Rhubarb jumps for fun and would suit a keen rider wanting to crack on with some serious fun. She has jumped some big country out hunting in Somerset but is showing to have the quick thinking and precision needed for showjumping too. She would love team chasing and cross country. With some schooling her flat work could lead on to some eventing too.

Her Irish breeding is exceptional. Rhubarb is 16 years young with low miles on the clock as she has bred foals for past three years.

She has a no nonsense approach to life and needs a rider who is forward focused. Shes wintered out in a mixed herd but is in great condition and coming back into work slowly to ensure she fittens up after her time off strong and well.
She is great in traffic, hacks alone and in company, loves a groom and a bath. Good to load and travel. Good with clippers. She can live in or out and is a good doer.

She is currently bare foot but is good to shoe. Price will go up the more we do with her here, can be seen at livery in Devon, TQ13. A great keen mare ready to have some fun out jumping this summer or to get fit for next hunting season.

Been in the same home the last four years and this is a very sad sale on behalf of her owner.

ROR eligible but only very lightly raced (twice in bumpers - retired sound).
Well hunted with multiple packs locally, hunter trials, beach rides, happy hacking, dressage competitions, low level show jumping, she’s even been out gathering Exmoor ponies off the moorland! Selley is a true all rounder. Comfortably schooling multiple fences of 1m at home and would happily go and compete 90s tomorrow.

Good feet, good to shoe, loads herself, clip, bath, clip, groom and cuddle she’s a doddle to deal with.
Schools very nicely, lateral work, walk to canter etc in place. Jumps well and really enjoys this, she’s bold and takes you to a fence without ever feeling like you’re getting ran away with.

Selley likes being kept active, but isn’t silly after some time off either.
Not a nappy thought in her, she can pop in a buck if it’s been her first time doing fast or jumping work for a while and does require a confident rider therefore is not suitable for a novice or nervous home.

Bobby does not enjoy jumping on his own.  He has plenty of ability and a great technique.  Happily followed round a tough team chase with a 15yo girl in the saddle at the weekend with no issues at all but would not suit individual competitive competitions.  We are sure he’ll make an amazing hunter, he just prefers a lead.

Only ever travelled in 3.5T and 7.5T horseboxes but I have no concerns that being in a trailer would bother her as she travels fine.

Always been unshod, this is a personal choice. Never been any trouble for the farrier for trims. Fine to clip.

Ferdi’s only downside is that she suffers from mild sweet itch in the summer. I have managed this purely just by ensuring she has a fly rug on when turned out in summer months.

Would suit amateur rider or competent teenager to compete COH.
