. She has won unaffiliated with us at Aintree, Northcote and Morris equestrian and has also won lower level BSPS cradle stakes classes. She has competed at arena eventing with us and again won around 50cm and 60 cm classes.

We feel that Milly would be best suited to an established small jockey ready to go out and do unaffiliated sj/NSEA/trailblazers/ arena eventing/ pony club. She likes the fun things and enjoys an established jockey. She did a BSPS camp with us and went through the water, ditches , steps etc on cross country no problem and although she can be forward on the cross country she has brakes . She also very much seemed to know the score with games. We have done games at home this week and she has confirmed she knows the score- videos available

When we purchased Milly we were not informed that she had had laminitis in the past. We had her insulin levels checked and these were raised but she does not have Cushings. We have managed her by limiting her turnout to a couple of hours a day but we do not soak her hay.

This is an honest sale as due to my lucky children having other ponies and us doing mainly working hunter shows, Milly is not being enjoyed as much as she should be.

We are based in Cumbria. Please whats app for videos

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

We have had this lovely pony for two and a half years. She is now very sadly outgrown and looking for a new rider to have lots of fun.

In the time we have had her we have done pony club, camps, stay away shows, rides on the moor and beach. She qualified for pony club mini champs and would be perfect for nsea grass roots.

She has taken my daughter from jumping 40cm to 70 cm courses and has schooled higher. She loves jumping and is quick in a jump off. She isn’t a first pony as she is a forward and responsive ride.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard with a very sweet personality and my children can do everything with her.

She is good to catch, load, clip and with the farrier and dentist. Doesn’t change when out in open spaces and good in traffic.

Fit and ready to give another family lots of fun. Comes with tack and rugs.

In North Devon. Lots of video available on request.

Sweet Twm,

This pony is no world beater, but if you want a safe pony to hack out with friends, he's your man! He doesn't really like to go it alone, I think if he was regularly ridden he may become confident to go out alone, but the joy of Twm is that you don't have to ride regularly. He will happily stay in the field while the others go out.

He will live in or out , probably prefers out but we stabled overnight in the winter and he was happy to come in...As long as there is food he will do most things. We didn't rug him. He has recently been living alone and didn't seem to mind at all.
Good with farrier, dentist etc. Loads and travels well. Good with children and dogs.
I think he has probably done some natural horsemanship groundwork. He is light to ride and easy to stop.

Like most Welsh (if you know you know!) he is a bit reserved at first and takes a while to trust. He works well in a routine, feeding at same time, same place that kind of thing. Definitely does not need to be ridden regularly (once a fortnight in previous home) and he is no different either way. The worst thing he does is be a bit difficult to catch if out of a routine, but again will always come for food. (He's Welsh!)

I would like him to have a quiet gentle rider, I don't think he would understand being bullied. (We have never had to so??)

Twm is a bay Welsh D gelding 17yrs old with very low mileage. Good breeding (Nebo and Thornyside) No lumps or bumps, fit and healthy. He comes with a saddle, bridle and two rugs.

He has great balanced paces in dressage and would be a great dressage pony. We have competed him in pony club Eventers Challenge and NSEA Dressage.

Extra is great to catch, will never kick, fun to tack up and will stand all day being pampered and decorated for pony club events!

He hacks alone or in company, and is great in traffic.

He has done unaffiliated dressage, cross country and LOTs of show jumping (which is our daughters love).

Great to load, travel, clip and shoe.

Our vet says he will pass vetting and is amazed by his athleticism and references from his weekly instructor can also be made available.

He will only be sold to the very best loving home, and all enquiries must provide videos before visits.

Popsi a lovely natured and well mannered pony, both on the ground and in the stable.

Can be led by children, currently in a home with 3x children and on a working farm, very good in traffic with farm animals and machinery.

Happy to be groomed, tacked up, enjoys baths, easy to load and good to clip.

Been with us for 2 years mostly ridden by my now 9 year old daughter, who is looking to move onto her next pony.

