She is a typical welsh and quite hot and strong to ride so would not be for a nervous novice but she would step down for a younger or lower level rider. She has previously done Pony Club Eventing and Arena Eventing. Would also be a great working hunter she would easily jump the plaited tracks.

Well travelled she has competed at Hickstead, HOYS, the Royal Highland Show and the Home Ponies. Not at all spooky at fences or fillers and jumps open water for HOYS Foxhunter 2nd rounds. Won Discovery 2nd rounds 2023 did not do final as we were focussed on higher classses.

Came 2nd at Arena Eventing this month which was my daughters first attempt at this type of competition.

Standing at approx 14.2hn this lovely boy is rising 6 years and has been professionally backed and schooled. He spent last summer doing M&M NPS/BSPS Novice WHP despite still looking immature he was placed in some big classes including Cheshire County.

He has had some downtime through the winter and has matured nicely. Jumping a super round in his first show back last weekend, he is now fit and ready to turn his hoof to anything.

Eagle is a stunning boy who combines beauty, power, presence and personality. He is everyone's best friend with a love for attention and drive to please.

He enjoys jumping, is brave and not spooky with fillers. He's taken part in unaffiliated jumping and experienced xc fences. He remains calm in new environments and situations.

Hacks alone and in company, good in traffic. Easy in open spaces, doesn't hot up, soft snaffle ride.

He is happiest living out (but also enjoys a rest in the stable too) a good doer, a kind horse who turns out alone or with others.

Comes to call, easy to groom, tack up and handle. Barefoot with very strong feet, good to load and travels in a trailer or lorry.

Pete

Pete is currently competing unaffiliated novice level dressage. Has done lots pony club activities and is bomb proof and safe, he always looks after his rider. He will happily trot round a course of jumps for a nervous rider. We have jumped him round a course of 90cm.

Pete is more of a kick along than pull and would be suitable for novice rider, mother daughter share, small adult or nervous rider. He can plod along happily but if you ask him to work he does, he knows his job and loves it whether it be jumping or flatwork. Loves hacking, will go first or last never strong or silly, perfect in open fields, beach and would do so alone or in company. My daughter has handled and hacked him since having him from the age 13.

Wouldn’t suit complete novice home as he is your typical Welsh so would try you out but never nasty and is extremely friendly and safe.

Much loved sweet pony who will do whatever you ask of him.

I aim to be a kind, sensitive rider, I've previous BD points to medium, BHS coach, always training, learning, working to improve but not a super brave rider, so not looking for super sharp or overly spooky types, my own pony time is my down time, I want to pat, play and prance

I've no breed preference, no gender preference, just a nice mover, nice temperament, trainable brain, nothing too young, very min of 5, and that would be for an old head on young shoulders type!!

Budget around 20k bit of movement but please don't send me 30k horses unless you want to negotiate or I'll just cry and feel despondent

Monty, Welsh section D, dunn gelding by Thorneyside golden boy, out of Thorneyside May Queen, currently standing at 14,2 should make 14.3/15hh, ready for his next stage in life through no fault of his own.

Good to handle, load, travel, trim, up to date with vaccinations. Monty is a Very bold character, he’s good to hack alone and in company and he’s not scared of much.

He is very quiet and will happily lead the way past the scary things. He’s not strong and you could trust him on a long rein in open spaces. Before coming to me he was lightly backed doing lots of groundwork.

Since coming to me I have ridden him away in Walk, trot and canter. He has been started slowly and always been taught to go forward and never been pinned in. He’s still green but very honest

He naturally carries himself with good self carriage.

He’s been popped over a fence and shown to be very brave with good scope.

He’s recently been took to his first showing clinic and he was impeccably behaved.

Personally I think Monty would make a cracking Hoys junior or working hunter pony. He’s brave, safe., Good looking and moves for fun. what more could you want 

He just needs more time to mature and come into himself, he’s currently in his winter scruffs but advert shows now and in summer.

13.2 (full up and chunky) 7 year old unregistered section D / cob.

The most perfect hacking pony who has proven he has more to give than just hack! We bought him to be a nanny and that’s what he’s done. He walks out well, keeps up, goes in front or behind, unphased by the biggest and fastest of traffic even when he’s on the traffic side double file. He can have a jog so not for a total novice but he is always safe, snaffle mouthed and never strong.

He hadn’t been schooled before coming to us but he moves nicely, works in an outline in all 3 paces and tries hard. Still green and doesn’t always get the correct canter lead but always improving. He loves to jump and is very bold, totally unphased by fillers, planks etc. I think would make a wonderful all round pony club pony very quickly.

We took him to a show and he didn’t bat an eye. Perfect to travel, load, tack up, warm up etc. Stood on the lorry quietly when we took the other horse away. A total angel. He did a prelim test to make up a team, having only been in the school 2 times prior. He scored consistent 7’s with super positive comments, the score just being dropped by a wrong leg canter that wasn’t corrected.

Perfect to clip, handle, catch etc etc. Handled by 80 year old non horsey grand parents.

Prefers to live out, but is happy in, just slightly more forward in his work when he’s stabled 24/7!

Needs a balanced rider so no total novices, but you don’t need to be the best rider in the world to ride him! He is regularly ridden by a visually impaired para rider and is very good at looking after both himself and his rider.

I think the world of him so he wont go to just anyone, 5* long term homes only please. Only for sale as we no longer need a nanny horse, and need the funds to replace a retired first ridden Shetland. If we didn’t need the money, he would stay despite no longer needing a nanny as he is the most loveable, characteristic little pony ever!
