Don’t be put off by his age there’s plenty of life left in him.

Cosmo would suit a confident teen or small adult who wants to go out and have fun out jumping or enjoying some hacking but equally would be happy for a child to pop on him and have a bit of fun. He very much likes to have a job and is kept busy.

He hacks alone and in company, even though he’s better alone as he can get hotheaded even though he is never dangerous just can jog and gets slightly worked up. 

Cosmo will comfortably jump around courses of 85 cm and single fences of 1m10. He loves his jumping and will take anyone around a course.

He is good to load, clip and shoe (currently shod on his front) and he’s up to date with all vaccinations and teeth.

Cosmo has a couple of medical conditions that all can be discussed and are all solved with easy management.

He has been in the same home for the last 10 years and is very much loved and will not just be sold to anyone; hence this is a very sad sale sadly due to having no job and being wasted currently.

I realise I am looking for a unicorn, however placing a wanted advert helped to find our current unicorn who has become a central part of our family and isn't going anywhere. (Hence why looking for our step onto horses is becoming so difficult as I have nothing to sell.)

I am looking for a horse, 15.2-16.2 to carry on the journey with my teenage daughter. She is a competent, kind rider with a balanced seat and a dedicated approach to horsemanship. She has completed up to 100cm UA SJ, and BE80, and BD Novice. She has had a range of experience from local unaffiliated classes through to BRC Champs, BD Nationals, NSEA, BS Just for Schools riding a local venues and also larger venues including Hickstead, Arena UK, Bicton etc.

We are looking for a horse to continue on these adventures with a view to progress in all 3 disciplines. She is keen to progress in affiliated areas including BS and BE Grassroots. We are potentially looking for a horse that may be looking to step down a level or two but still have an active life. We don't compete every weekend as my daughter also balances playing hockey at a high level, but horses really are her joy. We do have roughly 2 lessons a week and attend Riding Club weekly.

We have a great coach and although we have a livery spot, we also have a couple of stables at home and small paddock so we can enjoy the best of both especially over school holidays. We are committed family to our horses and have kept many of our ponies over the years into retirement. We still have our dear Shetland too.

Where to start with this absolute superstar!

Ava is what alot of people are looking for. Easy going chilled out temperament, shrugs her shoulders at new things and just tries incredibly hard to please. An absolute pet on the ground she’s like a big dog and just wants to be loved. Probably the easiest young horse we’ve ever had.

Superb mover, plenty of jump if wanted.

Hacks alone or in company and is good in traffic. Good in open spaces and doesn’t hot up.

Done plenty of hacking, small bit of XC schooling and been out to arena hires where she was very easy. Starting to string a few fences together and is very honest.

Green on the flat as to be expected for a horse of her age/size as she hasn’t been hammered round in circles, but she’s starting to learn about working into a contact and is picking things up quickly. She is a really flashy mover and would put some dressage bred horses to shame! More of a leg on ride but not a total kick along.

She really would go on and do any job, or she’d just as happily plod round the block a few times a week.

Good to catch/load/shoe/groom (her favourite thing!)/wash off.

A very kind mare who is a pleasure to have around, a real best friend. She’d be a really nice one if you’re looking to bring on your first young horse.

Sad sale of much loved family Horse. We have owned Skye for nearly 3 years now. My daughter moved on to Skye from ponies and she has proven to be such a fabulous first horse. However due to personal circumstances we haven’t had her out as much as we would have liked over the last two years and now she’s sadly outgrown as my 15 year old daughter wants to move on to horses and has grown long in the leg.

Prior to that, Skye has taken part in Pony Club and Riding Club activities including camp.

Competing at 70/80cm but definitely has scope for more. Easy to handle, clip, load etc. Snaffle mouthed. Forward but not strong. Can pop in an excitable buck but nothing dangerous. Never reared for us. Can hack alone or in company, not spooky and lives on a farm so used to traffic and farm machinery. Travels in a trailer or horsebox.

Up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. Has melanomas but never caused a problem – happy for any vetting or access to vet history and vetting certificate from August 2022.

Lives out in summer and comes in in Winter. Very low maintenance and low mileage for age.

Cola is a striking mare with 3 lovely paces. She is being sold as a project due to her ability to be a bit hot-headed at times, so needs a confident, patient rider - absolutely no novices!!

She has jumped previously and proved to have a lovely scopey jump. Needs work as can be sharp coming out of the jump - another reason for her being a project.

She does not hack alone but will hack out happily in company. Absolutely bomb proof in all types of traffic - has lived on a busy farm with lots of machines going around her throughout the day.

On the ground, she is an absolute dream. Will go out with all types of company. She loves her stable, would happily sleep all day if she had the choice.

We have had Felix for year and a half and he has been the perfect transition horse for my then 15yr old daughter who has had the most wonderful time on him but has now sadly outgrown him.

He has turned his hoof to all disciplines and he would be happiest in a dressage and showjumping home as he can lack confidence in XC.

He has attended many pony club rallies and training events and is a real head turner with the most willing to please and genuine attitude. He hacks well alone or in company.

Felix rarely touches a pole and is always placed in dressage.

His achievements include:
- Qualified for SJ Hickstead 2025 in the 90+100cm classes.
- Qualified for the dressage pony club championships 2024

He is a lamb on the ground and always polite. Has no vices, easy to shoe (only has them in front), boxes and travels well, easy to clip and no sedation needed for the dentist or vet. Lives out 24/7 with us but could also live in and gets on really well with other horses and loves sharing paddocks.

Felix is well loved by all who know him and there would be many people who are happy to vouch for his genuine and easy going nature along with his schoolmaster work ethic.

Price reduced as I’m struggling to keep him in full work. Sad sale of ‘Turbo’ due to having two young children and renovating a house, I unfortunately no longer have the time or energy to put into him.

He’s 6yo Irish Cob. I bought him over from Ireland as a 3 year old and have done a bit of everything with him since. He has done clinics, charity rides, Le Trec, beach rides, been on holiday, XC, pub rides and has hunted. I hack him both alone and in company on a busy main road and he has never been any trouble to load or travel.

He loves to be fussed and has a real personality but he is still green and needs the time and work put into him. For this reason he is not suitable for a novice or first horse.

He does dish with his front legs but it doesn’t affect him in any way, he just won’t be suitable for showing.