Currently In pony club with us and has done a bit of everything with us including.
Showjumping
PC Games
Cross country
unaffiliated showing
beach ride
Schooling
hacking

Always a safe pony and happy to lead or follow/ be at the back, with a group or solo.

Qualified with my daughter for the junior series final at Bishop Burton in the 60cm class in 2024. Happy with other ponies in the field, ideal 2nd pony for a slightly more experienced child, but had also been used as a a lead rein pony in previous home. Popsi has lovely paces and would excel in showing or dressage.

Pretty Welsh Pony, Dark Bay, 15yrs (rising 16yrs), 12.3hh.

Very sweet natured, easy to handle and a good doer. Loves being around people. Lovely movement.

She has been used for and really enjoys Pony Club rallies, Camp and local unaffiliated Show Jumping. Intelligent mare that needs a confident rider to be her new best friend.

She has come back into work recently having been out of work over the winter as my daughter has another pony. The time off as not effected her and in the last few weeks she has happily started back hacking, jumping and been having a go at mountain games bending poles etc.

Used to farm machinery and traffic on a busy road. Lives in or out. No health issues, fully vaccinated.

A sad sale but she has been outgrown. Good home essential.

Comes with tack and rugs.

Darcy has been my daughter's pony for the past 4 years but he's been hopelessly outgrown and a change in circumstances has forced a very sad sale.

We are still very much in touch with his old owner who had him for 11 years prior.

Please don't let his age put you off, he is not ready to retire and he's still very much full of life and is completely sound and I would love to see him making another child's dreams come true.

Darcy is a forward going fun responsive ride and is quick off the leg.

Darcy really excels at Showjumping and is very fast against the clock and is always in the placings even in very large classes. He has recently been out competing at 50/60cms with ease.

He has done mounted games and pony club racing in the past and was very successful.

To hack he is bomb proof on the roads but can get a bit excited before a gallop. He has never bucked or reared.

Darcy has taken my daughter from doing lead rein/first ridden on him to winning overall junior at our local riding club for the past 3 years and representing the club at STARS at Aintree.

He really excels in the show ring with his flashy movement and effortlesss transitions.

He also makes a good working hunter and will produce a lovely dressage test.

He is up to date with teeth, feet, worming, injections, physio etc and is currently bare foot.

He will come with all his tack (including shires hi lite saddle/show saddle/every day bridle/show bridle) and rugs. The right home is more important than price.

  • Sweet mare, very easy to handle and have around.

Our “Robyn Goch” is sadly outgrown and looking for her next jockey to look after, teach and to do a range of fun, low level activities.

She is a sweet, safe, full up 12.2hh, welsh x type, chestnut, mare, 19 years young.

Robyn has been an excellent all rounder, brave and bold. Loving her job, she has been there and done it all, she can go up and down the gears to look after her little jockey, she teaches them so much on and off the ground.

In her previous home she has had great success at competitions, especially working hunter and was always placed.

In the 3 years we have had her, she has been my daughters second pony, we have done a variety of activities, jumping, working hunter, cross country schooling (up to 55cm), showing, fancy dress, hacking and all PC rallies, including camp. She has seen PC mounted games equipment and done a little training. Represented our PC branch at Area dressage.

Robyn enjoys a variety of work, is bombproof in the heaviest of traffic, hacks alone or in company, front or rear, with an electric bike and with dogs running alongside her. She is excellent in open spaces, never spooky or silly, can be strong when jumping but does have brakes.

She stands happily and patiently, to be groomed, on or by the trailer and waits for her turn and always behaves well. She is easy to bath, clip, load, travel, with the dentist, farrier and vet, up to date with teeth, back checks and injections.

Robyn is a much loved memeber of our family, she is handled by my daughter, happy to live in or out, we keep her on restricted grazing as she is a very good doer!

We are currently working on Robyn’s fitness, as she has been out of regular work over the winter months.
Looking for an experienced loving home. Serious enquiries only. Lots of videos available upon request.
Home is most important.
