Our lovely 8-year-old, 15.3hh Thoroughbred mare, Daisy (Doubleforfun), is now looking for her next partner. An ex-racehorse with excellent breeding, she ran three races but was just too slow for the track. She is RoR registered and has been carefully and sympathetically retrained for a second career.

Snaffle mouthed at all times and schooling well on the flat, she has competed in unaffiliated dressage and show jumping, and has enjoyed cross-country schooling up to 90cm. She has plenty of scope with the potential to progress up the levels in time. She’s not fazed by fillers and has already placed in both low level dressage and show jumping events.

Daisy is very laid back most of the time, but as a Thoroughbred, she can still have her TB moments. She takes confidence from her rider, so she will only be sold to a knowledgeable and competent home with experience of Thoroughbreds. She would suit a confident and sympathetic rider who can continue her education.

She hacks alone, though she prefers company, and generally feels more secure with a friend nearby. She stables well overnight, loads like a dream, and is good for the farrier and currently barefoot with no issues. She does need sedation for dental work and clipping. Happy to live in or out, she is up to date with teeth, feet, and vaccinations, and is fit and ready to go.

We have put a lot of time and effort into this kind and genuine girl, and this is a very difficult sale due to personal circumstances. A truly rewarding project for someone experienced who can offer her a calm, consistent home.

Bruce is a complete gentleman who has been so easy to do in every way.

He has been purchased with the potential to become a dressage / riding club allrounder , he is only 4 years of age and still has lots of growing to do.
We have produced him very slowly and not over done any ridden work or road work he gets hacked mostly and just once a week in the arena
From a very young age he has been kind and gentle and accepting of everything you ask of him.
He lives on a busy farm and is great in the heaviest of farm traffic, cars, wagons, bikes etc, young children and various other animals.
He has been regularly foot trimmed since a 2 year old.
Bruce is good to bath/shower loves attention and being pampered as we have a solarium and done on a weekly basis ! He is also good to clip having been fully clipped out at 4 years.

Bruce is currently schooling nicely in the arena, proving to have a lovely soft mouth and responsive to the leg.
He has been to some riding club rallies and pony club rallies with my daughter who is an 8 year old novice !
Bruce does not look or spook his attitude towards life is quite remarkable for his young age he definitely has a young head on old shoulders .
He has hacks out alone in heavy traffic and in company.
And used to riding in huge arable open fields.
He has been in the trailer most weeks for hacks and to the beach and to riding club / pony club rallies he behaves impeccably.

He would suit someone looking for their forever horse who wants to nurture this future superstar. Due to his age he would suit a more competent rider but no reason why a novice could not ride.

Hi,

I am looking for a full loan to move yards. We are based in East Sussex and have had horses at home for the last 17 years. I am 28 years old and have ridden for the last 20 plus years.

I sadly had to give up when I moved to London a couple of years ago. But now moving back home and looking for a horse.

2yo, her bum currently at 15.2ish!

"Tee" is a lovely wee horse who will go so far in the right hands, she has a very trainable nature and is bold and brave with any new thing she encounters.

She is great with the farrier and has met and had a positive first experience with the dentist. She was also vetted a year ago when I bought her and there were no issues raised. Happy to share this with any prospective purchaser.

Has had a very successful showing career with her breeder prior to my buying her! Took.her out to a local.show at the weekend and she took everything in her stride.

I want her to go to the very best home and this is not an easy decision to make but lack of time to do her justice forces sale.
